The Cheat Emperor of the Culinary World

Master Chen looked at Fu Yu.

The light in his eyes slowly turned deep.

He suddenly realized something very alarming.

Since Fu Yu could observe his own operations, accurately identify his shortcomings, remind, and help him realize them, leading to the ultimate breakthrough.

Doesn’t that also mean that Fu Yu has already mastered all the roasting techniques proficiently?

And integrated them, reaching the top level?

Thinking of this, Master Chen swallowed subconsciously!

Back when he went to Qianlima to teach roasting, Fu Yu clearly didn’t understand anything about it.

It was he who personally guided Fu Yu step by step, and all of Fu Yu’s roasting techniques at the time were taught by him...

What kind of extraordinary talent is this!

Master Chen couldn’t help but feel emotional.

However, thinking of Fu Yu’s talent for innovation in dishes and his considerable skill in presentation.

Master Chen suddenly realized!

Perhaps Fu Yu’s youth allows him to accept new things quickly, making his thinking flexible and his ideas novel.

With the same cooking skill, he always comes up with some more unique ideas than others.

Looking at the young and handsome Fu Yu, Master Chen couldn’t help but let out a long sigh in his heart.

People ultimately do care about talent.

Effort alone is not enough; you also need to find the right direction to move forward.

As long as the direction is correct, you will succeed sooner or later!

Finally flipping the grilled fish over, it was done.

The next second, an electronic notification sounded in Fu Yu’s ear:

[Ding! Task from NPC Chef Chen Chen: Assist Chen Chen in breaking through the barbecue skill level to reach advanced, successfully completed. Reward received: Skill points +3]

Fu Yu raised an eyebrow slightly, looking at Master Chen with some satisfaction.

It seems that Master Chen has successfully broken through the bottleneck and advanced to a higher level.

Fu Yu was genuinely happy for Master Chen.

In his joy, he couldn’t help but take a look at his attribute panel.

The skill points section clearly showed: 20

He had actually accumulated 20 skill points already.

However, Fu Yu did not rush to level up, as skill points are precious and should be saved for critical moments.

Fu Yu now has a certain amount of experience.

The system never gives random tasks.

If an upgrade is needed, there will definitely be a corresponding task assigned. If not, it means these skill points have other uses.

Anyway, many of the cooking-related skills have already advanced, so when faced with a complicated dish, he won’t be at a loss, unsure of what to do.

He had a grilled fish as an extra meal at noon.

In the evening, after the chaos at the hot station died down, without waiting for Zhang Zhen to finish his work and come over, Fu Yu took the initiative to greet him and went over to the barbecue area to pick up tasks.

The barbecue takeout at the music restaurant was doing quite well.

Mainly because the restaurant always followed a high-end exquisite route, leaving customers with the impression of high consumption and good service.

Correspondingly, to achieve this level of pricing, both the quality of the ingredients and the hygiene must surely be more guaranteed than those small street eateries.

When Fu Yu went to the barbecue area, Master Chen was busy grilling while the order slips were already stacked five deep on the kitchen wall.

Fu Yu came to complete tasks, so he didn’t waste any time, proactively offering to help grill.

Master Chen was delighted but said helplessly, ”This order from a customer includes fifty skewers of lamb, five grilled flatbreads, and three portions of grilled chives. The grill is fully occupied. The rest of the barbecue can only be put on the grill after this order is done.”

Grilled flatbreads and grilled chives take up the most space.

With one grill lined with five flatbreads, there was basically no room for anything else.

And the grilled chives laid flat on the grill rack would take up a third of the space when placed on the grill.

Since he was there, and there was no chance to help with the grilling, Fu Yu didn’t remain idle and went over to help the helpers with marinating works.

There were three helpers in the barbecue area.

Although called helpers, they were actually kitchen assistants. One older helper was an apprentice trained by Master Chen and would help at the grill when things got too busy.

The other two younger ones would run errands and learn.

Usually, they would stay by Master Chen’s side, taking turns helping to hand things over and process ingredients.

Fu Yu treated these three people kindly.

Influenced by Master Chen’s respect for Fu Yu’s culinary skills and Fu Yu’s courteous manner, they quickly warmed up to him.

Therefore, when they heard that Fu Yu wanted to help with marinating, the older helper hurriedly brought over a new pair of gloves and voluntarily offered his assistance.

He didn’t let Fu Yu get involved in any of the simple tasks.

The ingredients were ready and the spices were familiarized, with their specific locations noted.

After completing the necessary preparations, Fu Yu began marinating.

Soon, he was about to complete 500 grilling tasks and receive a reward, so Fu Yu was in a great mood.

Meanwhile, over at the hot station, Zhang Zhen finished his tasks and made detailed arrangements for everything in the back kitchen before coming over to the barbecue area.

With time to spare before the end of the shift, Zhang Zhen decided to come over and bond with Fu Yu.

The interaction between people is important in communication.

The more you talk and interact, the deeper the relationship becomes.

Zhang Zhen had been in a particularly good mood recently.

Ever since he learned that the barbecue for the Qianlima takeout review was done by Fu Yu.

Zhang Zhen was thrilled with his accurate judgment.

He was indeed great at spotting talent, with a keen eye!

He always knew that Fu Yu was no ordinary talent.

Look at this!

Even a skill like barbecuing, learned midway, he could reach such a level in a short time.

What does that say?

It says Fu Yu is a culinary genius!

Talented!

Hardworking!

Lucky!

Able to seize opportunities!

If someone like that still can’t succeed, what must the heavens be like?

Zhang Zhen was very rational about his own culinary skills.

He didn’t have much talent, but he reached his position through cleverness and good networking.

However, as he aged, he became increasingly aware that to maintain a firm position in the kitchen, improving his culinary skills was the only way.

Otherwise, someday, if someone suddenly appeared who was skilled in cooking, clever, and good at management, could he retain his position as the head chef?

Seeing Master Chen in the barbecue area, stressed by Fu Yu’s outstanding performance and practicing his grilling skills diligently every day.

Zhang Zhen wasn’t idle either.

Live and learn.

Old sayings hold true at all times.

That’s why Zhang Zhen had been diligently honing his culinary skills during this time.

No longer shirking responsibilities, he did everything himself.

Who knows what he had gone through during this time, or how exhausted he had become!
