Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 30: Chapter 30: The Kindergarten Director’s Heart Awakens in Kaidou

She took out a small knife from her waist that was clearly an antique, then rolled over a few times to Kaidou’s side.

”Don’t come closer! If you come any closer, I’ll kill this guy!”

Shaina’s expression twitched several times, and Queen was so shocked that his cigar fell out of his mouth. They didn’t know what to say for a moment.

If Morgans were here, tomorrow’s news headlines might already be set, with his penchant for exaggerated descriptions possibly giving rise to titles like

”Mysterious young girl, a new star of a new era, even Kaidou is taken hostage.”

The size difference was vast, and her action of holding a small knife to Kaidou’s neck seemed rather comical with this disparity. Neither Queen nor Shaina took it seriously, as such a small knife couldn’t even pierce Kaidou’s skin.

Even if he was sleeping, it would be the same.

”Wasn’t it you and that pervert King keeping watch? How did she get here?”

”Just a little thief sneaking food. Wasn’t I watching? How can such a little girl pose any danger?”

”So, now what?”

”Who do you think is in danger now?”

Queen picked up his cigar, then threw it again, the scene was too shocking, and he held it the wrong way, burning his mouth.

Shaina was right, in this situation, Kaidou was definitely not in danger. He’s a creature referred to as the strongest, even a guillotine couldn’t harm him, let alone this small dagger.

And that’s what shocked Queen. Although not everyone could recognize Kaidou’s identity, even by his stature, he wasn’t a good target. Where did this kid get such courage?

”Hey, hey, hey, don’t ignore me, I’ll really do it!”

”Huh? What’s happening? Did I grow taller?”

She had been waving the dagger at Queen and Shaina, but suddenly felt like she had gained quite a bit of height. She certainly didn’t grow out of thin air; it was because Kaidou had woken up.

Sitting up, Kaidou directly lifted her, which is why she felt taller.

”Kid, are you trying to take me hostage?”

”That’s right, big brother Kaidou, this little girl actually wants to take you hostage. Should we just kill her?” Among them, Queen is the least concerned about others’ lives; in his view, the life of a small kid means nothing.

This statement also frightened the little girl, who frantically waved the dagger in her hand, stabbing at Kaidou’s arm, and then the knife broke...

Looking at the broken dagger in her hand, she was confused for a moment, why would someone’s skin be tougher than steel?

”What kind of monster is this... Am I going to die... No, I just escaped from Lord Lantern’s stomach!”

However, Kaidou didn’t make a move; the little girl’s action seemed to have piqued his interest.

”Hmm, quite an interesting kid, sadly too weak. Hey, how about coming aboard my ship as an intern? With courage like yours, you’ll definitely amount to something in the future.”

It’s well-known that Kaidou has many hobbies, one of which is recruiting various subordinates. These subordinates are not only the strong individuals he takes a liking to but also the children he recognizes.

Whether for talent, identity, or character, the new generation of the Hundred Beast Pirates was almost entirely brought back by Kaidou.

Though he is generous with those willing to join him, he’s not foolish. Looking at the future Hundred Beast Pirates, the Three Disasters along with the Flying Six, except for the veteran Queen and King, most were raised since childhood by him. These are the real core of the Hundred Beast Corps.

Many of the children were brought back by him from various places. Compared to Big Mom’s children, whom she bore herself, and Whitebeard’s love for adopting sons, Kaidou can be called the principal of the largest kindergarten in the New World.

The little girl was weak, unable to even hurt his skin, but he admired her fearless spirit. To dare take him hostage, then stab him with a knife, and after the knife broke, even courageously bite him, that survival instinct made him very satisfied.

Without the heart of a strong person, it’s impossible to become strong. One can be timid or cowardly usually, but those who dare to step forward at critical moments are the true strong ones.

Even if they possess the luck Haki, it’s another matter, like Clown Buggy, the only one on the sea who doesn’t give face to Red Hair, yet has a smooth career.

”Alright, I’ll join you.”

”Tsk, who wants to join you? I hate pirates the most. I’ll ride Elizabeth and escape when you’re not paying attention.”

These were her thoughts, but the problem was, she said them out loud.

She seemed like just a child, but she was actually over 150 years old. Embedded in her ring was a small piece of rare metal called ”Pure Gold”, hailed as a precious metal capable of buying the entire world.

Its effect is to halt the body’s aging, which is why she has lived so long.

However, having lived in the belly of Sea Kings for over a century without seeing other living people, with only a lizard accompanying her, she developed a bad habit of talking to herself.

She thought Kaidou would be furious, but he wasn’t. Instead, he continued to laugh.

”If you’ve got the guts, give escaping a try, but if I catch you, it’ll be painful. What’s your name, kid?”

”Olga, Myskina Olga.”

”I’m called Kaidou, your future captain’s name, remember it.”

When Arceus’s experiment ended, and he returned here, he found an additional person and a lizard inexplicably.

Then Shaina briefly explained to Arceus what had happened last night, and thereafter dragged Olga by the ear to urge some matters. Being the only female on the ship, Kaidou entrusted Olga to Shaina.

However, Olga was still somewhat resistant to being taken aboard by Kaidou. She once had a happy family, but due to the allure of Pure Gold, a large number of pirates stormed the island and killed her mother, which is why she loathes pirates.

Pure Gold had long vanished from the world, but her father, using remaining documents, recreated Pure Gold to slow the spread of a virus in her body, enabling her survival. Unexpectedly, it attracted pirates, resulting in his wife’s death.

Subsequently, Pure Gold attracted a gigantic Sea King, swallowing the entire island. Her father didn’t tell her about this incident, which left her resenting her father for over a century.

If he hadn’t produced Pure Gold, none of this would have happened.

She initially planned to find a chance to escape, but Elizabeth faltered instead; upon seeing Arceus, it lay on the ground showing submission, not wanting to leave here at all.

Leaning near the ship’s railing, Olga looked around, contemplating how to escape. Queen had also organized his power systems, preparing to set sail to find John.

But just before the ship set sail, a man wearing a ragged dinosaur costume floated over from the sea.
