Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3850  Closer To Extinction

”…”

Davis raised one of his brows at the seniors.

Right now, they were the only ones on the deck, while the rest were all in the Nine-Treasured Immortal Ordeal Palace. It was a good thing that Davis had made the ladies leave earlier, as he told them he would take care of keeping a lookout for the skies ahead.

Part of him wondered if this was his shitty luck bringing a Heavenʼs Warrior near him.

Still, he felt like he didnʼt need to hide. He kept his undulations concealed, and Fallen Heaven passively concealed his Divergent aura. If he had to guess, thatʼs probably why the Mystic Diviners of the world never got close to his location, even now.

They needed more time, but would their sacrificial moves last? It was not like they could keep sacrificing their Mystic Diviners to find him. Talented Mystic Diviners were not going to sprout everywhere. He just had to outlast them or their willingness to sacrifice themselves for the so-called just cause.

He turned to look at the Heavenʼs Warrior, not believing they got his location through divination.

After all, it was an upper-layer spatial node. That was not something one could create just because they wanted to. He had heard how the Rumbling Laws were seemingly capable of locating anomalies in space and even spatial nodes connecting to upper and lower layers, but even with the Rumbling Laws, it wasnʼt possible to create one.

ʼThis must be a coincidence...ʼ Davis believed.

As the flying ship embarked, the Heavenʼs Warrior descended and was in conversation with the realm officials.

The Heavenʼs Warrior was clad in shining silver armor that glinted in the sunlight; his presence exuded power and authority. His long, flowing cape billowed behind him in the wind, along with his crimson hair, while he stood tall and confident, radiating an aura of strength and determination.

The intricate designs etched into his armor hinted at a deep connection to the heavenly forces, marking him as a great being not to be trifled with.

Davis could sense abnormal pressure from him. He didnʼt feel this pressure from Autarch Metenoa. Clearly, this Heaven Warriorʼs prowess was not normal. He was most likely a genius, at the very least. His appearance was also young and dashing, making Davis believe he could be an upstart who descended to have a chance at killing him.

The realm officials appeared scared and instantly stood in attention, welcoming the Heavenʼs Warrior and explaining all kinds of things as they adopted a subservient attitude.

The other people didnʼt think of that much, as they also had their heads lowered.

”…” It pissed off Davis instead.

Why must he be running around while the Heavenʼs Warriors enjoyed such privilege?

It made him want to rebel against the heavens.

The only thing he found some delight in that unfairness was that his little sister would enjoy this privilege. When Yilla and the others set out to save the big three and found Shirley, they told him how revered Clara was. He was relieved to hear that, since even if he died, his precious little sister would remain safe.

That was one worry down.

Nonetheless, the black robe he was wearing wouldnʼt be able to obstruct an Autarchʼs perception.

He obediently headed back to the Nine Treasured Immortal Ordeal Palace, hidden in another cabin chained with extra concealment talismans created by Sophie after she learned from Autarch Metenoaʼs records.

As long as it was inside the ship, Heavenʼs Warrior shouldnʼt be able to find it even with his perception unless he sent his soul force inside.

They are slightly endangered right now.

At this moment, the Heavenʼs Warrior shot a look towards their flying ship because it was the only ship moving amongst the many. However, his gaze didnʼt stay for long, and he returned to the realm officials as he continued speaking.

Their flying boat took off into the distance, leaving the area.

”Phew…”

After some time, Founder Alstreim heaved a sigh of relief. Klade also possessed a similar expression.

Facing an Autarch level Heavenʼs Warriors was nothing but a daunting task. He may be nearly impossible to defeat, but they have managed to evade detection for now. They knew they had to remain cautious as they continued on their journey.

Founder Alstreim used the map to find a new warp point.

They had missed the previous warp spot, so he let the ship fly at maximum speed. In a few minutes, he quickly arrived and began to search for the warp point using the shipʼs instruments and his own senses.

Klade also helped.

However, they looked above together, noticing a flying boat ship slow down its speed before it came to a complete stop. It hung above for a few seconds, making Ancestor Alstreim and Klade look at each other with some doubt.

*Bzzzz!~*

However, the next second, oppressive undulations from someone on that flying shipʼs deck caused their ship to shake violently. Alarmed, Alstreim and Klade quickly activated the barrier to protect themselves.

”Halt!”

Just as they tried to leave by accelerating the flying boat, a powerful voice echoed throughout heaven and earth.

Someone descended, revealing themselves as the Heavenʼs Warrior from before.

He was clad in gleaming silver armor, radiating an aura of authority and power that made Ancestor Alstreim and Klade freeze in their tracks. The Heavenʼs Warriorʼs piercing gaze seemed to see right through them, sending a shiver down their spines.

”Remove the barrier before I break it.”

”Of course, Oʼ Venerable Heavenʼs Warrior.”

Founder Alstreim barely reacted with a forced smile on his face as he removed the barrier.

The Heavenʼs Warrior landed on their ship, his sharp black eyes looking around. He didnʼt look at them but seemed to be scanning the ship. A few seconds later, he looked at Founder Alstreim.

”You have such peculiar features. It slightly matches the description of one of the people Iʼm looking for, but you donʼt seem to be him.”

”Ah, respected Heavenʼs Warrior means that Anarchic Divergent?”

Founder Alstreim touched his blonde hair that had a bit of green strands while blinking his purple eyes, ”I get that a lot nowadays, but this is my true appearance. I donʼt see why I should change it just because a vile person has similar traits.”

”Fair enough.”

The Heavenʼs Warrior nodded without a change in expression. He cast a glance at Klade before returning his gaze and asking.

”Whereʼs the third person on this flying ship? I donʼt sense their presence anywhere.”

”…!ʼ

Founder Alstreimʼs heart almost leaped into his throat. This Heavenʼs Warrior actually noticed before he looked back then, or did he garner more remnant auras from the flying ship?

Still, Founder Alstreim didnʼt drop his act and smiled.

At least the other party didnʼt seem to have broken eyes like Clara.

”I donʼt know. That person may have jumped off or is resting in one of the cabins. In fact, Iʼm a free skyfarer who loves to help people travel, so Iʼm not sure if thereʼs one or more people in my ship. Iʼm nothing but a man who makes a living with this classy ship of mine, and flying her around gives me immense joy. Her name is Dauntila. Donʼt you think sheʼs lovely?”

”She stinks…”

”Oh that… Earlier, she had an accident with a Dark Moon Crow. Please donʼt say sheʼs stinky. One day, Iʼll bet she will form a spirit and think back to this memory where a Heavenʼs Warrior who is loved by heaven and earth actually said that she stinks…”

”It is unlikely your flying ship can give birth to a construct spirit, but if it does, then Iʼll apologize.”

The Heavenʼs Warriorʼs gaze flickered before he moved towards the cabin and headed inside.

”…”

Founder Alstreim and Kladeʼs expressions werenʼt good, but they forcefully hid that with the zealous smile of meeting a Heavenʼs Warrior. They glanced at each other, their gaze relaying that they were screwed, before they followed him inside.

The Heavenʼs Warrior moved past several cabins.

He stopped right before a wall, noticing concealment talismans put up. He turned to look at Founder Alstreim and Klade.

”Have something to say?”

”Ah, yes. By any chance, did Venerable Heavenʼs Warrior want to rest in one of my cabins? Iʼd be much obliged to have you as a guest, and I am willing to do my part for the world and give you a free ride, but the way I see it, the flying ship your venerate is controlling is probably far more luxurious.”

Founder Alstreim articulated with a wry smile, as though he were embarrassed.

”…”

The Heavenʼs Warrior stared at him before he returned his gaze to the wall in front of him. He reached out his hand, touching the wall. However, he pulled his hand back, ripping apart a concealment talisman of Peak-Level Sovereign Grade.

It caused the wall to flicker and reveal a door.

Founder Alstreim and Kladeʼs expressions sank. They were powerless to do anything as they watched him open the door. Even if they threw themselves and self-destructed, the other party wouldnʼt receive a scratch.

The Heavenʼs Warrior opened the door and stepped inside as he put a foot down. His pupils dilated the next second.
