Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven

Chapter 425: Server Overload, the path of true transcendence

Grey was deeply analyzing all the possibilities. He considered the consequences of becoming a frequential being, as well as the absolute pros of it. However, after thinking for a very long time, his thoughts kept returning directly to his genetic traits.

”However, I will not necessarily have to lose it.”

Once someone reached the Origin Manifestation Realm, they already had their genetic traits permanently engraved into their Origin Core. They could still utilize those traits without fail, all while existing as pure energy constructs.

But what he was actively aiming for was a Source.

A Source was born directly from the natural frequency of oneself. Meanwhile, an Origin Core, no matter what specific path it belonged to, always held a direct relation to the Origin Will of this world. His unique path was focused entirely on self-reliance, while all other paths borrowed the Origin Will’s powers.

But the simple insight he held over frequencies made him fully realize one absolute truth about everything.

That was, even physical information could be seamlessly encoded into the form of frequencies.

And genetic information was naturally included in that.

How exactly was he going to convert his biology into frequencies?

This was exactly where the mythical Data Energy he possessed came into play.

”First, I will use my current physical state as the base model,” Grey smiled.

Data Energy erupted directly from the Information Layer as the sub-dimension around him began to wildly distort from the violent information current crashing down with it.

The Data Energy gently enveloped him entirely. It seeped into his skin, filtering through layers of optimized muscle fibers and sinking deep into his cells and elixir fields.

The personal server within the Information Layer flickered violently as a massive influx of information began to rapidly form.

”Huh?” Just then, Grey noticed something extremely terrifying.

It had only just started, but his server was already dangerously close to reaching its absolute limit!

”What the hell?” Grey was completely stunned.

His personal server, which could easily host an entire planet’s internet database, could not even successfully take in ten percent of the biological information related to him?

”This is highly unexpected.” Grey furrowed his brows deeply.

He desperately wanted to test this theory out on someone else.

Swish! The sub-dimension smoothly crumbled away as his physical figure flickered through the starry sky and descended back down into Star Blue.

He quickly sought out his grand-disciples, who were currently busy rejecting fabled young masters of the floating city, watching the scene with a completely deadpan look on his face.

”Grandmaster!” Meiling and Meiying exclaimed happily.

Seeing Grey suddenly appear, everyone in the vicinity was utterly dumbfounded.

There was not a single soul left on Star Blue that did not know the name Grey Lockhart.

”G-Greetings, Lord Grey,” one of the brave young masters stepped forward and greeted him nervously.

”Are you guys trying to woo my grand-disciples?” Grey chuckled lightly with a knowing smile.

”N-No, absolutely nothing like that,” the other suitors in the venue immediately stammered, their faces turning pale.

”That is exactly right, they were, Grandmaster,” Meiling crossed her arms and spoke up. ”They were actively trying to steal Meiling and Meiying away from you.”

Grey chuckled dryly upon hearing this blatant exaggeration. He gently flicked both of their foreheads and then turned back to the stunned crowd.

”I will be taking them both away for now,” Grey said with a casual smile. ”You guys can try to woo them later.”

These young masters were, in fact, significantly older than him, and so were his own grand-disciples. Every man and his dog was biologically older than him, yet he stood miles above their absolute powers. It was a supreme status that no one, except a select few people like Lia, could ever infinitely try to approach.

The terrifying powers he had displayed up until now were merely a tiny fraction of his true capabilities. Once he fully unleashed his domain, even he honestly did not know what would happen.

Soon, he safely took the twin grand-disciples to somewhere quiet and utilized his Data Energy to cleanly store their biological information into his personal server, right after completely deleting the heavy information related to himself.

And indeed, he was absolutely right. He could easily store both of their complete biological profiles and still have a fair bit of server space left over.

However, coincidentally, the exact second he obtained their entire physical information, his heaven-defying comprehension was violently triggered.

[Your comprehension defies the Heavens! By deeply observing the Twin-Stars’ biological information, you have successfully comprehended the ’Twin Ying Lin Star Merge Nexus Technique’.]

”What?” Grey was immediately baffled when he felt a brand new, highly complex technique suddenly compile directly into his mind.

The Twin Star Merge Technique. This specific technique was not just designed for the twins; it was perfectly, flawlessly made exclusively for them. It was meticulously crafted in such a profound way that literally only these two specific girls could ever successfully cultivate it.

Grey was completely dumbfounded. This was actually possible?

He could actively create personalized cultivation techniques just by observing someone’s biology?

This was a direct, highly specialized derivation of the Nexus Path’s main foundation. It would actively amplify their base cultivation speed by a massive one thousand percent if these two cultivated it together. Furthermore, there was also a profound function for both of them to temporarily merge together, amplifying their combat powers to an entirely new dimensional level.

”Good news, my dear grand-disciples,” Grey smiled warmly as he gently pressed his two hands directly against their temples.

Complete, flawless information related to the Twin Ying Lin Star Merge Nexus Technique immediately flooded into their minds.

”Huh?” Meiying gasped, a highly visible look of pure amazement washing over her face as she rapidly reviewed the profound information.

”Use it well.” Grey comfortably patted their heads, completely ignoring the fact that they were physically older than him.

”This will absolutely allow you to swiftly reach the 4th Rank, or perhaps even the 5th Rank. You two are the most perfectly aligned twins, sharing the most common genetic information. Hence, this custom technique is flawlessly suitable for you.”

After offering a few more brief words of encouragement, Grey ascended right back out of Star Blue. With this incredible theory firmly confirmed, he had something much more urgent to do, and that was significantly expanding his personal server.

The server’s capacity usually grew much bigger naturally whenever he broke through to a new rank, as it was closely tied to his mental Mind Palace where the Cognitive Anchor and the Spiritual Conduit were securely housed.

Now, he only had one viable option to forcefully upgrade it, and that was asking his dear AI friend, Eterna.

He seamlessly broke right back into the second layer of space above Star Blue. Eterna had already returned there to strictly manage administrative things related to the planet.

”What happened?” Eterna inquired with a glowing digital avatar.

”I desperately need to expand my server capacity. The normal way of waiting for a breakthrough simply is not enough. I need it to be massively bigger than it is right now, without having to break through ranks to do it,” Grey explained his ambitious intentions clearly.

Eterna immediately appeared deep in rapid digital thought. ”There is indeed a viable way.”

”Information Data Stone Cards,” Eterna finally said. ”These highly rare items contain the necessary physical information currents and the apt digital tools required to perfectly stabilize your server and forcefully expand it far beyond your current biological capabilities.”

”Now, where exactly do I get that?” Grey tilted his head in genuine curiosity.

Hearing this, Eterna swiftly connected to her core Eterna Protocol and began rapidly scouring through the network of the entire Milky Way Galaxy.

Massive streams of data continued flickering through her artificial mind for several instances. Eventually, a solid answer came out.

”It is currently located in the Southern Star Region,” Eterna spoke softly. ”Deep within a territory known as the Blackwell Alliance.”

”And coincidentally, my lost fragmented consciousness is also located there as well,” Eterna added, tilting her head.

She had already successfully compiled a full directory of exactly where her scattered consciousness fragments were hidden, and one was directly located in the Blackwell Alliance area.

”That is perfect then. It is killing two birds with one stone,” Grey nodded with a highly satisfied smile. ”What are we even waiting for? Let us head out there immediately.”
