692: Chapter 105: Duel 692: Chapter 105: Duel Survival of the fittest, one wonders how far the so-called Bushido has strayed from such a philosophy, but to Mo Xiaofei, this Nagato Shinji seems to believe so.

Power, how should it be used?

Mo Xiaofei had long since made up his mind and didn’t want to change his original intention… but that didn’t mean he couldn’t be flexible.

The monitor and the others still had no news, where does he have the time to continue dawdling here with the Nagato House? “Then let’s duel.” Mo Xiaofei stood up, looked at the tip of the blade in Nagato Shinji’s hand, and said seriously, “However, I won’t be using weapons.” “Are you looking down on me?” Nagato Shinji’s face immediately showed a hint of anger upon hearing this.

Not wanting to entangle any further, Mo Xiaofei said, “Alright, at the right time, I’ll draw my sword… but, are you really planning to make a move here?” “For a Samurai, every place is a battlefield!” Nagato Shinji shouted, raising the sword with both hands above his head, standing in a straight line with one foot in front of the other, slightly leaning forward, and rapidly advancing.

To Mo Xiaofei… too slow.

A side step, Mo Xiaofei casually placed his foot, and directly knocked Nagato Shinji to the ground.

Nagato Shinji quickly got up, his cheeks burning with embarrassment, especially with his father and uncle sitting in front, which made him even more uncomfortable. “Damn it!!”

He then struck horizontally, seemingly thrown off by anger…

Mo Xiaofei easily retreated a step, dodging effortlessly… compared to the training he received from Long Xiruo, this Samurai’s attack was not even worth a comparison. —— having been completely devastated by the teacher recently, he’s started to question life!

Seeing Nagato Shinji’s frustrated expression now, Mo Xiaofei felt like he was looking at himself during training. —— could it be…

I’ve become quite powerful?

Still with a bit of youthful nature… but he indeed didn’t want to entangle too much, and planned to end this boring conflict… let’s use a mental impact.

Mo Xiaofei locked his gaze on Nagato Shinji, his eyes suddenly changed, but in that moment, a feeling of weightlessness suddenly came!

Surprised, Mo Xiaofei looked down, only to see the floor beneath him suddenly open up out of nowhere, below was a pitch-black big hole!

Crack!

The floor that opened up instantly closed again, trapping him beneath the mechanism.

Seeing his opponent suddenly disappear, Nagato Shinji angrily turned to his father, “I can beat him!!”

Lord Nagato just said blandly, “Our goal is not to beat him, but to capture him.

It’s enough if he can serve us.”

Nagato Shinji’s eyes widened, “I said!

I can beat him!”

Lord Nagato snorted coldly, “Stand down!”

Nagato Shinji gritted his teeth, his wrist holding the hilt of the sword slightly trembling, eventually lowering his head in frustration, “Yes!”

Nagato Shinji turned directly and left, only then did Lord Nagato withdraw his gaze slightly.

On the side, Nagato Saburo said softly, “Big brother, Shinji is still young, being too harsh might not be good.”

Beside Nagato Saburo was still a rope — it was indeed Nagato Saburo who pulled this rope when Mo Xiaofei stood on the mechanism, triggering it. “How I teach does not require your interference!” Lord Nagato glanced at Nagato Saburo casually and said in a deep voice, “You coward, shut your mouth!” “…

Yes.”

Nagato Saburo adjusted his sitting posture, facing Lord Nagato head-on, nodded vigorously… he was the head of the Nagato House, possessing absolute authority — no one in the Nagato House dared to defy Lord Nagato.

As the successor, Nagato Shinji didn’t dare… his younger brother, even less so.

Despite much dissatisfaction in his heart, facing Lord Nagato who wielded the power of the Nagato House, he could only bow his head.

Lord Nagato snorted again, looking at the place where the mechanism was, pondering, “I don’t know the background of this Kojiro yet.

Just by watching his duel with Shinji, I could tell he was definitely a master… perhaps he came here because he was separated from his companions…”

Nagato Saburo quickly said, “Big brother, regardless of how strong or not he is, as long as the person is trapped underneath, after starving for a few days, he naturally won’t have any strength.

By then, it’ll be up to us what to do with him!

Just like those rebellious villagers from before, in the end, didn’t they all obediently give in!”

Lord Nagato nodded slowly, then said, “That Xizhilang seemed to intend to hide him initially, had he not been seen and reported to me… he broke the rules, you go deal with him.”

Nagato Saburo nodded, but his face looked a bit unpleasant.

Lord Nagato suddenly sneered coldly, looking at Nagato Saburo teasingly, “What, is there still a clean place left in your filthy hands… unwilling?” “No… not at all.” Nagato Saburo sighed, stood up, “I’ll handle it now.”

Watching Nagato Saburo finally push open the door to leave, Lord Nagato suddenly said coldly, “You should have died on the battlefield, that is the highest honor for you and for the Nagato House.”

Nagato Saburo’s expression changed slightly, but in the end, he lowered his head and pulled the door shut.

Lord Nagato finally called him one more time: Coward.

Only then did he walk over to the mechanism, his foot stomping hard a few times, making a thumping sound — knowing that there was no way the mechanism could be opened from below, Lord Nagato sneered coldly and left with his hands behind his back. …

Nagato Saburo picked up some things at the entrance, preparing to go out.

But then his clothes seemed to be tugged by something.

He turned around and saw it was a little girl about four or five years old.

A face like a porcelain doll, exquisite and flawless.

The little girl tilted her head up, rubbing her eyes, seemingly very sleepy, “Father, where are you going?”

Feeling a bit irritated, Nagato Saburo slapped away the little girl’s hand that was grabbing his clothes, then glanced behind her to see an elderly maid quickly hurrying up.

The maid looked at Nagato Saburo with a hint of fear. “Lord Saburo… the noise just now woke Miss Tsuruko, and no matter how much I coaxed her, she wouldn’t sleep…” “Quickly take her back!” Nagato Saburo said sternly, “How do you take care of her!

Are you too comfortable usually!” “N-no…” the maid apologized repeatedly, directly picking up the young Miss Tsuruko, and hurriedly turning around towards the end of the corridor.

Nagato Saburo frowned, noticing the subtle drizzle outside, feeling even more restless, and randomly donned a straw hat before heading out. … …

Thump thump—!

Hearing the sound from above, Mo Xiaofei rubbed his chin, then let his body slowly descend… the momentary weightlessness did cause his body to fall, but not long afterward, he had stabilized himself in the air.

He did not immediately break through the mechanism to leave, simply because Mo Xiaofei heard some strange sounds below.

Finally, Mo Xiaofei felt a slight chill on his feet… it was water.

Directly beneath the cave, it seemed someone dug out a pit filled with water.

Mo Xiaofei estimated the distance from top to bottom to be about six or seven meters high, if someone suddenly fell, they might break their hands and feet, but with this water pit, they wouldn’t suffer much injury.

But it was too dark in here to find any light source at all.

Therefore, Mo Xiaofei had to abandon his vision and instead use sound waves to sense.

Long Xiruo had said that telekinesis could be infinitely varied and have countless applications — how to apply it was up to him to develop.

At this moment, Mo Xiaofei used an ability he had developed.

By clapping to make sounds, he captures these sounds using hearing.

Through the propagation and reflection of sound waves to produce different vibrations, forming everything in his mind — essentially similar to a bat’s ability.

After a few claps, a three-dimensional map of the surroundings was formed in Mo Xiaofei’s mind.

He found it wasn’t completely sealed, at least next to the dug-out water pit, there was a place to land… simultaneously, there was flowing air.

It was a door!

On one side existent passage, about three meters or so in length, at the end of the passage, Mo Xiaofei sensed a door.

He walked directly to this door, reached out and touched it, and knocked, discovering it was actually made of stone.

The Stone Gate had many varying depths of marks, like those made by sharp weapons — or perhaps others like him, trapped by the Nagato House, had left them.

It might also have been a samurai intending to cut open this stone door with a katana, but ultimately it was futile.

Mo Xiaofei moved a bit, and with his own strength, he couldn’t shake this heavy stone door.

He shook his head and simply concentrated, feeling his spiritual power being drained as if something was drawing it away, but he didn’t pay much attention.

He only heard a rumbling sound in front of him…

This stone door, under the push of telekinesis, slowly opened little by little.

Finally, when it revealed a gap large enough for a person to pass through, Mo Xiaofei stopped, feeling extremely exhausted. “Just how heavy is this door… why am I so tired?”

Mo Xiaofei wiped the sweat off his forehead, and merely moving this stone door felt even more exhausting than training continuously for ten hours in the underground arena of the pet hospital.

But the area that was revealed after the door was moved surprised Mo Xiaofei—first of all, there was light here, the source being oil lamps hanging on the walls.

In front was a long passageway, and on both sides of the passage, stone chambers were carved out, completely open, and with huge thick wooden bars forming embedded grilles… like a series of prison cells!

Mo Xiaofei frowned, looking at some of the cells, which even contained clothes…

In one of the cells, he even found a skeleton, and in another place, a large number of torture devices were discovered.

Some of the torture devices even turned reddish-brown… those were dried bloodstains…

This was torture!

And it was a torture chamber that had been frequently used before! “What… what on earth is this?”

Even as bold as Mo Xiaofei was, he couldn’t help but feel a chill at the mysteriousness of the place!

This chill rose directly from the soles of his feet to the back of his neck.

Mo Xiaofei suddenly turned around, sensing that something was approaching him! “What the hell!” Mo Xiaofei shouted! “Lord Kojiro!”

A woman’s voice.

Mo Xiaofei was taken aback, and saw that the one appearing here was clearly the girl temporarily cooperating with him, Ichikujikunohime-no-Mikoto. “Great Goddess, why are you…” Mo Xiaofei, recognizing the newcomer, sighed with relief, blaming the eerie atmosphere of the place for his tension, “…why are you here?” “Lord Kojiro has been out for quite some time, and I was a bit worried, so I came to check.” Ichikujikunohime-no-Mikoto said calmly, “I saw Lord Kojiro being tricked by the head of the Nagato House to fall into this trap, so I intended to come and rescue you.”

Mo Xiaofei thought about it, then suspiciously asked, “Then… what about Lord Nagato and the others?”

Ichikujikunohime-no-Mikoto shook her head, “I did not intend to let them see me.

There are rules in Takamagahara that we cannot show ourselves before humans without restraint… Of course, Lord Kojiro, with great strength, naturally doesn’t count.” “Oh.” Mo Xiaofei didn’t think much of it, directly asking, “By the way, Great Goddess.

I asked you to help check on the bamboo, did you find out anything?

What curse is it?”

Ichikujikunohime-no-Mikoto frowned, “It’s very strange…

I checked carefully but couldn’t find any trace of the Evil Demons on those village girls you mentioned.

You know, any Curse Power should emit a malevolent aura, but there was none on the village girls.” “None?” Mo Xiaofei said in surprise, “But judging by the appearance of the bamboo and the attitude of the villagers… it clearly seems like there is such a thing.”

Ichikujikunohime-no-Mikoto nodded, “That is also the point I find strange.

Therefore, besides the village girl you instructed me to check, I secretly examined many other village girls and found nothing.

These village girls have at most a confused aura, but that’s just because they often associate with different men, absorbing some of their breath and thus appearing chaotic.”

At this point, Ichikujikunohime-no-Mikoto’s face showed some faint gloom.

Probably as a pure deity, she was highly repulsed by this kind of ‘chaos’.

But even the goddess couldn’t figure it out… is this curse really that powerful? “It seems like there’s someone here.”

At this time, Mo Xiaofei looked in a certain direction, “When I fell, I vaguely heard something, so I didn’t immediately leave this trap.

This seems to be a place of unlawful punishment, and I’m afraid there are victims deceived by the Nagato House, I have to go check it out.”

Ichikujikunohime-no-Mikoto just nodded.

Mo Xiaofei then quickly walked toward the direction he felt.

Here mostly had the structure of prison cells, winding and twisting, not knowing how it was built originally… and the sound was becoming clearer.

The deeper they went, the more quick the air flowed, blowing against the oil lamps on the stone walls on both sides.

The flickering firelight altered the shadows of one person, one god. “There really is someone!”

At the end in front, there was a prison cell, and a small window was open.

A figure was just sitting on the ground dressed in a gray kimono.

However, the woman turned her back, her hair was loose, and her appearance could not be seen.

Mo Xiaofei saw her shoulders gently trembling, and some strange sounds were coming from her, so he approached the grille, “Are you okay?”

Oh… hehehe!!!

A peculiar laugh!

The woman turned suddenly, plunging towards the front of the grille!

By the light of the oil lamp here, the disheveled woman looked indistinct with grime, making it impossible to determine her age.

Yet her lips and teeth were dripping with fresh blood!

Her hands simultaneously grasped the wooden bars of the grille, and one hand was even holding a mouse… she had just swallowed this mouse alive!

Oh… hehehe!

She continued laughing, tilting her head, her eyes widening as if her eyeballs were about to pop out, looking extremely horrifying…

Oh hehehe!!

Mo Xiaofei instinctively stepped back, just bumping into Ichikujikunohime-no-Mikoto behind him. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to… what’s wrong with you?”

But at that moment, Ichikujikunohime-no-Mikoto’s face turned somewhat pale and she staggered, actually falling to the ground.

She looked up at Mo Xiaofei, weakly saying, “Lord Kojiro… here… there’s something strange…

My Divine Power is vanishing…” “What?”

Upon hearing this, Mo Xiaofei then felt a strong dizziness.

He struggled a few times, finally collapsing to the ground like Ichikujikunohime-no-Mikoto.

The last sight.

Still that madwoman in the cell, eyes wide open looking at him, mouth full of fresh blood…

Oh hehehehehe!

Consciousness began to fade. …

Consciousness began to recover.

Mo Xiaofei opened his eyes and vigorously shook his head, as the surrounding light was so intense that he couldn’t adapt at once.

He got up, and yet found himself inexplicably out of that vast underground jail, now amidst the wilderness outside. “This place… looks so familiar?”

Mo Xiaofei was taken aback, seeing a girl with a basket on her back ahead, walking with her head down, looking worried.

Mo Xiaofei opened his mouth… the girl he saw was clearly a bamboo!

The first person he encountered upon entering the Zaodao Village! “Bamboo!

Are you alright?

Why are you here?” Mo Xiaofei hurriedly rushed forward to ask.

The girl… bamboo at this time raised her head, looked at him in fright, and swiftly took a step back, saying fearfully, “Who… who are you?” “Me, I’m…

Kojiro!

Sasaki Kojiro!” Mo Xiaofei hastily said, “I was at your house last night for dinner, staying overnight… you forgot?” “Last night… last night?” Bamboo furrowed her brows, shaking her head in confusion, “It’s the first time I’ve seen you, how could you have been at my house last night?”

The first time… the first time?
