The Cheat Emperor of the Culinary World

Master Sun looked at Fu Yu, unable to hide his surprised expression.

Though he had heard early on that the chef responsible for grilling at Qianlima was a young cook, he never expected him to be this young.

He looked to be at most in his early twenties.

”Ah, so it’s Chef Fu! Hello, I’ve heard a lot about you!”

Master Sun had a very good impression of Fu Yu, even a hint of admiration.

Back when there was a barbecue takeaway review, he had specially watched the replay.

Qianlima’s takeaway barbecue indeed had a very unique presentation. Even though the aroma of the dishes couldn’t be smelled through the screen and couldn’t be tasted, the visual effect alone made Qianlima stand out.

When the three streamers tried the food, their reviews of the barbecue takeaway from each restaurant were so professional that even industry insiders found it immersive.

Watching till the end, Master Sun couldn’t help but admire Qianlima’s barbecue takeaway, especially the barbecue chef whose skills seemed insurmountable.

How skillful must this person be at barbecuing?

Furthermore, be it the handling of ingredients, plating techniques, or even sauce seasoning, it was all so refined and perfect.

Master Sun had always wanted to meet Qianlima’s barbecue chef, and now unexpectedly he really did.

What a surprise!

Totally unexpected!

Though Master Sun was never one to judge by appearance, the person in front of him was indeed very young.

So young that it’s almost unbelievable he could possess such culinary prowess.

After all, the chef industry is unlike others, to hone exquisite cooking skills, besides diligent study and practice, time accumulation is essential.

There’s really no shortcut.

No matter how talented, one can at best master skills earlier than others.

But for Chef Fu, to produce such perfect barbecue at this age, his talent must be extraordinary!

Master Sun stared at Fu Yu, his eyes blazing, ”Ever since I watched the live video of that barbecue review, I’ve been really wanting to meet you. It’s astonishing to find you so young and strikingly handsome! Totally unexpected!”

Fu Yu felt somewhat embarrassed by the compliment and quickly greeted with a smile, ”Chef Sun, hello. Chef Luo brought me over, intending to introduce me to you!”

Master Sun instantly understood.

Unaware earlier it was Fu Yu, he was somewhat surprised to see Luo Rang bringing a stranger into the back kitchen.

Turns out it was a special visit to meet him.

Master Sun was very pleased, ”Oh, look at this, I didn’t know either! Let’s chat more when we have time. I’m particularly interested in the sauce you made; I heard that improved classic sauce of your restaurant was your new formulation?”

Fu Yu nodded, ”Yes.”

Master Sun immediately said, ”The taste is really special; I never thought classical sauces could be improved. You’re so imaginative and incredible!”

Only then did Fu Yu realize that Master Sun had privately tasted their restaurant’s barbecue seafood.

Luo Rang laughed, ”The day after the review stream, many from our restaurant ordered Qianlima’s seafood takeaway, and it indeed lives up to its reputation.”

Fu Yu couldn’t help but laugh, ”No wonder our restaurant’s takeout orders spiked in the following days.”

The three of them exchanged a few jokes as Master Sun plated the grilled lamb spine and replaced the old grill.

Immediately, a helper came over, quickly placing the grilled lamb spine on the serving counter.

The serving staff who had been waiting anxiously felt relieved instantly.

The restaurant’s business is usually good, but today customers were exceptionally abundant.

The waiting time was too long, making the patrons agitated, and many service and serving staff were being chased by customers to serve faster, practically overwhelmed.

The server swiftly grabbed the tray and turned to walk outside.

As she urgently walked away, a hurried figure rushed in from the door, and the two narrowly missed a collision.

The server exclaimed in surprise, instinctively stepping back.

As a result, the person was avoided, but the inertia sent the tray of lamb spine flying.

The perfectly grilled three large skewers of lamb spine fell straight to the ground.

The server stared dazed at the empty tray in her hand, then looked at the skewers on the ground, completely dumbfounded.

”This...”

”What to do!”

If the customers hadn’t been urging, she wouldn’t have rushed so much.

Great! The hard-earned grilled lamb spine was ruined!

Once food touches the ground, it’s certainly unusable.

Grilling a set of lamb spine quickly takes over ten minutes, while she could wait, the customers certainly couldn’t!

”Oh dear! This, I’m sorry!”

The person who came in was also stunned by the sight.

The server, anxious and frustrated, gave the person an irritated look, ”What’s the use of apologizing now! Really!!”

After speaking, her eyes turned red.

The server helplessly looked at Master Sun, ”Chef Sun, what do we do! This...”

Master Sun frowned, unable to bring himself to reprimand after seeing the girl’s teary eyes.

”Alright, it’s done, I’ll grill another set.”

The assistant immediately spoke, ”But Chef Sun, the last set was five-spice! The ones on the racks now are all spicy!”

Those already grilling cannot be moved; the newly available spot was originally meant for fresh lamb spine, now it must be occupied again.

Hearing this, the server became anxious, ”Master Sun, my customer’s order has been urged multiple times, it really can’t be delayed.”

Master Sun helplessly said, ”This order is urgent too, the customer even canceled once before; dragging it longer might lead to trouble!”

Luo Rang couldn’t help but ask, ”Chef Sun, where’s Xiaohao?”

Usually, Master Sun and Xiaohao work together at the barbecue station.

Master Sun sighed, ”Xiaohao’s family has an issue, he’s taken a day off today.”

Then he grumbled, ”You know, it’s strange. The business is normally good but not this hectic. The fewer people we have, the more orders pile up!”

All are dine-in patrons, none can be offended.

Master Sun checked the lamb spine on the grill.

Goodness!

All had just been placed; it would take at least ten minutes.

Though there’s an empty grill, normally he and Xiaohao each handle two grills.

With Xiaohao absent, managing three grills alone is already the limit; any more would be unmanageable.

Barbecuing is unlike other cooking methods; if the heat and timing aren’t managed well, the entire dish could be ruined.

The kitchen helper beside asked, ”Master Sun, what should we do now?”

Master Sun was feeling a headache.

What to do!

How could anyone know what to do!

”How about I give it a try?”

Fu Yu’s offer of assistance seemed like music to the ears!

Chef Sun looked at Fu Yu with a delighted expression, ”Chef Fu, you’re willing to help?”

Fu Yu nodded, ”Yes.”

He was already standing here and witnessing the difficulty; it wouldn’t be fair to not lend a hand.

Besides, he had a task with him.
