Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven

Chapter 411: Time for another breakthrough

The Flawless Golden Ratio Foundation Cluster Array Technique was vastly better than he had expected.

For starters, it was a 5-star array formation.

Its base gathering power had been amplified by almost two hundred percent. It could gather the exact same amount of foundational power it currently held in less than half its original time.

And not just that. The previous formation technique possessed a fatal flaw.

It could gather raw power, but that energy would naturally begin to disperse if the array remained inactive for too long. Meaning, if there was a sudden drought in the supply of space beasts, which was bound to happen eventually, the hoarded foundational power would naturally leak away into the void.

The way this specific power was created involved physically breaking down a space beast’s body.

They inherently held the natural foundational powers an Evolver desperately needed. It was equivalent to possessing a Foundation Key. He had already used a Foundation Key while assimilating with the Lesser Heaven, and now he needed a significantly more powerful source of foundational power to completely solidify his current foundation.

And this massive cluster floating right here would be incredibly helpful for him. But before he absorbed it, he immediately began making profound changes to the array’s structure.

The previous method technically worked, but it completely failed to remove any lingering impurities from the foundation cluster. Purging those impurities normally required a harsh filtration process that would significantly deplete the total amount of foundational power stored inside.

His newly comprehended technique resolved that exact issue. It relied heavily on the Golden Ratio.

The old array took in the space beasts and melted them down to violently produce pure foundational power. Naturally, deep impurities remained during this crude process. The old array functioned as a perfect circle, constantly looping the unstable power around itself. Attempting to filter the energy within that tight, closed loop resulted in a massive, unavoidable loss of foundational power.

Implementing the profound principles of the Golden Ratio changed the entire process. It utilized irrational mathematics, incorporating a complex sequence of expanding squares and arcs rather than strictly following the rigid rules of a closed loop.

Because it did not form a perfect circle, it created a deliberate, calculated structural gap. He could easily use that small, continuous window to siphon out the dark impurities while simultaneously breaking down the space beast. By shifting from a flawless circle to a divine ratio that missed closing by just a microscopic fraction, he created the absolute perfect escape route for the waste.

With those profound thoughts in mind, Grey began to swiftly implement the new array formation he had just received.

Buzz!

The massive foundation cluster blinked brightly in outer space as it trembled slightly. Its internal foundational structure was rapidly changing. Soon, from the pure white star-like construct, thick dark grime was aggressively pushed out into the void. All the lingering impurities that had gathered over the years were now completely gone.

And for the final procedure, it was time to upgrade the Infinite Space Beast Trap.

It was a unique mechanism the local alliance utilized to violently pull space beasts towards the foundation cluster.

Their original method was decent. They utilized raw Origin Force, which held similar functions to World Force, to act as bait so the beasts would notice the area and blindly swarm towards it from the second layer of space.

But Grey had something infinitely better. His own Domain Force, brimming entirely with pure Nexus Power.

Unlike a normal Evolver’s Domain Force or Origin Force which only ever held one primary attribute, his flawlessly held all of his attributes. It contained exactly what made him who he was. His chaotic law powers, his dense types of energy, and his supreme origin as a Lesser Heaven.

It was astronomically more potent than an ordinary Origin Force. Using the new Infinite Space Beast Trap he had derived from the original array thanks to his heaven-defying comprehension, he only needed to place down a minuscule drop of his Nexus Domain Force around the array formation for the beasts to be irresistibly attracted.

With this singular modification, the gathering rate would exponentially and drastically increase by at least five hundred percent.

This was precisely the terrifying result he wanted.

Having made all the necessary preparations, he swiftly began to devour the purified foundational power as his body violently transformed into his massive draconic form.

The submitted experts who were hovering close by and witnessing this apocalyptic scene were completely tongue-tied.

”Just what is he...”

A colossal being that resembled an entire world itself. It was absolutely terrifying to look at.

They even genuinely wondered whether Grey was actually some sort of primordial space beast in disguise.

Boom!

As the pure white power flooded into Grey’s massive body, he felt his inner foundation rapidly strengthening. His three core Nexus aspects immediately gained significantly more structural integrity, and his Domain Force became saturated with far more profound essence.

Within a few short seconds, his foundation had completely reached one hundred percent.

After he was completely done absorbing the energy, he utilized his powers to construct more Foundation Clusters across Star Blue’s orbit.

He was going to start with a safe batch of three. He needed to carefully observe their exact effectiveness and measure exactly how many space beasts naturally swarmed towards each of them first. He would steadily increase the cluster count as time went on.

With a casual wave of his massive hands, two more radiant Foundation Clusters were instantly implemented into the void.

He then reverted his form and turned his piercing gaze towards Edward.

”The Origin Treasure you spoke of earlier. Hand it over.”

Edward had explicitly promised to give Grey a precious piece of High-Grade Tier 1 Origin Treasure in exchange for his life.

Hearing this command, Edward swiftly stretched his hands out. A gigantic, beautiful flower glowing with dense cosmic essence, roughly the size of a small continent, abruptly appeared in outer space.

”This is the Origin Treasure I mentioned, Expert Grey,” Edward spoke with a pained expression. ”This is the Origin Dahlia I luckily found hidden in the Southern Region of our galaxy while traveling centuries ago. I have been patiently waiting to use this supreme treasure to increase my powers at a critical bottleneck stage, but...”

”Thanks for the Origin Treasure,” Grey grinned as he swiftly confiscated it with his telekinesis.

This profound Origin Treasure easily held enough raw power to make him successfully reach the 4th Level!

Then, was there any reason to hesitate? It was finally time to actively undergo the Bloodline Tribulation.

He deeply looked forward to what miraculous changes would be made to his existence.

Grey once again violently shifted into his colossal draconic form and immediately activated the Devourer of Chaos.
