Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 1086: Chapter 1075: The Extraction Plan and Sirfetch’d at the Gym

Currently, there are still Navy surveillance ships on the outskirts of Wano Kuni waters. The Hundred Beasts can’t manage them, but rather don’t want to, because dismantling one batch means another will soon arrive. At least this current group of surveillance ships knows not to annoy anyone, so they continue to stay in those waters.

In any case, they can’t really monitor anything, at most they can only signal when Kaidou is out.

The situation with undercover agents is different yet somewhat similar.

What unknown undercover agents might do is uncertain, but known undercover agents can control the intelligence they’re aware of, guiding the opposition along one’s preferred path.

To complete their mission, undercover agents might even work more loyally, sometimes achieving cooperation from the original force, which is quite convenient in a certain sense.

”Do you have any specific plans?”

”No, you just make arrangements as you see fit. Whenever you think they’re no longer valuable or become an eyesore, just deal with them.”

”Yes, I understand.”

Queen has already thought of a series of plans to extract the remaining value from the other party, but the main purpose isn’t to shirk responsibility.

He has been carrying the burden for so many years that he has gotten used to it.

The burden is heavy, but it has also brought reputation. According to intelligence Queen collected from the Underworld, he has long become known as a genius scientist in the outside world.

Dropping the burden means losing this reputation, which would undoubtedly be quite painful for Queen, who loves to stand out.

With Hawkins to mitigate risks, Queen’s goal is no longer to shed burdens to stay safe but has evolved into enjoying benefits while mitigating risks.

After the briefing, Queen left Ghost Island and returned to his lab in Ringo, though he still felt slightly displeased along the way.

”Those bastards have polluted my last sanctuary.”

No Great Pirate Gang can ensure its subordinates are entirely clean; among outer forces, affiliated pirate groups, and vast territories, there are inevitably numerous informants.

The Hundred Beasts are no exception. Through a series of measures and equipment, and with Rotom’s assistance, Queen barely maintains Wano Kuni and Ghost Island in a clean state, thanks to the unique terrain of Wano Kuni.

Now, the appearance of Drake means Queen’s meticulously constructed comfort zone is ruined.

”Let me think about how to deal with this guy... Hey, Jack? Are you available to talk right now?”

Dialing Jack’s contact method again, this time it was Jack himself who answered the phone instead of an Alcremie.

”Very convenient, Brother Queen, do you have any instructions?”

”Keep that kid under you for now. Promote him, let him lead a team to attack Navy patrolling ships in the New World, and when the time is right, transfer him to the main island; I have other plans.”

”Yes, I understand.”

Jack’s attitude makes Queen feel comfortable; he is one of the few people in the high ranks who treats him with respect.

”By the way, don’t act too strangely, don’t let that guy sense anything wrong; we have plenty of time.”

”Please rest assured, Brother Queen.”

”Jack, you might have misunderstood something; my last sentence was for your Alcremie. You just continue as usual.”

”Ma~”

After getting a confirmed reply, Queen finally hung up the phone and walked back to his lab.

”Let me see, the Rumble Ball Q3.0 failed too; those who take it become extremely irritable.

This guy just so happens to be an Ancient type, so let him try the medicine when the time comes, hehehe. This way, there’s no need to worry about my own people having issues and being held accountable. I am surely a genius.”

Q is the form name Queen gave to the modified Rumble Ball. Initially, he thought it wouldn’t be that difficult, but as time passed and experiments proceeded, Queen realized he underestimated this thing.

Changing the wavelength of the Devil Fruit isn’t easy; he managed to create a potion capable of consuming a lot of stamina for overall frenzy, but the perfect version is still in experimentation.

The one Kaidou ate last time was absolutely not a successful example; if such a thing were distributed, Queen’s remaining years would probably become precarious.

For instance, if Kaidou got worked up and ate it again, or if Yamato inexplicably developed an interest and ate it.....

After imagining some unpleasant scenarios, Queen began planning for the future anew, occasionally letting out strange chuckles.

”See, that’s how easily Queen becomes full of himself. When he does, just splash some cold water to calm him down.”

Behind Queen, Omastar crawled up to Shaymin’s front, beginning to recount its life as a shell and its experiences with Queen.

”Back then, a single Water Gun could scare him; later, he developed an automatic rain-blocking device, making the effect frequency of Water Type Moves decline. This guy’s skin is tough, Spike Cannon hardly affects him.

Why not try using Air Blade; it will surely give him a different sensation.”

”Forget it, he seems to be working hard on planting flowers, so I won’t do that, Mi.”

Omastar’s mischievous intentions didn’t quite transfer to Shaymin; otherwise, Queen would inevitably encounter even more terrifying experiences.

The vibrancy from the prior banquet had diminished from Ghost Island, and all the high-level officials had departed, including King.

The change in Kozuki Hiyori’s attitude gave King more time to undertake other missions outside.

Nowadays, the boss of the Hundred Beasts is often seen riding a dragon who knows where, and Yamato has inherited her father’s habits; her location can only be sure when there’s an update.
