Is It Weird for a Guy to Apply to a Witch School?

Chapter 120: The Fourth Member in the Villa

It’s actually getting late today, so let’s talk tomorrow.

Taking advantage of the last free day tomorrow, I will take you to experience the charm of the transcendent world.

Ji Niang glanced at the time and said, after all, the purpose of her visit had been achieved.

“Eh? Wait, teacher, you still haven’t told me what your research group is all about!”

I looked at Ji Niang who was about to leave and quickly asked.

After all, if I didn’t ask clearly about this kind of thing, wouldn’t it be like selling myself out?

Even if I were to die, I should at least die knowing why, right?

“Now that you mention it, that is indeed a problem. After all, I just registered this group with the academy yesterday. You are currently the only member of this group, and I am the group leader. Since that’s the case, let’s leave this question to you. You can propose it yourself, and I will conduct a feasibility assessment. Is that okay? Little Han, are you being too wary of me? This will greatly diminish my fondness for you, I hope you understand.”

“This…”

I wanted to say something more, but for a moment I didn’t know how to start.

Being suddenly told by Ji Niang that I was too wary of her, I had no way to refute it.

But now she had given the choice to me, so this was also a way to dispel my wariness.

This research group certainly wouldn’t focus its main research on my proposal; it should just be a start.

It should just be her way of appeasing me in the early stages.

But whatever the reason, I had to seize the benefits.

Since she had given me full authority, I wasn’t going to be polite with her.

If you were to ask what I wanted to know most right now, it would naturally be the Spellbook and Spirit Vision.

If possible, I hoped to deconstruct a Spellbook from the perspective of my Spirit Vision to understand its principles.

In an ideal situation, if I could fully grasp it, I would master the composition of spells, the internal logical principles of the Spellbook, and the correct way to use Spirit Vision as a tool.

What I cared about more was how to use the method of Spirit Vision.

Understanding the Spellbook was just an excuse, or rather, something incidental.

I just wanted to use this operation to familiarize myself with how to reasonably, quickly, and conveniently use my advantage.

With just a simple thought, the plan was set.

There was no backup plan.

If Ji Niang rejected my proposal, then I would express that I had nothing more to say.

If we didn’t conduct this research, then we could only proceed with the group research according to Ji Niang’s own ideas.

Or she could take the initiative to kick me out of the group, but my initial judgment was that she probably wouldn’t do that.

I even felt that this was the proposal Ji Niang expected me to make.

After all, I had no other choice, did I?

Spirit Vision was my greatest value, oh, and there was also Transcendent Knowledge.

After I finished reading all the information related to Earth Veins, I prepared to get up and go back, bringing a dinner back with me as well.

However, just as I arrived at the villa, I saw that it was brightly lit inside.

Although it was just after dinner time, the sky shouldn’t have been dark enough to require so many lights, right?

What a waste of magic power, huh?

I took out my key card and opened the villa door, and saw three people in the living room watching TV, talking and laughing.

My arrival plunged the room into an awkward atmosphere for a moment.

Only the TV, still playing a comedy, was acting out a plot that was old to me.

Three people in the living room.

I understood Dongli Yiren coming back early, and I also understood Guan Qiuling coming back quickly after finding a senior.

But who was this person in front of me with big pink waves in her hair and revealing clothes?

“Um Hi You must be my third roommate, right?”

In the end, it was the pink-haired girl who spoke first, “Let me introduce myself, I’m Hong Chenyi. According to your sequence, I should be the fourth newcomer to move in here.”

“Hello, my name is Yang Yuehan.”

Although I was also very surprised, since she said she was a member of this villa, I couldn’t really say anything.

I had thought she was a playmate Guan Qiuling brought from somewhere.

After all, the clothes she was wearing now really resembled what I saw those seniors wearing on Fengqing Street, really resembled...

“Hiya I heard them all call you Big Sis Xiao Han, so can I call you Big Sis Xiao Han too? Hehe, the three of us used to be boys, please take care of us in the future.”

Hong Chenyi said while putting her arm around Dongli Yiren’s shoulder like a close brother.

Guan Qiuling, being a bit shy, dodged it at once.

“Ah?”

I raised my eyebrows in shock, not just because Hong Chenyi admitted it so easily, but the key was how she persuaded Guan Qiuling to also admit she was a boy?

I looked at Guan Qiuling with confusion, and she lowered her head, not daring to look me in the eye.

“Eh? Big Sis Xiao Han, you don’t know yet? Tell me, which of my two brothers kept it from you, I can help lecture them a bit, do some psychological counseling.”

“No, I know everything. If I had to say there’s someone I don’t know, it would only be you.”

I quickly waved my hand to refuse the offer, “Pardon me for asking, but did you get your key card a long time ago but just haven’t come here?”

“Hmm? Eh? How did you know?”

Obviously, Hong Chenyi didn’t expect me to ask this suddenly, and even her tone of voice wasn’t as confident as before.

“It really is you? Where have you been all this time?”

I raised an eyebrow slightly.

I didn’t expect this Hong Chenyi to really be my missing roommate.

If she wasn’t living here, where was she living?

Sleeping on the streets?

That can’t be right...

“I um, went to work. They provided food and lodging there. Aiya, that’s about it, haha um, that’s not important, not important let’s change the subject, shall we?”

Hong Chenyi quickly explained, but it was very perfunctory, and she even started to change the subject directly.

“Alright, it’s personal privacy after all, I won’t ask anymore. Forget it, school will officially start after tomorrow. By the way, have you guys checked which class you’ve been assigned to? Have you contacted your teacher?”

I could naturally tell that Hong Chenyi was intentionally hiding something, but it wasn’t good to press further.

After all, curiosity can kill the cat.

If the relationship with my roommates became awkward, my daily life would also become very boring.

Although my relationship with my two roommates was already very awkward.

“Ah? Class assignment? Where do you check that?”

Hong Chenyi quickly picked up my topic.

Although it was suspicious that she wanted to move past the previous topic quickly, she really didn’t seem to know about this.

“How can someone still not know?”

I looked up at Hong Chenyi, my face full of confusion.

The notification on the academy phone was sent so long ago.

Even if she didn’t know, at this point, wasn’t she anxious?

Didn’t she ask anyone?

To stay at the academy for so long without knowing her class assignment, she really was carefree.

My gaze then turned to Dongli Yiren and Guan Qiuling, also with the intention of asking.

“I’m in Class 105, I’ve said it before.”

Dongli Yiren spoke first.

“I’m in Class 55.”

This was Guan Qiuling.

My gaze finally landed on Hong Chenyi again, as if asking, how is it that only you don’t know?

Are you even a student of Witch Academy?
