Is It Weird for a Guy to Apply to a Witch School?

Chapter 481: Unlucky Sea Race Academy

Beast academies gather in packs, huddle for warmth, the strong prey on the weak, the fittest survive.

Perhaps this is the scene I saw at the beast academies.

After a semester of study... no, for the beast academies, I would rather call it ”domestication.”

After a semester of domestication, the academies of the beast academies have domesticated their students into beasts that belong to a group.

Their bestiality has been gradually stimulated, and their instinct to admire the strong prevents them from having any rebellious thoughts against the strong.

Of course, in this respect, there is a considerable difference between different beast academies.

If I put myself in their shoes, this change is unacceptable to me.

However... I did not delve into this, because it was meaningless.

According to most people, this is a small price to pay for gaining power.

What I am more curious about is the power system mastered by the beast academies.

I saw in it a deep shadow of the body cultivation power system, but it was not pure body cultivation, but a special power system created by combining their own racial characteristics.

Of course, not all beast academies have this body cultivation-derived power system.

For example, the Charming Fox Academy has a special spiritual power illusion system as its main system.

During this period, I also deliberately went to Cute Cat Academy to see Yu Mengrui, the cat girl, the child of destiny who had treated me to cat food.

But at this moment, she could no longer recognize me.

Or rather, most of the students from other academies who had a deep impression of me could no longer recognize me.

The news of my transformation had not spread to other academies.

Yu Mengrui seemed to have changed a lot too.

Compared to her previous innocence and timidity, she had become much colder now and had become a leader in the Cat-person Academy.

The innocence in her eyes was gone.

When she saw me, she would also greet me, her tone carrying a sycophantic attitude towards a teacher.

After all, the Witch Academy was much larger than their Cat-person Academy.

This was an instinctive fear and sycophancy towards the strong.

Compared to the previous cat-eared girl Yu Mengrui, I would rather call her a cat-person now.

Suddenly, I realized that if a race was not even strong enough, its race itself could not even be decorated with adjectives like cute and adorable, because once it was associated with it, it would bring disaster.

The witches of the Witch Academy can love beauty, be mavericks, enchant all living beings, be cute and playful.

This is the absolute strength that gives the witches the confidence to pursue these additional personal aesthetics.

But the Cat-person Academy... they cultivate beasts and the strong, not pets.

Although I also hope that the Cat-person Academy can be jokingly called Mengmao Academy and cultivate cute things, my personal thoughts cannot change all this.

Perhaps... there is no need to force anything.

I just silently recorded Yu Mengrui’s destiny fluctuations and observed data, letting it become a part of my perfected Destiny Gazing Technique.

The Cat-person Academy’s opening was not very smooth, because there was another academy on their island.

Late at night, not many people slept this night.

Because the dim environment would make the surroundings dangerous.

And the islands where the surrounding monsters were not cleared during the day would become extremely dangerous at night.

Previously, during the day, everyone was in a strange place they had just arrived at, wary of the dangers from the outside and the sky, and their spirits were in a tense state.

At this moment, the bonfires lit at night and the gathered crowd made the night a time for peaceful rest.

After exploring the nearby terrain thoroughly, most academies tacitly chose to think and discuss how to reach the main island at night when there was ample time.

For this problem, the Sea Race and the Angels did not seem to think it was a difficult problem.

After all, one was a natural darling of the sea, and the other was an angel who ruled the sky.

The limitations of mere terrain were not a problem for them.

At first, I thought that the Sea Race would be the first academy to reach the main island.

After all, from my several contacts with the Sea Race, they were quite reckless.

And that Aqier from the Holy Angel Academy, who had left a deep impression on me, gave me a very steady feeling.

He probably wouldn’t just rush to the main island from the start.

But everything seemed to be the opposite of my expectations.

The Sea Race Academy initially encountered a group of sea beasts and were forced back to the reef.

Now, affected by the tide, the reef at night was submerged under the sea, and they were on guard against the arrival of danger at any time.

Those sea beasts were also the handiwork of those Transcendent Wizards from the Wizard Academy.

Together with the Grand Sorcery of the False World Space, it could be said that they were full of hostility towards the Sea Race.

The protection and blessings of the sea that the Sea Race received could not make those sea beasts treat them as nothing.

But they initially rushed into the group of sea beasts relying on their blessings.

With just one encounter, they suffered heavy casualties.

The scent of blood from the fleeing Sea Race candidates also attracted those sea beasts to the main force of the Sea Race.

It can be said that the Sea Race fully showed me what it means to not be afraid of a god-like opponent, but to be afraid of a pig-like teammate.

The fear of death had been haunting the Sea Race Academy from the very beginning of the joint exam.

The severed limbs torn by the sea beasts stained the sea red, and the smell of blood filled their mouths and noses, bringing extremely deep psychological trauma to many ordinary Sea Race students.

Unfortunately, by the time I arrived, it was almost over.

I learned about the situation from the Sea Race’s Patrollers.

The Patrollers were the equivalent of teaching assistants in the Sea Race Academy, and they were also potential candidates for advancing to the Transcendent level.

But what I was curious about was, since everyone had a similar profession as a teaching assistant, why did the names of the teaching assistants in other academies have such high characteristics...

Aren’t we all Transcendent Academies?

But complaining was one thing, the fun still had to be watched.

And after contacting the Patrollers here, I realized that not every academy sent three or four teaching assistants.

For example, the Sea Race had nearly ten Patrollers.

After recognizing my identity from the Witch Academy, the other party subconsciously wanted to avoid me, which was a completely different attitude from that guy from the Elf Academy.

But I didn’t let him go just like that.

In the end, under my ”repeated insistence,” he told me the whole story.

But I could also hear that the other party seemed to have concealed some things.

I have to say, as Sea Race Patrollers, seeing their own academy and affiliated academy being so weak, they also felt very embarrassed.

In the end, they had to see me off all the way, as if I were their plague god.

And I stayed here for so long naturally had my own considerations, because... such cases of self-destruction and damage to one’s own destiny are really too rare!

They thought they had sent me away with kind words, but in fact, I had left satisfied after collecting the data.

As for whether I was worried about whether these Patrollers would secretly help these Sea Race students... I didn’t think there was anything to worry about, because they must have acted.

After leaving the sea area where the Sea Race was located, I looked around and confirmed that it was not being broadcast live before taking out a semi-transparent Leaf of Knowledge.

I confirmed that there was no live broadcast around, not because I was afraid of this ability of mine leaking, but because I didn’t want to leak the next explosive scene at this time.

With a wave of my hand, the Leaf of Knowledge turned into a scene and appeared in front of me.

But the scene was a bit distorted.

This was an extended use of my Earth Vein Appraisal Spell that I came up with after an attempt.

Earth Vein Information records information, scenes... sounds... these are all information.

I was naturally unwilling to just look at the organized text.

Scenes, sounds, and other things could more intuitively show what I wanted.

But obviously, because I hadn’t perfected this extended spell, the scene was a bit distorted.

But this did not prevent me from appreciating the process I had missed.

At this moment, the information obtained from the appraisal of that Patroller reproduced the scene at that time.

It can be said that after witnessing the scene at that time with my own eyes, I found that it was far more tragic than what that Patroller had told me.

The other party was still too modest in their description.

And... several of these Patrollers directly violated the rules and helped out, allowing many candidates to ”survive.”

For this, they were directly recorded by the live broadcast footage and counted as a collective violation once.

They actually didn’t reveal such important information to me. But on second thought... I didn’t expect them to dare to violate the rules so blatantly.

It could be considered... a good start for this joint exam.

But it was a bit of a pity that this footage was not of great value.

I had originally thought of reporting them at some critical moment, but I didn’t expect them to be directly recorded for a violation.

They were really disappointing...

But these things can’t be forced.

It’s really satisfying to see others fall, but you can’t fall yourself.

I wonder how the Witch Academy is doing, and I wonder how the Witch Academy plans to reach the main island.

The Sea Race’s plan to go to the main island had already failed.

After suffering such a heavy blow, what they wanted most now was to get through tonight safely and make plans tomorrow.

As for those beast academies, they had not yet walked out of the shadow of internal consumption.

As for the other islands, I hadn’t had time to go yet, only had time to take a quick look.

After all, the entire Bobapus Archipelago was a bit too big.

The surrounding affiliated islands were even further apart.

The entire map was completely incomparable to the map we had in the Dream State Exchange Competition.

Just as I was about to go back and see how the Witch Academy was doing, I suddenly felt a summoning sensation.

”Mhm?”

I was a little surprised, because the person who summoned me was marked as Liffia.

Although I had said before that I would put her on my blacklist, I was also very curious about what she wanted at this time.

It was already late at night, and in a little while, the sun’s rays would rise from the sea level.

But who let me be free right now?

I hope she is in the Witch Academy’s place, and not summoning me to some strange place to be a shield.

She had said before that she was going to the elves’ place.

She had summoned me several times in the middle, but I had ignored her.

I don’t know what information she had obtained from there, and she didn’t post it in our four-person teaching assistant group.

It was precisely because Liffia said she was going there that I did not go to the elves’ island.

Following the spell’s summons, my figure completely disappeared from the sea.

Meanwhile, on the border of the main island.

”You birdmen, you violated the rules, do you understand? Don’t think you didn’t just because you did it secretly!”

Liffia said, angrily pointing at this group of Holy Angels.

”Miss Witch, you need evidence to accuse our Holy Angel Academy. We relied on our own racial advantage to land on the main island first, which was also completed under the witness of the live broadcast.”

Facing Liffia’s accusation, that Holy Angel showed no embarrassment under his holy light, as if they had never done this.

At this moment, the area where the Holy Angels were located was shrouded in holy light.

Before dawn, their own light illuminated this area, as if to replace the rising sun.

”Do you think I’m an idiot? The resource points on the main island near the edge are just those few. None of them are directly opposite your Holy Angel Academy. You took a big detour, going the long way around, and just happened to raid the area with the fewest monsters, and just happened to occupy a resource point on the main island. Do you think I’m a fool?”

Liffia still refused to give up.

Although she really couldn’t produce any evidence, such an obvious trick definitely had a big problem.

And... just watching the other party land on the island like this, she was really unwilling.

She really wanted to teach them a lesson, but she couldn’t be reckless anymore.

”This can only mean that the Holy Light protects every believer who believes in the Holy Light. Do not tarnish the purity of the Holy Light with your dirty thoughts.”

”Purity my ass, how can you say such disgusting words?”

At this moment, Liffia had completely lost her previous image.

She was really disgusted by this group of Holy Angels.

How did she not find these guys so disgusting before?

”Leave now, witch. It’s not good for either of us to continue like this...”

”No, I have plenty of time to waste with you.”

”If you are still going to obstruct our academy’s candidates from advancing here, we will take necessary measures. I must remind you that it is a fact that the Holy Angel Academy is temporarily leading, and it cannot be changed. If you attack our academy’s candidates, then we are not to be trifled with either.”

”You... alright, relying on numbers, right? As if I don’t know how to call for backup.”

Liffia looked at the two Holy Angel Preaching Angels protecting here, and also felt a lot of pressure.

And Liffia could feel that the other party’s life level was faintly more terrifying than hers.

She might not be able to stir up trouble here alone.

Then, she took out her phone and resentfully sent a request for help in the group, hoping that Lin Yi or Edaline was nearby.

Then she felt it was not enough and took out a business card from her body.

”Xiao Han, don’t blame me. They have two people, I’m alone. It’s good to have someone with me... you just need to come over and help me scold them...”

Liffia muttered, and triggered the summoning ritual on the business card.

Instantly, the summoning ritual shone brightly, and the flashing light immediately made the two Holy Angels on high alert, in case the other party launched a sneak attack at any time.

It was not until a figure appeared in the summoning ritual that they realized that this seemed to be a spell to summon others.

”Liffia, why did you summon me... hmm?”

At this moment, as I emerged from the summoning ritual, I was about to ask Liffia some questions, but before I could finish, I was attracted by the light behind me.

After all, before being summoned, the place I was in was a dark sea.

Now, the situation was like broad daylight, which indeed brought a huge contrast.

”Xiao Han, quickly help me scold them! With the momentum you had when you scolded that elf. Those two guys violated the rules and provided their academy’s students with information about the main island, and maybe even instructed them to attack the main island and leaked information about the resource points!”

Liffia was a little surprised to see that I responded to the summons with just one try.

You know, when she went to the elves’ place, she had tried to summon me, but Xiao Han completely ignored her.

”Then report them,” I said subconsciously, and then turned to look at the situation behind me.

”Wait, this is the main island? And... Holy Angels?”

”If I had evidence, I would have reported them. Xiao Han, help me scold them. Let me tell you, they are really too much...”

”Stop.”

I waved my hand to stop Liffia’s string of complaint-like words.

But I understood one thing: Liffia had found that the other party had violated the rules but had no evidence.

But... wasn’t this hitting my muzzle?

So I subconsciously gave the other party an Earth Vein Information Appraisal Spell.

The rest was... to stall for time.

As soon as I grasped the other party’s evidence, I would report them directly.

After doing all this in an instant, my gaze turned to the students of the Holy Angel Academy, and I quickly understood the current situation.

The main island had already been seized by the other party...

”Miss Witch, you seem to be much easier to talk to than this unreasonable witch. We hope you can take her away from here as soon as possible to prevent her from doing anything drastic. It’s not good for either of us.”

At this moment, one of the Preaching Angels said to me.

”We are all patrolling teachers. It is our duty to report violations, and we also have the right to inspect the situation of your school’s candidates. If you have nothing to hide, you should not be afraid at all. Or are you just all talk, and you play even dirtier in private?”

I turned to face that Holy Angel and responded directly.
