Back To The 80s: President's Doted Wife

Chapter 1691 - 1692: Can’t You Just Give Me a Quick One?

No matter how unwilling, Qi Taiguo’s transfer is already a foregone conclusion. While he spends the next few days handling tasks, Cheng Su takes the opportunity to prepare his luggage. After all, once he leaves, who knows how many chances he’ll have to return.

Meanwhile, the shop in Guangcheng needs renovating, and since school hasn’t started yet, Cheng Su thinks she might as well send Qi Taiguo there and discuss the renovation plans with her uncle.

When she shares this idea with him, Qi Taiguo responds, ”Even though I’m passing by Guangcheng, I’m heading straight to Zhu City after getting off the train.”

Meaning he won’t be staying in Guangcheng.

Cheng Su says, ”Then I’ll just give you a small send-off.”

Qi Taiguo wants to say something, but seeing her eager eyes, he says, ”Alright, if you don’t mind the effort, then let’s go.”

Only then does Cheng Su smile and happily go to book the tickets.

Since she’s heading to Guangcheng, she obviously plans to take Qi Xiaoqi and the others with her. There are accommodations there, after all, and there are still ten days before school starts, so living in Guangcheng for a while is fine.

With this plan, she tidies up the luggage for everyone.

The two days pass in a flash, and on the night before departure, Cheng Su deliberately takes the little Qi Xiaoqi to her granny’s room, while she herself indulges in deep affection with Qi Taiguo.

”Silly girl, it’s not like I’m leaving forever,” Qi Taiguo is both amused and exasperated by her enthusiasm. Is it really necessary? They’re just temporarily apart, yet she acts like she’s draining him completely.

Cheng Su covers his mouth and raises her head, saying, ”Don’t talk, focus.” Then she lowers her head again.

Qi Taiguo feels an unbearable itch all over and starts to breathe heavily.

Alright, focusing it is.

He enjoys her passionate service, feeling his mind tangled by her, nearly reaching the peak, only for the mischievous girl to suddenly move her lips away.

”Cheng Su!” Qi Taiguo growls, gripping her shoulder, ”Can’t you just give me a break!”

Cheng Su laughs, looks up at him, and wipes a shimmering trace from the corner of her mouth with the back of her hand.

”Beg me!” She smiles triumphantly.

Qi Taiguo grinds his teeth, swiftly lifts her, and pins her underneath him, ”Who’s begging who now?”

Before long, the room is filled with intimate pleas, soft whispers that make one’s face blush.

After satisfying their desires, both take a long breath, holding each other while chatting on the bed.

”It’s good to have your own place; you can do anything freely,” Qi Taiguo whispers, embracing Cheng Su’s naked shoulder.

Cheng Su glances at him, playfully scolding, ”Were you not free before?”

”I was, but it’s not quite the same as now,” Qi Taiguo laughs softly.

Cheng Su snorts, poking his chest, ”Once you’re over there, you’ll be a lone monk. Don’t even think about glancing at other female soldiers or have any wandering thoughts.”

Qi Taiguo laughs heartily, ”You’re getting jealous before I’ve even left?”

Cheng Su says, ”I’m famously jealous—the whole courtyard knows it.”

Qi Taiguo is delighted, kissing her on the temple, ”I’m someone’s exclusive property; these eyes wouldn’t dare wander.”

Only then does Cheng Su show a satisfied expression, knowing that days like these, where they’re deeply in love, will be rare for a while. She cuddles up to him like a cat, wrapping her arms around his waist and resting her face on his chest.

”I’ll miss you.”

Qi Taiguo gently pats her back, kisses the top of her head, and says, ”I’ll miss you too. But don’t worry, when our hearts are together, distance doesn’t seem far.”

When hearts are close, distance never poses a problem.
