Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 307: Zhang Feiʼs Arrogance

After hearing Ba Yongshanʼs words, Qin Zheng and the other four disciples frowned, especially since Zhang Fei [1] was clearly Ye Lianʼs fiancé, but he was acting that way towards him out of jealousy.

Ye Lian was also furious about that. ”You-”

”All right, you donʼt have to be angry with a spoiled brat like him, Lianʼer.” Zhang Fei [1] stopped Ye Lian immediately, which caused Ba Yongshan to frown.

”You may be able to act arrogantly within the Heavenly Sword Sect thanks to Ba Jiawenʼs status as sect master, but your status as his nephew is useless outside your sect, especially since your Ba Clan is just a minor clan in the western region.”

”Pfft! Hahaha!” Jing Qiu, Qian He, Luo Feng, and Chao Qing burst out laughing after hearing Zhang Fei [1]ʼs reply to Ba Yongshan, especially since not a single disciple from their sect dared to say such a thing to him, mainly because Ba Jiawen is always protective of his clan members, and he will punish them if they insult his clan members.

Even Qin Zheng, who had been serious until now, could barely hold back her laughter. ʼThis kid is really bold! Ba Yongshan has never met an opponent like him, so letʼs see his reaction first.ʼ

”Hahaha!” Ye Lian laughed out loud as she repeatedly slapped Zhang Fei [1]ʼs shoulders. ”Hahaha! You are right, Fei. Thatʼs why I chose Gu Zhan in the past, especially since Ba Yongshan has never been aware of his status, and he always uses the name of our sect master to do as he pleases.”

After hearing Ye Lianʼs words, Ba Yongshanʼs face darkened, and his entire bodyʼs muscles bulged out, causing his killing intent to leak out of his body. However, he instantly froze in place as soon as Zhang Fei [1] unleashed his own killing intent, and cold sweat began to wash over his body.

Even the two gatekeepers, Qin Zheng, and the other four disciples instinctively took a few steps back to get away from them, as they gulped hard after they sensed Zhang Fei [1]ʼs killing intent. Only Ye Lian and Yi Na, who looked relaxed, stood beside him.

After all, Zhang Fei [1] had killed far more humans, beasts, or demon beasts, which made his killing intent much sharper and more intense than Ba Yongshanʼs.

Even so, Zhang Fei [1] had no intention of causing a scene in the desolate sect, so he immediately retracted his killing intent before speaking to Ba Yongshan. ”Youʼre lucky, you know? If you had dared to make a move to hurt Lianʼer, I would have killed you on the spot, and I would have also sent my people to destroy your Ba Clan today.

Anyway, you donʼt need to show me your meager arrogance, and Iʼll show you what real arrogance is.”

After he said that, Zhang Fei [1] immediately took out four plaques.

One was the plaque from the Liu Clan that Liu Hua had given him when his clone was about to join the Yin-Yang Pavilion; one was a plaque from the Chu Clan given by Liu Qingyu after he married the Chu Sisters; one was a plaque from the Zhang Clan given by Zhang Lingxue after their first night; and the last was a plaque from the Shen Clan that he borrowed from Shen Yu just now.

When she saw the four plaques, Ye Lian immediately took out her Ye Clan plaque and gave it to Zhang Fei [1]. ”You are my fiancé, and weʼre getting married soon, so you can keep it along with the four plaques.”

Not only was Ba Yongshan shocked to see the five plaques in Zhang Feiʼs hands [1], but even Qin Zheng and the others were shocked looking at all five of them, especially since all of those plaques belonged to the five major powerful clans in three different regions.

Unlike them, Yi Na was only curious about the plaque belonging to the Shen Clan, especially since Zhang Fei [1] had never told her about his relationship with the clan, and she also knew that Shen Yu would marry Shen Tianhu soon. ʼThis guy is really insane! He has gotten many women from the four clans, and he is also a member of the Shen Clan now.ʼ

”See these five plaques?” Zhang Fei [1] asked as he showed the five to Ba Yongshan. ”Do you think your minor Ba Clan can match any of these five clans? Oh! You donʼt need to doubt their authenticity, especially since Liu Hua, Chu Ying, Chu Qing, and Zhang Lingxue are my wives. Ye Lian and Shen Yu are my fiancées, and I will marry them both soon.”

Zhang Fei [1]ʼs revelation of his relationship with the six women stunned Qin Zheng and the others, and they glanced at Ye Lian, who immediately confirmed it with a nod.

”Next time, think carefully before you go looking for trouble with others, lest your actions bring ruin to your Ba Clan.” Zhang Fei [1] then stored the other four plaques in his inventory before giving the Zhang Clan plaque to the two gatekeepers. ”Brothers, I am indeed not one of their entourage, and I came here specifically to see Elder Gang Jinshu.

So please inform him of my arrival, and please tell him that I only wish to speak to him regarding the metal element, so I will not waste too much of his time.”

”Yes… yes… I will inform Elder Gang Jinshu right away.” After the guard took the Zhang Clan plaque from Zhang Fei [1]ʼs hand, he immediately ran into his sect.

As they waited for the guard to return, Ye Lian chose to introduce Zhang Fei [1] to Qin Zheng and the four disciples, and he did not mind it, especially since he could see for himself that they were decent people.

As for Yi Na, she had always positioned herself as Zhang Fei [1]ʼs dual cultivation partner, and she herself was another manʼs wife, so she did not want to interact with them because she was afraid that they would realize her identity.

”Haha.” Chao Qing suddenly laughed as he spoke to Zhang Fei [1]. ”Brother, I donʼt know how you managed to win the hearts of your wives, but I really admire you for managing to get the women from those major clans. Even Ye Lian seems to be willing to accept your relationship with them, even though she used to oppose Gu Zhanʼs relationship.”

Luo Feng nodded in agreement with Chao Qing before speaking to Zhang Fei [1]. ”Brother, Ye Lian is a good woman, and we have been good friends for a long time, so I hope you will continue to protect her and not hurt her feelings like Gu Zhan did to her in the past.”

”Thatʼs for sure, brother. Not only Lianʼer, but I will also always protect all my wives, and I will kill anyone who dares to hurt them.” Zhang Fei [1] replied to Long Feng as he glanced sharply at Ba Yongshan, who immediately rushed into the Desolate Sect out of fear and shame at the same time. He then replied to Chao Qing.

”Unlike Gu Zhan, I didnʼt want to deceive her with sweet promises, so I never hid my relationship with my other wives from her, and she was willing to accept me even though she had known about our relationship from the start.”

”Youʼre a real man, brother!” Chao Qing then stretched out his hand towards Zhang Fei [1]. ”Iʼm glad to know you, and I hope we can have a good relationship in the future.”

”Sure!” Zhang Fei [1] replied as he grabbed Chao Qingʼs hand. ”You guys are Lianʼerʼs friends, so you guys are also my friends, and we might be able to go on adventures together to get to know each other. Unfortunately, I still have a lot of problems on hand, so I have to clear them one by one to make the situation more under control.”

Chao Qing nodded in understanding and separated their hands. ”If you have a lot of free time, you can visit us at the Heavenly Sword Sect, Brother.”

”All right.” Zhang Fei [1] replied with a nod of agreement.

Unlike the two male disciples, Jing Qiu and Qian He repeatedly stole glances at Zhang Fei [1], especially since his handsome face and strong charm captivated them.

Ye Lian observed the actions of the two female disciples and let out a soft sigh, muttering quietly in her heart. ʼAlthough Fei did not use his demon charm on them, his natural charm is deadly to them, and they would surely submit completely to him if he used it on them.ʼ

After they had waited for some time, the gatekeeper returned to them with a middle-aged man wearing a shabby blacksmithʼs clothes, and he immediately returned the Zhang Clan plaque to Zhang Fei [1].

The middle-aged man was none other than Gang Jinshu, and the heat from the fire during the forging process, combined with the remnants of the materials he used, had left his entire body black. Even so, his expression was one of joy, and he immediately asked Zhang Fei [1]. ”Are you the one who wanted to meet with me to discuss the metal element? Could you please show me your element?”

”Iʼm sorry to disappoint you, Elder.” Zhang Fei [1]ʼs reply made Gang Jinshu frown. ”I donʼt have the metal element, but one of my women does. Since I donʼt have any knowledge about the metal element, I decided to come here to see you because you are the owner of the metal element, and I want to discuss that element with you so I can teach her about it.”

Gang Jinshu nodded in understanding before speaking. ”Please come to my private quarters; weʼll talk there. Actually, it would be better if you brought your woman here so I can explain everything to her directly, and sheʼll definitely be able to understand it easier than through a third party.”

”Well, thatʼs true.” Zhang Fei [1] agreed with that and nodded. ”In that case, elder, we can go to your private quarters now, and Iʼll show you something later, which will surely please you.”

Gang Jinshu swiftly departed to guide Zhang Fei [1] to his private quarters, while simultaneously ordering the two gatekeepers. ”One of you can lead our guests to the guest area, and Chi Zhiqiang will meet them there.”

”Yes, Elder Jinshu.”

After that, one of the gatekeepers led Qin Zheng and the other disciples to the guest hall, and Ye Lian also went with them to meet with Chi Zhiqiang. Meanwhile, Yi Na decides to follow Zhang Fei [1] to Gang Jinshuʼs private quarters.

Sometime later, Zhang Fei [1] and Yi Na had arrived at Gang Jinshuʼs private place, but it was more like a blacksmithʼs workshop, and the place was filled with various kinds of forging equipment, including two large forges located in the north of the room. ”So what do you want to show me, kid?”

”Haha.” Zhang Fei [1] laughed upon hearing that, especially since he originally didnʼt want to introduce Shi Xi to Gang Jinshu, but he changed his mind after thinking about his previous words. ʼMei, open the portal to the training space.ʼ

Gang Jinshu looked at Zhang Fei [1] in shock after the portal appeared, which made him think that he had the void element, or else he wouldnʼt have done such a thing.

Unfortunately, Gang Jinshu misunderstood the portal, especially since it had nothing to do with the void element, and it was thanks to the system.

Even so, Gang Jinshu was not a nosy person, and he himself did not like it when others pry into his personal affairs, so he did not ask Zhang Fei [1] about it.

Soon, it was not only Shi Xi who walked out of the training space, but Shi Wu followed behind her sister, especially since they had never seen the Sky Jade Realm in person.

”Oh?” Gang Jinshu raised his eyebrows in surprise after he saw the two women, but his eyes immediately fell on Shi Xi, and he nodded repeatedly with a serious face. ”One has the wood element, and the other has the metal element. Both elements are quite rare, so you are lucky to have them both by your side. Unfortunately, they havenʼt been cultivated for long, right?”

”Yes.” Zhang Fei [1] nodded to Gang Jinshu. ”Actually, they both became cultivators today, and I heard about you from Shen Yu, so I came straight to this sect to meet you.”

”I see.” Given that the gatekeeper had informed him about Zhang Fei [1]ʼs relationship with the five clans, Gang Jinshu was no longer surprised to hear this and asked Shi Xi. ”Do you want to be my personal disciple, little girl? You may not know me, but Iʼm this realmʼs top metal cultivator. Although there are other metal element cultivators in this realm, none can teach you as well as I can.

If you are willing to be my disciple, I will pass on all my knowledge of metal elements to you, and I will also teach you to become one of the best blacksmiths in this realm.”

Shi Xi felt at a loss to give Gang Jinshu an answer, especially since she did not know him, and she was also still a beginner in the cultivation world, so she was afraid that he would hurt her later.

Zhang Fei [1] immediately spoke to Gang Jinshu. ”Elder, how about you explain the basics of the metal element to Xiʼer for now? That way, she can study the metal element while thinking about your offer first.”

”All right.” Gang Jinshu immediately agreed with Zhang Fei, and he asked Shi Xi to sit in front of him before he began to explain to her about the metal element.
