Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 2934  Elsewhere

While Davis was starting to genuinely have fun with his women after what seemed to be a long time for him, the alliances of the First Haven World were not quiet.

They gathered in a palace at the behest of the Fire Phoenix Clan.

The gathering was to the northeast of the Western Fire Phoenix Prefecture. Thousands of immortals flew to this newly constructed palace that would seem to also function as a stronghold to the other alliances as teleportation formations were also being built.

However, it wasnʼt like they were directly connected to the other powers, but they were a series of teleportation formations constructed over a long distance.

Instead of wild plains or hidden locations, they were constructed in cities, so they had to use many teleportation formations before coming here. Still, most of the teleportation formations hadnʼt been finished yet, so many had to use battleships to make their way.

Inside the palace, the Dragon Alliance and Phoenix Alliance were naturally present, and so were the Kirin Alliance, Unfettered Skies Alliance, Rumbling Firmament Alliance, the spirit alliances, and the human raceʼs strongest alliance, the Crimson Sangreal Alliance.

Needless to say, except for the Dragon Alliance, Phoenix Alliance, and the Kirin Alliance, all other alliances had leaders.

Those leaders represented the face of those alliances, sitting at the foremost of their designated seating areas. Although the seating areas were established in a circular format, they were not seated on tables and chairs but on cushions with a small table in front of them for refreshments.

”Greetings, everyone. I, the Patriarch of the Fire Phoenix Clan, Killian Zenflame, am once again delighted to host you all.”

Killian Zenflame stood up from his seat and extended his hands with a cup between his palms, which he then toasted with a smile and took a gulp.

”…”

However, no one took the cup and toasted him. Some reached out for the cup, but seeing that no their leaders werenʼt toasting, they didnʼt do it either, taking back their hands.

”We arenʼt delighted.” The Azure Flame Kirin Clanʼs Patriarch appeared unamused.

”Have you poisoned the drinks?” The Dark Phoenix Clanʼs Patriarch raised his brows.

”Quickly tell us what you have in mind, Fire Phoenix Patriarch.” Patriarch Asta Rubyshroud frowned.

The leaders of the other powers werenʼt that receptive.

It wasnʼt that they gave respect to the Fire Phoenix Clan by coming here, but their own urgency to get rid of the karmic burden in them caused them to appear here.

Although there was no way to accurately measure how much karmic burden they have incurred, this isnʼt something they would like to retain or check out by undergoing their tribulation, especially when they have their tribulations due in a few years, hundreds of years, or thousands as they would have to go through their tribulation every nine thousand years if they were human.

There was no other power than the Crimson Sangreal Alliance that felt the urgency.

Still, they all wanted to get rid of karmic burden as soon as possible so they wouldnʼt encounter unlucky events or fail their tribulations, and the best way to get rid of that was to hunt down the source, the Emperor of Death.

However, they were also here for another thing, knowing that the Starlight Jade Wolf Clan had captured the Fire Phoenix Clanʼs armies.

Looking at this scene, Patriarch Killian Zenflame didnʼt seem flustered or embarrassed. He gave the cup away and cupped his hands to them.

”Everyone, our combined actions have forced the menace to make a move. Although he himself didnʼt appear, it seems that he has sent his wives to save the Starlight Jade Wolf Clan, which caught us off-guard as we couldnʼt make a move on them. We have learned our lesson and apologize for it, so I ask for more support so that we can smoke him out altogether.”

”Oh?” Patriarch Asta Rubyshroud chuckled, ”Thatʼs not what I heard. One of your divisions seemed to have attacked your immortal inheritor Shirley Davis but got instantly frozen by the Aurora Cloud Gateʼs top disciple, Tanya Davis. What do you have to say about that?”

”I didnʼt give a command to attack them. That was one of our Generals moving to secure the immortal inheritor for us, yet met his untimely demise.”

”Heh!~”

Hearing Patriarch Killian Zenflameʼs reply, Patriarch Asta Rubyshroud found it funny.

”So you still havenʼt found the Emperor of Death yet?”

”There are many reports about him, and itʼs not stopping.” Patriarch Killian Zenflame replied to another leader, ”I figure someone is trying to hamper our efforts, aiding the Emperor of Death from behind the scenes.”

”Indeed.” Abruptly, another leader from the crowd agreed, ”Just a while ago, my scouts were even killed in the Aurora Cloud Gate for trespassing or because they had found something and were quickly finished off. In any case, since the Aurora Cloud Gate retaliated, we have enough reasons to storm them.”

Everyone turned to look at that person and saw that it was none other than the Duststorm Familyʼs Patriarch. The Duststorm Family had the bloodline power stemming from the Dust Typhoon Physique, which made them a part of the Crimson Sangreal Alliance.

Nonetheless, hearing his statement, the Light Dragon Clanʼs Patriarch furrowed his brows.

”Do we dare to take on an ancient power responsible for uniting all the races and reducing bloodshed to a level where our First Haven World could be called a peaceful land?”

”Whatʼs this about?”

The Duststorm Familyʼs Patriarch frowned, but then the Light Dragon Clanʼs Patriarch went on to explain matters that had been long forgotten.

”No way…”

”The legendary Saintess belonged to that power…?”

”How can it be? I thought she was part of the Dragon or Phoenix Alliance if she wasnʼt in her own power...”

Many expressed disbelief, which made the ones ready to attack the Aurora Cloud Gate hesitate a bit. Some already seemed to know as their immortal inheritors seemed to be privy to this matter as they were leaders of that time.

However, they shook their heads. Their lives and fate were at stake. So what if the Saintess had been a part of the Aurora Cloud Gate?

It was history. The ones at the top were different people, or so they imagined, as they couldnʼt see the legendary Saintess remain here.

”Regardless if weʼre going to invade the Aurora Cloud Gate or not, the Starlight Jade Wolf Clan that openly supports the existence of an Anarchic Divergent comes first.”

Patriarch Killian Zenflame suggested, ”To that end, the Cyan Soul Rat Clan, Flame Seal Alliance, and a few other powers like the Heaven Gazing Hall and Heaven Punishment Sect have declared their full support to us. Therefore, I can hope you do the same. The sooner we cause the Starlight Jade Wolf Clan to collapse, the faster he will appear.”

”…”

Everyone couldnʼt help but blink at his statement.

The Heaven Punishment Sect was going to make a comeback? They had their doubts when they heard that Divergent Slayers were sent but were somehow killed, but now it made sense. It wasnʼt a rumor but the truth.

Nevertheless, they couldnʼt help but agree that this method of targeting the Starlight Jade Wolf Clan was working, as he had even sent his beloved women into the fray.

It seemed like the Emperor of Death truly cared about his allies. Or was that a move solely made by his women?

”In that case, my Noble Ice Alliance also give support and send our troops to invade the Starlight Jade Wolf Clan.”

”Weʼll also give our support and take care of the forces from the Golden Crow Clan and Obsidian Crystal Turtle Clan.” The Roaring Wind Allianceʼs leader added.

”As long as we can get rid of the karmic burden plaguing us, nothing is off the table.” The Starmantle Familyʼs Patriarch chuckled.

”Indeed, if that Anarchic Divergent wants to blame anyone, he could only blame himself for bringing karmic burden upon us!”

Everyone couldnʼt help but display smiles as they nodded in agreement.

They were innocent bystanders dragged into this mess. Who could blame them if they retaliated? It was only their right.

”What about the Earth Dragon Clan? Why arenʼt they here?”

However, Patriarch Asta Rubyshroud suddenly asked.

His firm and inquisitive voice, not to mention his emperor-like appearance, left everyone suddenly curious.

”Thatʼs right. Whereʼs the Earth Dragon Clan?”

Some had noticed, but they thought the Earth Dragon Clan was only late or showing disrespect to the Fire Phoenix Clan for ruining their endeavor, but even after a while, they had yet to show up, which made them confused.

Werenʼt they after their immortal inheritor anymore?

It was said that Isabella Davis practically ground the Duststorm Family, Ethereal Illusion Spirit Tribe, Ravaging Crimson Star Spirit Tribe, and Purgatory Inferno Flame Spirit Tribeʼs armies into meat paste, buying their wrath as a result which made them more or less side with the Fire Phoenix Clan that they declared their support early.

Nonetheless, with such a strong immortal inheritor where the word strong doesnʼt even fit her stature since she possessed incredible might, they wondered how the Earth Dragon Clan wouldnʼt want her.

However, just as they were thinking, a messenger clad in Fire Phoenix Clanʼs robes ran to the center and knelt down, cupping his hands.

”Reporting to the Patriarch. It seems that the Earth Dragon Clan has stationed their forces in the Starlight Jade Wolf Clanʼs Prefecture to protect them!”

”What!?”

Many leaders rose in an uproar!

Does this mean the Earth Dragon Clan didnʼt want their immortal inheritor anymore?

”Bastards. They sold their souls and pride for recruiting their shameful immortal inheritor who doesnʼt know what gratitude means! What cowards! Are they still even the Earth Dragon Clan!?”

Patriarch Killian Zenflame roared, causing the members of the Dragon Alliance to feel strange as their expressions furrowed.

Did Patriarch Klavius Rocksunder truly make this decision?

Nonetheless, no matter how long they continued the meeting, the Earth Dragon Clan had yet to show up, which confirmed their speculation. At the end of the meeting, they agreed to storm the Starlight Jade Wolf Clan with their armies within three days!

Even the Dragon and Phoenix Alliance were a part of this punitive force, making it so that Patriarch Killian Zenflame returned to his palace with a big smile on his face and was welcomed by three beauties who thoroughly took care of him like their lives were dependent on it.

”Sooner or later, Iʼll get them...” He gasped and grunted, imagining the day he would finally get his hands on Zahara and Shirley.

His crimson eyes bloomed with rage and lust, all because his son Lars Zenflame wasnʼt able to wake up even after reviving himself! That bastard had done something so vile that his son had gone into a coma!
