Is It Weird for a Guy to Apply to a Witch School?

Chapter 208: Intimidating the Elves, Obliterating the Beast Academy

“Thank you for your hospitality.”

After the meal, I thanked them gratefully.

Although everyone outside the Dream State was sustained by nutrient solutions for their body’s essential needs, in the Dream State, one would feel hunger according to the actual situation.

So in the Dream State, food was also a resource that needed to be found.

In that sense, it was indeed convenient that some academies’ rituals included food, such as the cat girls’ Fish and Rice Banquet and cat rice, and the Witch Tea Party’s desserts.

Although the ritual was interrupted and the Fish and Rice Banquet could not continue, they still tried their best to salvage the remaining ingredients and semi-finished ingredients, which they ultimately made into their specialty, cat rice.

Although it was called cat rice, the taste was still very good.

There was a hint of fresh fish fragrance in the rice, the fishy smell was handled very well, and there were many side dishes that also tasted great.

Although the food eaten in the Dream State was fake, the dream rendered that deliciousness perfectly.

After this meal, they even packed extra cat rice for me, and under their warm hospitality, I had no choice but to accept it.

Finally, I left under their farewell.

I still couldn’t bring myself to be cruel enough to act against them.

I could have gotten a lot of points by killing them, and although I wouldn’t be able to rush to first place because of the time and opportunities I had missed, I could still reach the top ranks.

Then I’ll just have to vent all my anger on the other academies!

I remembered those guys who came to surround me before.

Elf Academy, Beast Academy of Athletics, Dog-person Academy, Mad Rat Academy they came in quite a mix, it’s a pity there weren’t more.

And now, some time had passed since the Wizard Academy’s ritual preparations were complete, but there was no notification of the ritual’s completion and score acquisition, which meant that the Wizard Academy was currently being held up.

Just like what happened during our Witch Tea Party.

And during this period, a pillar of light completely different from the ritual lit up at the Wizard Academy’s location, and I also received a notification that the Witch Academy had used a designated resource drop location.

It was self-evident what this represented.

But even with this heavy bargaining chip, the Wizard Academy’s ritual had not been broken yet, which was enough to prove their strength.

It was a big fight over there, but with Tan Han holding the fort, it shouldn’t be a problem.

It would be inappropriate for me to go over.

Besides, I had also said that I was looking forward to them holding another Witch Academy event, and was waiting for their Witch Tea Party invitation.

And I hadn’t found a suitable place here to hold a ritual, so how could I just go back like this.

Meanwhile, in the outside world.

As the saying goes, students watched this exchange competition for the excitement, but the teachers and academy heads of the major academies were looking at the underlying strategies.

Everyone knew why this exchange competition could be held.

It was to add a node to the script through this exchange competition, a node to gather destiny.

The last node where destiny gathered was the college entrance examination.

It was on that occasion that Tan Han’s identity as a Child of Destiny was ignited by destiny.

If Tan Han was first place in this exchange competition again, her own destiny would rise to an even higher level.

This was something the major academies did not want to see, so this time, besides the individual rankings, there was also an academy ranking, in order to disperse a part of destiny, so that destiny would not become a one-shot deal.

Although the destiny points obtained from the academy ritual would ultimately be counted towards the academy, with a little maneuvering from the academy, it could become nourishment for their own academy’s Child of Destiny.

And now the most terrifying thing had happened.

If the Witch Academy was also first in the academy rankings, then it was as if they had planned a complete sweep.

This was equivalent to the Witch Academy’s own drama of passing something from the left hand to the right, and in the end, the beneficiary was still Tan Han.

But now, no one expected that the Child of Destiny from the obscure Mengmao Academy would become the second lucky person to obtain destiny after Tan Han.

Although it was just a trace, or even just enough to make the seed of destiny sprout but this was a process from nothing to something!

It was a huge leap!

Who would have thought that just because of a meal, just because of a bowl of cat rice, such a cat girl would be honored with the identity of the second official Child of Destiny!

Although there was no evidence to prove that there was any difference in the order, matters of destiny could not be measured by common sense.

“I’m not saying this, but do all witches have the personality of a cat slave?”

“Cats are so cute, what, you don’t like them?”

“I didn’t say I don’t like them.”

Regarding the various situations happening in the exchange competition at this moment, many teachers from the Witch Academy were paying attention to the situation in the arena.

Many people were also curious why the arena’s largest free camera angle was focused on a witch who was cooking with the Mengmao Academy.

Clearly, the fight at the Wizard Academy was in full swing.

The wizards were under siege from the witches, Holy Angel, and other academies.

They even used a designated resource drop, raising the atmosphere of the battle to another level.

Why would the teachers be more concerned with cooking?

Was cooking very popular now?

And on the other side, the students from Aphrodite Academy had already made contact with the students from the Sea Race, and even had the intention of forming an alliance, yet these scenes had now become mere backdrops.

This was a projection from the Dream State, not just a broadcast of images, so as Transcendent-level teachers, many of them could see the twists and turns within it, and could also see the contamination and transformation of destiny.

“That child is an Innate Spirit Visionary, right? Truly terrifying. Even without reaching True Time, she can see through the gathering and scattering of destiny with her Spirit Vision.”

“What’s even more terrifying is the thesis on spellbooks she published, isn’t it? Truly amazing, it gave me a lot of inspiration. If she hadn’t yet mastered True Editing, I wouldn’t mind discussing the mysteries of spellbooks with her.”

“Just you? Is your discussion a proper one?”

“None of your business.”

The discussions on this matter at the Witch Academy were considered relatively normal.

After all, it was a common trait for witches to enjoy watching drama.

But the other academies didn’t think so.

Especially the Mengmao Academy, which was also under considerable pressure, but that was all.

The relationship between the beast academies was not like that of a main campus and an affiliated college.

At most, they could exert some pressure on each other, but the academies could not interfere with each other.

At this moment, another resource drop location appeared on the live broadcast screen, right near the World Tree.

The resource drops in the exchange competition were quite particular, or rather, there were traces of backroom dealings.

For example, the resources that dropped in a certain region would be more biased towards the needs of a certain academy.

At this moment, because I had no storage space and was just holding the cat rice in my hands, I was just wondering where to go when I saw a familiar pillar of light.

It was a marker indicating a nearby resource drop, not as conspicuous as a ritual’s, and generally only noticeable to people within a certain range.

But for me, riding a broom with an excellent field of vision, what was nearby, I could even see it from a distance.

“It’s... over there at the World Tree.”

Seeing that the resource drop location was not too far from me, the resources at the Wizard Tower would have been snatched up long before I got there, but I couldn’t miss this one right under my nose.

However, seeing that the location was elven territory, I still hesitated subconsciously.

After all, the Elf Academy had not left a good impression on me.

And there was someone in that academy who also left a bad impression on me.

But out of a desire to join in the fun, I went over anyway.

The elves’ World Tree forest bordered the Beast Academy’s jungle.

With this resource drop, I might run into quite a few people from the Beast Academy, so I didn’t mind killing a few more there.

And while I was at it, I’d see if I could snatch some storage equipment.

I didn’t care much before because I didn’t have many things to carry, but now that I had extra cat rice in my hands, I felt that having some storage equipment was still very important.

So I chose to rob people midway.

After all, flying in the sky was really conspicuous.

If someone chose to ambush me at this time, they would become my chosen lucky winner.

Regardless of whether they had any storage equipment, I would kill them all.

If they did, I would rob them before killing them.

Anyway, I had no psychological burden; they made the first move.

Even if I had made the first move, I’m not the type to have a psychological burden, except for cute cat girls.

By the time I reached the World Tree region, it seemed that a big fight had already broken out over the dropped resources.

“Oyo What is everyone busy with? Including me.”

With my appearance, the opposing academies that were fighting fiercely also turned their attention to me.

“From the Witch Academy? Why are you here?”

“It’s Yang Yuehan, I know you!”

“It seems my fame isn’t low, I’m so ashamed, I can’t even call out any of your names.”

I responded with a smile, following their words, and the resource they were fighting for was now exposed before me.

Although I didn’t know what those fruit-like things were, I knew at first glance that they were the resources mentioned in the rules that could be brought out of the Dream State.

As long as you obtained them and were not robbed until the end or death, you could exchange them for corresponding resources after the exchange competition.

“Witch, are you also going to join the scramble? I must remind you, it’s best not to get involved.”

“Even if I want to get involved, what can you do to me?”

At this moment, I directly activated the Flame Fairy Transformation Spell and headed towards the opponent.

I had a transformation spell too, I just didn’t use it often.

After using the transformation spell, I found that in addition to gaining the ability, or rather, the talent, to directly control flames with my mental power, my fire element affinity was also greatly enhanced.

This meant that the power of my Fireball spell would be taken to another level.

Then, that clamoring elf was killed by me right before their eyes.

And the fruit he had snatched also fell into my hands.

“You! We don’t go as far as killing each other when we fight for resources. Witch, what is the meaning of this!”

“Not killing? Are you here to play house? Is the Elf Academy full of this kind of trash?”

I retracted the flames and spell effects and asked back directly.

No matter how idiotic the other party’s statement was, since they were elves from Aphrodite Academy, they were definitely not fools.

Weren’t they just trying to point the spear at me?

I had arrived a little too late.

The resources here were already in the final distribution stage.

Everyone had snatched what they felt was a ”reasonable” share and was thinking of retreating to avoid further trouble.

Even though everyone could be revived, the cost of dying once still outweighed the gain from this one resource.

So after clashing, they constantly tested each other’s psychological expectations, using their strength to prove how many resources they could obtain.

Now, this balance had been broken by me.

I scanned the people here, Aphrodite Academy, and the other elf academies behind them, people from the Beast Academy, and even guys from the Sea Race.

I didn’t expect them to come ashore directly.

After all, in the sea, their legs would turn into fishtails, only then could the Sea Race display their true strength.

Why did they run all the way up here?

“I say, don’t you all think the resource distribution right now is very unreasonable? How did the Sea Race over there get so much?”

At this moment, I directly pointed my spear at the Sea Race.

Seeing the Sea Race and the elves being so close, I had my suspicions.

“Miss Yang Yuehan, you just killed one of our Aphrodite Academy students and snatched his share of the Life Fruit, don’t push your luck. After all, you are only one person.”

At this moment, an elf from Aphrodite Academy spoke to me directly.

Although it was full of accusations, it helped the Sea Race out of their predicament and also threatened me.

“So what if I’m alone? How about each of you give me some more? I think I can handle it.”

I continued to say with a thick-skinned smile.

My words directly made them silent.

“I’ll give you one more, and you’ll be willing to leave, is that what you mean?”

In the end, it was that elf who spoke again, but it was clear that she had also reached her limit.

“Don’t twist the concept One? Are you trying to get rid of a beggar? I have a big appetite, my goal is for all of you to give me yours.”

“Enough! Stop messing around here, do you really think your strength is enough to contend with all of us!”

“I’m talking with the elves, what’s a Sea Race member like you shouting for?”

I turned to look at that mermaid.

Although she had a pair of legs now that she was ashore, because they were adapted to swimming in the sea, their uniform design had to adapt.

So at this moment, that pair of long, fair legs was practically blinding to anyone who stared.

“Or have you allied with the elves? Feeling emboldened because you have allies as your backing?”

“Alliance?”

At this moment, the beastmen from the Beast Academy on the side also looked over, a trace of crisis flashing in their eyes.

“It’s fine, it’s fine!”

I interrupted the emotions that were about to erupt, but just as I was about to continue, my words were interrupted by someone else.

“Yang Yuehan?”

“Tsk…”

Hearing this voice, I immediately let out a tsk.

A figure emerged from the side of Aphrodite Academy.

“It really is you, why are you here?”

“Does my being here have anything to do with you?”

I directly ignored Yao Beijuan and continued to look at them, my face even gloomier than before.

“How about it? Give me everything, and I’ll get going quickly.”

“Do you want to offend three parties at once!”

“Yes, it’s not like you’re some people I can’t afford to offend, or are you overestimating yourselves?”

As I spoke, my spellbook was also in a state of readiness.

“Wait, Yang Yuehan, you weren’t like this before!”

“Then let’s start with you from the Beast Academy!”

I chose to selectively ignore Yao Beijuan’s words and instead turned to the Beast Academy who were watching the show from the side.

“Fuck! Why start with us!”

“Kill! Damn it, what do they take us for, killing the chicken to scare the monkey!”

“Just in time! I was happily eating in the jungle earlier, and you guys from the Beast Academy came to bother me one by one. It’s a good time to settle the score here.”

I went towards these guys from the Beast Academy.

They didn’t even have the sturdy dragon scales of those from the Dragon Blood Academy.

They relied on the racial power unique to their academy.

No matter what name their transcendent power had, at this moment, they were all flesh and blood.

“It’s you! You’re the one who provided shelter for those cat cubs!”

“Cat cubs? Your way of addressing them is really casual, so are you prepared to pay the price!”

At this moment, the students of the Beast Academy finally experienced just how terrifying a witch with a grudge pent up in her chest could be.

The squishy spellcaster they had originally imagined, who could be easily dealt with once they got close, was now crushing them.

The high temperature and explosion from that terrifying Fireball spell were crippling upon contact.

The imaginary enemy spellcaster they practiced against in the academy shouldn’t have a Fireball spell of this power!

After just a few rounds of direct confrontation, the Beast Academy suffered heavy losses, and the surrounding trees also caught fire due to the Fireball spell.

“Those elves over there! How long are you going to watch the show! If you don’t lend a hand, we’re all going to die!”

“Don’t worry, you’re right, you’re all going to die.”

I stepped on this guy’s head, bringing his face into zero-distance contact with the soil.

I looked at the flames that were burning just because of the Fireball spell, and a crazy idea formed in my mind.

But first, I had to send those from the Sea Race away, in case they had some tricks up their sleeves.

I casually picked up the storage pouch from his waist.

At this moment, these had all become my spoils of war.

“Thank you all for standing by and watching. I’ve settled some of the previous grudges.”

“Now that you’ve gotten enough benefits, don’t push your luck!”

At this moment, the elves and the Sea Race party had also directly experienced my strength, and even their words were full of caution.

“You want to smooth things over just like that? The Beast Academy will cry if they hear this, Don’t worry, I’ve prepared a big gift for you.”

“Yang Yuehan, what on earth do you want to do? I admit that your strength is indeed very strong, we all underestimated your strength.”

“But this fire magic of yours is nothing in front of our Sea Race!”

At this moment, a member of the Sea Race on the side also spoke up threateningly.

“Huh? What are you talking about? Are you talking to me about elemental counters? I think you need to go back and properly review Elemental Theory and Higher Elemental Theory. When fire is powerful enough, it can burn mountains and boil seas. What? Or do you want to experience the taste of being a little dried fish?”

I said this with a full sense of ridicule, which could be said to have maxed out the other party’s anger.

Of course, what I just said, ”burn mountains and boil seas”, also hinted at my thoughts, but they didn’t seem to understand or take it seriously.

Perhaps I really couldn’t boil the seas, but burning the mountains was possible.

If this forest fire I’m about to start gets going, can they still remain so calm?

Maybe in the end, I can even watch the drama of the World Tree burning.

I suppose when it’s all burned down, the remaining stump of the World Tree should be big enough for a Witch Tea Party, right?
