Is It Weird for a Guy to Apply to a Witch School?

Chapter 464: New Observation Results of Destiny

“How interesting.”

I casually fiddled with the faint threads in front of me, but they did not move according to my will.

Yet, I continued to enjoy myself.

The formation of the Great Tree of Knowledge made my control over my abilities even more terrifying.

I was contemplating whether to use the Spellbook Shelf Spellbook as a framework prototype for the derivative ideas of the Great Tree of Knowledge.

After all, after severing the Earth Vein Chains, without them, I myself could not bear the Magic Power Sources and Spellbooks.

The bearing of the Magic Power Sources was solved by the inherent talent of my Self-generating Magic Power physique, and the Spellbooks were all collected by the Spellbook Shelf.

However, the Spellbook Shelf Spellbook itself was controlled by external force with the Academy Head’s help.

But now, in comparison, the Spellbook Shelf Spellbook was far inferior to the Great Tree of Knowledge.

The Great Tree of Knowledge had transformed from a tool into a part of my own ability, effectively becoming a completely mastered Spellbook.

If the Great Tree of Knowledge could use the characteristic of collecting Spellbooks as a derivative idea, my control over other Spellbooks would also greatly increase.

Furthermore… the Spellbook Shelf Spellbook was also a ”promise” Teacher Ji Niang once made to me.

Teacher Ji Niang told me that its derivative spell was very valuable.

So, inversely, using its characteristics as a derivative framework for a more powerful Spellbook, wouldn’t that be similar?

Anyway, I thought this possibility was worth a try.

But the premise of trying was to thoroughly understand this Spellbook.

Otherwise, if I completely broke this Spellbook, I honestly didn’t know if Teacher Ji Niang had a second one.

However, these matters were not urgent and were only temporarily added to my plan list.

During these two days of recuperation, besides testing the spell effects of the Great Tree of Knowledge, I was also experimenting with the Spirit Vision talent.

I could feel that my mastery of this talent had improved further.

After all, directly confronting the [Transcendent Knowledge] in the Sea of Consciousness at the time, even with the Tree of Knowledge as my backing, the impact of the information still caused me immense stimulation.

I both loved and hated the talent of Spirit Vision.

I loved the convenience it brought me, and hated the miserable childhood it gave me.

What’s more, there’s a barrier: it is only a bestowed talent.

It will ultimately only be a tool, and will not become a part of my abilities like a Spellbook might.

In fact, it’s a replaceable tool.

So, from the moment I realized its value until now, all I’ve thought about is how to utilize it, hold onto it, and even use its convenience to improve myself, eventually reaching a point where I can disregard it.

But it has been intertwined with my cognition since birth.

Spirit Vision has permeated every aspect of my life.

In fact, if I weren’t a transmigator, I might not be able to distinguish between the world seen through Spirit Vision and the normal world.

After undergoing the forced baptism of [Transcendent Knowledge], I now have a deeper mastery of the Spirit Vision talent.

If the upper limit of my Spirit Vision is the Floating World level, then I have already crossed the mountain of ”Foresight,” ascended the peak of ”Imaging,” and am approaching the ”Unknown” level of Spirit Vision.

My previous Floating World Spirit Vision was like a castle in the air; my current Spirit Vision is already the most powerful weapon in my hand.

If I conquer the mountain of the ”Unknown” level and cross the threshold of the ”Madness Threshold,” then I will completely grasp Innate Spirit Vision firmly in my hand, becoming an aid for me to glimpse True Time and advance to the Transcendent Realm.

It all seemed so far away, yet I also felt it was within reach, because I knew that once I set a goal, the distance to achieving it was only the distance of reaching out and grasping it.

Just like now, I wasn’t sure if it was an illusion, but if my past self saw the threads of Destiny as a specific manipulator of the Script, appearing on the shallow layer of True Time, then when I looked deeper, I could find that the power of Destiny was ubiquitous.

It might not be threads; it could also be an invisible dark hand, subtly pushing and promoting everything.

And I understood even more the deeper meaning of being involuntarily drawn into the Script.

I once naively thought that by staying away from the whirlpool of the Child of Destiny, I could avoid being affected.

But I was wrong.

The freedom I perceived and the choices I made were actually all influenced by the propulsion of Destiny.

I now understood what the Academy Head meant by the unreasonable driving force of Destiny.

Perhaps this is another interpretation of ”when luck comes, heaven and earth share the power,” but there is also a second half to that saying: ”when luck leaves, heroes lose their freedom.”

How similar is this to the World Will cursing one for losing the status of a Child of Destiny?

No story will describe the mundane daily life of the protagonist afterward.

If Tan Han became the final protagonist, then what next?

I didn’t dwell on it, because it wasn’t something I should worry about.

At this moment, I was observing and manipulating the Destiny around me with Spirit Vision.

If this Destiny were the shallow layer of Destiny I had seen in the past, my Mental Power might be able to interfere with it.

But now, I was seeing the deeper layer of Destiny in True Time.

I couldn’t reach it with either my hand or Mental Power; I could only observe.

Perhaps… after advancing to Transcendent, when my real sense of touch reaches a level similar to my Spirit Vision, I might be able to touch it?

It was truly hard to imagine what that scene would be like.

Perhaps that was the fundamental source of a powerful Transcendent Witch’s ability to manipulate the Script.

And I was merely an observer, or even an participant, who could see but not touch, merely watching myself being unable to control my own actions.

Fortunately, my Earth Vein Chains had been severed, and Destiny’s push on me was far less than before.

Only through such comparison did I understand what freedom was.

Perhaps this was freedom: clearly seeing external interference on oneself, and being able to make one’s own desired decisions based on one’s own will.

Just like now, I was actively searching for the other party by following Destiny, wondering if there would be an encounter.

My main goal, actually, was to see if I could find a bit of entertainment.

Of course, I was not working in vain.

Since the Script cannot be escaped, as long as I am in the Main World, and before I advance to a Transcendent Witch and leave, I will be in this kind of whirlpool.

So, I am naturally very interested in this unavoidable concept.

This change in me, from an unknown, instinctive aversion and fear to acceptance and curiosity after understanding, proves that people cannot forever fear the unknown, unless they wish to remain perpetually stagnant.

Similarly, I was also trying to find patterns within this.

I was summarizing whether this ubiquitous Destiny propulsion, in a Script with many Children of Destiny, represents a particular Child of Destiny.

And whether the contention between Children of Destiny also represents a contention between Destinies, and whether the actions of Children of Destiny are merely the outward manifestation of Destiny’s contention.

I thought this was highly probable.

And I made my first summary.

The largest and most complex and restricted part of the ubiquitous Destiny around me represented Tan Han.

It reflected Tan Han’s current situation and predicament.

She was the most watched Child of Destiny in the Witch Academy, but recently she had been betrayed by her own supporters.

When the reflection of Destiny correlated with Tan Han’s actual situation, I found that, if possible, I wouldn’t even need to personally understand the actual struggles of the Children of Destiny to know their loves and hatreds.

Unconsciously, I found that I seemed to be able to become a… fortune-telling charlatan?

What a wondrous ability.

But this was also an application of power and existing rules and patterns, falling within my realm of understanding.

I realized that everything I could do now was unimaginable to me when I was an ordinary person.

But after truly achieving it, I found it to be nothing special.

Cognitive improvement can truly change a person, and the role power plays in this process, in my evaluation, is ”not very useful, but indispensable.”

The improvement of cognition is the true improvement.

And the improvement of cognition is not simply understanding unknown things and concepts, just like the things Teacher Ji Niang and the Academy Head told me that I had never heard of.

The real improvement is to transform those things into one’s own understanding, forming one’s own cognition.

This is improvement.

This kind of improvement often happens in an unintentional moment, and it is also like a closed loop of education, where daily accumulation is also extremely important.

Unconsciously, I arrived at a library.

Looking at this place that was so familiar to me, I was quite surprised.

I couldn’t help but become interested in the ”master” of this Destiny.

According to my analysis of Destiny, this person was secretly accumulating strength, proceeding steadily and cautiously, and also had a benefactor.

It was truly very unique.

Compared to Tan Han, who was mired in difficulties, she was like a clear stream.

However… this Destiny was also caught in a whirlpool, and the source was also her benefactor.

I was truly curious what kind of Child of Destiny would have such a Destiny manifestation.

Speaking of Children of Destiny in the Witch Academy, I should recognize quite a few of them.

But upon closer thought, there didn’t seem to be many.

The only ones I recognized in the Witch Academy were probably Tan Han, the poor Lucianne who was terribly tricked by the Wizard Academy, and Ninglan Qiuyue from Ninglan New City.

The rest left no impression.

Since even I had no impression, they were probably insignificant figures.

But upon closer thought, the Witch Academy had so many Children of Destiny, and basically every one of them ”fought” for it with their own strength, Tan Han included.

If Qiu Ruxin had not been in such a hurry to get to the Main World, she would probably also have become a Child of Destiny.

But it was unknown how long it would take for that Small World to merge with the Main World.

If Qiu Ruxin had truly insisted on becoming a Child of Destiny, her start would have been much later than others.

So, I completely understood and approved of Qiu Ruxin’s choice.

However, after Big Sis Bai took Qiu Ruxin away, I hadn’t seen her since.

After all, she hadn’t left any contact information, and I was constantly absent from class and didn’t participate in gatherings with peers.

She probably had no way to find me.

Needless to say, this was most likely Big Sis Bai’s doing, but I had no objections.

Entering the library, I followed the guidance of Destiny, passing through the sea of books.

I also casually picked up a few books from the bookshelves that interested me along the way.

I would register them later and take them with me.

After all, it was a rare trip to the library, so I naturally had to take some books back.

Although I could directly use the Earth Vein Information Appraisal Spell to record the contents of these books completely in a very short time, I now found that sometimes the feeling brought by personally reading a book was completely different from emotionlessly collecting knowledge in this manner.

Reading a book myself could bring me more emotional value and a sense of accomplishment, and it could also help pass the time, slowing down my life that would otherwise unconsciously speed up.

Similarly, reading is also a way to cultivate one’s character.

Since there are so many benefits, why shouldn’t I do it?

Just as I carried this stack of books through the bookshelves, I saw a familiar figure in a reading area in the distance.

It was Lucianne.

Hmm Not particularly familiar.

My deepest impression of her was probably… her self-righteous scolding of me in the Fool’s Village Secret Realm?

After that, there was no news of her. It seemed she had learned to restrain herself.

As I approached, I noticed a senior next to her.

The Magic Power Sources and Spellbooks within her body demonstrated the huge gap between her and the newcomers.

I didn’t recognize her, but that didn’t stop me from making an educated guess.

This person… must be Lucianne’s ”benefactor.”

Seeing Lucianne meekly deferring to this senior, appearing like a diligent student, it was impossible to connect her to the rebellious male wizard she once was.

Indeed, Witchification can cure any obstinacy.

Just as I approached, intending to say hello with a mind to find some entertainment, the senior noticed me first.

She had initially just glanced up instinctively, and was about to refocus her attention on Lucianne, when she suddenly froze.

Then she looked up at me in shock.

Even Lucianne, somewhat confused, looked up in the direction the senior was gazing.

When she saw my figure, she instinctively shivered.

After all, she remembered this figure vividly!

The person who had completely beaten her into submission during the Monthly Exam.

If it were just that, it wouldn’t be much, but when she learned that this was the Yang Yuehan she once looked down upon, her heart shattered!

She once believed that the rising new star genius had quickly fallen, thinking she had willingly degenerated.

But time and again, my actions proved her wrong.

What was more crucial was that I had completely ignored her existence from beginning to end.

Ignoring someone is the ultimate contempt, she knew this well, but she was powerless to do anything about it…

Thinking of this, she instinctively shrank back towards the senior beside her, but the senior next to her immediately removed the Soundproof Spell between them, and even stood up, speaking in an enthusiastic tone.

“Is this Miss Yang Yuehan? My name is Daphne. I’m very pleased to meet you here.”

“Senior, you can just call me junior. I just happened to see someone familiar here and came over to say hello. I hope you don’t mind.”

I said with a smile, holding the stack of books in my arms.

I hadn’t expected this senior to recognize me, and… to be so exceptionally polite?

She even used the honorific ”you” when addressing me.
