Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 1335: Chapter 1335: It Won’t Work Just Sitting and Eating Away Your Resources

”Sure. Let’s just get through the next few days,” An Hao calculated that if the old lady was sick and needed rest, the time should be just about right. If she didn’t show up by then, she would have no choice but to provoke them into taking action.

She didn’t believe that Lin Qiushu, who had shown a great deal of interest in her bracelet and even followed her, would just disappear without a trace.

”Hey, sister! There’s something I don’t understand. If the bracelet is so valuable, why can’t we sell it and spend the money? Why must it be invested in the company? The money from selling it could be enough for us to spend for a large part of our lives,” An Ping asked.

Laughing, An Hao explained to him, ”This bracelet doesn’t belong to our An Family; it belongs to the Qin Family! If you sold it for money to spend, what would the Qin family think?”

”But the bracelet has been given to you, hasn’t it? It’s yours now! Besides, the loss Qin Fen has caused our family is not trivial! He can’t repay the debt, so it’s fair to consider the bracelet as a debt settlement. Sure, my brother-in-law has the Qin surname, but he is undoubtedly a man of the Ning Family. Our family isn’t really in-laws with the Qin Family! Why shouldn’t we hold Qin Fen accountable for the huge sum of money he has cost our family?”

An Ping’s words, over and over, expressed one idea: the An Family and the Qin Family are not true in-laws, so Qin Fen must pay for the economic damage he has caused the An Family himself.

”Alright, alright, I can’t argue with you,” An Hao said with a laugh, shaking her head.

”So, just for this reason, you’re willing to go through the effort of starting a company and doing business?” An Ping didn’t quite understand; compared to An Hao’s thinking and vision, he was still a bit narrow-minded.

”Not entirely. Remember, An Ping, it’s never good to sit and consume your wealth—it’ll be gone someday. It needs to generate more money; do you understand what I mean?” An Hao said earnestly to An Ping.

Moreover, now in the tens of thousands of yuan, a family could be considered very wealthy, but by the nineties, the year 2000, or even later, the accumulation of wealth can be staggering.

The money would be negligible at that time, so she must make the money yield even more money.

Having relived her life, she had to make some achievements. She wanted to become wealthy, to fulfill her dream of being a doctor, to stand at new heights, never to repeat her past aimless life.

A week later, An Hao noticed that Lin Qiushu still hadn’t appeared. However, her wholesale company had started operating, and the situation was unprecedentedly hot.

An Ping organized deals with vegetable farmers, purchasing large quantities of vegetables, while Wang Erzhu and Liu Xiaolian visited all the main markets of Nancheng City, handing out their business cards. The cards listed the address and the types of vegetables they dealt with.

After inquiring about the prices, the vendors found this vegetable wholesale company to be very good—first, it saved them the trouble of going a long way to collect the vegetables themselves. The second and most important point was that the prices of the vegetables from this wholesale company were much cheaper than if they bought directly from the farmers.

In no time, half the city’s vegetable vendors had come out in force, rushing to the vegetable company to snap up the produce.

After all, with lower costs, they could make a little more profit.

To maintain such a booming status for a long time, a constant supply of fresh vegetables had to be purchased. But the financial chain... was an issue...

On a weekend morning, as soon as An Hao woke up, she opened the drawer and repeatedly caressed the jade bracelet in her hands.
