Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 329: Yin-Yang Absorber Shackles

Wang Xiaoyi stood alone at the front end of her flying artifact, looking toward the northern region with complicated feelings. After all, that region was home to the heretics, and their numbers werenʼt small either. Thatʼs why she was hesitant to continue her journey into that region, particularly since she had come alone and her granddaughter was in a condition that required constant protection.

”Sigh.” Wang Xiaoyi let out a soft sigh before turning towards the south. Her expression looked disappointed that Chu Liuxiang had not caught up with her, even though he should have known that she had taken their granddaughter away.

Wang Xiaoyi then looked north again, carefully spreading her senses to the outskirts of the region in order to find a safe place. After she searched for some time, she finally found an area that was quite remote, and almost no humans or beasts passed by, so she immediately directed her flying artifact towards that area.

*Bam*

A loud crash from behind started Wang Xiaoyi, so she immediately turned back and saw that the rest rooms had been split in two. Besides, she also saw a giant snake hovering behind her flying artifact, but she was horrified after she saw tens of fiery eyes all over the snakeʼs body, and they were all staring at her.

However, Wang Xiaoyi was shocked as soon as she saw the snakeʼs tail, especially since it was wrapped around her granddaughter, who was still unconscious.

”Youqian!” Wang Xiaoyi shouted loudly as she flew towards the giant snake, but it immediately spat two huge fireballs at her, so she immediately dodged them. Unfortunately, the two fireballs actually smashed her flying artifact, causing it to explode into pieces, and each piece immediately burst into flames as they fell from the sky. ”Damn it! Who are you? Why did you attack us?”

”Ha ha.” The giant snake laughed before returning to her human form, and Wang Xiaoyiʼs eyes widened once she saw that the beast was Boitata. ”Do you remember me now, foolish old woman?”

”You!” Wang Xiaoyi glared fiercely at Boitata as she clenched her fists tightly, but she didnʼt dare move to attack her, especially after she remembered their first meeting a few days ago, and she was completely helpless under the pressure of her aura.

”Itʼs useless for you to look at me like that, you know?” Boitata then strangled Chu Youqianʼs neck from behind as he spoke to Wang Xiaoyi. ”At first, my husband didnʼt want to do anything to you, and he only wanted this little girlʼs life, especially since she had already hatched against an evil scheme for him, so he asked me to wait for you and your husband to hand her over to the Ying Clan.

Unfortunately, you made the wrong decision by attacking Liu Qingyu and taking your granddaughter to escape to this region, so he asked me to capture the two of you.”

”Tch!” Wang Xiaoyi immediately released all her strength, causing her aura to increase several times. ”I know that I am not your opponent, but I will still fight you to the end, even if I have to die!”

”What a fool.” Boitata shook her head and waved her hand as soon as Wang Xiaoyi flew towards her.

Instantly, several water walls appeared around Wang Xiaoyi and confined her within them, which shocked her. After all, Boitata previously used her fire element to destroy her flying artifact, but she also used the water element, and the two elements always opposed each other.

”Damn it!” Wang Xiaoyi muttered curses under her breath before attempting to use her wind element to attack Boitataʼs water walls, only to find all her attacks absorbed and dispersed throughout them, rendering her attacks entirely ineffective. ʼShit! Not only is my wind element weaker than her water element, but my cultivation is also several minor levels below hers!ʼ

”Haha.” Boitata laughed at her expression before flicking her fingers, causing numerous water droplets to immediately emerge from the water walls and attack Wang Xiaoyi simultaneously.

”Argh!” Wang Xiaoyi screamed in pain from Boitataʼs attacks, and the dress covering her body began to have holes in many places. However, she tried to use her Qi to lessen the impact of Boitataʼs attacks, but the difference in their strength rendered her efforts futile.

Although those water droplets did not penetrate through her body, their attacks still left many red marks, and she also felt significant pain all over her body.

Even so, Boitata did not stop her attacks, instead channeling her fire elements into the water walls, causing them to quickly boil. Wang Xiaoyi felt increasingly painful as a result of all her attacks, and her screams kept resounding from inside; even her consciousness began to fade because of the pain and the heat.

After a few minutes, Wang Xiaoyi finally fell unconscious, so Boitata removed her water walls, supported her with his aura, and took the two women to the location that her husband had shown her before.

In a few minutes, Boitata had arrived at Zhang Xiaolongʼs place, and she immediately handed the two women over to him. ”All right, you can enter the beast space now, especially since Feltia will be arriving at the Amaris Twinsʼs tower soon, and she will need your help to deal with the black Amaris.”

Without a word, Boitata immediately entered the beast space, and Zhang Xiaolong squatted beside Chu Youqian before stuffing the antidote powder into her mouth.

Zhang Xiaolong then channeled his light qi into Chu Youqianʼs body to cure her illness, and he also healed the wounds on Wang Xiaoyiʼs body resulting from Boitataʼs previous attack. Besides, he also stripped them naked, but he didnʼt seem interested in dual-cultivating with them, and he had already prepared another plan to torture them. ”Mei, you can buy those artifacts now.”

[Yes.]

{You got Earth-Grade Yin-Yang Absorber Shackles x2}

{1,000,000 green jewels have been deducted from your balance.}

Zhang Xiaolong could only smile bitterly at the prices of those artifacts, especially considering that their grade was only earth-grade but their prices were already exorbitant, let alone those of artifacts at heaven-grade and above.

He then took them out of the system inventory, and each artifact consisted of four black and white shackles connected by chains, which were also connected to a fairly large clear tube.

[Yin-Yang Absorber Shackle: This artifact absorbs the wearerʼs Qi, depositing it into the tube for the owner to absorb. In addition, it also absorbs their strength, preventing the person wearing it from exerting his or her power.]

”If I think about it again, these artifacts are truly vicious; their function is similar to life-force absorption or beast essence absorption, but they only absorb their Qi and strength.” Zhang Xiaolong then put those shackles on the hands and feet of the two women, and he also removed the seal on their cultivation before waking them up.

Wang Xiaoyi was immediately shocked as soon as she opened her eyes and saw Zhang Xiaolong, but she was even more shocked to find her hands and feet in shackles. However, she discovered that her cultivation was not sealed, so she tried to use her power to attack him. ”Bastard! I will kill you with my own hands!”

Unfortunately, the Yin-Yang Absorber Shackles directly absorbed Wang Xiaoyiʼs Qi and strength, causing her to fall to the ground again. She then tried to remove those shackles, but to no avail.

”Hahaha.” Zhang Xiaolong laughed at Wang Xiaoyiʼs behavior, and he pulled her hair up while smiling evilly. ”Have you realized your situation, old granny? If only you had not attacked Qingyu, you would never have experienced this kind of fate. However, you donʼt need to worry because I wonʼt kill you and Chu Youqian, and Iʼm not interested in touching your bodies either.

Instead, these shackles will make you guys my dairy cows, and they will absorb both of your qi, so I can use them to improve my cultivation.”

Wang Xiaoyiʼs anger boiled after she heard that, and she didnʼt want to be used by Zhang Xiaolong as his cultivation furnace, so she tried to taunt him. ”Heh! You are a cowardly brat who is reliant on the abilities of others to capture us. If you dare, release me and fight me with your own strength!”

”Is that so?” Zhang Xiaolong asked with a slight smirk. ”Youʼre too old and senile now. Arenʼt you a coward yourself, taunting me into letting go and fighting with you? Your cultivation is in the heaven realm, and mine is in the soul realm, remember? No matter what method, winning is still winning, and you two have fallen into my hands now, so you guys can enjoy your time as dairy cows.

Anyway, you two will live as long as you are useful to me; if you are no longer useful to me, you will die, but I wonʼt let you die so easily.”

Zhang Xiaolong lifted Wang Xiaoyi to her feet and stuck the chain in her hands on one of the walls, but she continued to struggle to break free as she glared at him. Unfortunately, each time she unleashed her power, the shackles instantly absorbed it, causing her power to fade once more.

Zhang Xiaolong ignored Wang Xiaoyi, and he did the same to Chu Youqian by hanging her opposite her grandmother. ”Pang Hong, even though they wonʼt be able to escape from this place, I still want you to keep a watch on them.”

”Yes, Master.”

Hearing that, Wang Xiaoyi looked at the slave in shock, especially since she knew for sure that Pang Hong was supposed to be a man, but the person standing before her was a woman. ʼWhat the hell happened to him? How did he become a woman? Did this little bastard do that to him? How does he transform a man into a woman?ʼ

Noticing her curiosity, Zhang Xiaolong approached Wang Xiaoyi again and touched her chest. ”Are you curious about how I can turn Pang Hong into a woman? What if I show you by turning you into a man?”

”No!” Wang Xiaoyi immediately screamed at Zhang Xiaolong as her body shuddered at the thought of him turning her into a man.

”Haha.” Zhang Xiaolong laughed softly and used the body modification ability on Wang Xiaoyi, and her expression became deathly pale when she looked down, especially since her breasts quickly shrank before disappearing completely. However, once her breasts returned to their original size, she was stunned and looked at him with horror.

”Actually, I still have many other abilities, but I donʼt have time to show them one by one, and you should know that I can do things against you without relying on them. However, I donʼt want to waste time with you two, so I asked Boitata to take care of you two.”

”Mhmm.”

They suddenly heard a low groan, so they immediately turned to Chu Youqian, who had just opened her eyes, and Zhang Xiaolong inquired. ”Finally awake?”

Since she had been asleep for quite some time, Chu Youqianʼs mind was quite fuzzy when she opened her eyes, and it took her some time to return to full consciousness. However, her expression turned terrified as soon as she saw Zhang Xiaolong, and even more so when she saw the naked Wang Xiaoyi chained to the wall. She also immediately realized that she was in the same situation as her grandmother.

”You... You...”

Zhang Xiaolong smiled at hearing Chu Youqian stutter. ”We didnʼt know each other before, but your jealousy of my little sister already clouded your judgment, making it difficult for you to distinguish between good and bad. You even wanted to inform Shen Haoran of my relationship with Yuʼer. As a result, I killed Ying Xiao, so his death was your fault because you were the one who sent him to do that.

Besides, the two of you are also in this situation because of your fault, so you can only blame yourself for everything that happened to you guys.”

Chu Youqianʼs mouth opened and closed several times as she wanted to say something to Zhang Xiaolong, but not a word came out of her mouth. She turned to her grandmother as tears flowed from her eyes. ”Grandma... I...”

Wang Xiaoyi could only sigh at seeing her granddaughter like that, but she then spoke to Chu Youqian. ”You are my dear granddaughter, so I never blame you, and this bastard is at fault.”

”All right, you two can enjoy yourselves here, and I will go to take care of my other matters.” After saying that, Zhang Xiaolong immediately left the area and used his invisibility to travel somewhere else, with the intention of visiting the Pang Clan. However, he quickly changed his mind, opting to investigate the Mo Clan first, particularly given the busy situation in the Xie Clan.

After his disappearance, Chu Youqian asked her grandmother a question. ”What will happen to us, Grandma? I donʼt want that bastard to touch me, so you have to think of a way to free us from this place.”

”Unfortunately, I canʼt do anything, Youqian.” Wang Xiaoyi replied with a disappointed sigh. ”These shackles absorb our strength and qi, so we will never be able to escape from this place.”

Hearing that, Chu Youqian immediately tried to use her strength, but the result was just as Wang Xiaoyi had told her, and it made her look even more depressed; even her tears flowed more profusely as she lamented her fate.

”Anyway, that bastard already said that he wonʼt touch us, and he just wants to utilize our qi through these shackles, so you donʼt need to think about that.” Even though Wang Xiaoyi said that, Chu Youqian was not calm at all. ”For now, we just need to be patient with our circumstances, and I will look for opportunities to bring you out of this place.”
