Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 322: Killing People

”Argh!”

Shen Tianyu immediately let out a scream of pain as Zhang Fei activated the demon absorption technique and essence absorption technique simultaneously, which horrified Shen Haoran and the others, especially since his skin began to turn pale and wrinkled.

”Stop! Please! Donʼt torture my son like that!” Shen Xiwu screamed as she tried to stand up, but Zhang Fei immediately activated his heavenly fox aura to suppress her to the ground. ”Please! Kill us if you want, but donʼt torture my son!”

Naturally, Zhang Fei did not listen to Shen Xiwuʼs pleas and continued his actions, but he felt something starting to enter his mind, which was Shen Tianyuʼs understanding of many things.

In addition, Zhang Fei could feel that his cultivation was starting to increase, especially since the demon absorption technique allowed him to absorb not only other peopleʼs life force but also their cultivation. ʼThis feeling is absolutely amazing, Mei.

My cultivation will definitely increase rapidly if I absorb all of their cultivation, which might allow me to reach the earth realm faster than our estimation.ʼ

However, Mei immediately warned Zhang Fei. [Master, the demon absorption technique can indeed help you with that, but it is too vile. However, taking a shortcut like this to improve your cultivation is not beneficial for you, as it could lead to instability in your cultivation, potentially crumbling your foundation and leaving you crippled.]

”Fei ʼer! Stop it!” Shen Xueyi abruptly uttered these words as she sensed Zhang Feiʼs cultivation accelerating. ”I know that you canʼt wait to become strong and free Hu Yue from their hands, but you shouldnʼt take shortcuts like this because it will only harm you. Furthermore, you already have numerous wives, all of whom would be devastated if something bad happened to you.”

Shen Yu also joined in to persuade Zhang Fei. ”Please stop this, husband. You have us by your side, and we will always help you improve your cultivation, so you donʼt need to use such an evil technique to do it.”

”You should listen to them, Zhang Fei.” Shen Huang also spoke to him. ”Donʼt you yourself hate the people from the Pang Clan? If you use their techniques to strengthen yourself, then what is the difference between you and them?

Such techniques will only make you addicted to taking shortcuts, which will slowly turn you into a heretic cultivator like them, and you may become even more vicious than they are. Furthermore, you possess numerous advantages that others lack, so it would be beneficial to stop this and utilize your other advantages to strengthen yourself.”

Unlike them, Shen Xinya chose not to say anything to Zhang Fei, and she hoped that he would not stop using his vicious techniques. That way, he would become stronger faster, and he could help her reach a higher level of cultivation.

Although Zhang Fei was stubborn and ambitious enough to become strong, he was already aware of the risks. In response, he ceased using the demon absorption technique, which halted his cultivation, but he continued to use his essence absorption technique on Shen Tianyu.

Instead, Zhang Fei accelerated the absorption of his technique, causing Shen Tianyu to continuously scream in pain. As his beast essence continued to absorb him, his body began to dry up even more quickly.

Although they felt that Zhang Feiʼs Essence Absorption Technique was still too evil, Shen Xueyi and the others did not stop him from using it on Shen Tianyu, especially since they knew that he needed a lot of beast essence to evolve.

After a few minutes, Shen Tianyuʼs screams were no longer heard because he had died with his body completely dried up, and Zhang Fei smiled in satisfaction as a notification appeared in his mind.

[You gained 20,000 beast essences.]

Shen Xiwu and Shen Haoran were devastated after they witnessed their son die tragically with their own eyes, and Zhang Fei directly threw Shen Tianyuʼs remains in front of them, which made all of them terrified, imagining if he used that technique on them.

”Are you going to use that technique on them, too, husband?” Shen Yu questioned Zhang Fei.

”Yes.” Zhang Fei replied with a nod. ”I still lack a large amount of beast essence to evolve to the five-tails, and the amount of beast essence I need to evolve to the six-tails will be even greater. Thatʼs why I wonʼt hold myself back, and I will absorb their beast essences to evolve into five-tails as soon as possible.”

”I see.” Shen Yu nodded in understanding before asking Zhang Fei again. ”Donʼt you want to make some of them your slaves? Shen Xiwuʼs cultivation is at the 9-Star Heaven Realm, so I think it would be a waste if you killed her, and it would be better if you enslaved her. That way, you can get her yin qi and beast essence at the same time, and you can improve both of them faster.”

Shen Xiwuʼs face turned pale after she heard her words, and she never thought that Shen Yu would give such a wicked idea to her husband; even her body was trembling strongly at the thought of having to serve her sonʼs killer. ”No! No! I donʼt want to be your slave! You can kill me now, so I can accompany my son in the afterlife!”

”Do you think you have any other choice?” Zhang Fei then crouched down beside Shen Xiwu before touching her chest. ”You will be my cultivation furnace for the rest of your life.”

”No!” Shen Xiwu screamed loudly as she felt something appear inside her soul, which she realized was Zhang Feiʼs slave mark. Unfortunately, her resistance proved futile, and in just a few seconds, his slave mark completely embedded itself in her soul, causing tears to flow freely from her eyes.

”Heh!” Zhang Fei snorted softly as he stood up, and he then looked towards Shen Haoranʼs loyalists, especially the female ones. However, Mei immediately told him that their yin qi was too weak, even though their cultivation was quite high, so he abandoned his desire to enslave them.

Zhang Fei then used his Essence Absorption Technique on them one by one, causing their screams to continue echoing in the prison. The three women from Shen Haoranʼs side were truly heartbroken to see them all die in such a miserable manner.

Zhang Fei didnʼt use his technique on Shen Xiu directly, which made her feel relieved that she didnʼt have to die such a horrible death, but she still didnʼt realize that he had other plans for her.

[You gained 350,000 beast essences.]

”Phew.” Zhang Fei let out a sigh before speaking to Shen Xueyi. ”This way, your Shen Clan will be completely under your control, and it would be better for you to immediately eliminate them if there are people like them appearing within your clan again in the future.”

Shen Xueyi nodded in agreement with Zhang Fei, but she then pointed at Shen Xiu. ”Whatʼre you going to do to her? Xiuʼer is Wansanʼs niece, and her parents are still there, but she was so stupid to side with Haoran.”

”Hmm?” Zhang Fei glanced at the woman before pulling her in front of them, touching Shen Xiu and Shen Yuʼs chests simultaneously. ”This woman joined Shen Haoran because of her jealousy of Yuʼer, but she had no direct problems with me, so I let her live. However, I still have to do something about her; she will be my wifeʼs slave for the rest of her life.”

Shen Xiu was shocked after hearing Zhang Feiʼs answer, and she naturally did not want to be a slave. However, she also didnʼt want to die a horrible death like Shen Haoran and the others, so she thought that it was better for her. She was confident that Shen Yu wouldnʼt torture her, and she wouldnʼt live a miserable life even though she had to be her cousinʼs slave.

”Husband, I -” Zhang Fei stopped Shen Yu with a shake of his head, and he immediately planted his demon slave mark into Shen Xiuʼs soul, causing her to tremble as his mark appeared inside her soul. Just as he had planned, he directly transferred his slave mark into Shen Yuʼs soul, so her cousin would be under her complete control.

After he finished, Zhang Fei immediately pulled back both of his hands and said to Shen Yu. ”Your cousin is your slave now, and she will obey all your commands, so you can do whatever you want to her.”

Shen Yu let out a soft sigh, as she actually did not want that, but she was fully aware that Zhang Fei would not change his mind once he had decided on something, so she chose to accept it. ”All right, I agree with you, and Iʼll keep Xiu by my side.

Although she chose to side with Shen Haoran, she is not truly evil, and she chose that way only because of her jealousy and envy, so I will not do anything to her.”

”Thatʼs up to you.” Zhang Fei then hugged Shen Yuʼs waist before using his fire qi to burn all the corpses in the prison. He also ordered Shen Shixi and Shen Xiwu to wait for him somewhere else, after which he took his new wife away.

Shen Yu ordered her cousin to return to her private quarters and act naturally as usual, because she did not want Shen Xiuʼs parents to know that she was her slave now.

After they left, Shen Huang spoke to her granddaughter. ”I still canʼt understand how Zhang Fei could be so cruel despite his young age, and he never thinks twice about killing people.”

”Perhaps Zhang Fei became that cruel because of the influence of his demon bloodline.” Shen Huang nodded in agreement with Shen Xueyi, as she herself thought the same thing. ”Even so, he still has his humanity, and I am sure that he will never be as cruel as those demon invaders, so I think we donʼt need to worry about him.”

Unlike her granddaughter, Shen Huang was not completely convinced, and she thought that Zhang Fei would become even more cruel if he allowed his demon bloodline to continue influencing him. ”Now the problems in our clan are resolved, and the Du Clan is also being wiped out by the Liu Clan.

This way, only the Cai and You clans are left in this region, and this region will be completely safe if those two clans also disappear.”

”Yes.” Shen Xueyi nodded to her great-grandmother. ”I think Zhang Fei already has plans for the You clan, but I donʼt know about it yet, especially since he hasnʼt discussed it with me. Regarding the Cai clan, he already told me that he is still waiting for Chang Wuhenʼs decision, and he will act immediately if she agrees to get rid of the clan.”

”After all, Chang Wuhen is the strongest in this realm, and her Chang clan is powerful. Moreover, the Cai clan is her in-laws, so I think Zhang Fei made a good decision by not taking action against that clan right away, and we just need to wait for news from him regarding that clan.” Shen Huang then turned to her daughter, Shen Xinya, who kept looking towards the exit.

However, Shen Huang chose not to speak to her daughter because she was aware of Shen Xinyaʼs stubborn nature and unwillingness to listen to her. Therefore, she allowed her daughter to pursue her own desires, and she left the place before departing from their sect.

Shen Xueyi herself fully understood her motherʼs stubbornness, and she then spoke to Shen Xinya. ”Mother, I know your desire to dual-cultivate with Zhang Fei, but I hope you donʼt disturb him and Yuʼer for now, and you can wait for them to finish their wedding night before you go to see him.”

”I know.” Shen Xinya replied briefly before disappearing from the scene.

Shen Xuei let out a soft sigh before going to meet her loyalists, and she told them about Zhang Feiʼs action to kill Shen Haoran and the others, which was quite surprising for Shen Yang and the others, but they were also relieved that they were dead.

However, Shen Xueyi did not tell them about how Zhang Fei killed them, and she told them that their corpses had been burned to ashes by him, so they did not need to bother taking care of their corpses.

Meanwhile, Zhang Fei had already brought Shen Yu to their bridal chamber, but they did not immediately dual-cultivate. Instead, they chatted while reminiscing about their first meeting at the Blazing Volcano. ”I still find your attitude at that time funny, especially since we didnʼt know each other before.

However, you suddenly approached me and expressed your desire to take me as your wife, and I really didnʼt know what answer to give you.”

”Haha.” Zhang Fei laughed and rubbed Shen Yuʼs cheek. ”Donʼt you realize that you are such a stunning beauty? Your beauty captivated me when I first saw you, and I immediately wanted you to be my wife. Although I had to wait quite a long time, I am truly grateful that you are now my wife.”

”Yes.” Shen Yu nodded to Zhang Fei before laying her head on his shoulder. ”I am truly grateful to have met you, and I am really happy that you are now my husband. If I had not met you, I would have married Shen Tianyu today and lived an unhappy life for the rest of my life.”

Hearing that, Zhang Fei lifted Shen Yuʼs head and looked at her. ”You donʼt have to remember that anymore, okay? Shen Tianyu is dead now, and I will definitely make you happy.”

Shen Yu smiled and nodded to Zhang Fei, then walked in front of the dressing table and sat down. ”Husband, help me take off my wedding dress, so we can start our wedding night.”
