Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven

Chapter 412: Blood tribulation, trait amplification

Whrummm!

The elixir fields in his body began to rapidly swell and expand. The cells within him aggressively activated as a terrifying silver-purple brilliance drilled directly into the void.

”Is Grey undergoing another transformation?” Werner, Bai Yue, Valeria, and Eterna were equally speechless seeing this.

”Did he not break through just three days ago?”

Was breaking through ranks really this easy?

Boom!

Outer space was violently split apart as a massive cloud began to gather in the endless expanse of the starry sky.

It completely covered all of the newly expanded Blue Star.

Bzzt!

The heavenly tribulation struck down instantly.

Seeing this, his Nexus Domain Force, which had recently increased in pure essence, erupted upward and violently clashed against the descending tribulation.

Through the fierce clash, the tribulation power was actively filtered down to stable levels and smoothly sent into his physical body.

Bzzt!

Tribulation lightning erupted all around him. Within seconds, it had deeply penetrated his very cells.

It crackled with a terrifying intensity as a profound biological change was slowly triggered.

The Bloodline Tribulation. It dealt specifically with the absolute purity of his genetic bloodline.

With this specific tribulation, he would without a doubt grow drastically stronger. If there were any hidden traits lurking in his DNA, they would be forcefully awakened. And if there were not any, his already existing physical attributes would get massively amplified!

One by one, the tribulation bolts struck down with immense momentum. Eventually, what felt like a physical limiter on his very genes completely shattered, causing his existence to violently rise several levels at once.

Boom!

A massive shockwave spread across the void, physically sweeping the 5th Rank experts away from the point of impact as a terrifying aura slowly bubbled out from Grey.

Right now, a true qualitative transformation was happening. It originated directly from the combat amplification trait of his primordial human bloodline.

His white hair whipped around violently as the chaotic aura around him erupted. Immediately, his long hair grew even longer, gaining deep, vibrant streaks of purple across the inner strands.

”This is a one hundred percent increase from before,” Grey mused, slightly surprised by the sheer volume of power coursing through his body.

His time-related draconic abilities were also massively amplified. He could now actively stop time for twelve full seconds without any strain just by using his innate draconic talent.

And with his divine abilities, he could now summon significantly more Hell Gates at once.

And the unique weapon trait he had not utilized up until now also seemed to have gained some sort of profound transformation.

It was a core part of one of the human transformation techniques he had fully comprehended back when he was at the 2nd Rank. He had simply never bothered using it until now.

It was a highly interesting ability. It allowed an Evolver to permanently forge a soul weapon that would actively grow stronger alongside them.

When thinking about weapons, the one thing Grey always loved using as an Evolver was a reliable sword.

Then, should he not just go for it?

Without any hesitation, he began to visualize a perfect sword in his mind.

Swoosh!

The void softly trembled as a brilliant purple radiance erupted directly in front of Grey.

Soon, an obsidian-purple sword covered in glowing, silver circuit-like lines fully materialized in front of him.

”Not bad,” Grey smiled in satisfaction.

A dedicated weapon was an absolute necessity for all Evolvers, especially when they reached the 5th Rank. It could make a huge difference in actual combat.

Funneling Domain Force directly into the sword floating in front of him could drastically cut the overall usage cost in the long run. It could deliver a lethal strike just as fast as his bare fists. Furthermore, the newly forged sword also possessed physical synchronization. For some profound reason, its base durability and striking power perfectly followed the raw strength of his physical body, which was absolutely not bad at all in his opinion.

Weapons were also incredibly effective for shattering high-ranking conceptual defensive powers.

And likewise, if a being relied entirely on bare brute force for a prolonged battle, their energy drain would without a doubt be astronomical. But with a proper sword, that drain could be heavily reduced. He could spend vastly less energy while still perfectly maintaining his lethal output.

”For now, let’s call it the Origin Breaker,” Grey smiled.

The other thing that got a direct, massive buff was his Armament, the ultimate defensive technique of a true Abyssal Lord.

It experienced a qualitative leap in both raw strength and absolute defense.

With those thoughts securely in mind, he turned his gaze toward the hovering experts.

”For now, all of you watch out for any news related to the nearby galaxies and the public spread of the Aether Evolutionary Path,” Grey commanded. ”I am going to actively stabilize my powers for a bit.”

The experts nodded immediately and did exactly as he instructed.

Grey, on the other hand, descended back down to the Blue Star.

He quickly informed the others about his required stabilization and immediately entered his personal sub-dimension to properly stabilize his cultivation base.

It should realistically take an hour or two at best.

He had been deliberately stalling this stabilization process for a while now. He had not properly done it after the Willpower Tribulation either.

And as for his overall foundation, it had forcefully fallen back below one percent due to the massive breakthrough. He would have to gather resources to increase it swiftly.

And this time around, just one single Foundation Cluster would definitely not be enough. He would absolutely need at least three or four.

Three hours later.

The chaotic energy that was previously bleeding out of his control fully condensed and flawlessly stabilized.

He was now fully back at his absolute peak condition following the massive breakthrough.

His overall proficiency and fine control over his Domain Force had also increased exponentially.

”For now, the most important thing to do is try to fully grasp the 12-dimensional construct.”

Since he had already decided to sit down and isolate himself in his sub-dimension, he might as well utilize this quiet time to deeply look into it. He had been rearing to observe it more closely for a while, but with all the recent chaotic events, he simply never had the free time.

His consciousness slowly descended into the massive Chaos Lotus, which now floated peacefully in the center of his mind.

Within its glowing core, the 12-dimensional construct constantly revolved.

It was a profoundly strange artifact. The exact instant his mental eyes fell onto its twisting geometry, he felt an overwhelming wave of dizziness wash over him.
