Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven

Chapter 438: The Thought Channel Frequency Comprehended, Origin Line frequency

A spaceship tore through space and time as it leaped through the starry sky, making the planets and stars look like nothing but streaks of light sweeping past the windows of the massive vessel.

Within the huge spaceship, inside the luxurious quarters, a young man who looked to be around seventeen or eighteen sat cross-legged on a bed.

”Thought-Demolishing...” Grey mumbled under his breath. As information constantly entered his mind, his Endless Potential Physique worked overtime, drawing the hidden gates of the Information Layer toward him.

Grey’s eyes snapped open as the final notification from his Chaos Lotus rang out.

”It is done,” Grey said, an excited look on his face.

He had finally managed to comprehend the frequency of willpower: the literal act of manifesting your thoughts into reality. This was a terrifying power. Perhaps not even a 6th Ranker possessed it! And now he had perfectly channeled it into the Thought-Demolishing Frequency.

”Can I actively use this power right now?” Grey wondered thoughtfully.

Frequencies were vastly different from usual powers. They severely altered reality itself, and it was more like natively owning a conceptual law rather than taking it from an external source.

He would strictly need his own Source to fully utilize these frequencies, primarily because this was not taking from another well of power, but rather drawing directly from himself.

And now that he had successfully comprehended the Thought-Demolishing Frequency, he wanted to immediately move on to the next one. While he was comprehending it, he had managed to sense another distinct frequency channel.

It was called the Origin Line Frequency. The sheer information it contained left him quite baffled.

Once fully comprehended, this frequency allowed him to physically see the Origin Line of absolutely everything and anything. From the Origin Line of an incoming attack, a living person, a conceptual law, or even the universe, its planets, and stars. He could see all of them. By finding the foundational line, he could inflict direct damage to it and cut it off permanently.

Once the line was cut, the target would be permanently deleted from existence.

He had found this specific frequency deep within the Chaos Source Codex. He was parallel processing with the real world and the Codex to search for new frequencies while simultaneously comprehending the Thought-Demolishing Frequency from the channel he had created earlier.

And now that he had found it, Grey wasted absolutely no time. He swiftly began comprehending this wondrous power.

Speaking of which, this power heavily reminded him of the True Origin Insight he already possessed. It was one of the many heaven-defying powers he had obtained right after waking up in this world, and it originally allowed him to see the weak points of magical formations.

But this Origin Line Frequency was a massive step further. It could see the absolute weak point of everything in existence.

As the golden notifications continued descending into Grey’s mind, he became completely engrossed in the Origin Line Frequency.

His deep understanding of it rose by massive leaps and bounds in mere minutes. His Endless Potential power worked actively alongside his heaven-defying comprehension, seamlessly granting him a state of immense enlightenment.

Yet at the exact same time that Grey was deeply engrossed in comprehension, base reality right beside him began to violently glitch once again. A glowing purple crown made entirely out of stars appeared right above his head.

Bzzt!

The spatial fabric around him shook as an ancient power began to leak out of it.

[Your comprehension defies the Heavens! By observing the Frequency of Finality, you have gained insight into the Law of Finality and the Frequency of Finality.]

”Huh?” Grey opened his eyes wide with a completely baffled look on his face. But by the time he opened his eyes and connected his mind perception, the mysterious crown and the glitched reality had already disappeared into thin air.

”What the hell?” Grey thought he was sensing things wrong.

Just now, he clearly felt a massive influx of foreign information related to Finality suddenly appear in his mind, and the Chaos Lotus perfectly confirmed that it was absolutely not fake.

”Why did I randomly gain insight into Finality?” Grey was left completely speechless.

”Could it be that the bizarre thing I saw from the Chaos Source Codex actually did merge with me?” Grey’s face immediately became pale.

But he could not sense anything at all! This did not make any logical sense! He frantically looked around everywhere, yet he still could not find a single trace of it.

”Damn... am I being actively haunted by Finality right now?” Grey’s lips twitched violently.

Then, he let out a heavy sigh.

But one thing was certain. It did not necessarily affect him directly or harm his foundation. Rather, it was passively feeding him highly relevant, supreme information related to Finality.

That, he did not actually mind. Finality. He was deeply interested in this ultimate concept.

The endless reality and this current world... both of them were inevitably marching toward Finality. If he successfully comprehended this supreme power, maybe he could fully understand the hidden cosmic reasons behind it all.

Once again, Grey calmed his mind and went right back to comprehending the Origin Line Frequency.
