Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven

Chapter 421: A powerful origin seed expert

”Please take me in as your disciple!” The Blacksmith Grandmaster of the Profession Guild, the fabled master that was deeply revered across all of the Milky Way Galaxy, bent ninety degrees, cupped his hands out in absolute respect, and spoke.

”Master?” Seeing this, John was completely dumbfounded.

He knew perfectly well there were many prying eyes on them. Although the livestream here was temporarily cut off due to the spatial turbulence, it was now back online and actively being broadcasted across the entirety of the Filmora Planet. Furthermore, there were powerful experts floating outside the skyscraper, actively using their divine consciousness to pry inside.

He swiftly cut absolutely everything off, violently blocking the prying gazes and forcefully terminating the live stream.

This absolutely could not be streamed to the entire planet. It was his esteemed master’s dignity at risk here!

”Disciple?” Hearing this sudden request, Grey was entirely taken aback.

For a long moment, he simply did not know whether to laugh or cry.

Why was it that people who were part of the Profession Guild always desperately wanted to become his disciple? First, it was Werner, and now it was a fabled Origin Seed Realm expert who was, without a doubt, physically stronger than him.

Of course, thinking about it logically, it made perfect sense. His heaven-defying comprehension was a literal cheat. He had instantly comprehended a supreme technique never before seen in the Milky Way Galaxy and managed to flawlessly reach the Peerless grade with just one hundred moves of his hammer. Others would normally take a thousand grueling turns, and that was completely without the guaranteed critical hit effect that he natively possessed.

Basically speaking, they would need to hone their craft for centuries to even reach his current level. But his unique critical hit mechanic allowed him to effortlessly skip all of that hard work and do it instantly.

It was quite impressive, and he honestly liked the job of a blacksmith very much. It gave him a highly refreshing feeling. His entire physical body was being pushed and put to the absolute test with each rapid refinement simply because of the Origin Will’s massive cosmic resistance.

”I am deeply sorry, but I am not looking into taking a disciple right now. I have much more important matters at hand,” Grey politely declined.

Of course, he was just being as lazy as he could get. He wanted to spend his free time with his two girls, and whenever he was completely free, he would look deeper into his Nexus Path and the Chaos Source Codex. Life was truly good for him right now.

”Please reconsider,” Carter pleaded with a newly found, burning resolve.

He had witnessed the young man’s supreme technique with his own two eyes. His proficient control and the terrifying power that forcefully subdued the Origin Will itself... it was completely perfect. There was absolutely no room for error there.

Such a godly level of blacksmithery, he had never seen before in his entire life!

He absolutely had to learn from this hidden expert.

If this man could effortlessly create a Peerless grade out of a low-grade ore, then it might be entirely possible for him to create one out of a mid-grade ore as well!

He himself could only successfully forge up to the middle grade of a standard low-grade ore.

To someone obsessively pursuing the grand art of blacksmithery, constantly improving was always his ultimate goal.

But it had to be mentioned, there was currently no one who was more knowledgeable than him in the entire Milky Way Galaxy regarding blacksmithery.

Seeing it in action, a layman might foolishly think it was easy. But every single micro-movement while hitting the anvil counted, and one single wrong move could completely destroy the precious ore.

”I already told you no,” Grey said with twitching lips.

Carter Smith was extremely strong. Just being close to him, Grey could actively sense the deadly, dormant power the other party possessed. He was at least a middle-stage Origin Seed Realm expert. If he had to guess, the Grandmaster had been hiding his true cultivation very deeply until now. But his heaven-defying perception managed to pick it up quickly.

”Please, you do not have to do it for free. You can simply become my hired teacher, and I will pay you handsomely in return,” Carter thought for a moment and spoke rapidly. ”And after that initial phase, if you still do not want to take me as an official disciple, then that is completely fine by me.”

”I am highly willing to share many high-grade Origin Treasures,” he added enticingly.

”Origin Treasures?” Grey’s eyes lit up immediately.

A greedy, small smile unconsciously broke out on his face, but he forcefully held it in.

Right. This old man was a fabled, wealthy existence. He must carry a massive amount of rare things with him.

Would taking him under his tutelage not only be highly beneficial for his own wallet?

Grey sighed heavily and then slowly patted Carter’s broad shoulder.

”Fine, I will officially accept you as my disciple,” Grey spoke with a long, reluctant sigh. ”I am usually a very busy individual, but if you perform well, then I will not mind teaching you a thing or two.”

”Thank you for taking me under your grand tutelage.” Carter bowed deeply once more, and then a look of slight hesitation appeared on his face. ”Teacher, how may I respectfully address you?”

”Grey Lockhart.”

....

A few hours later.

”Teacher Grey, every premium sweet of the Filmora Planet has been securely packed,” John stood respectfully by the side and spoke.

”We can safely take this back to Star Blue immediately,” John added helpfully.

”Good,” Grey nodded in satisfaction.

Grey stood looking out the massive windows on the top floor of the skyscraper. On the side, Werner and Carter were excitedly exchanging professional words, while he was casually chatting with the High Marshal of Arcane, John.

”To think you would actually be the lord of the mysterious planet that entirely swallowed the Three-Planet Alliance,” John said with a heavy sigh.

He was naturally highly aware of such massive events happening near his territory of the Astral Genesis Citadel. But other cosmic factions naturally had the ultimate freedom to do so. And from Eterna’s official system, it was made completely clear to him that this other party was a prestigious 5th Rank citizen, exactly like him.

And now that his esteemed master, who had raised him to his current height, had willingly become this young man’s direct disciple, he would naturally treat the other party with the utmost respect.

”The Filmora Planet is not bad,” Grey said with a light chuckle. ”I like its atmosphere very much.”

He was, in fact, secretly thinking of how to completely turn this prosperous planet into an orbiting ring for Star Blue.

But he wasn’t sure if John will allow this or not.

John was absolutely not a bad fellow. They casually exchanged a few words and mostly kept to themselves. He only politely asked where Star Blue originally emerged from. And since he was the High Marshal of Arcane of the Astral Genesis Citadel faction, he naturally had the administrative duty to ask about it.

To this inquiry, Grey just casually replied that his planet was forcefully swept here by the spatial turbulence, and the other party bought it incredibly easily. That was the only logical, acceptable answer after all.

Soon, Grey received a mental call from the girls.

Seeing this, he turned and spoke. ”Let’s head out.”

John, Werner, and Carter nodded simultaneously.

Since a grand occasion like this had occurred, they wanted to formally pay a visit to the Star Blue planet that this terrifying man currently controlled as well.

Swoosh! The sleek spaceship shot rapidly toward the exact location where he had originally dropped off the girls. He smoothly opened the heavy doors of the spaceship as they landed.

As soon as the new guests entered the vessel, their jaws collectively dropped.

Grey turned to the girls and smiled brightly.

”Allow me to officially introduce two new members. This is the High Marshal of Arcane of the Astral Genesis Citadel, an early Origin Seed Realm expert. And this is my brand new disciple, Carter Smith, the fabled Blacksmith Grandmaster of the Milky Way Galaxy, a middle-stage Origin Seed Realm expert.”

”...” The girls’ lips violently twitched in unison.

It was glaringly obvious that they were Origin Seed Realm experts. Their ambient auras were just a bit too terrifying to ignore.
