Is It Weird for a Guy to Apply to a Witch School?

Chapter 477: The Multi-School Joint Final Assessment Practical Combat Test Begins

Today was the day of the multi-school joint exam.

Even just the first-year students numbered in the tens of thousands.

With such a large number, it was naturally unsuitable for the academy to gather them all to say something.

After all, in the eyes of the academy, this joint exam was just a final exam.

And as for mobilization, the counselors of each class had already spoken.

After all the students crossed that teleportation spell, they would arrive at their final examination hall for this semester.

Whether they were excited, expectant, or even afraid, nothing would change.

If they refused to participate in this joint exam, they would directly fail this practical test.

Of course, there were also those who gambled that the make-up exam content would be simpler and wanted to refuse directly.

But after hearing that those who missed the exam were not eligible for the make-up exam, they came back dejectedly.

At this moment, the girls were in full gear, waiting to enter the examination hall.

The attire of many of the students at this moment was also very uniform, which was the four-piece set from the Witch Academy.

Their quality was very good, and if well-maintained, they could accompany them for many years.

The price of alchemical items was a bit expensive, which was a bit too extravagant for these students.

But this was also an external force that could not be ignored, and it was within the allowed scope of this joint exam.

So, some cheap and powerful disposable alchemical items became the best choice.

Actually... because this joint exam was hyped up in the Witch Academy, after all, it was the first time that the senior sisters had seen two multi-academy exchange formats in one semester.

To help these junior sisters gain more face, many of the senior sisters, who were also alchemists, gathered together to provide ”firepower support” to the freshmen at the cost of materials.

Originally, they had planned to just give them away.

After all, the senior sisters who studied alchemy had a large number of experimental products and scrapped items that needed to be cleared out.

Although many of them were of poor quality or scrapped, they were not unusable.

But this large-scale giveaway was stopped by the academy.

This was considered an undue benefit for the freshmen and an act of disrupting the joint exam.

Then, they could only settle for the second-best option of selling them at cost.

So this led to a large number of students being fully armed.

As for why not use storage equipment?

Storage equipment is very expensive.

Even if you can afford some small storage equipment, once the storage equipment is full, can’t you just hold a few more in your hands?

And cheap, large-quantity, high-power alchemical items... are generally of the explosive, self-destructing, disposable type.

So this wave of Witch Academy students, although their own strength may not be that great, the terror they displayed gave people the illusion that they were going to plow through the Bobapus Archipelago.

It was precisely because of the ”selfless dedication” of these senior sisters that the numerous students had such confidence.

And as senior sisters, they were not without gains.

Don’t forget that this joint exam was being broadcast live!

They had fun to watch.

However, this time, the live broadcast couldn’t provide an independent perspective for everyone.

After all, the Witch Academy alone had over ten thousand people, and most of them chose to form groups, making the content too homogeneous.

So this time, the live broadcast did not have independent perspectives.

The smallest unit for the live broadcast was a team, as this joint exam encouraged group action.

As for lone wolves... unless they were very exciting, there might be a free-view live broadcast dedicated to them.

Other very ordinary ones... basically had no screen time.

In addition to these live broadcast perspectives, there were also other live broadcast rooms such as a god’s-eye view, a dedicated live broadcast for major events, and so on.

If any special situations occurred during the joint exam, the live broadcast would also follow up.

At this moment.

Looking at that huge teleportation channel, its existence was supported by a terrifying power that seemed to tear through space directly.

The pre-solidified rune ritual flickered with a transcendent brilliance, with intricate runes flowing on it.

This was the first time these girls had seen such a scene, seeing such a phenomenon up close, and they were about to throw themselves into it.

This feeling of expectation and apprehension lingered in their hearts, making them unable to resist.

”Class 1, prepare to enter the teleportation channel. The class president will take the lead. After entering the examination hall, temporarily stay in your class unit. After arriving at the examination hall, follow the arrangements of the teachers from our school. I will emphasize again, if you encounter any problems, your first choice is to seek help from the patrolling teachers of our school.”

Lina gave the final warning to Class 1, then her gaze fell on the general class president, Tan Han.

She didn’t say much, just nodded slightly, signaling them to go.

This time, entering the examination hall was done by class order, so it would take a lot of time for everyone to enter the Bobapus Archipelago.

Strictly speaking, today was not the official joint exam, as the preparation time was also included.

Following Tan Han’s command, the cohesion of Class 1 was unusually high.

But just thinking about it, it was understandable; their class president was Tan Han.

So this class was basically composed of members of the Tan Han Support Group.

Whether they were forced by the class atmosphere or were genuine admirers, they all identified themselves as such at this moment.

At this moment, this group of people showed no signs of falling behind, following Tan Han into the teleportation channel.

Their morale was high, like soldiers going to war.

But who could say that where they were going was not a battlefield?

When they passed through the spatial channel, the sense of separation from space flashed across their bodies.

As someone who had once possessed a Teleportation Spell, Tan Han naturally adapted to this feeling very quickly.

When they completely left the Witch Academy, her first reaction was that it was a bit hot here, even though it was still only morning.

Information about the Bobapus Archipelago quickly flashed through Tan Han’s mind.

This place was located in the tropics.

Although the sun was not at its strongest at this time, the slightly hot and dry air, mixed with the moisture from the sea, made the girls who had just arrived feel a sense of discomfort.

Many were even lamenting that they had forgotten to bring sunscreen.

And just after Tan Han led the entire class of students into the teleportation gate, her gaze also swept across the area, looking for the teachers from their school that Teacher Lina had mentioned, to go and follow their arrangements.

And her gaze quickly locked onto the four most conspicuous figures in the empty port.

Until she saw that familiar figure among them, she couldn’t help but her pupils constrict.

At this moment, here with me.

After seeing that the teleportation channel we had set up was finally open, the four of us teaching assistants waited here to receive them.

This wait had been a long one, and now it was finally over.

”Everyone candidates who have already entered, please do not linger in place. Make way for the candidates behind you. Do not block the main road.”

At this moment, Liffia took the lead and began to direct, her voice not loud but reaching everyone’s ears.

Hearing this request, Tan Han also reacted and directly cooperated.

After issuing the command, the entire class moved to clear the main road in front of the teleportation channel.

”Wow, this is a whole class, right? Is their discipline this good? Could it be that the entire class is sticking together?”

Liffia was very surprised to see such an efficient crowd, and she turned her head to ask us in a low voice.

She had originally thought that these people would scatter on the spot and become a disorganized mess.

But at this moment, time was tight, so I just gave a simple response, ”This should be Class 1. The class president of Class 1 is Tan Han. Her name itself is very influential.”

”Oh? So that’s Tan Han, very interesting,” Liffia said with a look of intense interest.

And I was silently roasting her on the side, this girl didn’t even recognize Tan Han... She was really carefree.

Does she usually not have contact with the outside world?

But complaining was one thing.

Soon, Liffia and the rest of us also started to move, guiding them to a farther place, as we needed to make way for the students behind.

And facing Tan Han’s gaze at this moment, I also responded with a smile.

After all, there was nothing more to say now.

The place we were currently at was not the main island, but one of the 13 permanent islands.

In this joint exam, the tacit understanding between the academies was that at the beginning, the students would not be directly dropped onto the main island.

The main island was the place with the most abundant resources, and it would also be the most dangerous place.

The entire Bobapus Archipelago was filled with dangerous monsters.

The main island was the most dangerous, but it would also be a place that all the academies’ candidates would fight for.

And the Bobapus Main Island also had a mountain range, and the highest one was a volcano, but it was a dormant volcano.

But the number of these affiliated islands was far less than the number of academies participating in this joint exam.

So, many academies had their own opponents to face after landing.

Perhaps they were enemies, or perhaps they were temporary allies.

At this moment, as class after class entered, Tan Han’s class, which was the first to enter, had already begun their planning.

From their performance, they were indeed using the class as a team, with Tan Han as the core for strategic arrangements.

And Tan Han’s choice was not wrong.

She planned to use the ”birth island” they were on as the rear base for the Witch Academy.

She also dispatched students who could ride flying brooms to scout this island.

They needed to confirm if there were candidates from other academies on their island, and what kind of monsters they would encounter.

If they encountered candidates from other academies, it would be very troublesome, and it would not be suitable for a direct conflict.

If not, then everything was fine, and they could directly start the next step of the plan, which was to start clearing out those monsters.

Tan Han had a very clear view of this joint exam and also had her own plans.

There were so many people in the Witch Academy, not everyone had passed the flying license test, and not everyone had a flying broom.

And spells that could help with flying, even transformation spells that allowed flying, were not many.

So the first strategic problem they faced was crossing the sea to the main island.

That was where the real beginning of this joint exam was.

Just staying on an affiliated island was not promising.

And after settling down simply, there were many problems they needed to solve: ”food, clothing, housing, and transportation.”

They had to at least solve the problem of food, drink, and a place to live.

But Tan Han didn’t feel it was very difficult.

They had brought a large amount of food and water, and even for sustainable development, they had small-scale seawater desalination alchemical items.

This whole set cost a lot of money.

For a place to live, they had tents, large tents, and they were enchanted large tents.

Because they were on an archipelago in the sea, the weather at sea could change at any time.

Who knew if a dark cloud floating over would start to strike with lightning and rain?

So a rainproof and windproof tent was a must.

I have to say that Tan Han’s vision was very far-sighted, because in the far distance, there was a very low dark cloud pressing down on the sea, flashing with lightning and heavy rain.

But fortunately, that cloud was not heading this way, but towards another affiliated island.

I silently mourned for the candidates on that island for a second.

Actually, I also had some understanding of this joint exam.

The three top-tier academies and the Witch Academy seemed to have a default of one academy per affiliated island.

There was no second academy on the island.

After all, although the other academies were weaker, they were not complete fools.

No one wanted to have an ugly end at the very beginning; that would be too shameful.

But with four islands already occupied, the remaining nine permanent affiliated islands could only be distributed among the remaining academies.

If they didn’t want to face students from other academies right away, there were still 8 reefs near the main island to choose from, as long as you could accept that this place would be submerged by seawater at night.

However, such reefs were very suitable for the Sea Race academy.

For them, this was like a fish in water.

So, in the competition for the main island, the Sea Race had the most obvious advantage.

But this also had to take into account factors such as the terrifying monsters and aggressive fish in the seawater, and even avoiding the high-temperature areas of submarine volcanoes.

Even if they were the first to land on the main island, they would also be the first to face the siege of the monsters on the main island.

So, although it seemed like an advantage, they actually couldn’t be so reckless.

Their best method was to bide their time and wait for other academies to land on the island and attract the firepower.

Then, they could use the convenience of the Sea Race to directly land on the island and occupy the resource points.

Of course, they could also use the convenience of sea travel to quickly establish cooperation with other academies on other islands.

And at this moment, the Witch Academy was still transporting students.

Except for the very beginning, when I still had the passion to command, and even when I saw my previous class, I would feel a sense of emotion, but after that, we all became numb.

There were over a hundred classes in one grade, this was no joke, and they couldn’t be settled near the teleportation channel.

And just as the four of us in the teaching assistant team were mechanically pointing the way for the entering class groups, I suddenly noticed a huge black shadow floating in the sky in the distance.

And I soon saw clearly what it was.

Was that the Aphrodite Forest Elves’ Floating Tree of Life?

I had forgotten a bit.

During the academy exchange competition, those elves came down from it.

Now, are they using the same method to transport students?

Wouldn’t the efficiency be too low?

But I also turned back and didn’t pay any more attention to it.

Low efficiency was their choice.

Compared to caring about this, I was more concerned that Aphrodite Academy, one of the three top-tier academies, was so close to the Witch Academy’s island.

You know, we teaching assistants had come to the Bobapus Archipelago a day in advance to scout the area.

It was also to familiarize ourselves with the method of traversing the Grand Sorcery of the False World Space.

After all, if students actively applied to be eliminated, we would also need to guide them.

And during this time, I had also been to other islands and had contact with the teaching assistants from other academies, such as the members of the Mother God’s Guard from Aphrodite Academy.

I could clearly feel the strong pressure from them.

It was a terrifying aura that was almost tangible, brought about by their absolute strength.

It really scared me.

Unsurprisingly, I didn’t get to talk to them.

Now, I didn’t expect them to choose a place so close to us.

Weren’t they afraid that the witches would go and attack their elves first instead of going to the main island?

And at this moment, outside.

The live broadcast of this multi-school joint final practical combat test had also begun.

The live broadcast footage, led by the Witch Academy, was now also being broadcast to other Transcendent Academies.

And in the Witch Academy, basically any senior sister with free time would not miss this grand event!

Among them, many senior sisters were hoping to see how many students from other academies their alchemical bombs would kill.

They couldn’t refuse this kind of fun, alright?

They even wished that this damn live broadcast had a tipping function, but even if the Witch Academy wanted to, they probably couldn’t implement it.
