Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven

Chapter 422: Back to Star Blue.

The spaceship did not take much time to return to Star Blue.

As soon as they arrived, they gazed at the three majestic rings orbiting Star Blue.

”Teacher, how did you turn the three planets into rings? Did you use the terrain changer?” Carter asked curiously.

”Kind of?” Grey replied. ”This was something that happened on a whim.”

Of course, things were not actually that easy. These planetary rings were actively being maintained by the World Will. It possessed an active consciousness after all.

No ordinary planet could achieve this or safely maintain the massive rings because they lacked both a consciousness and the profound powers that Star Blue possessed. It was a Middle Tier 2 planet after all.

If he fed it more World Source, it could without a doubt one day reach the absolute status of a cosmic world capable of containing a third layer of space. By then, Star Blue would become incredibly vast, to the point where it could easily dwarf several stars in succession.

Speaking of the stars, the immediate area around the former Three-Planet Alliance mostly consisted of dead planets. This new solar system revolved around a giant sun which was significantly larger than Star Blue’s original sun.

As for the sun itself, he could not even possibly think of going near it right now. There were massive amounts of chaotic cosmic flares violently erupting around it. Just going close alone could be highly harmful and potentially destroy a normal 4th Ranker from the inside out.

It was also widely said that within the core of each of these suns, there lived a mysterious species known as the Solarian Race. They rarely showed themselves to the outside cosmos, and there was not much concrete information related to them. But rumors dictated that they held deep, close ties to the Hells.

Whatever the absolute truth was, a strict act of caution was always maintained against the burning stars of the starry sky. Because these Solarians naturally inhabited and formed in a high-temperature habitat, they were generally born already at the 4th Rank and possessed absolute temperature resistance since birth.

The exact reason they formed was supposedly due to the Hell Principles. He did not know exactly what a Hell Principle was, but from what he understood, things that were naturally hot enough to reach the range of literal Hell would naturally cause a cosmic resonance. It was said that this happened because the supreme Ruler of Hell held absolute authority over the natural heat of all worlds, strictly excluding the Heavenly Flames.

Of course, that was just what Eterna had told him. He did not know for sure yet.

Then, Grey safely took Carter, John, and the others down to the surface of Star Blue. They spent a good while casually chatting. Eventually, Werner and Carter went around Star Blue together, deeply observing the local sights.

Valeria had gone back to happily visit her family, and Jasmine unexpectedly approached Grey.

”Chief Grey. I suddenly feel like researching the sun of this world,” Jasmine said with a bright smile.

”The sun?” Grey raised an eyebrow. ”What do you want to do with a star? You will get disintegrated from existence.”

”I wanted to directly observe the Solarians,” Jasmine said with a grin. ”I am very interested in this Hell place.”

”And my home world did not have them, so it is quite strange to me. If it is exactly as you said, then the Solarians are born due to the Hell Principles. But how come my world did not have such a concept?”

That was exactly what made Jasmine have second thoughts about them. It was officially said that almost all active stars in the Milky Way housed a small population of Solarians that survived every day in the vast, crushing heat of the stars.

It simply did not make much logical sense to her. Hence, why she desperately wanted to do some hands-on research about it.

”I am sure you can safely take me there, Chief Grey,” Jasmine said with a sweet smile. ”You are a very capable person after all. I am sure things like the heat of a star is something you are completely unfazed about.”

”...” Grey stared at Jasmine with a completely deadpan look on his face.

Trying to casually please him with sweet words? Was that not his own usual trump card against Xia Qingyue? Why was she suddenly using it on him? Did she not know that you cannot successfully please the pleaser?

”Your verbal attack has no effect on me, Jasmine.”

”But, I can arrange something,” Grey added with a helpless sigh.

”So my attack did have an effect on you, Chief Grey,” Jasmine smiled triumphantly.

”No?” Grey replied flatly.

”Yes, it did. Why else would you agree to my dangerous request? This means it is my absolute victory,” Jasmine nodded smugly.

”...” Grey’s eyebrows twitched violently.

Fine, whatever helps you sleep at night.

These people did not even appreciate the profound act of kindness he was doing for them.

Coughing awkwardly, he spoke. ”You go ahead. I will catch up with you later.”

”Alright. By the way, before I leave, I am going out into the starry sky to actively find an Evolutionary Path Stone,” Jasmine informed him. ”I have been wanting to officially switch to the Aether Evolutionary Path for a while now.”

”Hm,” Grey nodded in understanding.

It was becoming abundantly clear that everyone was slowly shifting to the Aether Evolutionary Path. This specific path had made massive waves across the entire Milky Way Galaxy. His personal Creator Space was now filled with so many overlapping layers of people that he simply could not count them all.

It was simply too powerful to ignore.

But these gathered powers, how exactly could he use them? Did it even have a practical use other than serving as the sheer foundation for the ultimate evolutionary leap?

Whatever it was, he would undoubtedly find out its true use one day.

Speaking of which, Lia also heavily wanted to convert, but he firmly stopped her. He planned on making her a fully forged God first, at least bringing her back to her absolute peak from her last life before letting her convert. This was mostly because he still had some deep, lingering doubts about the Gods and the mysterious God World. He also wanted to use this golden opportunity to draw more profound inspiration from her existence as a true God.

But for now, his current priority should be the careful observation of his own path and actively strengthening it.

He already had a solid lead, and that was frequencies. He was going to start directly from there.

By deeply observing the hidden cosmic frequencies of the world.
