Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 311: Facing The Sect Members

Zhang Fei [1], who was enjoying his time with the three women in the desert oasis, immediately asked Mei to open the portal to the training space, especially after he noticed numerous dots moving towards them. He immediately spoke to Shi Wu. ”Wuʼer, there are many people coming here, which will make you feel pressured, so you can go inside first, and I will bring you out later.”

”Yes, Master.” After Shi Wu went inside, Mei immediately closed the portal. Zefyr, who was too lazy to meet other humans, also immediately flew away, leaving Zhang Fei [1] and Yi Na alone.

Yi Na then asked Zhang Fei [1]. ”Did they realize that you did that to Ba Yongshan?”

”No one can detect me in the invisible state, so they wonʼt know about it.” Zhang Fei [1] denied it while shaking his head. ”However, Ba Shuxiang and Chi Zhongguo know that I had a fight with Ba Yongshan before, so they must suspect that I did it. Even so, they wonʼt be able to prove anything, so you donʼt need to worry about them.”

”I see.” Yi Na nodded in understanding.

A moment later, Lian Xiang and the others had landed in front of them, but Gang Jinshu and Shi Xi did not join them, and he had already taken her back to his private quarters.

Unlike their seniors, Ba Shuxiang and Chi Zhongguo looked at Zhang Fei [1] with frustrated expressions, but Lian Xiang immediately stopped them after she sensed something unusual from him. ”Are you the one named Zhang Fei [1]?”

”I am.” Zhang Fei [1] nonchalantly replied to Lian Xiang. ”Elder Jinshu should have already told you all about my identity, right? This place does belong to your sect, but my partner and I are just enjoying the scenery in this desert oasis area, and we are not making a scene in your sect either, so why did you bring so many people here as if you wanted to capture us?”

ʼThis brat isnʼt the least bit pressured by our presence, huh? He may feel confident because of his relationship with the five clans.ʼ Lian Xiang and the other elders muttered the same thing in their hearts.

Chi Zhiqiang suddenly spoke to Zhang Fei [1]. ”We didnʼt come here to capture you two, but something bad happened to one of our guests, and we heard that you had a fight with him before, so we wanted to ask you about that matter.”

”Guest? Which guest are you referring to?” Zhang Fei [1] asked Chi Zhiqian, feigning ignorance, while Yi Na also wore a deadpan expression as she observed them.

”He-”

Before Chu Zhiqiang could answer his question, Ba Shuxiang had already shouted angrily at Zhang Fei [1], as she pointed her finger at him. ”Hey! You donʼt have to pretend in front of us! You must have done that thing to my little brother! You even insulted our Ba Clan for being a weak clan!”

”Oh!” Zhang Fei [1] let out a low cry as he clasped his palms together. ”I remember it now! So youʼre the big sister of that idiot who wanted to approach my fiancée, huh? Your little brother, believing your Ba clan to be a powerful clan, arrogantly asked the two gatekeepers to stop me. However, he immediately fled like a shy rabbit once I revealed my relationship with my wivesʼ clans.

”You-”

”You what? Usually, I donʼt spare those who want to touch my women, so your little brother is fortunate enough that I didnʼt kill him immediately when he acted arrogantly in front of me.” Zhang Fei [1] fiercely interrupted Ba Shuxiang.

”People might think that your Ba clan is strong because Ba Jiawen is the sect master of the Heavenly Sword Sect, but my five wivesʼ clans are much stronger than yours, so itʼs fair for me to say that your clan is a weak clan, right?”

Ba Shuxiang and Chi Zhongguoʼs faces darkened after they heard Zhang Fei [1]ʼs taunts, but they couldnʼt deny that the Ba clan was indeed weaker compared to the Chu and Ye Clans, let alone when compared to the Liu, Shen, and Zhang Clans.

”Anyway, you better not think that I am acting this way because I am relying on their clanʼs reputation, especially since I wonʼt be afraid of your Ba clan even if I donʼt have their support.” Zhang Fei [1] immediately activated the soul connection to borrow 50 percent of Boitata power, which made his strength increase drastically, shocking Lian Xiang and the others.

ʼFortunately, this beast technique does not depend on distance; it only depends on our contractual bond.ʼ

Subsequently, Zhang Fei [1] simultaneously unleashed his killing intent and heavenly fox aura while also using his demon eyes, concealed by the transformation technique, rendering them oblivious to his blood-red eyes. However, he only directed everything at Ba Shuxiang and Chi Zhongguo, forcing them to kneel in the sand and tremble in fear. ”Ugh!”

”All right, thatʼs enough, kid. We didnʼt come here to look for trouble with you; we really just wanted to talk to you.” Lian Xiang spoke as she protected the two of them with her aura, but her expression was filled with shock as she looked at Zhang Fei [1].

His actions shocked not only her but also Chi Zhiqiang and the other elders, particularly because his killing intent and aura were too frightening for a young man of his age.

Moreover, Ba Shuxiang and Chi Zhongguoʼs cultivation was already at the 3-Star Earth Realm, and Zhang Fei [1]ʼs cultivation was only at the 2-Star Soul Realm, so the difference in their strength was very far, but he was able to calmly suppress both of them.

”I know that you and the others only want to talk to me, but those two people clearly have different desires than you.” Zhang Fei [1] stated this while maintaining a sharp gaze on Ba Shuxiang and Chi Zhongguo, but he swiftly withdrew everything before speaking to Lian Xiang once more.

”Honestly, I donʼt want to cause a scene in this sect, but I truly despise everyone who accuses me of doing something wrong without any evidence. I did have a fight with that idiot at the sect gate, but I havenʼt seen him again since we parted ways there, so I didnʼt do anything to him.

If you donʼt believe me, then you can ask the disciples of your sect about my previous activities, especially since they all saw me and my partner sightseeing in your sect.”

”Zhiqiang, you can take Shuxiang and Zhongguo back to their residence, and you guys also return to the sect right now.” Upon hearing that, Chi Zhiqiang immediately lifted both of them up and took them away from the location. However, they repeatedly glanced at Zhang Fei [1] with hateful gazes, and the elders also obeyed Lian Xiangʼs orders by leaving the area.

After they all left, Lian Xiang asked Zhang Fei [1]. ”Have you killed so many people before?”

ʼHey, Mei! Show me this old womanʼs status.ʼ

ʼThis old woman hates the three ancestors of the Pang Clan so much, huh? If my guess is correct, her husband likely died at their hands, which is why she harbors such intense hatred for them.ʼ Zhang Fei [1] inwardly muttered before asking Lian Xiang back as he smiled faintly. ”Why do you ask that?”

Lian Xiang let out a soft sigh before answering Zhang Fei [1]. ”To build up a killing intent as high as yours, you must have killed countless other living beings. Moreover, I can clearly see that you are not even 20 years old yet, so I am curious about that.”

”Ha ha.” Zhang Fei [1] laughed upon hearing Lian Xiangʼs answer. ”Honestly, Iʼve killed quite a few humans before, but I only killed those who tried to kill me first, as well as those who tried to harm those closest to me. However, because I have killed countless beasts, my killing intent may have become as strong as it is now.”

”I see.” Lian Xiang nodded in understanding before asking Zhang Fei [1] again. ”Did you really not do anything to Ba Yongshan?”

”As I said before, I havenʼt seen him again since we parted ways at your sectʼs gate.” Zhang Fei [1] replied casually, especially since Lian Xiang would not be able to prove anything about his involvement in Ba Yongshanʼs condition. ”Moreover, I could have killed him from the start if I wanted to, but he hadnʼt done anything excessive before, so I didnʼt do anything to him.”

Lian Xiang appeared skeptical about Zhang Feiʼs response, but she was aware that he lacked the earth element, and she could not detect his demon aura in his human form, leading her to doubt his ability to petrify Ba Yongshan. ”In that case, I will go back to the sect now, and you two can continue enjoying the scenery in our sect.”

Before Lian Xiang turned to leave, Zhang Fei [1] faintly smiled and silently activated his demon charm on her, especially since her cultivation was quite high, albeit not as high as that of Shen Xueyi or the two Shen Ancestors.

Lian Xiang instantly felt the effect of Zhang Fei [1]ʼs demon charm and raised her eyebrows, but she immediately ignored the strange feeling and flew away, leaving him and Yi Na behind.

After some time, Yi Na asked Zhang Fei [1]. ”Do you plan to do something to Ba Shuxiang and Chi Zhongguo? According to their earlier expressions, they were clearly furious with you for humiliating them, and they might do something to you soon.”

”Ha ha.” Zhang Fei [1] laughed and hugged Yi Naʼs waist. ”Youʼve been in their shoes yourself, so you should already understand my character, right? Even so, I wonʼt do anything to them right away, and Iʼll wait for their actions against me, especially since Lian Xiang and the others seem very protective of them, so I have a reason to fight back against them.”

Yi Na didnʼt want to comment on the matter, especially since she still regretted her rude attitude towards Zhang Fei [1]. However, she had also enjoyed their time together, and she found it difficult to part with him again. ”Anyway, itʼs getting dark, so it would be better if we go back now.”

”Are you impatient to dual-cultivate with me?” After hearing that, Yi Na immediately turned her face away, but Zhang Fei [1] naturally understood her feelings, so he immediately brought her back to the desolate sect, and they immediately started dual-cultivating as soon as they arrived at the room that Gang Jinshu had prepared for them.

”Aunt Zhiqiang, we-”

”Thatʼs enough, Shuxiang.” Chi Zhiqiang immediately stopped Ba Shuxiang. ”I know youʼre worried about Yongshanʼs condition, but we donʼt have any evidence that Zhang Fei [1] did that to him. Even if our Ba and Chi clans unite to fight him, we still wonʼt be able to win against him, especially since the five clans will definitely support him, and they will destroy our clans.

Anyway, I have asked Xintong and the others to ask the disciples about their previous activities, and they will definitely tell me the results soon, so we will know whether he is lying or not.”

After Chi Zhiqiang left, Ba Shuxiang immediately spoke to her husband. ”Zhongguo, Iʼm sure that it was Zhang Fei [1] who did that to Yongshan, so we have to do something to force him to restore his condition, or he will really die from his internal organs turning to stone.”

”I also think that Zhang Fei [1] is the culprit.” Chi Zhongguo replied while nodding in agreement. ”However, we canʼt do it alone, so Iʼll contact that guy now, and Iʼll ask him to help us.”

Ba Shuxiang naturally knew the identity of the man her husband was referring to, so she immediately agreed with his idea. ”All right, you can contact him now; Iʼm sure he can help us with his abilities.”

Without wasting any time, Chi Zhongguo immediately reached out to him, requesting him to take action against Zhang Fei [1], and he promptly informed his wife about his decision. ”Heʼs already on his way back to the sect, so heʼll be here soon, and I have asked him to do something about that guy.”

”Thatʼs good.” Ba Shuxiang responded with a flash of viciousness in her eyes. ”Iʼm sure he can control that bastard using his abilities, and he can force him to restore Yongshanʼs condition. After that, I will make him pay for what he did to my little brother, and I will also make him regret his humiliation to us.”

Unfortunately, Ba Shuxiang and Chi Zhongguo did not know Zhang Fei [1], so they naturally did not understand his character or cunningness, and they were also unaware that he was always monitoring their movements.

Lian Xiang, who had returned to his room, decided to meditate on the bed, especially after she felt the strange feeling earlier, so she wanted to get rid of it as soon as possible. However, the figure of Zhang Fei [1] kept popping out in her mind, which made it difficult for her to concentrate. ”What exactly did he do to me?

I couldnʼt feel the movement of qi in his body before, but he could make me feel strange like this.”
