Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 314: A Big Commotion

*Bam*

Chi Zhongguo dropped Ba Yongshan to the floor as soon as he entered his residence, especially after he saw Ba Shuxiang in Zhang Fei [1]ʼs lap, and his hands kept groping her body from under her dress.

”Husband! Please donʼt look at me! I canʼt refuse his order!” Ba Shuxiang spoke with a trembling voice, tears rolling down her cheeks.

”Bastard! Let go of my wife!” Instantly, Chi Zhongguo released his cultivation and killing intent, and he dashed towards Zhang Fei with both his fists already covered in earth qi. ”Iʼm gonna kill you!”

”Husband! Stop! Donʼt do it! You must run away now!”

*Thrust*

Before he could reach Zhang Fei [1], Chi Zhongguo was shocked by a red sword piercing through his chest from behind, but it did not stab his vital part, and he immediately turned his head back with wide eyes. ”Zhang... Zhang Lingxue...!”

”Do you think I will let you hurt my husband?” Zhang Lingxue inquired as she quickly sealed Chi Zhongguoʼs cultivation, and she immediately pulled her sword out of his body, causing blood to gush out from his chest and back.

”Ugh!” Chi Zhongguo immediately fell to his knees while clutching his painful chest. ”How... how did you get here?”

”I donʼt need to explain it to you, right?” Zhang Lingxue then moved behind Zhang Fei [1]. ”Do you think my sisters and I would be willing to be his wives if our husband was an ordinary person? Despite the fact that you are already aware of his relationship with us, you continue to look for trouble with him, even collaborating with a member of the Pang Clan to enslave him.

Doesnʼt that mean you look down on us? Your Chi clan is indeed strong in the eastern region, but my Zhang clan is the second strongest in this realm, and we can easily crush your clan.”

Chi Zhongguo did not deny Zhang Lingxueʼs words about the difference in their clansʼ strengths, but he immediately denied her accusations about them colluding with the heretic clan. ”What do you mean by that? You are indeed strong, but you cannot slander us; we have never collided with any member of the Pang Clan!”

”See that guy?” Zhang Fei said [1] as he pointed to his new puppet, who was still kneeling on the floor. ”His real name is Pang Liyuan, and he is the son of Pang De, the patriarch of the Pang Clan.”

”What? ” Chi Zhongguo shouted in shock as he turned to look at Pang Liyuan, but he could see that his gaze was blank, leading him to believe that they had already taken control of him.

Zhang Fei [1] then lowered Ba Shuxiang from his lap before walking over to Chi Zhongguo, and he immediately pulled his hair up. ”You may not know his true identity, but you know for sure about his ability to control other people. Otherwise, you wouldnʼt ask him to control me, right? Have you ever questioned your stupidity in trusting him?

Do you think the cultivators of the righteous path would do such a thing to others? Unfortunately, it is too late to regret your foolishness, and you have made a fatal mistake by becoming my enemy, so you will follow them both by becoming my slave for life.”

”No... No...! I donʼt want to be your slave!”

However, Zhang Fei [1] immediately restricted Chi Zhongguoʼs movements, implanted his demon slave mark into his soul, and manipulated some of his memories about his relationship with Pang Liyuan, similar to what he had previously done to Ba Shuxiang.

”Husband!” Ba Shuxiang screamed as she ran to her husbandʼs side as soon as Zhang Fei [1] let go of him, and Chi Zhongguo looked at him in horror, realizing that he had become his slave.

”Are you really going to do that, husband?” Zhang Lingxue asked Zhang Fei [1] as she looked at Ba Shuxiang and Chi Zhongguo with pity, especially since they had messed with the wrong people, and her husband naturally would not be merciful to them.

”Yes.” Zhang Fei [1] replied to his wife with a nod before ordering the three to stand, and they immediately followed his orders against their will. ”We will bring them to this sect training ground, and I will contact the higher-ups of this sect to meet us there.”

Hearing that, Ba Shuxiang and Chi Zhongguoʼs faces turned pale, especially since Zhang Fei [1] manipulated their memories, which made them know from the start that Pang Liyuan was a member of the Pang Clan, and they chose to collude with him of their own accord.

Zhang Fei immediately escorted Zhang Lingxue out of the house. ”Pang Liyuan, pick Ba Yongshan up, and you guys will follow us to the training ground.”

Without saying a word, Pang Liyuan immediately picked Ba Yongshan up and carried him to follow his master.

Ba Shuxiang, who could not refuse Zhang Fei [1]ʼs order, immediately helped Chi Zhongguo walk. In addition, she assisted her husband in stopping his bleeding. However, his idea of disclosing their relationship with Pang Liyuan frightened them both, as they genuinely feared that the Desolate Sect would condemn them to death if they discovered it.

Zhang Fei [1] himself sent a voice transmission to Lian Xiang and Gan Jinshu to inform them of the incident, which shocked both of them, and they moved towards the training ground while contacting the other elders to gather there.

The two disciples guarding the area were confused after they saw Zhang Fei [1] and Zhang Lingxue walking side by side, especially since they didnʼt recognize either of them.

”You guys donʼt need to interfere with this matter, especially since the guy in black is a member of the Pang Clan, and these two people conspired with him to harm my husband.” The two disciples were shocked to hear Zhang Lingxueʼs words, causing them to glare at Ba Shuxiang and Chi Zhongguo with hatred, especially since the clan members had done such traumatizing things to their sect in the past.

While they were on their way to the sectʼs training area, all the disciples who saw them kept asking about the situation faced by Ba Shuxiang and Chi Zhongguo, but Zhang Fei [1] and Zhang Lingxue did not explain anything to them, so they decided to follow them to the training ground.

The disciples of the Heavenly Sword Sect also heard the incident, and Qin Zheng hurriedly led them towards the training ground because the situation had become chaotic.

When they arrived there, Zhang Fei [1] immediately ordered the three people to kneel in the middle arena with Ba Yongshan lying in front of them. He, along with Zhang Lingxue, stood behind them, waiting for Lian Xiang and the others to arrive.

The disciples quickly filled the training ground, and they jostled in anticipation of what would happen next. However, their curiosity about why Zhang Fei [1] and Zhang Lingxue treated their seniors in such a manner led them to start whispering to each other. After all, Chi Zhongguo was the second son of their sect master, and their Chi Clan has been leading their sect for so long.

The disciples of the Heavenly Sword Sect had also arrived at the training ground, and they asked Ye Lian about the reason Zhang Fei [1] did that to Chi Zhongguo and the others, but she only responded to them by shaking her head, especially since he hadnʼt explained anything to her.

Sometime later, Lian Xiang, Gang Jinshu, and all the elders arrived at the training ground.

”Zhongguo! Shuxiang!” Chi Zhiqiang was the first to scream, and she wanted to run towards them, especially since Chi Zhongguo was her nephew.

However, Lian Xiang immediately stopped Chi Zhiqiang and asked Zhang Lingxue. ”Since when have you been in our sect? Why didnʼt we know about your arrival?”

”That matter is not important for now, okay?” Zhang Lingxue then pointed to the three people in front of her. ”The most important thing now is that we have to solve these three peopleʼs problems, especially since Ba Shuxiang and Chi Zhongguo conspired with Pang Liyuan to control my husband, so he summoned me here to help him.”

”Impossible!” Chi Zhiqiang shouted, refuting Zhang Lingxue. ”He is not Pang Liyuan! He is Li Yuan of the Li Clan! Moreover, my nephew clearly knows about our clanʼs traumatic history, so he would never collude with that heretic clan!”

”Youʼre so naive, huh?” Zhang Lingxue turned to Zhang Fei [1], who immediately ordered Pang Liyuan to remove his concealment artifact and release his darkness element.

As soon as Pang Liyuan followed Zhang Fei [1]ʼs order and released his darkness element, a black aura immediately enveloped his body, causing everyone present at the training ground to gasp in shock.

After seeing that, Chi Zhiqiang looked trembling and staggered backward, especially since she was the one who accepted Pang Liyuan into their sect, but she never knew that he had the darkness element. ”How... how could this be?”

Lian Xiang and the others also looked shocked after seeing Pang Liyuanʼs darkness element, and a glimmer of killing intent flashed across their eyes, especially after they remembered the heartbreaking history of their sect.

”See? I didnʼt lie to you, right?” Zhang Lingxue casually told them, ”My husband has already explained everything to me, and he did not do anything to Ba Yongshan. However, Ba Shuxiang and Chi Zhongguo continued to accuse him of being the culprit, and they even ordered Pang Liyuan to use his clan technique to turn him into a puppet.

Fortunately, he has me and the others, and we have provided him with some protection. Otherwise, he would have become his puppet by now, and we would have suffered if we lost him. Furthermore, they are already aware that he is my husband and a member of my Zhang clan. Therefore, I considered their actions an open challenge to my clan, and I will not tolerate them.”

Zhang Lingxueʼs words made Chi Zhiqiang freeze in her spot, but she then glanced at Chi Zhongguo before trying to beg her. ”Lingxue, I beg you! Please give my nephew a chance, and I will make sure that he will never get involved with them again.”

”No.” Zhang Lingxue fiercely rejected Chi Zhiqiangʼs request. ”Although Zhongguo is Chi Yangʼs second son, and my brother also has a good relationship with his father, this matter is too serious and concerns the reputation of my Zhang Clan, so I will not spare your nephew.”

Zhang Fei [1], who had been silent all this time, finally spoke up. ”Elder, if you insist on begging for Chi Zhongguo, then I will announce his involvement with the Pang Clan to all regions, and you should already understand the risks if they hear about this matter, right?”

Zhang Fei [1]ʼs threat caused Chi Zhiqiang to clench her fists tightly, putting her in a dilemma. She wanted to protect Chi Zhongguo from them because he was her nephew, but she also knew that if he spread the news of her nephewʼs involvement to all the clans in Sky Jade Realm, they would immediately turn against her Chi Clan, putting her clan members across the regions in danger.

Lian Xiang sighed softly before attempting to mediate the situation by persuading Zhang Fei [1]. ”I know that Zhongguo and Shuxiang have made a mistake by conspiring with the Pang Clan to harm you, but the two of them have never done anything wrong before, so I hope you can give them a chance.”

”Have you forgotten how the Pang Clan slaughtered so many members of this sect in the past?” Zhang Fei [1]ʼs question pierced Lian Xiang and the othersʼ hearts like a knife, and his subsequent words deepened their sorrow, recalling the past events. ”Your husband died in their hands, right?

Elder Jinshuʼs wife and daughter also died because of their actions, and the rest of you must have experienced the same thing when that incident happened, right? Are you really going to spare these two traitors after what those people did to all of you in the past?”

None of them had any intention of refuting Zhang Fei [1], especially since that incident had caused them all to lose their loved ones, leaving them completely traumatized.

Then Zhang Fei [1] spoke to them again. ”If I were in your place, I would never have any intention of forgiving those who have betrayed me by working together with those who destroyed my family, and I would definitely kill them with my own hands, even if they were my family.”

Upon hearing Zhang Feiʼs words, the disciples, disappointed by Ba Shuxiang and Chi Zhongguoʼs actions, immediately shouted for their expulsion from the sect. Many of them even asked for the two to be executed directly, especially the older disciples, whose families were also victims of the incident in the past.

”Anyway, they targeted me with their evil scheme, so the decision regarding the fate of both of them is mine. Even if all of you become my enemies later, I still wonʼt be merciful to them.

However, you should think carefully before deciding to become my enemies, and I dare to guarantee that all of you will suffer if you make such a decision.” After saying that, Zhang Fei [1] asked Mei to open a portal to the training ground, shocking everyone. He then immediately threw Ba Shuxiang and Chi Zhongguo into it.

”As for Pang Liyuan, he is now my slave due to the effect of an artifact that Lingxue gave me. However, I will not kill him for now because he is Pang Deʼs son, and I need him to do something about his father.”
