Chapter 24 -24: Opening a Room

Seeing this, Lin Dong hurriedly said, “Sister Bai Jue, shall we not stay here tonight?”

“I’m worried that Lin Hu will come back to trouble us later.”

Although he wasn’t afraid of Lin Hu, he still had to be cautious.

If Lin Hu came at them with a desperate ‘burn all bridges’ mentality, sending someone to fight to the death with, say, throwing a bomb or such, even if he could escape, it could easily implicate Sister Bai Jue.

So, it was better to just move to another place!

After all, he now had four million in cash; renting or even buying a new place wouldn’t be an issue.

Of course, buying or renting a house wasn’t that simple.

And it was very late now, so both decided to find a hotel to stay in for the time being.

Just like that, Lin Dong and Bai Jue packed up their things and left the place.

About half an hour later, the two of them packed up their belongings and arrived at a hotel.

“Hello, I’d like to book two rooms,” Lin Dong said to the receptionist.

The receptionist replied, “We only have one themed room left, oh.”

Before Lin Dong could speak, Bai Jue said, “It’s okay, let’s just book one room.”

Lin Dong’s face turned red. Was he going to share a room with Sister Bai Jue again tonight?

Bai Jue, however, didn’t mind at all and took the room card to the hotel room after checking in.

When the door opened, Lin Dong discovered that the room was indeed a couple themed room.

Even Bai Jue, after seeing the room, couldn’t help but curse inwardly, thinking that the young couples of today are really bold.

Despite feeling a bit shy, Bai Jue was also a little more nervous.

She was secretly looking forward to what would happen next.

…

After Sister Hong returned from Lin Dong’s place, she went back to Lin Hu’s side.

At that moment, Lin Hu was sitting in a wheelchair, and when he saw Sister Hong return, he quickly asked:

“Xiao Hong, where is Divine Doctor Lin?”

Sister Hong hurriedly said, “Tiger Master, Divine Doctor Lin, he doesn’t want to come. He’s worried about being imprisoned by you again.”

“What? He’s not coming? What about the money?” Lin Hu asked with a darkened expression.

“He took it!” Sister Hong replied.

“Bastard, took my money and won’t treat my illness. Is he seeking death?” Lin Hu cursed loudly.

Sister Hong quickly took out a prescription, “Tiger Master, this is the prescription he wrote. He said it could cure the sickness. I don’t know if it’s true or not.”

Lin Hu took the prescription, his expression fluctuating.

“Tiger Master, shall I boil the medicine according to this prescription for you?” Sister Hong asked nervously.

Lin Hu was hesitant; he also doubted the effectiveness of the medicine.

What if it didn’t work?

He couldn’t trust Lin Dong and only wanted Lin Dong himself to come over and treat his illness.

“Don’t boil the medicine yet! Since he took my money, it’s not up to him not to come. I’ll have someone forcibly ‘invite’ him over!”

After saying this, Lin Hu made a call.

This phone call was to his younger brother, Lin Bao.

“Baozi, take fifty of our best men and ‘invite’ someone over. If he’s unwilling, break his leg and bring him here by force…” Lin Hu instructed, giving an address to the other person.

That address was naturally the location of Bai Jue’s rental house.

Sister Hong, upon hearing this, felt chilled to the core. Even though Lin Hu was gravely ill, he remained ruthlessly fierce and terrifying.

Luckily, she had not rashly seized power but had reached a cooperation with Lin Dong. Otherwise, even if the other party didn’t have long to live, she would definitely not be a match for him.

Soon, Lin Hu’s brother Lin Bao led fifty of his best men to Bai Jue’s rental house.

Bai Jue’s rental house had already been vacated by Lin Dong and Bai Jue.

And Lin Jian had returned!

After getting five hundred thousand from Lin Dong, he did not go to pay off his debts.

Instead, he continued betting!

It didn’t take long for the five hundred thousand to be lost again.

Unwilling to give up, he went back to the rental house, hoping to get more money from Lin Dong.

Lin Dong still had money, and all of it must be given to him! Otherwise, he wouldn’t really sign the divorce agreement with Bai Jue!

But when he came back, he found no one in the house.

“Where did they go?”

As Lin Jian pondered, a series of urgent knocks suddenly came from the door.

Lin Jian was delighted, thinking it was Lin Dong and Bai Jue returning.

However, when he opened the door, there was no sign of Lin Dong or Bai Jue, but instead, there stood dozens of burly men at the doorway.

His legs went soft with fear right then and there.

The big man leading these burly figures was none other than Lin Bao.

Lin Bao’s build was even more imposing than Lin Hu’s, and having trained in martial arts, he was a master of a martial arts club, proficient in Thai boxing.

At this moment, when he saw Lin Jian, he said:

“You have the surname Lin, right? Our Tiger Master is looking for you!”

Lin Jian was frightened out of his wits, Tiger Master Lin Hu looking for him?

Could it be that the debts he owed the casino had attracted Lin Hu’s attention to personally come to collect?

If he didn’t have the money to pay off his debts, would they beat him to death?

Thinking this, he stammered in fear: “I won’t go, I won’t go…”

“Not going?” Lin Bao sneered, harshly commanding, “Come on, break his legs!!”

With that command, one of the men behind him advanced and ‘crack’, broke one of Lin Jian’s legs!

“Ouch~~” Lin Jian let out a scream; these people were too ruthless, weren’t they? Without a word, they had destroyed one of his legs?

At that moment, Lin Bao continued to ask, “Will you go or not?”

To avoid further violent beating, Lin Jian could only answer through agony, “Spare me, I’ll go, I’ll go…”

Seeing this, Lin Bao sneered to himself:

“Brother Hu said this guy had a hard bone, and would be difficult to ‘invite’! Seems like it’s nothing special after all. Indeed, there’s no one with a hard bone under my Lin Bao!”

Smiling triumphantly, he took Lin Jian away, who, by mistake, had a leg broken…
