Chapter 23 -23, don’t you wish him to die?

Twenty minutes ago, after Lin Dong took out those fake policemen who were subordinates of Lin Hu in the abandoned factory, they immediately called Lin Hu.

Upon receiving the call, Lin Hu was livid, half dead with anger.

Just as he was about to gather his forces and prepare to capture Lin Dong again, his head suddenly swelled up, and he collapsed to the ground.

“What a cunning kid, he actually had a trick up his sleeve!” After Lin Hu collapsed, he came to this realization.

Lin Dong hadn’t completely cured him; he had intentionally held back.

Now, as Lin Hu had broken the agreement, his brain tumor had relapsed and was much more serious than before, rendering him incapable of even walking.

“Xiao Hong… quick, go find that kid. Have him cure me…” After saying that, Lin Hu passed out.

As for Sister Hong, she was naturally in a frantic rush, holding the final payment of Two Million and Five Hundred Thousand, heading to Bai Jue’s rental house.

She was sure that Lin Dong would return.

And indeed, upon knocking on the door, she saw Lin Dong.

Lin Dong, seeing Sister Hong, obviously knew the purpose of her visit.

However, with a cold expression on his face, it was clear he would not agree to treat Lin Hu anymore.

This person who was thoroughly vicious and did wicked deeds without restraint, whose entire heart was broken, simply couldn’t turn over a new leaf.

His death would truly be a blessing to society!

“Where is the final payment of Two Hundred Fifty Thousand?” Lin Dong asked with a heavy voice.

“Here, I’ve brought it, Divine Doctor, please accept it!” Without a word, Sister Hong took out a safe box, opened it up, and inside it was filled with bundles of hundred-yuan bills.

That was precisely Two Million and Five Hundred Thousand!

Lin Dong accepted it frankly.

After accepting it, he said gravely, “Okay, you can leave now.”

Sister Hong: ???

“Divine Doctor, what do you mean? Are you saying, after taking the money, you won’t cure the disease?” Sister Hong asked hastily.

Lin Dong sneered, “Lin Hu goes back on his word, and I’m supposed to cure him? Dream on.”

“Besides, with someone like Lin Hu, are you sure you want to cure him? Don’t you wish for him… to die instead?”

With a “bang bang bang,” Lin Dong’s words made Sister Hong’s heart start racing.

Wishing for Lin Hu to die?

Truth be told, Sister Hong felt tempted!

She never had any feelings for Lin Hu; on the contrary, she was forced by Lin Hu from the start.

Over the years, she lived in constant fear of Lin Hu. He would call her up and dismiss her at will, and when he was displeased, he would beat and scold her even more.

Lin Hu treated her like a Handy Man, making her earn money for him, manage the dancehalls, bars… He never saw her as a human being.

Deep down, she actually loathed Lin Hu.

It was only out of fear of him that she dared not rebel.

But now… an opportunity had arisen.

Her eyes flickered as she weighed the pros and cons.

“Divine Doctor, can you help me? If you assist me to rise to power, from now on… I’ll be yours…” Sister Hong clung to Lin Dong, looking seductively at him.

Having witnessed Lin Dong’s capabilities and medical arts, she knew that with his help, it wouldn’t be too difficult for her to replace Lin Hu after his death.

Lin Dong said somewhat awkwardly, “I can help you rise to power, but as for being my woman, let’s forget that.”

“Giggle…” Sister Hong knew that he probably looked down on her status.

“Then, Divine Doctor, as long as you help me take power, I will listen to you for everything from now on…” Sister Hong looked at Lin Dong with hopeful eyes.

As long as she could rise to power and take Lin Hu’s place, even being Lin Dong’s puppet, she was willing.

Lin Dong nodded, “Okay, I agree to that.”

With that, Lin Dong invited Sister Hong in, and the two discussed many details.

Bai Jue, who listened from the side, felt her heart tremble, and at this moment, looking at Lin Dong again, she felt a tinge of fear herself.

“Dongzi actually dares to plot to seize Lin Hu’s power… and he is one of The Four Heavenly Kings of the Black Dragon Society.”

However, listening in, she realized Lin Dong’s plan was feasible.

Indeed, it was rather ruthless.

But seeing Lin Hu’s even more vicious nature, using some ruthless strategies against him didn’t seem wrong.

After discussing for half an hour, Sister Hong left with full confidence. Before departing, she took a glance at Bai Jue, thinking how genuinely beautiful this woman was.

Having managed Lin Hu’s dancehalls and bars, she had seen countless beauties, but they paled compared to Bai Jue.

Even Sister Hong couldn’t compare with her.

“With this woman here, no wonder Divine Doctor Lin doesn’t give me a second look…” Sister Hong secretly said to herself.

After she left, Bai Jue’s face looked a bit pale, and she expressed her concerns, “Dongzi, that Sister Hong is not simple. By doing this, could you be in a situation where you are bargaining with a tiger for its skin?”

Lin Dong was not at all worried, “Don’t worry, I have a backup plan. After seizing power, if she sticks to the arrangement and is willing to follow my command, there won’t be any problems.”

“But if she dares to go back on her word, I’ll make sure she regrets it immensely!”

Seeing this, Bai Jue couldn’t say much else.

She felt that Lin Dong was many times more powerful than his clan cousin, Lin Jian.

Although he didn’t have as high academic qualifications as Lin Jian, in Sister Hong’s view, Lin Dong was surely capable of accomplishing great things in the city.

Thinking this, Bai Jue wanted even more to hold on to Lin Dong.

“Dongzi, now no one will come to disturb us anymore.”

Bai Jue’s eyes brimming with water, she wrapped her arms around Lin Dong, starting to search his body…
