Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 1066: Chapter 1057: Seaside Racers, New Giant Soldier Pirates

After the reputation of the Hundred Beasts Fruit and Medicine Department spread, some of the medicines produced by Nightin were mass-produced and sold everywhere. The excellent efficacy meant the Hundred Beasts Fruit did not need to rely completely on berries to manufacture health and special effect medicines.

It also conveniently seized the market from other medicines. As a technical talent, Nightin’s speed in earning money was much faster than those few who relied on pirate bounties for a living.

This was real income received, without being skimmed by those intermediaries in the black market who exchanged bounty money for pirates from the Navy.

She also had considerable expenses over the years, but still managed to save half of her income.

”Now a lot of things are more convenient, thank you, Nightin, for being a big help.”

The vast majority of pirates earn through plundering, but to reduce trouble, when possible, they choose to purchase, especially when buying scarce items.

Breaking the rules means being blacklisted by the entire Underworld, truly leaving them isolated and helpless, and the forces backing some people are not easily provoked, problems solved with money aren’t problems at all.

”Yeah, now we can buy materials to build ships!”

”Sebastian! Your voice is too loud!”

Choosing Hive Island as the meeting point was due to its convenient transportation, as there are navigational routes for pirates from any force, the Eternal Pose is easy to get, and there’s no worry about the Navy.

Finding an arbitrary island makes acquiring the Eternal Pose too challenging, maybe unable to meet for a year and a half.

But the biggest drawback here is the other pirates; Hive Island has no rules, it’s a Paradise where pirates kill with impunity, showing wealth here only invites trouble.

”The funding problem is solved, everyone is already assembled, let’s leave here first.”

”Too late, Bingjack, those pirates have surrounded us.”

Surveying the approaching pirates, Gailam picked up his hammer, and Sebastian took two meteor hammers from under the table.

”It’s been a while, it’s been almost thirty years since we fought side by side.”

”Quick resolve, not knowing how many there are, can’t have any more problems before meeting Wald.”

”Then let me solve it, remember to hold your breath when I act.”

Seeing Bingjack had no intention of lingering here, Nightin took out a smoke bomb-like item from her bosom.

Items like the Rotom Phone had been left on Ghost Island, but she took some developed weapons, like this smoke bomb researched by Queen based on Dustox’s scales, which not only obstructs vision but also releases a large amount of hypnotic scales.

If inhaled accidentally, you’d fall asleep quickly.

Boom!

As Nightin pulled the smoke bomb’s ring, the Wald Pirates took the opportunity to break through the surrounding pirates and, with Sebastian’s assistance, progressed towards another destination.

...

Meanwhile, on another part of the Sea, someone was racing on the sea surface.

Ice Power froze a smooth path on the sea, continuously extending forward with the rolling wheels.

This was not Kuzan, and the wheels were not a bicycle, but a Cyclizar. 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚

Even the wheel’s rolling was an illusion; for regular Cyclizar, movement still relies on their own limbs, with the front and tail forming twin wheels allowing them to run more efficiently.

On the back of Cyclizar, Yamato wearing sunglasses was enjoying the pleasure of racing.

She was originally going to find Robin, but on the way, coincidentally met Tesoro’s Grand Tesoro, and borrowed a suitably sized Cyclizar.

As for this mode of movement, she learned it from Kuzan, for sheer speed it’s certainly not as fast as flying, but it has its unique charm.

Pah!

Cyclizar’s tail suddenly flicked towards the sea, sending a fish flying into the air and swallowing it whole.

No need for fuel, energy-saving and emission-reduction, can forage on their own, a speed of 120 kilometers per hour, a must-have tool for travel.

”A little to the left, Robin should be on the island ahead, hang in there, when we get there we can take a good rest.”

”Roar...”

Cyclizar shook its head and increased its speed, this species naturally loves running, living with humans since ancient times, this distance is nothing at all.

”Even if not tired, you should rest a bit; since you’re so energetic, full speed ahead!”

With a single-handed wave forward, an ice path directly led to the island ahead, Cyclizar began sprinting at full speed.

”Did something just... zoom past in front of us?”

On the nearby sea, a pirate lookout rubbed his eyes, seemingly saw something, but in a blink only ice chunks remained on the sea.

Questioning himself, he rubbed his eyes and handed the binoculars to his companion.

”Nope... better alert the Captain to be cautious, after all, this is the New World, all sorts of odd events happen.”

Yamato’s racing led to some non-serious consequences, but it had nothing to do with her at all.

...

”Robin, I’m back!”

”You’re not wrapped in bandages, looks like you’ve gotten stronger.”

”No, it’s just the wounds healed long ago, so I removed the bandages. When are we departing for Giant Country? I’ve prepared.”

”Roar~”

The landing Cyclizar stood up again, showing off its muscular lines, indicating Robin could also join the ride.

This was a large Cyclizar Yamato chose to fit herself, making it easy for Robin to ride.

”Plans changed, we might not go recently.”

”Did something happen?”

”There’s an event going on at Elbaf, temporarily forbidding outsiders from entering.

I confirmed with Saul, there really is an event, just that Saul miscalculated the date.”

Robin explained the new reason and searched for a more suitable destination on the map, but Yamato noticed something amiss.

”Wait, how did you know? We’re far from Giant Country, aren’t we?”

”I met some new friends here, they went hunting on the island, should be back soon.”

As they spoke, vibrations emanated from the island center, four men and one woman, five giants dragged a dinosaur from within.

”Who are they...”

”Elbaf’s new generation warriors, calling themselves the New Giant Soldier Pirates, recently left Elbaf, looking for a place to earn money and fight enemies.

You mentioned before, outside manpower’s quite tight, I think they’re suitable, after all, they’re of the Giant Race.”
