Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 1387: Chapter 1387: I Want Your Life

”Not just a miscarriage? Which married woman hasn’t miscarried once or twice? What’s so special about her? I just got rid of the bastard in her belly! She owes this to the Qin Family! Isn’t this clearly bullying Qin Fen, bullying the Qin Family? I can’t swallow this!” Li Junping said angrily, hands on her hips.

”Enough, stop causing a scene. It’s enough already! Don’t just stand there, get Yueqin to the hospital.” Qin Ru Hai could no longer let them carry on like this, lest a life be lost and both families be ruined.

”No. This little bitch deserves to die! Deserves to die!” Liu Junping spat venomously.

”Fine. I deserve to die! And you think you deserve to live? Have your sins been any less?” The throbbing pain intensified for Song Yueqin, who knew for certain she couldn’t keep the baby.

She clenched her teeth and stood up, holding her stomach as she walked out step by step, leaving a trail of bright red blood drops on the floor with each step.

Seeing Song Yueqin in this desperate state, Qin Fen’s anger seemed to gradually dissipate.

By now, the two were at a breaking point, and there was no possibility of being together anymore.

”Song Yueqin, let’s get a divorce. From now on, let’s go our separate ways,” Qin Fen finally said.

The mutual torment and hurt were enough, if they continued together, they would only draw closer to the abyss.

”Fine. Let’s go our separate ways.” Song Yueqin, battered and bruised, walked towards the door. Just as she struggled to step out, another harsh kick came from behind.

Her body didn’t stabilize, and her knees heavily hit the ground, causing piercing pain and cold sweat all over her body.

A surge of rage enveloped her. She gritted her teeth, stood up, picked up a brick from beside the wall, and turned to walk towards Liu Junping: ”You vicious woman, do you really want to kill me? I want your life.”

”You want my life! I want yours too! My son’s life is precious; he can’t go to jail again, I’m not afraid! Old lady, I’ll retrieve all the grievances my son suffered from you over the years,” Li Junping rolled up her sleeves and violently swung a stool at Song Yueqin.

Anger gave Song Yueqin a mad strength, she swung the brick and grappled with Li Junping.

All external sounds faded away, the shouts of Qin Fen, the tearing voice of Qin Ru Hai, she ignored them all, her mind fixated on one thought—kill this mother-in-law who bullied her.

She seized the opportunity, raised her hand, and violently threw the brick.

She also felt a dull pain in her back and a cramp in her abdomen, her vision darkened and she collapsed.

Li Junping saw the brick flying towards her but couldn’t dodge in time. She felt a heavy blow to her head, followed by a spreading pain, her vision blurred by a surge of bright red.

Then everything spun, her body went limp, and she also fell down.

”Old lady!”

”Mom!”

Two people hurried forward, but it was too late, Li Junping’s head heavily hit the ground, and she fainted.

In the evening, An Hao was already preparing things for her hospital stay for childbirth, feeling her belly dropping significantly these days.

The baby had already dropped into the pelvis, just waiting for the water to break and to be born.

The doctor said it would be within a couple of days, the whole family was on high alert, serving An Hao and the unborn child.
