Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 340: Zhang Feiʼs Invitation

Since they had just met for the first time in decades, Zhang Fei decided not to join them and waited in the garden. However, Ming Yanyu, who was walking beside him, kept hugging his left arm. ”Why donʼt you join them? He is your grandfather, and you have never met him before, so you should go back inside now.”

”No.” Ming Yanyu immediately rejected Zhang Fei. ”Since he is my grandfather, my parents will ask him to stay with us, especially my mother, who has been waiting to meet him for a long time. That way, I can meet him every day and gradually get to know him. On the contrary, I donʼt know when I will be able to meet you again, so I am more interested in accompanying you.”

Zhang Fei shook his head helplessly at Ming Yanyuʼs words, especially since they used to live in the same area in Guangzhou, so they did often spend time together when they were little. Even so, they were only close to him and his sisters because Zhang He had been arrogant since they were kids, and he often bullied Ming Hao, so they never liked him.

Their togetherness lasted until Ming Han got a good opportunity in Hainan, and he brought his family to move to that city to take that opportunity, which proved successful.

However, they still communicated frequently at that time, but the situation changed again after Zhang Fei was kicked out of his parentsʼ house two years ago, and he had to work hard because he didnʼt want to burden Zhang Chen, so their communication began to decrease.

Despite this, Ming Han and Zhang Hanzi still frequently took them to visit Zhang Fei at Zhang Chenʼs house, especially when the two of them were on school holidays, and they usually stayed a few nights there.

Ming Yanyu suddenly stood in front of Zhang Fei, on tiptoe, and observed his face seriously. ”Big brother Fei, why do I feel like your face has changed? Moreover, youʼve grown taller, and your body looks stronger and more muscular than the last time we met.”

”Haha! Youʼre right, I have indeed changed a lot.” Zhang Fei laughed tenderly and patted Ming Yanyuʼs head. ”Moreover, itʼs not just me whoʼs changed; you and Hao have also changed a lot, right? I heard that your brother became a swimming athlete, and he also looks more mature now. As for you, you look prettier and taller, but I feel like your childish nature still hasnʼt changed at all.”

”Iʼm not childish! Iʼm an adult now!” Ming Yanyu protested to Zhang Fei as he stomped her feet to the ground.

”Hahaha.” Ming Yanyuʼs action made Zhang Fei laugh out loud. ”See? No adult woman acts like you, so in my eyes, youʼre still childish now.”

”Ugh!” Ming Yanyu put on an annoyed face, but she immediately diverted their conversation. ”Why donʼt you bring Big Sis Yue and Big Sis Lin here? I heard from my mother that theyʼre living with you and Grandma Chen, so you should bring them here, because I miss them too.”

”Big Sis Yue and her friend were going to their office to submit their resignations, and Linʼer was somewhere else, so I didnʼt bring them here.” Zhang Fei then asked Mei. ʼDo they all have cultivation veins?ʼ

[Yes, Master. Everyone has cultivation veins, so you can take them to the Sky Jade Realm to cultivate. However, if they stay there, the Chu Clan will become even more crowded, especially considering your plans to bring Wang Zetian and the others along. Therefore, it would be better if you looked for your own residence in the western region.]

Zhang Fei himself had thought about the matter, especially since the number of people on his side kept increasing. Even though he was now a member of the Chu clan, he couldnʼt possibly continue to stay with them.

Thatʼs why he agreed with Meiʼs idea to buy her own residence for them to live in, especially since he also had quite a lot of jewels now and his two businesses were also steadily bringing him income.

Moreover, Zhang Fei already had another idea for a new business in the Sky Jade Realm, but he would only open it in the Yin-Yang Pavilion as a start, especially since it was related to dual cultivation.

”Hmm? What are you thinking about, Big Brother Fei? Why has your expression become so serious?” Ming Yanyu looked at Zhang Fei in confusion as she asked.

”Do you want to go with me to a new place?” Ming Yanyu was surprised by Zhang Feiʼs question. ”Not just you, but I plan to bring all of them there, especially since you guys are my closest people, and I donʼt want to leave you all behind. Moreover, we have moved and are living there now, and we can be together as one big family if you are willing to move there.

However, I feel a dilemma about bringing you guys there, especially since your lives will change quite significantly and you might have difficulties with your new lives.”

Instead, Ming Yanyu put on a confused look and asked Zhang Fei a few questions. ”What do you mean by that, Big Brother Fei? Where do you want to take us? Why do you say that our lives will change if we go there?”

*Tap... Tap...*

Zhang Fei immediately looked back. ”Why are you here, Hao?”

”Haha.” Ming Hao laughed before rushing in front of them. ”My mother is crying inside because she is too happy after meeting my grandfather, and I canʼt bear to see her cry like that, so I decided to come out to see you, Brother Fei.”

”Youʼre still as soft as ever, huh?” Zhang Fei then told Ming Hao about his desire to take them to the Sky Jade Realm, which confused him. ”I have a hard time explaining it to you two, so Iʼll show you guys in person, and you will definitely be very surprised afterward.”

Zhang Fei immediately grabbed their shoulders, and both of their expressions turned into shock as soon as he flew them onto the roof of their house.

”Big Brother Fei! How could you do this?” Meng Yunyi asked loudly as she hugged Zhang Feiʼs left arm tightly, fearing that she might slip and suffer severe pain.

Ming Hao also looked at Zhang Fei before asking. ”Do you have superpowers like the characters in superhero movies, Brother Fei?”

”Haha.” Zhang Fei laughed upon hearing them, and he stretched out his hand before showing his fire qi to them, which shocked them further. ”This is not a superpower but rather something else, and if you both go there, you can do the same thing, including flying by yourselves.

Anyway, people like me call themselves cultivators, and my family are also cultivators now, except for my father because I left him here.”

Hearing about Zhang Hai didnʼt surprise them, and they were already aware that he was receiving treatment at the hospital, particularly given his recent losses. However, they were surprised to hear about cultivators, and they had never heard of it before because they were not fans of such things as Zhang Fei.

Zhang Fei immediately spoke to them again. ”Actually, the place Iʼm talking about is another world, so your lives will really change if you all live there. After all, that world is completely different from this one, and life there is quite harsh compared to here.”

”Huh? Are you joking with us, Big Brother Fei?” Ming Yanyu asked in disbelief.

To prove the truth to them, Zhang Fei dispelled his fire qi and asked Mei to open the gate to the Sky Jade Realm, causing their eyes to widen and their jaws to fall open, especially since they could only find such things in movies.

However, they were frightened when four beasts suddenly emerged from the gate, causing the two tigresses to nearly fall off the roof. However, Zhang Fei immediately held them with his aura.

Meanwhile, Jie Yuan immediately jumped onto Zhang Feiʼs head, and You Bai perched on his shoulder, making Ming Yunyiʼs eyes sparkle as he looked at the two.

”Ugh! You guys are too naughty! We have forbidden the four of you from entering the gate, particularly since we are unsure of Feiʼs intentions to open it, but you guys are too stubborn.” Meng Hao and Ming Yuyin immediately turned toward the gate again, only to be shocked when Chu Qing, Chu Yin, and Xu Lingʼer emerged from inside and floated in the air. ”Hehe! Are you two of his family?”

”Yes.” The two nodded to Chu Qing, but they still couldnʼt get over their shock. However, they immediately recognized Xu Lingʼer, especially since they had met many times at Zhang Chenʼs house.

”Big Brother Hao! Big Sis Yunyi! Long time no see!” ”See you two!” Xu Lingʼer waved her hand at them and introduced the Chu Sisters to them. ”They are Big Sis Chu Ying and Big Sis Chu Qing, and they are Big Brother Feiʼs wives.”

Upon hearing that, Ming Yunyi immediately turned to Zhang Fei and bombarded him with questions. ”Are they really your wives? Why didnʼt you introduce them to us before? When did you get married to them? Why didnʼt you invite us to your wedding?”

Zhang Fei sighed softly and sent the four beasts into the portal, particularly since their presence would only scare ordinary humans. Mei immediately closed it upon his request.

Zhang Fei then informed Ming Hao and Meng Yunyi. ”Yingʼer and Qingʼer are indeed my wives, and I married them more than two months ago. Aside from them, I still have several other wives, and Lingʼerʼs mother, Ru Xue, is one of them. Anyway, I havenʼt introduced them to you all because I didnʼt have time to meet you before, but I thought of doing so after I brought you all there.”

They were stunned after hearing about Ru Xue, especially since they both knew her, and their relationship with her was also quite close. However, they also knew her husband, so they felt strange hearing that she was now Zhang Feiʼs wife.

”Haha.” Xu Lingʼer laughed as she floated beside them. ”My mother already divorced my father; she is now his wife. Moreover, I liked Big Brother Fei, so I fully supported their relationship.”

The Ming Siblings nodded in understanding to Xu Lingʼer, but all those facts really made them confused and shocked, especially since the current Zhang Fei was completely different from the man they knew before his death.

*Tap... Tap...*

They immediately looked down at Ming Han, who was standing there, and looked at them with incredulous expressions. He even repeatedly rubbed his eyes to make sure he wasnʼt seeing things wrong, especially since the sight before his eyes was truly bizarre. At first, he heard their commotion, so he decided to check, but he witnessed an ashtonishing sight instead.

With a wry smile, Zhang Fei brought them all to land in front of Ming Han, making it even more difficult for him to believe what he was seeing. ”Uncle Han, you didnʼt see wrong because we are not ordinary humans, and we have abilities that you donʼt have, so itʼs easy for us to do such a thing. Anyway, you must still remember Xu Lingʼer, right?

As for these two women, they are my wives, Chu Ying and Chu Qing.”

Ming Han did not respond to him because he was still shocked to the point of speechlessness, so Zhang Fei chose to wait for him to get over his shock first. His two children also didnʼt say anything to him; instead, they smiled amusedly as they watched their fatherʼs expression.

After a while, Ming Han finally came out of his shock and took a deep breath. ”Feiʼer, please explain everything in detail to me, especially your actions just now, which were really unusual, and no earthling could do such things.”

”Sure.” Zhang Fei then led his uncle to an empty chair, where he explained everything in detail, including the advantages and disadvantages of being a cultivator. Ming Hanʼs children listened to his explanation with full attention. After that, he offered to bring them to join him in the Sky Jade Realm, which greatly shocked him, especially about the existence of other realms.

”In fact, there are still three realms connected to Earth, but scientists from all countries never knew about their existence, especially since they are different from us humans and look down on ordinary humans.”

”What do you mean by the three realms, Brother Fei?” Ming Hao asked him.

”Ha ha.” Zhang Fei chuckled before telling them. ”The first realm is the Diyu Realm, where demons live; we usually refer to it as hell. The second realm is the Tian Realm, where the winged race lives; they are better known as angels. Iʼve been to both of those realms before, but Iʼve never been to the third realm, called the Xian Realm.

The inhabitants of that realm consider themselves gods, especially since they have powers that ordinary humans do not have. Anyway, Uncle Han, you guys are my family, so I sincerely hope that you can accept my offer and go with me to the Sky Jade Realm, and we will teach you all to become cultivators like us.”

Although Zhang Chen was not his wifeʼs biological mother, Ming Han himself had always regarded them as his biological family, especially since she was the one who raised her to become an extraordinary woman, and he was also a person who liked new challenges. ”Feiʼer, your offer is really interesting to me, but I have to discuss it with your aunt first.

However, she is reuniting with her father now, and I donʼt want to disturb them, so I hope you can wait for them to finish.”

”Thatʼs okay; I can understand that.” Zhang Fei suddenly raised his eyebrows as he sensed unusual movement from afar, and he immediately stood up from his seat before speaking to his two wives. ”You guys wait here and tell them more about our lives, and Iʼll go take care of something.”
