Is It Weird for a Guy to Apply to a Witch School?

Chapter 203: How can a tea party be without desserts, tea, and coffee?

“The scenery here is truly breathtaking.”

After accompanying Tan Han to the head of this giant ancient dragon, I looked at the scenery in the distance and the scorching magma below me.

Although waves of heat were constantly erupting, there was also an indescribable shock here.

“Mm, this place is indeed suitable for the ritual. I’ll apply for the preparations then,” Tan Han said after confirming that this place was sufficient for the ritual.

The process of holding a ritual was to apply to the Dream State.

As long as the conditions were met, anyone could apply, but the same academy could only apply once in a given period.

And if Tan Han prepared to hold it here, then the original plan at the Forged Ancient City would be completely disrupted.

The application for the ritual was also carried out along with the generation of the pillar of light.

After all, a ritual involved many things.

For example, the Dragon Blood Academy’s Dragon Blood Gluttonous Feast Ritual; that ritual altar could not be created in a short amount of time.

Similarly, the tea party table, utensils, and desserts needed for the Witch Tea Party could not be obtained here right now.

These were the basic tools for the ritual, and they were things that would be granted after applying for the ritual.

If these items were destroyed, it would be equivalent to the ritual being destroyed.

Furthermore, in the area where the ritual was destroyed, the same ritual could not be held a second time.

So, theoretically, there was an upper limit to the number of times each academy could hold a ritual.

Recklessly holding a ritual and then failing to defend it was the greatest waste.

As a towering pillar of light rose again in a similar location, the tea party venue enveloped in the pillar of light was like the protagonist under the circular spotlight of a stage, attracting everyone’s gaze.

The pillar of light in the same place extinguished and then rose again.

This strange phenomenon indeed attracted the attention of many people.

Academies that were not involved might not have realized what had happened, but the students of Dragon Blood Academy understood it all too well.

Their own academy’s ritual was destroyed, and another academy was holding a ritual here, the magpie has taken the dove’s nest!

Revenge!

They must take revenge for this!

Even if the Dragon Blood Gluttonous Feast Ritual could not be held a second time in that place, the ones who destroyed it needed to pay the price!

This was practically a slap to their face, an insult to their academy.

“It seems the preparations for the Witch Tea Party ritual are more troublesome than I thought,” I said, looking at the things that had appeared.

Honestly, if I were asked to move things and assemble tools, I naturally wouldn’t find it troublesome.

But now that the tools for the Witch Tea Party were already prepared, what was missing were the “witches from afar” and the “desserts, coffee, and tea prepared for the witches from afar.”

Just like how the Dragon Blood Gluttonous Feast Ritual required a blood sacrifice of local creatures, lighting the priest’s bonfire, cutting one’s own palm, soaking the Reverse Scale with dragon blood, joining hands with multiple Dragon-persons to sing and dance the Dragon Dance, and finally sharing the blood-sacrificed creature.

In fact, the other academies were not much easier than the Witch Academy.

I carried the raw ingredients: eggs, sugar, almonds, or even cake flour, tea leaves, or coffee beans.

It seemed that one couldn’t even hold a Witch Tea Party without some skills.

“Tan Han, do you… know how?”

I looked at Tan Han with some hesitation and asked.

“I do know a little about hand-ground coffee and the tea ceremony,” Tan Han said as she looked at me.

“Let’s just prepare the tea party to the minimum standard. Besides, these aren’t the most important things. The main thing is the witches from afar. I wonder if they can make it here.”

“Is that so? But don’t forget I’m a member of the Bakery Club. It won’t do without some skills. Holding a Witch Tea Party to the minimum standard will be laughed at.”

I pulled out a chair and sat down with a plop.

“Don’t forget that every move we make now is being broadcasted live, we just don’t know from which perspective.”

Although I said that, I could see the “filming” perspective in the Dream State through Spirit Vision.

Through this, I could roughly deduce where the “hidden camera” was.

It was just a pity that I couldn’t interfere with this perspective.

It was fine if others couldn’t see it, there was no psychological burden.

But I always saw it unintentionally, as if constantly reminding me that I was being live-streamed at this moment.

“You’re right, I almost forgot,” Tan Han shook her head with a smile, but she didn’t say what she almost forgot, whether it was the matter of everyone being live-streamed, or the fact that I was a member of the Bakery Club.

“So don’t worry about holding the Witch Tea Party. Didn’t you see that the tools are all prepared over there?”

I stood up and carried the raw ingredients to the preparation counter on the side.

As expected of a ritual from the Witch Academy main campus, all sorts of things were prepared.

There were ovens and various utensils, very complete.

It gave me the illusion of being in the back kitchen of a bakery.

I casually picked up an apron from the side and tied it on.

I didn’t know who designed it, but its style and pattern matched the unified uniform of the Witch exchange competition perfectly.

“Tan Han, it seems someone is here to disturb us so soon.”

I picked up the egg beater, checked the other utensils, and then sensed the movements of others in the distance.

And Tan Han didn’t need my reminder and went straight out.

There was no rush for the hand-ground coffee and tea brewing that Tan Han knew.

Although Tan Han was also a member of the Bakery Club, it was obvious that this young lady had never tried to make any cakes.

If she were to host the Witch Tea Party, it was foreseeable that the cake she finally brought out would be in a regular shape at best, which would be her greatest effort.

By the way, isn’t it common sense for a girl to know the process of making things like cakes and cookies?

Otherwise, holding a ritual would require students from various academies to be able to do it, but if it turned out that their own students couldn’t, wouldn’t that be embarrassing?

Although I hadn’t been to the Bakery Club to practice for many days, I still knew how to bake some simple cookies and cakes.

Besides, Big Sis had given me a list of those recipes back then.

Although I might not know how to make most of them, this was a Witch Tea Party, not a dessert buffet.

I just needed to make a few.

Also, Senior Tang Yihan’s dark cuisine couldn’t appear here.

At this moment.

In the arena outside the Dream State, the huge central Earth Vein Operating System carried numerous live broadcast and commentary perspectives, ensuring that everyone here could see the most exciting scenes in three hundred and sixty degrees.

If one had to say whose face was the darkest right now, it would be the exchange students from Dragon Blood Academy.

As the first academy whose ritual was destroyed, the students who came for the exchange and to watch the battle even felt a little unable to hold their heads up.

And the many Witch Academy students in the audience would not let such an opportunity slip by.

Whether it was the massacre that had just occurred in the Dragon Blood Lair Active Volcano Cluster, or the performance of those Dragon Blood Academy students, it had raised the atmosphere of the scene to a new level.

It also made those substitutes and exchange students from Dragon Blood Academy even more unable to hold their heads up.

After all, things like illusory clones could not be seen in a live broadcast, and the Dream State would not display this kind of illusion effect for the sake of the broadcast.

So, in this way, they appeared even more foolish.

And what made the Witch Academy even more excited at this moment was the meeting of the two beauties this time, which could be considered a dramatic encounter.

This was Little Han and Little Han, the two publicly acknowledged strongest fighters among the newcomers.

And now, with the preparations for the Witch Tea Party ritual, one faced outwards, clearing out strong enemies, while the other was inside, tying on an apron.

This contrast directly made many senior sisters instantly aroused.

Some even started shipping the two of them.

At this moment, a world where only Big Sis Bai was hurt was… born.

Bai Yu had never wanted to rush into the arena at this moment as much as she did now, but she couldn’t.

Oh no, the students and teachers of Dragon Blood Academy and its affiliated academies were also very hurt.

“It’s Little Han! Tang Yihan, why didn’t you teach Little Han more of your skills!”

At this moment, Ying Shiqian excitedly pointed at the huge projection curtain wall inside the bakery.

Because the senior sisters felt that they couldn’t see the scene even if they were there, Ying Shiqian and the others did not try to grab tickets this time, but instead stayed at the bakery.

After all, there was such an Earth Vein system here to watch the live broadcast, so she didn’t complain.

Actually, the main reason was that they didn’t manage to get tickets.

“As if you’ve taught her before. Little Han’s baking talent is very good, and she has her own ideas. Does she need me to teach her?”

Tang Yihan directly flicked the forehead of Ying Shiqian, who was shouting randomly out of excitement, to make her quiet down.

“Be gentle… boohoo, I really want to eat the desserts Little Han made herself.”

“Here, I made this, make do with it. Didn’t you give away all the ones Little Han made before for free?”

Tang Yihan stuffed the cake at hand into Ying Shiqian’s mouth, making it difficult for her to even speak.

“Mmmhmm… chew chew chew”

Of course, without Ying Shiqian’s chatter, the bakery became much quieter.

However, at this time, many people also came, attracted by the fame.

Sometimes, some skills were very ordinary things, but if placed in a special occasion, they would cause very magical effects.

Looking at the smooth and fluid operations in the picture, the crisp and decisive movements and turns, it indeed brightened the eyes of many people.

After all, who wouldn’t like to see a beautiful girl personally making desserts for you to taste?

The only pity was that the people outside couldn’t taste it.

If a beautiful girl participated in the Dragon Blood Gluttonous Feast and shared the blood food, it is estimated that many people would find it unacceptable, right?

So Dragon Blood Academy’s own culture suffered a bit of a disadvantage innately.

Probably only the students of Dragon Blood Academy, with dragon blood rushing to their heads, would feel proud and worship such crude behavior, right?

Perhaps it was similar at the Imp Academy, but precisely because the ritual needed to consider its visual appeal, many academies had racked their brains in this aspect.

Only an academy like Dragon Blood Academy, whose heads were filled with muscles, would not care about these things.

As time passed bit by bit.

The cake I made was also out of the oven, and the cream I made during this period could also be put to use.

“Do the things need to be made so exquisitely?”

Tan Han, who had just finished the battle, came back and looked at the cakes and cookies I made, subconsciously swallowed her saliva, and then asked.

“It’s just the standard procedure. Want to try some? I see you were quite tired from the battle just now.”

I used a long knife to cut the decorated cake, then inserted cream flowers, and garnished it with a fresh cherry on a plate.

“Mm… thank you.”

Tan Han looked at the dessert handed to her and didn’t stand on ceremony.

The enemies Tan Han needed to face were actually not many.

After all, the competition had just started, and all the academies were preparing to hold their own rituals.

After all, holding a ritual was an effective way to “gather” players from the same school.

Tan Han mostly dealt with the players from Dragon Blood Academy, but after killing a few, they understood what it meant not to throw their lives away.

With Tan Han standing there, she directly deterred many who came to cause trouble.

So they either gathered their strength and waited for more people to gather for a siege, or they joined forces with people from other academies who came to check the situation, or they intercepted Witch Academy students who were rushing over midway.

But Tan Han would not give them such an opportunity.

“They’ve been waiting for a while, right? They have flying brooms, they shouldn’t be so slow,” I asked.

“The earth vein in the ancient battlefield is abnormal, and all kinds of situations have occurred. I’m afraid they are in a bad situation,” Tan Han looked at the rankings.

Here, one could see everyone’s score and the remaining number of revivals.

The Witch Academy right now was not without casualties.

We could kill students from other academies, and other academies could kill us as well.

Although Tan Han and I could beat the students of Dragon Blood Academy to a pulp, their own strength just hadn’t been shown.

The intensity of their dragon blood’s transformation on their own bodies even far surpassed some of the transformation spells of the Witch Academy.

Those hard dragon scales, that terrifying physical quality and vitality, were definitely not something those reserve witches who had mastered transformation spells could block.

Since they were chosen as players for the exchange competition, the academy would naturally tilt resources towards them.

They would not be stingy with Magic Power Sources and Spellbooks.

Their combat power must have also qualitatively improved from when I fought them.

At this time, it was best to believe in them.

“Mm, more and more academies are preparing for rituals. At this rate, it seems that every academy wants to take this opportunity to not be left behind.”

I looked at the several more pillars of light for rituals that appeared on the horizon.

In the end, only one ritual could be successfully held.

“Our progress might be a bit behind, Tan Han. Why don’t you go check on that ritual over there? According to the order, that one started before ours. If they finish, we will be very passive here. You don’t want my desserts to be wasted like this, do you?”

“Then here…”

“You have me. Do I look like I need your protection?”

I looked down at my apron.

Although it didn’t look very convincing, Tan Han wouldn’t think I didn’t have the strength.

“Can you handle it alone? After all, you have to deal with enemies and protect the tea party.”

“Of course I can handle it. I have many tricks up my sleeve.”

I shook my head and cast a huge energy shield to protect the tea party area, not just an energy shield, but also a shield protection, to prevent the aftershocks of the battle from affecting the desserts.

“Is that so? Your methods are really beyond my expectations.”

Tan Han looked at my actions and felt a sense of relief.

The spells in the spellbook were quite rigid in a way.

For example, some protection shields could only be used on oneself, or the size of the shield could only adapt within a certain range.

Being able to protect the entire tea party venue was definitely beyond the limits of the spellbook.

“Relax, take another piece of cake to eat on the go before you leave.”

“Thank you, then you are…”

Tan Han saw that I hadn’t untied my apron and even wanted to get busy again, so she couldn’t help but ask.

“I’ll make some more desserts. The ritual didn’t say that the desserts need to be made on the spot, so those prepared in advance can be used directly. I remember you brought storage equipment, right? You and the people who arrive can all take some, it will be convenient for holding the Witch Tea Party ritual,” I said with a smile, playing with the egg beater in my hand.

“Mm, then be careful by yourself.”

“I will,” I smiled and sent Tan Han off.

In fact, the positioning of the Witch Academy was scattered from the beginning.

Perhaps there would be one or two traveling together, but most of them wandered alone.

This was in line with one person choosing a place to hold a Witch Tea Party and inviting witches from all sides to gather together.

Because after the Witch Tea Party ritual began, everyone needed to speak, try to share their experiences and joys.

Tasting desserts and coffee was a secondary matter.

“Was that Tan Han who just left?”

“Tan Han actually left?”

“What’s going on? She just left a person who only knows how to make cakes. Did she give up on holding the Witch Tea Party?”

“Be careful, it might be a trap. You can’t trust the words of a witch.”

“That person… she’s not just someone who only knows how to make cakes!”

Regardless of how they, who were watching covetously from a distance, finally deliberated, Tan Han’s departure undoubtedly made them feel that the biggest threat had left.

Such a golden opportunity could not be missed!

So, at this moment, the dragon claws they had sharpened were completely revealed.

“Aiya How troublesome. Are you sure you want to disturb a weak girl like me making dessert?”

I stood inside the pillar of light, my tone carrying a hint of playfulness.

Looking at them, I didn’t show a trace of nervousness, only a secret joy in my heart.

These were all points, and I would be reluctant if Tan Han harvested them all.

“Hehe, I don’t know who gave you the courage. Is it that shield that’s more fragile than the eggshell in your hand?”

“How could that be? But I’m sorry, there’s no share of the desserts I made for you.”
