Urban Divine Doctor Descends the Mountain

Chapter 47: Chapter 47: Who is this kid?

Chapter 47 -47: Who is this kid?

“Let me kneel and beg you? Dream on!” Liu Yun curled her lip, noncommittal.

Then, with a grand wave of her hand, she said to the people behind her, “What are you standing around for? Hurry up, grab him, and throw him into prison!”

A few of them stepped forward, ready to take Lin Dong away.

Seeing this, Qiao Bing hurriedly said, “The First Lady of the city, how can you do this!”

“Lin Dong hasn’t committed any crime. And if you arrest him, who’s going to treat Mayor Fang?”

“You needn’t worry about that, Director Huang has already contacted his overseas instructor and expert. He will come directly ‘Flying Blade’, and can arrive at the Hospital tonight!” Liu Yun coldly huffed.

Perhaps because Qiao Bing had always been speaking up for Lin Dong, even she wasn’t spared from Liu Yun’s irritation.

Lin Dong didn’t resist and was taken away just like that.

Bai Jue had just gotten the news and hurried over from the Nurse Station, anxiously saying, “Dongzi, what’s going on?”

“Haven’t you already cured Mayor Fang? Why are they still arresting you?”

As she spoke, her eyes reddened.

Clearly, she was too worried about Lin Dong.

Being in prison could ruin a person.

Lin Dong instead began to comfort her, “Sister Bai Jue, it’s okay, don’t worry. I won’t be in trouble.”

“Move it!” The people jeered a few times and took Lin Dong away with them.

Soon, they took Lin Dong to the nearest prison.

Back at the Hospital, Sister Bai Jue was very anxious when she saw that Lin Dong had been arrested.

She hurried to find Director Qiao Bing.

But Qiao Bing sighed and said, “I’ll try to pull some strings, but it might not work.”

“After all, it was the First Lady of the city who had Lin Dong put away, and no one dares to offend her!”

After she left, Huang Hua came over with a gleeful smile and said to Bai Jue,

“Bai Jue, I really didn’t expect Lin Dong to be arrested. Do you want to save him?”

Huang Hua had only learned about the turn of events after he came out from washing his face.

Lin Dong had been sent away!

His father, Huang Wude, was going to invite a foreign expert to come and treat Mayor Fang again!

Now, he wanted to use this situation to threaten Bai Jue.

Bai Jue nodded, “Yes!”

“Hehe, Bai Jue, I can fish Lin Dong out. But, you need to give me something in return,” said Huang Hua lecherously looking at Bai Jue.

Bai Jue naturally knew what kind of ‘payment’ he was referring to.

Huang Hua had been lusting after her for so long, what he desired, as a mature woman, she would clearly understand.

“Haha, think about it. If you decide, spend a night with me. I can go beg the First Lady of the city for mercy, she will surely face on me. After all, my dad is going to call the expert to treat Mayor Fang!”

Huang Hua was not in a rush; he knew that pushing too hard might not get her to agree.

After he left, Bai Jue heaved a deep sigh.

“Dongzi, what should I do?”

…

A few hours later.

The foreign expert invited by Huang Wude arrived at the Hospital.

This foreign doctor was her instructor during the time Huang Wude studied abroad.

Huang Wude often called him to perform ‘Flying Blade’ operations!

The compensation was always high, generally over a hundred thousand dollars per flight!

This doctor’s name was Thomas!

“Teacher, you’ve come. The patient this time has a very important identity. If you can cure them, I’ll give you at least two hundred thousand dollars!” Huang Wude said.

Thomas, sporting a large beard and over sixty years of age, wore a white gown as he examined Mayor Fang’s body.

At the same time, he reviewed various instruments.

“This patient is very strange. Clearly cured before, now having a relapse?” After the examination, Thomas spoke in English.

Someone translated for him, and after hearing it, Liu Yun hurriedly asked, “Doctor Thomas, can you cure him?”

Thomas shook his head, “I’m incapable in this case. The illness is too troublesome! You should find the person who cured this patient before! Perhaps, he has a way!”

Upon hearing this, Liu Yun’s face went dark.

She quickly turned to look at Huang Wude!

“Huang Wude, is this the expert you were talking about?”

“Also, wasn’t Lin Dong supposed to be a scammer? Now the expert says I should find Lin Dong for treatment?”

Huang Wude broke out into a cold sweat and hurriedly said to his instructor, “Teacher, are you really helpless?”

Thomas shook his head, “No, I’m sorry, I can’t cure this disease.”

“And this patient, I estimate, can only live through tonight. You might want to start making the necessary arrangements!”

Whirrrr~~~

A buzzing filled Liu Yun’s mind, what Thomas said was identical to what Lin Dong had said before.

“Huang Wude, you bastard! Didn’t you say that Lin Dong was a scammer?” Liu Yun raged, embarrassed and angry.

She vented all her anger onto Huang Wude.

Huang Wude felt awkward; he never expected his own instructor to be unable to save Mayor Fang.

“First Lady of the city, perhaps… perhaps you should ask Lin Dong to come and treat him again?”

Huang Wude had no choice but to suggest that Lin Dong should treat him again.

The First Lady of the city quickly made a call.

She called the prison warden where Lin Dong was being held and asked him to relay her message to Lin Dong.

Meanwhile, Lin Dong was being locked up in prison.

“Kid, kneel down and acknowledge a ‘Mountain’, and I’ll have your back hereafter!” A burly man, along with a group of prisoners, surrounded Lin Dong.

Lin Dong’s expression grew dark, ready to explode any moment.

But just then, the prison warden hurried over with some guards.

“Oh no, the prison warden’s here!” Everyone’s faces changed color, scared, they all backed away.

At that moment, the prison warden approached Lin Dong and quickly said,

“You’re Mr. Lin Dong, right? You’re being released. Hurry to the Hospital, the First Lady of the city is calling for you!”

As soon as he said that, everyone was stunned.

Who was this guy?

Such that the prison warden was so polite, even using the honorific ‘you’?

But an even more surprising scene was about to occur.

Lin Dong shook his head, “I find prison quite alright; I don’t really want to go out yet.”

The prison warden was nearly in tears and pleaded, “Mr. Lin Dong, I’m begging you, please go out.”

But Lin Dong still refused, stating if they wanted him to treat the illness again, first, the First Lady of the city, Liu Yun, must kneel and beg him; otherwise, he would not agree.

In the end, seeing Lin Dong really didn’t want to leave, the warden had no choice but to go make a call to report back to Liu Yun!

When he left, the same prisoners who had demanded Lin Dong kneel before them moments ago were all flabbergasted.

Who was this person?

The prison warden begged him to go out, and he still wouldn’t give face?

He’s too fierce!
