Is It Weird for a Guy to Apply to a Witch School?

Chapter 213: The Witch Tea Party Held in the Fallen Land

”Oh, the effect seems to be alright.”

In the distance, I paused for a moment to look at my own handiwork, but from this far away, the island didn’t seem to have changed much.

Could it be that the power was insufficient?

It seems necessary to try again.

Although that spell effect came from a basic consumption Evocation Spellbook, ”Resonance” and ”Floating” consumed a huge amount of power, as they had to break through the original spellbook’s effects to achieve other effects.

When I was unable to interfere with magic power with my own mental power, I was already very satisfied that I could achieve other effects just by relying on the understanding of the internal structure of the spellbook and paying more magic power.

When my mental power is strong enough to interfere with magic power, I can already imagine how I’ll be able to play around with the spellbook!

If my mental power can interfere with magic power, then certain inherent limitations of the spellbook will not be a problem for me at all.

And now that my Magic Power Source has reached over a thousand, the so-called Witchification process will also accelerate, and the quality of my mental power will also improve along with it.

At that time, I will be able to interfere with magic power.

I remember someone seemed to have told me that after starting school and learning the Witch Meditation Method, I would be qualified to interfere with magic power.

Now it seems that I am indeed qualified, but my ability is still not enough.

After witnessing the effect I created with my own hands, I directly strengthened my shield and headed all the way towards the direction of the Witch Tea Party.

On the way, I also opened the Memory Bookshelf and began to compare the map.

According to my current direction, the location of the Witch Tea Party should be the Fallen Land.

That place was also the most chaotic place on the entire exchange competition map.

It also had special weather; it was always shrouded in dark clouds, and withered trees did not grow.

It was rather similar to the Land of Eternal Darkness next door, but the intersection between these two lands was actually not much.

The Fallen Land had a lower terrain compared to other places, and it was a dark and damp place.

The most conspicuous thing below was the rift valley that seemed to lead to the abyss.

That was also the favorite place for the creatures of the dark land to stay, and a chaotic food chain like that of the abyss was constructed here, at least ensuring that it could be self-sufficient and circulate for a short period of time.

Speaking of which, holding a Witch Tea Party here might be a bit.

In short, this was most likely prepared by Tan Han and the others, which means their taste in choosing a place wouldn’t be bad, at least they probably wouldn’t screw me over.

Moreover, the Fallen Land also occupied a very large area, after all, there were a total of six academies active here!

The Imp Academy that I was most familiar with, as well as the Little Devil Academy, Succubus Academy, Fallen Academy, Undead Academy, and the Necromancer Academy.

Although it seemed like some strange academies were mixed in, it didn’t have any impact.

Speaking of which, none of the seniors in the outside world would be secretly hiding in some deserted place watching the exclusive live broadcast of the Succubus Academy students, right?

No matter what, this was a formal exchange competition venue.

The various academies should know what restraint is.

The closer I got, the more I could feel the gloomy environment of the Fallen Land.

It was very much in line with the stereotypes I knew: deep black soil, with very few weeds on the ground, and the withered tree trunks had only a layer of bark left on the outside, their interiors long hollowed out.

The air was filled with a rotten stench, and ash-like particles drifted here with the air.

Unknown insects crawled in inconspicuous corners, only to be directly swallowed by some unknown creature.

It felt like this place was filled with the law of the jungle from the very beginning.

And I also recalled the bad impression introduced within the Imp Academy that I had seen before.

Did the students born in that way really still have ”self-awareness”?

This was an exchange competition.

Although many small academies didn’t put on a show like Aphrodite Academy when they appeared, their appearance brought a hair-raising feeling to people.

The Imp Academy was like this, so what about the other academies?

I suddenly felt that this world was so sad.

The power of the Transcendent was above this world, and people lived in a ”beautiful” swaddling cloth.

And some people pursued the Transcendent, entered a Transcendent Academy, and finally discovered that the Transcendent was actually like this.

I don’t know if the students of the Imp Academy still have the concept of regret.

Perhaps at this moment, they would be even more terrifying lunatics than me.

Riding my broomstick and continuing deeper, I also saw many Phantoms of the Past rushing out from the ancient battlefield along the way.

They wandered on the edge, but I did not stop them.

After all, wasting magic power to kill them had no practical benefits.

It was better to leave them for the guys in the Fallen Land to worry about themselves.

After entering the territory of the Fallen Land, I compared the location on the map again.

If there was any place in the Fallen Land that was suitable for holding a Witch Tea Party, a landmark as iconic as the Ancient Dragon’s Remains of the Dragon Blood Nest or the World Tree of the Elves.

It would naturally be the Mountain of Remains in the Fallen Land.

The description of this place on the exchange competition map was very simple and clear.

This was a mountain peak piled up with bones.

Countless weathered white bones were built into the mountain peak.

A prehistoric greatsword pierced through an Abyssal Troll, nailing it to the ground.

The troll’s corpse blocked the passage to the lower levels of the abyss, and that sword stood there, making this place an excellent composition.

The troll’s corpse decayed and turned into filth.

The filth gave birth to a scene like the abyss, and it also nurtured the chaotic creatures and plants of the abyss.

I passed over from above, overlooking the scenery below.

Deathly silence seemed to be the eternal theme here, as if dangers were all around, and making a sound would attract the enemy’s attention.

And what was even more hair-raising was yet to come.

With my arrival, I felt countless eyes staring at me.

The abyss was full of bones.

Even in death, Nether Ghost Fire seemed to rise from their hollow eye sockets and look at me.

Was this really the place Tan Han chose?

Although the Wizard Tower was not close to here, if it was to deliberately keep a distance from me and they chose this place, then why was there no sign of anyone or any trace of them having been here?

As the pillar of light from the ritual was revealed before my eyes, I finally saw the towering and spectacular mountain peak piled up with bones.

The pillar of light from the ritual was at the very top, shooting straight into the sky.

But this was not the most spectacular thing.

The most spectacular thing was that greatsword.

I didn’t know how many of my lengths the width of that greatsword was.

At this moment, being nailed into the ground, it could be said to connect heaven and earth.

It was even more shocking to me than that mountain of remains.

And the troll that was nailed to the ground by the greatsword could no longer be seen in its original form.

Only the exposed remains could still identify that it was once a huge life form.

The greatsword was still there, but the person who held the sword had disappeared.

But the blade was facing the mountain of remains, especially the flat top of the peak, as if someone had built an altar for it later.

But when I arrived at the Witch Tea Party, I found that the long table and chairs for the tea party had already been set up, but there was only one person.

”Lan Baihui?”

I asked tentatively.

After all, I was not familiar with many of the top ten in the Witch Academy, but I had met them in advance and confirmed their names, and had chatted a little.

At this moment, Lan Baihui was sitting on one of the chairs.

The ghastly white bone arms extending from the back of the chair were holding her tightly, confining her to this one seat.

With my arrival, the other party was also very excited.

Because her mouth was tied, she could only make muffled sounds.

”Why are you here?”

I stepped forward to untie her restraints, but I still asked what I already knew.

This was clearly a setup.

Lan Baihui was captured here, perhaps forced to hold the Witch Tea Party to attract witches to come.

Good heavens there’s such an operation, I’ve learned something new!

Although I had already realized that this was a trap, I was still unmoved.

I went behind Lan Baihui to untie her restraints.

In those white bones extending from behind, I saw traces of alchemy.

It was probably a special kind of magical artifact from the academies here in the Fallen Land?

”Little Han, go quickly, it’s a trap!”

”I know, stop the nonsense. How are they planning to ambush me?”

I asked in an unhappy tone, then looked around, as if observing where the ambushers were.

There’s something wrong with this Lan Baihui.

Something was off the first time I saw her.

”The whole! Any relatively complete skeleton ambushing here could be a force they control! The Necromancers, they deliberately prepared a Necromantic artifact. This time it’s an ambush specifically targeting our Witch Academy, led by the Necromancers!”

Lan Baihui’s tone was a bit chaotic at this moment, but I understood the main meaning she wanted to express.

This was an ambush led by the Necromancers against the Witch Academy, using the Witch Academy’s ritual.

If they wanted to target the Witch Academy, they shouldn’t have been able to calculate that they could kidnap a witch to cooperate.

”Did you start this Witch Tea Party?”

I turned my head and asked.

Under the effect of Spirit Vision, I was forced to see the other party’s spell effect.

The other party was not Lan Baihui, but being able to start the Witch Academy’s ritual meant that the other party had really kidnapped a student from the Witch Academy.

”I’m sorry, my consciousness was hazy at that time. The other party seemed to have a means to bewitch the mind...”

”I’m not blaming you, you did very well. This place is indeed very suitable as a venue for the Witch Tea Party.”

I smiled, then raised my foot and stomped on the white bone undead that suddenly moved by my feet, crushing it into powdered bone.

The means of the Necromancers?

There are so many bones here.

If they all awakened, wouldn’t they form an army of the undead?

”No... that’s not it. They just chose this place and then destroyed the ritual. They want us to be unable to hold the ritual here. Our Witch Academy doesn’t have many ritual locations to begin with, and each one needs to be treated with caution...”

”But it hasn’t been destroyed yet, has it? Don’t say such discouraging things, Lan Baihui. What’s your situation now? Do you still have any combat power?”

”My magic power was forcibly depleted. It will take time to recover...”

”Look who’s here? It’s a small fry. I thought the first one to arrive would be Tan Han.”

”You guys seem to value Tan Han quite a bit, huh?”

I turned around and saw a risen undead skeleton.

A faint blue undead fire flickered in its empty eye sockets.

It was obvious that even without Spirit Vision, I could tell this was just a puppet.

Necromancy so cautious.

But since it was a spell effect that could be controlled, then there was a source of the spell casting.

Under Spirit Vision, the flowing energy allowed me to clearly see the direction in which that connection extended, and I had a rough idea in my heart.

”Hehe... you’re not bad either. The second in line among the Witch Academy newcomers. This counts as catching a big fish.”

”Are you sure the one you caught is a fish? Be careful not to have your fishing rod snapped. A guy who only dares to talk to me with a puppet dares to threaten me?”

I shattered this undead with one blow.

Although there were many skeletons here, and if they could form a sea of undead, it would indeed be intimidating, but if they were all of this strength, then I’m sorry, this kind of ambush method is not qualified.

”That’s just how Necromancers are. Who would face you head-on? Aren’t puppets good? Just watch your ritual shatter! I know it’s not easy for your Witch Academy to hold a ritual either. Without this place, where else can you go? The elves’ World Tree? The Blood Clan’s Blood Pool? Or the Wizard Tower? Hahaha.”

The other party didn’t think that not showing their face was a bad thing.

It could be said that they had embodied the caution of a fragile spellcaster to the extreme.

”So you guys in the Fallen Land don’t have internet access? Or were you guys having so much fun in the Fallen Land that you don’t know what’s happening outside? What other tricks do you have, bring them out. I remember there are six academies in the Fallen Land, right? Why is it just you? Or is it that you’re the only fool here who’s planning to scheme against the Witch Academy?”

”Witch Academy... hehe! It’s not some unattainable academy. We, the Fallen Land, will join forces and trample you into the mud! Alright, since only one of you has come so far, then we’ll eliminate you first!”

”Come on.”

I shrugged and said, but my body was already prepared for battle.

”Lan Baihui, here’s a bottle of recovery potion for you. Protect yourself later.”

I threw it over and said.

Of course, that wasn’t a recovery potion.

I tore off the label.

If the other party drank it, they would most likely be poisoned.

”Okay.”

Lan Baihui replied, but did not drink it immediately.

Instead, she walked towards me, as if to fight side by side.

”Go to hell!”

With a low shout, words that were clearly not in Lan Baihui’s voice sounded, and a short dagger made of polished white bone stabbed towards me.

Ding!

With a crisp sound, the bone dagger was stuck on the local shield I cast and could not advance an inch.

At this moment, I turned around and grabbed the other party’s wrists holding the dagger.

I habitually used a restraint spell to restrict her hands, then swung my right hand and slapped her across the face.

Pa!

A crisp sound stunned ”Lan Baihui” a little, but the other party’s disguise technique was also rendered ineffective by my slap.

The other party also directly reverted to their original appearance.

Lan Baihui’s originally average looks now became enchanting, and her figure also became fiery.

A long, thin tail was exposed from behind, with a heart-shaped knot at the end of the tail.

”Tsk... a Succubus. No wonder she smells so slutty.”

With a disgusted look on my face, I sent the other party away with a Fireball.

This thing simply destroyed my beautiful fantasy of succubi.

The other party was sent to be resurrected before she could even say anything.

Such a turn of events made the Necromancer Academy student in the dark curse her as useless.

To be seen through even with such a good opportunity, what a useless person!

”Is that it? Is this it? Is this all you’ve got? After such a big formation, this is the result? What kind of stinky fish and rotten shrimp are the academies in the Fallen Land? I can accept the inferior methods, but they don’t even have the skills for it. What a joke.”

At this moment, I was frantically taunting.

Of course I wouldn’t underestimate the other party, which is why I was forcing out their remaining tricks like this.

”In that case, we won’t pretend anymore. This is the encirclement we deliberately left for Tan Han. Let’s let you have a taste of being besieged!”

As the other party announced through the puppet, I finally saw the ambush from the other academies hidden in the inconspicuous dark corners.

That one is an Imp, and the one as ugly as the Imp is a Little Devil.

I couldn’t distinguish between the Fallen Academy and the Undead Academy, but the guys from the Succubus Academy were easy to recognize.

”Wow, the academies in your Fallen Land are so harmonious? Can you even join forces?”

”Don’t think of us as so bad! We can... hehe, in short, come and experience the power of our Necromancer Academy, the Necro-bell Scourge!”

Following the words of that Necromancer, I heard the sound of a bell echoing here.

It seemed that there was more than one student from the Necromancer Academy.

But using the entire Fallen Land as an ambush, what are they after?

If they can unite, there must be a common goal, right?

At the very least, their interests must be the same.

”Scourge of the Undead? You dare to use such a name with just this? Are you that ignorant? Do you think your paltry tricks are worthy of such a name?”

Although I was saying this, the other party definitely wouldn’t be a pushover.

That bell sound was clearly a Necromantic artifact.

Something that couldn’t be done with one’s own power might be possible with the help of an external force like a magical artifact.

Are the weapons of the Necromancer Academy all so game-breaking?

I narrowed my eyes slightly.

The skeletons on the ground began to glow with undead fire under the sound of the bell.

The swaying white bones made dense, crisp sounds.

Even the skeleton frames on the Mountain of Remains that were still relatively intact were ”awakened.”

They climbed up in chaos, were endowed with a ”spiritual light” in the ringing of the bell, and swarmed towards me under command.

The ghastly white bones were like a flowing tide.

At this moment, just looking at this commotion, it could barely be considered a budget version of the ”Scourge of the Undead.”

Along with the tide-like sea of undead, the students from the other academies also came towards me under this great momentum.

This was a blatant siege against me!

And just as I was thinking about how to deal with these undead cannon fodder and the sneak attacks from the Fallen Land academies, I saw a black dot in the sky in the distance.

No Holy Light effect, can fly, and deliberately came here.

It seems that reinforcements have arrived.

Although I was not afraid of these undead and the guys from the other academies in the Fallen Land, this endless sea of undead would sooner or later exhaust my magic power.

If I couldn’t kill the guys controlling the undead before my magic power ran out, I might really be in danger.

Fighting alone was truly a disadvantage.

This kind of battle couldn’t provide me with any inspiration.

The tedious slaughter would only wear down my patience, and those undead couldn’t even provide me with points!

”Tan Han! This.”

After getting closer to the other party, I shouted out, and also attracted the other party’s attention.

Tan Han, who had hurried over, was also frightened by the scene at this moment.

The overwhelming number of undead was the most direct visual impact!

”Little Han, did you poke the necromancers’ nest by holding the Witch Tea Party here?”

”This isn’t my fault, I was an invitee too.”

I took out the invitation letter and waved it.

After all, I don’t like taking the blame, and I can’t let the other party misunderstand, right?

Am I the type who likes to cause trouble for others?

Although I have indeed caused a lot of trouble for the Witch Academy as a whole along the way, misunderstandings are absolutely not okay.

”Hmm?”

At this moment, Tan Han was also stunned, but she quickly reacted, and now was not the time to dwell on this.

Besides, it wasn’t just Tan Han alone at this moment.

Minian was also with Tan Han.

As for the other duo I had seen, maybe their speed wasn’t fast enough, and they hadn’t arrived yet.

I remember that neither of them had a flying license.
