691: Chapter 104: Basic Magic Routines 691: Chapter 104: Basic Magic Routines In a less bustling seaside town, a samurai who had just finished drinking was on his way home.

He held a bottle of wine in his hand, staggering and humming a little tune tinged with a hint of rosy atmosphere.

Suddenly feeling the urge to urinate, the samurai opened his bleary eyes and quickly found a small alley, intending to enter and relieve himself on the spot.

Deep in the alley, just as the samurai had finished and was feeling utterly refreshed, a soft purple light suddenly appeared, as if there was something there…

The samurai felt curious, and perhaps because he was drunk, he wasn’t afraid as he took step by step towards it.

He discovered the source of the purple light seemed to be from a strange purple mist.

At this moment, the samurai’s reaction was very slow, staring wide-eyed and blankly at the front…

Finally, in an instant, a trace of terror emerged in the samurai’s eyes.

He took a step back but immediately fell to the ground…

His sense of balance was really too poor!

“Ah…

Ah!!

Monster!

Monst…”

He turned around, wanting to crawl and run out of this place in terror, deeply regretting relieving himself here!

He continued to run frantically, but was ultimately unable to escape this place, as the purple mist completely consumed him—leaving only a heartrending scream before everything returned to calm.

Not long after, the samurai walked out of the alley again.

His steps were no longer staggered but rather steady because he had now become…

Yamata no Orochi.

To be precise, just a temporary container for Yamata no Orochi.

Of course, it didn’t need to seize a samurai’s body, but at this moment it had no choice.

It needed this samurai’s body to hide its own aura—because it didn’t know whether the person holding Zhan Lu would pursue it relentlessly or not.

Zhan Lu, the Royal Path Sword, created with righteous Qi of heaven and earth, holds great restraining power against all evil demons.

“So the Zhan Lu Sword has reappeared?” The samurai possessed by Yamata no Orochi walked while talking to himself, “A strange Taoist once used this Zhan Lu Sword to vanquish demons.

Though I was young then, I could never forget the atmosphere from Zhan Lu Sword…

So, there’s no mistaking it!”

Yamata no Orochi’s heart was filled with suspicion and uncertainty.

After the strange Taoist used the sword against demons, he suddenly disappeared, allowing it and most of its clan to survive.

Later as it grew older, it split with its clan due to ideological differences and was eventually exiled…

As for the Yan Wuyue World, it was a unique space it found by chance, seemingly a complete world but constantly exuding an eerie feel…

Everything felt paradoxical.

In this world, except for the two beings in Yatsumi Palace, there was no one that could oppose it.

So it settled here temporarily, sleeping when there was nothing to do, wreaking havoc when bored, living freely though not in China, yet content.

It hadn’t expected that due to its own greediness, it was eventually sealed until now and just released…

Yet it never thought, upon its release, it would encounter the Zhan Lu Sword again—the same sword that caused it and its clan, even the entire demon world, to tremble in fear.

The moment it recognized Zhan Lu Sword, Yamata no Orochi almost thought the strange Taoist from back then had reappeared!

“Could it possibly be…

the descendant of that Taoist?” Yamata no Orochi furrowed its brows, feeling this possibility grow stronger in its mind, yet unable to grasp the key elements—truly lacking information from the outside world.

“I don’t even know how many years have passed in China, whether Xiang Liu’s family has already…” Yamata no Orochi’s eyes revealed hatred, “I will never recognize…

this ideology!

Since then, I am no longer a member of Xiang Liu’s family, I am me!”

Yamata no Orochi finally quickened its pace out of this small town, and at the moment of leaving, it felt something, raising its head instinctively to look at the end of the night sky.

Its expression slightly changed as it murmured to itself, “Who on earth…

is altering the rules of this fake world?”

The human body it possessed now, its pupils suddenly turned golden yellow, a peculiar smile hung at the corner of its mouth, “Could it be…

this world is destined to be mine, linked to me by fate?

Well, if I couldn’t defeat Izanagi and Izanami back then, why not give it a try now!”

Yamata no Orochi ultimately disappeared into the wilderness.

…

…

For Mo Xiaofei, the Samurai Lord Nagato’s residence had a touch of those historical landmark architectures from the eleventh district often seen on television.

Wooden floors, corridors, gardens, and small ponds, winding and intricate, with servants kneeling on the path welcoming him.

It was already past midnight, but Mo Xiaofei, with strong spirits, didn’t feel all that tired.

On the other hand, the eyes of Lord Nagato in front of him were already bloodshot.

Aside from Lord Nagato, there was also his brother Saburo, and his young son Nagato Shinji.

Clang—!

The bamboo tube outside by the pond received a stream of water, making a crisp sound upon collision.

Meanwhile, inside the house, Lord Nagato spoke slowly, “Lord Kojiro, have you considered whether you plan to stay temporarily in Zaodao Village?

If you choose to stay, after everything is settled, there will be great rewards from the Nagato House!”

Within Lord Nagato’s household, Mo Xiaofei knew more about what’s happening than from what he learned from the bamboo pole.

Firstly, the village’s curse hadn’t been there all along but appeared these last six years.

Initially, the Nagato House didn’t sit idly by and tried every method possible, yet even Mrs.

Witch from the local shrine is dead, which seemed to make the Nagato House truly submit to this curse.

Regardless of whether the Nagato House truly fought against it, many things didn’t make sense…

Simply put, to meet the current demands of the Nagato House—blessing all the cursed women in the village!

Just thinking about it sent a shiver down Mo Xiaofei’s spine.

Although the curse starts from the age of fourteen, which is a beautiful age…

but the curse has no upper limit!!!

Many are like grandmothers!!!

It’s utterly depraved to the extreme!

“Lord Nagato.” Mo Xiaofei quickly reviewed the information about the curse he had heard, then seriously said, “All this time, you haven’t told me, what is the source of this curse…

A curse doesn’t appear out of thin air, there must be a reason.”

“The matter pertains to the secrets of my Zaodao Village, and cannot be disclosed.” Lord Nagato slowly opened his mouth, but his words carried a refusal, “Lord Kojiro only needs to answer whether you are willing or not.”

This wasn’t the tone of a request but sounded more like a command.

Mo Xiaofei believed in equality for all and was very resistant to this class-oriented viewpoint, shaking his head directly, “I will not agree.”

“You don’t know what’s good for you!” Nagato Shinji, seated beside, suddenly snorted coldly, then looked at Lord Nagato, “Father, I have said that these people from outside the village simply don’t know how to be flexible.

No need to waste words with them, just tie him up!

He jumped up instantly, brandishing his Sidearm Sword with an arrogant demeanor, “Since you’re a samurai too, do you dare accept my challenge!

If you lose, you’ll stay!”

Mo Xiaofei opened his mouth, finally sighed, and commented, “Does that mean if I win, I’ll have to fight all of you next…

Because you assume I wouldn’t be able to win or something?”

“Smart!

But… can you really defeat me?” Nagato Shinji snorted coldly.

“Cliché!

It’s all cliché!” Mo Xiaofei was full of black lines.
