Is It Weird for a Guy to Apply to a Witch School?

Chapter 243: Leaving the Competition

“Big Sis Tan Han? Huh? How are you?!”

“So big… isn’t this sword the one from the Fallen Land?”

“What just happened? Big Sis Xiao Han… I saw on the rankings, why did Big Sis Xiao Han withdraw from the competition?”

“I’m fine…”

Tan Han shook her head as she got up, standing with Minian’s support.

That strike with the ignited sword tip had directly and heavily damaged her transformation effect, destroying the spell in the most violent way.

But that strike hadn’t hit her real body, which was the truly monstrous aspect of transformation spells.

Its life-saving ability was very strong.

“I… had a fight with Xiao Han.”

“Huh, Big Sis Xiao Han fought with you again?”

“I was the one who proposed it,” Tan Han said, shaking her head.

“So… who won?”

“I don’t know. That Xiao Han… she always does things unexpectedly. Don’t just stand there. You guys can clean up the rest. The score… aren’t you guys still lacking points? There should still be some of them left now.”

“But, Big Sis Tan Han, aren’t you going? You’re just a few points away from Big Sis Xiao Han’s first place…”

“You, you, stop asking. Big Sis Tan Han must have her own considerations for this kind of thing.”

“Just go when I tell you to. Don’t dawdle,” Tan Han said, feigning anger.

“Yes, yes, yes Now it’s our time to shine!”

Watching them leave, Tan Han finally let out a sigh of relief.

She turned and went to the greatsword behind her.

Even she hadn’t expected Xiao Han to mark this greatsword again when she went to the ruins of the Wizard Tower.

But anything that could be used would be used, which indeed fit Xiao Han’s character.

She just hadn’t expected this blow to be used on her.

However, just as Tan Han was savoring the previous battle, she felt a great commotion behind her.

She then turned her head and saw the figures of several people.

“Why are you guys still here?”

“Hehe, I’m just a few kills away from the next rank… I’m not going to fight for it. I want to hear what happened just now!”

At this moment, outside.

The moment I withdrew, I felt a wave of discomfort, like the stiffness of a body that hadn’t moved for a long time.

The next moment, I opened my eyes and saw the transparent pod door.

Slightly moving my arm, I guess I’ve been lying here for several days.

It’s truly a strange feeling, like just waking up.

After all, wasn’t it a dream I went to?

So, could this exchange competition be considered a dream?

It should be morning now.

Morning… there shouldn’t be too many people here, right?

But when I looked outside through the pod door, I found so many people sitting there.

When my hand rested on the handle to push open the pod door, a lively sound cunningly slipped into my ears through the crack.

The pod door opened, and a larger view entered my eyes.

I stood up a bit unsteadily, moved my legs, and at this moment, a warm-hearted senior sister in a volunteer vest was about to come over to help me, but I declined.

At this moment, the real sun had just risen.

It was clearly the very end of the exchange competition, yet there were still so many people.

I could still see people like me exiting the dream state pods of the exchange competition, but they didn’t receive the same treatment of being helped.

I turned around and looked around the entire arena, at the enthusiastic cheers from the audience seats.

I could vaguely hear them shouting my name in unison.

“Xiao Han Look here! Ooh ooh ooh”

The arena was filled with their enthusiasm.

If it weren’t for the spell barriers in the audience seats, they probably would have rushed over directly.

However, I still saw the people I cared about most among them.

They had rushed to the very front at this moment, not caring about seats anymore.

The railing at the very front was about to be broken through.

I stretched out my hand towards Big Sis Bai’s direction in response, with a brilliant smile, followed by Shop Manager Xia Li… Senior Sister Ying Shiqian and Senior Sister Tang Yihan.

I didn’t expect them to come to the scene as well.

The shout just now was from Ying Shiqian.

At this moment, even the huge and numerous screens above the arena were showing my image on the most prominent one, making me a little embarrassed.

After enjoying everyone’s cheers and support, what followed was a sense of shame.

After all, it was my first time facing such a scene.

Unlike when I entered the dream state pod, at that time, all the contestants were with me.

And now, although I dare not say everyone was cheering for me, at least a large portion of them were.

Afterward, with a slightly flustered gaze, I scanned the front row seats and saw a group of teachers there.

Among them, I saw my Counselor Ji Niang and the grade director Lina.

I didn’t have much impression of the others, but they were definitely teachers and counselors from other classes, and I didn’t even know their names.

But it didn’t matter.

I found the place and ran over there directly.

After all, they were teachers.

They should know what to do next better than I did.

“Little one, well done.”

Ji Niang’s smile was no longer concealed.

It was clear that she was very satisfied with my performance overall.

“Hehe… um… teacher, since the competition is over, there shouldn’t be anything else, right?”

“You… oh my, what else do you want? An awards ceremony? If you want one, whatever form you want, we’ll give it to you.”

“An… awards ceremony? Let’s just forget it. Just give me the rewards later,” I tactfully refused.

An awards ceremony was too troublesome.

If Tan Han wanted to hold one, it would be best for her to do it.

“What a pity. If you wanted to hold one, we would have a reason to keep those people here. The competition isn’t even over, but some academies have already scurried away. It’s truly a shame.”

“Scurried… away? They don’t want their rewards?”

“Even if they don’t want them, we have to solemnly send people to deliver the rewards and rankings. For such an important matter, we must let the other academy know all about it,” Ji Niang said with a smile.

With my arrival, a group of teachers here also walked towards me, talking to me in various ways as if looking at a rare animal.

After all, teachers naturally have a certain fondness for good students.

After a while, Teacher Ji Niang finally pulled me out of the crowd.

The protective intention was already very obvious.

Just now, indeed, many teachers were saying some poaching words, but most of it was meaningless nonsense to me.

I just wanted to do my own thing now.

As for the rewards… of course, I should get them after calming down for a while.

And Shop Manager Xia Li also had a share.

After all, I had helped the shop manager with her matter.

I wonder what good things I can find then.

“Um… teacher, I should be able to leave now, right?”

After all, I had already delayed a lot of time here, and I was also hungry.

In the dream state, my body was sustained by nutrient solution, but it couldn’t fill my stomach.

It would be best to go back and take a shower.

It’s been two days.

Besides, after this competition, I don’t know how many troubles are waiting for me.

Just thinking about how to face my classmates, the hot discussions in the group chat, and those workhorses in the dormitory… I feel like my life is so fulfilling… it has the feeling of a normie.

Even though I don’t seem to have many friends.

“Go, go. Honestly, look at what an ungodly time you chose to quit the competition, making me get up so early. The rewards will be handed over to you by me after they are sorted out in a while.”

“Thank you, sorry to trouble you, teacher,” I said with a smiling nod.

Now, I was very calm about the rewards because I knew very well that these were what I deserved.

“It’s fine. Oh, right, about your family information from before… if you want to know, the academy’s power can easily…”

At this moment, Teacher Ji Niang’s voice was much lower, and her tone was slightly probing.

“No, what does the trivial matter of that past Yang Yuehan have to do with me, the Reserve Witch Yang Yuehan? Right, teacher?”

“Hehe… what a good mentality. It was me who overstepped,” Ji Niang said with a smiling shake of her head.

“By the way, if you want to leave, take the small path. The main entrance will probably be crowded. I don’t think you’re the type who can handle this kind of situation. And this…”

“Huh? Thank you, teacher, but this… a Spellbook?”

I took a thing the teacher threw at me.

Just a simple look, and I could feel the Spellbook inside.

“Yes, a basic consumption Spellbook, but very practical. It’s for changing your appearance. I think you need this very much right now, don’t you?”

“Huh? Thank you, teacher!”

“Don’t thank me. Take it. This thing is worthless compared to your other rewards.”

After receiving this spell, I didn’t stand on ceremony and immediately began to try out its usage.

Although this Spellbook was a basic consumption Spellbook, from the description of the spell effect, it was still a bit complicated.

This was a disguise spell.

The spell effect was limited to the parts above the neck, facial features, hair, and so on, probably just these.

If you weren’t very familiar with face sculpting, there was a high probability that you would create an ugly monster.

After trying it out for a bit, looking at myself turning into various appearances through the phone camera, this feeling was truly wonderful!

And this was a spell effect.

The feel of sculpting was also great.

It wasn’t an illusion effect, nor was it fake.

The maintenance consumption was also negligible for me now, who was rich and powerful.

And the most important thing was that I could change my hair color, eye color, and so on.

Didn’t this mean free hair dyeing and wearing colored contacts, without having to worry about hair quality and contact lenses?

Sure enough, in the world of the transcendent, many industries in the outside society have completely withered away.

But who can say this isn’t a good thing?

I was a little lost in thought looking at myself on my phone.

As my former self, I had absolutely no resistance to my white-haired self!

If it weren’t for the constant pop-up messages on my phone pulling me back to reality, I might have played for a while longer.

I pulled open my phone list, a column of red dots waiting for replies.

And with one glance, I locked onto the specially followed Big Sis Bai.

I’ll look at the others later.

And I saw many private messages from my classmates congratulating me on winning the competition, as well as the exploding class group chat, mutual aid group, and so on.

I’m really sorry… after all, I’m just one person.

It would take a long time to reply slowly.

But at this moment, the message from Big Sis Bai was also a cheer and blessing for my victory in the competition.

She also asked where I was now and not to go through the main entrance and so on.

I briefly told Big Sis Bai which small path I was taking.

I don’t know if she could find me so quickly.

If not, she could wait for me at any restaurant or cafeteria.

After all, I was really too hungry.

Although it was still morning, let’s just treat it as a cheat meal.

I hope I don’t get a stomach ache.

After that, I walked on a small path in the arena that not many people knew about, replying to the private messages they sent me one by one.

I also became a little more active in the class group chat.

After all, I’m the class president.

After the rewards are distributed, I don’t mind sharing some of them to let them all feel the love from the class president.

Oh, and there’s Tu Xingyue, the model vice class president who temporarily took over my position as class president.

She has worked really hard.

And at this moment, as I left, many people also enthusiastically left the venue, preparing to block various doors.

If they managed to block me, maybe they could even touch the cute little Han or something.

However, a considerable number of senior sisters stayed behind because the exchange competition was not over yet.

It would only end when everyone was eliminated and only one was left.

One can imagine that there were still some people struggling in the Ancient Battlefield or the sea.

But things were different on the Witch Academy’s side.

Tan Han faced the already dead World Tree and cut it down.

At this moment, it was like an ordinary dead tree.

The process of cutting and pushing it down was without any hindrance, but the huge stump it left behind was very conspicuous here.

“Let’s hold another Witch Tea Party here and fleece them one more time,” Tan Han said.

It’s a pity there was a time interval for holding rituals, otherwise Tan Han would be ready for an infinite fleece-the-sheep mode.

“Including this time, it’s four times in total. This means we’ve obtained four extra rewards. When we get them, we’ll divide them equally. Remember to leave a share for Xiao Han.”

After Tan Han finished speaking, she brought out the pre-made red velvet cake and carefully placed it in the corresponding position.

“Of course! Big Sis Xiao Han contributed so much in this exchange competition. We were basically just tagging along and playing soy sauce…”

“Don’t belittle yourselves too much. Your roles were also huge, weren’t they?”

“Anyway, thank you for your trouble in making this trip.”

At this moment, even walking out of the small path, I was blocked by several senior sisters, forced to give autographs and have my face pinched… I had obviously changed my hair color and modified my appearance, yet they still recognized me.

Sure enough, one shouldn’t underestimate those senior sisters from the upper years.

“Big Sis Bai you’re finally here!”

Seeing the familiar figure, I finally couldn’t help but call out.

“Hmm?”

Bai Yu was stunned for a moment when she saw me, then reacted, “Xiao Han, what happened to your hair?”

“Oh it’s fine, it’s just a disguise spell effect. Big Sis Bai, does my white hair look good?”

“Not bad… but it doesn’t match this outfit very well,” Big Sis Bai commented on my style.

“Huh? Whatever, let’s leave it like this for now. Teacher Ji Niang just gave me this disguise spell. It can save me a lot of trouble.”

“Is that so… let’s go, let’s get out of here first. Xiao Han, what are you planning to do next?”

“Of course, eat! I haven’t eaten in days! I didn’t even eat a few good meals in the dream state. I want to eat!”

I said firmly.

After all, isn’t everyone a hidden foodie?

“Okay, okay Big Sis Bai will take you to eat something delicious,” Bai Yu said in a doting tone.

She subconsciously reached out and touched my long hair, then followed my long hair and gently stroked down to my back… my waist… No one knew how Bai Yu had gotten through these few days.

Even though she had been very busy these days—after all, she had clarified her own path and her research topic, there were too many things to be busy with—she still watched the exchange competition for these few days.

She even came here specially today, just to be the first to see Xiao Han come out of the dream state pod.

In the dream state, every time she saw Xiao Han talking to that girl named Yao Beijuan, she had an indescribable feeling.

Now, seeing Xiao Han by her side, it was truly wonderful.

At this moment, I felt Big Sis Bai’s hand touch my head.

Although I don’t like others touching my head, it was fine if it was Big Sis Bai.

If others touch my head, I won’t grow tall, but if Big Sis Bai touches it, that’s just firmly believing in science and resisting feudal superstition.

Besides, not growing tall while being with Big Sis Bai isn’t a big deal either.

It’s still okay for a girl to not be too tall.

But I still felt a kind of friendship in this gesture that was a bit beyond the scope of friends… I should cherish the present.

I’m not ready for that kind of thing yet.

After going through Yao Beijuan, I’ve become somewhat resistant to this kind of relationship.

Back then, it was just to make up for the regret of not having a girlfriend in my previous life, but the result was that the regret was made up for, but it brought me more troubles.

Sure enough, whether you have a partner or not, it’s as contradictory as people in the city wanting to go out, while people outside the city want to go in.

If I could just maintain this kind of relationship and accompany Big Sis Bai, I wouldn’t mind…

When I started to face myself, I realized that my reliance on Big Sis Bai seemed to have surpassed my own cognition.

Sure enough, I was still weak to the point of needing a pillar of support to continue living a normal life… Didn’t I constantly explore and study the transcendent just to master stronger power to fill the void in my heart?

But in the end, this power is just power.

Compared to transcendent power, there is a relationship that is more important to me.
