Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3852  Hitching A Ride

”Your highness, I donʼt know the right way to head to the Obsidian Crystal Turtle Minor Realm. If you could point out where exactly it is, I will be grateful.”

Autarch Yulan Nazarin cupped his hands, appearing to still adopt a respectful attitude.

”…”

Clara stayed quiet.

Davisʼs eyes narrowed. Even he didnʼt know the right way to the Obsidian Crystal Turtle Minor Realm, so how would his little sister know? Besides, he knew she couldnʼt lie properly, so he took a step toward them to intervene as the servant he portrayed himself to be.

”Unfortunately, it hasnʼt been that long since I left my realm. I donʼt know the right way, nor do I care to know now until I reach the Azure Tree Lower Realm.”

”Makes sense.”

Autarch Yulan Nazarin nodded.

He figured that a character like her would not need to know everything before making a move because no matter where she went, all she needed to do was ask, and the heavens would answer her.

Not one person below her cultivation base could resist her Mandate Laws and even Autarchs like him would tell her almost anything she wanted to know out of respect, as long as it wasnʼt detrimental to them.

Still, as a Heavenʼs Warrior from the Lower Realms, he thought she wouldʼve known how to get there since the organization she was affiliated with wouldʼve contacted her. Could it be that she didnʼt get a message?

But he heard from the realm officials that all the Heavenʼs Warriors and even them were contacted, many making their way to the Obsidian Crystal Turtle Minor Realm, although half still stayed around the Eastern Central Strata in order to catch the Divine Emperor of Death if he appeared in the Eternal Twilight Lower Realm.

He had many questions but didnʼt know not to get personal.

Instead, he asked.

”I am affiliated with the Divine Sentinel Order of the Upper Realms. May I know which organization youʼre affiliated with?”

”I have not joined any organization.”

”What?”

Autarch Yulan Nazarin looked taken aback.

He blinked at Clara before smiling lightly, ”Excuse me, your highness. Do you mean to say that you are from a family of Heavenʼs Warriors and donʼt need to join an organization? Even if you are from a major power, you can still join the organizations as long as you minimize the contact with your family in order to maintain balance in the world.” He advised her sincerely.

Since she was just an Immortal Emperor, he could tell that she was quite young.

Clara shook her head, ”Iʼm still contemplating which organization to join, considering I have a few problems with the way we Heavens Warriorsʼ deal with the people. They donʼt have enough consideration or bother to heed the words of the innocent, thinking themselves to be above everything.”

”…”

Autarch Yulan Nazarin took a step back, thinking about the earlier incident when he insulted the flying ship and harmed a personʼs feelings.

”You look guilty of what I just said.”

Claraʼs gaze flashed as she looked at him with a scrutinizing gaze.

”Your highness, I promise I didnʼt have ill intent.”

”I know.”

Clara looked away, her purple eyes glowing, ”Too many harmful acts performed on the basis of ignorance are not a valid excuse for hurting others. I cannot stress how important it is to be mindful of our actions and their impact on those around us, especially since the heavens have gifted us with more authority than necessary.”

”Your majesty is wise and benevolent.”

Autarch Yulan Nazarin nodded, realizing the importance of empathy and understanding that they lacked due to their heavenly powers. The way he addressed her also changed from highness to her majesty, admitting that a natural born ruler was different from everyone, even among the Heavenʼs Warriors.

He gained more and more respect for her.

”…”

Davis also stood flabbergasted.

Was his little sister acting, or was she genuinely speaking from the bottom of her heart? Even he was taken aback.

”Thatʼs why I have yet to decide which organization to join. I have been eyeing the Divine Sentinel Order for their incredible achievements obtained since time immemorial, but the Sacred Crusade League, with their overall presence, also seems good. However, the newly emerging Astral Spring League also seems promising, especially for a newcomer like me.”

Clara contemplated openly as though she were really considering, which made Davisʼs heart leap.

ʼCould it be that Iʼm holding her back…?ʼ

He lowered his gaze, knowing she would skyrocket with the amount of resources these Heavenʼs Warriors organizations possessed. There was nothing to stop her here other than the Heavenly Blight Hall but would that be a problem if she was cultivating within those organizations?

”Your majesty, I would be honored to welcome you to our Divine Sentinel Order if you please.”

Autarch Yulan Nazarin cupped his hands.

”I have already received an invitation from Empyrean Miller Skyrend to get into the Divine Sentinel Order, but Iʼll consider it.”

”…”

Autarch Yulan Nazarin raised his brows. He knew Empyrean Miller Skyrend, who was an important person in the Divine Sentinel Order. However-

”No, your majesty. I mean, I can invite you into the Divine Sentinel Order in the Upper Realms. Just because one was a part of the Divine Sentinel Order in the Lower Realms wouldnʼt mean they would automatically be admitted into the higher branch. Of course, it is different for you, your majesty, since your physique is of the highest order. Any organization will quickly accept you. Nonetheless, I would be much obliged to have your regal presence in our organization, and I promise you would have the most valuable resources at your feet as the order would focus on nurturing your cultivation and abilities to the fullest.”

He cupped his hands and bowed with a smile. Although he was younger, he had more influence than Empyrean Miller Skyrend in the Upper Realms and the Divine Sentinel Order.

He was proud of it and wanted to be the one who invited the master of Transcendent Truth Eyes. Undoubtedly, it was an act of great honor.

”Iʼll think about it.”

However, Claraʼs reply lacked enthusiasm. She didnʼt seem interested, which made Autarch Yulan Nazarin smile and take his hands back.

”Thatʼs alright.”

He was thinking of taking her through the rare Upper Layer spatial node that supported both entry and exit. But by this time, he guessed it was already gone since he had entered, knowing it was about to vanish in less than half an hour.

He gestured, ”A person of your caliber cannot be forced or coerced, or it would be a cardinal sin. Instead, may I know your grand name?”
