Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 1096: Chapter 1084: Oh My, Are They Attacking?!

”Father, it’s Yamato. Can I bring some unusual guests back to Ghost Island this time?”

After convincing Kuzan and getting a positive reply, Yamato didn’t delve into Kuzan’s specific thoughts. If Blackbeard can appoint Kuzan, whose intentions are unclear, as his tenth ship’s captain, the Hundred Beasts are certainly up to the task now.

Not to mention Kaidou and Arceus, Yamato’s own abilities counter Kuzan, and Zeraora’s home even has a dormant Regice. Although the Icicle Plate has returned to Arceus’s body, Regice’s power is equally fearless of Kuzan.

If any accident occurs, apart from the difficulty in controlling the aftermath, everything else isn’t much of a problem.

But if bringing Kuzan back to Ghost Island really stirs up trouble, Yamato would have a headache, so she preemptively called Arceus.

As for Kaidou...

Yamato is quite confident that if things go wrong, Kaidou will definitely take the opportunity to act, whether notified in advance or not, and drag her into training.

She just doesn’t want Arceus to completely give up on treating her. If he gets upset and casually buffs Kaidou, that’ll be real hell.

”How unusual.”

”Former Navy Admiral, Kuzan. Father, let me tell you, when you sent me to that world, I encountered the ’Kuzan’ from there. That ’Kuzan’ didn’t know me, and I have always been a bounty hunter over there, so we chatted a lot.

In the end, the Kuzan here got trapped by his own words used by me...”

Yamato not only clarified the characters but also explained the cause and effect, uninhibitedly stating her real objective.

If Arceus disagrees, she’d have no choice but to leave Kuzan on an unimportant island and rethink a way to divert Kaidou’s attention.

”You handle this yourself, but Yamato, let me tell you a few things in advance.”

Dragonite and Corviknight flew in the sky while Gyarados roamed the sea, these things can’t be kept secret, many things were already not a secret, there’s just one last layer of veil involving Queen.

These messages had long been reported back by the territory’s monitoring personnel, and Arceus wasn’t much concerned about these matters now; his emphasis was on the other special matters.

”Go ahead, Father.”

”If he really causes a big fuss, don’t blame me for being unkind. Zekrom and Reshiram have discussed something interesting, and if you err in this aspect, I’ll make you understand what an omnipresent Kaidou means.

One must take responsibility for their actions; you need to understand this.”

”Don’t worry, Father. That situation won’t occur; if it does, it’s definitely my old man doing it deliberately.”

She wasn’t shifting blame but stating her view. Kaidou has a way of fighting that doesn’t impact the surrounding environment; the level of fight depends on his choice. To prevent this situation, Yamato even revised her plan.

”Suit yourself, it’s about time you returned, you’ve been slackening off quite a bit lately. Let me remind you, your father has prepared quite a few new things.”

”Ugh, Father, I’ve been diligently searching for the Plates... it’s just that your items are too difficult to find; there’s been no result yet.”

”Hmm, understood.”

The mystical fortune around Yamato indeed works; the Icicle Plate, Draco Plate, and Pixie Plate are all somewhat linked to her, accounting for one-sixth of the total.

Besides, Arceus didn’t mind what exactly Yamato was doing; Yamato constantly claimed she was working, never giving Kaidou any excuse.

After hanging up the call, Yamato didn’t return but closed her eyes, contacting those two consciousnesses within herself.

”Zekrom, Reshiram, which of you can tell me what interesting thing Father said you’re planning?”

In the next moment, the twin dragons glanced at each other, harmoniously ejecting Yamato’s consciousness, remaining silent no matter how she inquired, until she stopped dwelling on the matter.

Setting aside things that haven’t happened and those temporarily incomprehensible, Yamato reappeared before Kuzan.

”What’s wrong, you seem to be having some trouble.”

”Not a big deal, but... you’re not planning something huge, are you?”

”Hey, aren’t you the one who invited me? Why say that suddenly?”

”It’s nothing, but if you do something that causes me trouble, I’ll definitely kill you, absolutely.”

Kuzan’s first impression of Yamato was not keen on fighting, then a weirdo. This sudden, senseless talk made him even more confused, not knowing that an omnipresent Kaidou was like a half-fallen Sword of Damocles to Yamato.

”That truly sounds dangerous, but how do you plan to return? Ride a penguin or cycle? I hear there’s a bike shop on the island, I don’t have any ships available now, who knew you’d be out without one.”

”The ship will arrive shortly, they’re on their way. What about your penguin? My ship is quite fast.”

”Relax, despite Camel’s appearance, it’s quite swift; it’s a hardcore one in this regard.”

Kuzan’s penguin looked lethargic, even snorting a big snot bubble when asleep, yet it disliked cute stereotypes, preferring the hardcore macho image.

Just as Yamato mentioned, not long after, Speed and the others sailed the Pokemon Ship to the island. Seeing Kuzan and Yamato board together, their first reaction was tension, then relief.

Whatever their young lady did was reasonable to them.

...

The Pokemon Ship and Kuzan’s Camel engaged in a race, a boat and a penguin dashed across the sea, gradually approaching Wano Kuni.

After some time, they arrived at the heartland of the Hundred Beasts, and the Pokemon Ship began docking for supplies; Kuzan noticed changes around during this time.

While there were fires of war at the perimeter, the heartland was peaceful, no different than towns where Navy bases were stationed.

While Kuzan was chatting with a worker carrying fruits, he suddenly heard a furious shout in his ear.

”Aokiji?! You bastard, put your hands up for me! Don’t move!”

Queen abruptly appeared before Kuzan, the weapons on his body all activated, multiple laser cannons locked onto Kuzan’s head.

”Has my outside affairs been discovered again? You Navy bunch are really haunting; dare to come here, get ready to taste my power!”

Queen’s weapons began charging, completing the preparation in mere seconds.
