The Cheat Emperor of the Culinary World

Yao Shi sent off the people from the police station.

Fu Yu went back to the kitchen. Just as he left the VIP room, he ran into Qu Jing who had returned.

”What, it seemed like that old lady took a liking to you just now!”

Fu Yu shook his head: ”No such thing, it was just a joke.”

Qu Jing laughed and said: ”As long as it’s fine. Let me tell you, I was in the banquet hall just now, and I saw that female police officer grab an arm and pin the suspect to the ground, completely immobilizing them! So impressive!”

Fu Yu was amused: ”Whether she’s impressive or not has nothing to do with me.”

But Qu Jing said: ”However, this female police officer looks like she should be quite good-looking.”

Fu Yu was genuinely surprised: ”You can tell that too?”

When the female police officer had entered the room earlier, if she hadn’t spoken, Fu Yu would have never guessed she was in disguise.

The makeup on her face and her outfit were incredibly realistic.

Qu Jing smiled mysteriously: ”This is what you don’t understand. We women can see through makeup like using a makeup removal app. This female police officer looks exactly like her mother, whether it’s the face shape, features, or body shape, they are all very similar!”

Fu Yu was simply amazed.

His impression of Liu Nuannuan was just one of an old appearance.

Whenever he thought of Liu Nuannuan in disguise, all other thoughts vanished instantly.

Fu Yu went back to the kitchen and joined the others in preparing two evening banquets.

Since they were small packages, together they weren’t even half the workload of a regular large package.

So, when all the dishes were arranged, it was only five o’clock.

There wasn’t much work in the kitchen, so everyone relaxed.

However, Fu Yu was concerned about the task he received from Yao Shi earlier, which he hadn’t completed in several days.

He was still looking forward to what the random reward might be!

So, as everyone had nothing to do, Fu Yu discussed with Zhang Zhen about learning the Three Turn Banquet.

Upon hearing this, Zhang Zhen quickly said: ”Alright! Let’s learn it now! We haven’t decided on dinner yet, we’ll learn while cooking, and when we’re done learning, we can eat!”

Everyone else was delighted to hear they could eat the Three Turn Banquet for dinner!

Many people hadn’t even heard of this banquet.

Zhang Zhen, on his part, gave instructions, and the assistants immediately got busy.

Some prepared ingredients, others cleaned utensils.

Even the two head chefs, Chef Lin and Chef Liu, didn’t stay idle. Hearing they needed things from the pastry section, they personally went over and brought everything back.

Fu Yu actually quite liked the atmosphere in the kitchen of the music restaurant.

Because there was no involvement in competitive interests, the relationship between the two head chefs was very harmonious.

Under the direction of head chef Zhang Zhen, everything was orderly and progressing step by step.

Whether it was the interpersonal atmosphere or the working environment, it made Fu Yu increasingly yearn.

He thought more than once that as long as Zhao Meng beckoned, he would gladly follow him over to change jobs.

The challenge of the Three Turn Banquet lay in its variety of styles and dishes that were uncommon.

Yao Shi got wind of Fu Yu teaching the Three Turn Banquet and specifically called Ren Mingqing over to learn the Tea Banquet.

The noodles in these dishes, in the end, had to be handed over to the pastry section.

When Ren Mingqing first heard about the Three Turn Banquet, he was somewhat surprised.

He had merely heard from others that there was a traditional banquet in Baishui called the Three Turn Banquet.

He had never seen it before.

Now hearing that not only did Fu Yu know how to make it, but also made it very authentically, Ren Mingqing became instantly enthusiastic.

He not only came himself but also brought along some skilled workers under him.

Now that Fu Yu was making the Three Turn Banquet, he was well-practiced.

Tea Banquet’s sesame flavors, crisp dumplings, plum blossom pastries, snow-draped haws, mini crunch twists, and little pastries.

He cooked one dish after another.

Ren Mingqing was watching with shining eyes.

He could see that Fu Yu had further improved his pastry techniques.

And it wasn’t a minor improvement, but a qualitative leap!

The skilled techniques, the precise control of dough resting time, and the perfect molding pressure were all handled extremely accurately.

Ren Mingqing even felt that Fu Yu, in some aspects, had vaguely surpassed him.

The lack was nothing more than the experience gained from long-term accumulation.

After observing the Tea Banquet, Ren Mingqing and his group didn’t hurry to leave.

Taking the opportunity, everyone divided and ate up the six plates of pastries.

After tasting, they finally understood the delicacy of the Tea Banquet; it was rich but not greasy, alleviating hunger without overfilling during casual chats.

This first small banquet already gave everyone a hint of the charm of the Three Turn Banquet.

The subsequent Wine Banquet and Meal Banquet, Fu Yu continued to teach while cooking.

Zhang Zhen and the others watched and learned with concentration.

The other dishes weren’t particularly difficult to learn, except for the money-string apple skewers.

The apple slices dipped in syrup were genuinely impossible to knot!

Everyone watched as Fu Yu’s fingers skillfully and deftly tied two sets of apple skewers.

Immediately, they felt that truly those were real hands.

Theirs must be prosthetic limbs.

The clumsiness was simply unbearable to watch!

After tying a whole package of haw rolls incorrectly, Ren Mingqing finally came up with an idea.

Use syrup to stick the apple slices together, then arrange the haw roll pieces into a bow shape and fix them at the junction of the apple slices with syrup.

At first glance, it looked like the haw rolls were tied to the apple skewers, and when lifted, they connected three apple slices into a string.

Both aesthetically pleasing and convenient, with little impact on taste.

Everyone thought this idea was great.

Fu Yu also found it favorable.

Yet, he wondered if such a modification would affect task completion.

Fortunately.

After he finished making the last dish, the minced dumplings.

The next second, a digital notification sounded in his ear:

[Ding! NPC Chef Yao Shi’s task: Successfully teach the kitchen chefs at the music restaurant the cooking method of the Three Turn Banquet, has been completed. Reward received: Time management skills.]

Fu Yu was stunned.

Time management skills?

He then had a lightbulb moment, thinking about when the order list got too long, how he often arranged tasks out of order to squeeze in time.

If it’s as he thought, this time management skill could be very powerful!

Fu Yu chose to check it out.

[Time Management Skills: The quadrant method, dealing with tasks by classifying them into urgent and important, important but not urgent, urgent but not important, and neither urgent nor important types to arrange the cooking sequence and steps more efficiently, shortening the completion time for each dish. Time management skills aren’t about completing everything but using time more effectively.]

Perfect!

This means, when he receives three order lists at once, he can immediately determine which dish to cook first, and at which step to spare time for another dish.

Based on Fu Yu’s understanding of the system.

This time management skill will undoubtedly maximize time-saving efforts!

Thinking about it, Fu Yu couldn’t help but feel gleeful.

This skill is simply perfect.

The key is it’s extremely practical!

He always knew the random reward would be something good!

This time, he hit the jackpot again!
