686: Chapter 99: These Two Goddesses Are a Bit Weak 686: Chapter 99: These Two Goddesses Are a Bit Weak In this movie world, Mo Xiaofei is the kind of person who holds the script in his hands.

Unfortunately, his script is only half complete—going out on Christmas Eve should be sweet and romantic, but Mo Xiaofei never expected that the seemingly quiet class president suggested watching the movie “Pen Immortal,” saying she’d been looking forward to it for a long time, but none of the girls in the class wanted to accompany her.

This kind of situation really doesn’t match…

However, Mo Xiaofei eventually agreed, and when buying tickets, he roughly looked at the synopsis and played around with the film reviews—which is something almost everyone does before watching a movie.

The synopsis only briefly mentioned the storyline and didn’t reveal how it ends…

As for the reviews, Mo Xiaofei didn’t have time to get to the ending of the story—after all, it’s his first time watching, and knowing the ending beforehand would spoil the fun of watching the movie.

Thinking this way, after a quick wash, Mo Xiaofei lay down in a room arranged by the Xizhilang family.

One should not expect much comfort from such a simple dwelling. “The class president probably knows more…

After all, she said she’s been looking forward to it for a long time.”

At this moment, there was a gentle knock on the door.

Mo Xiaofei curiously asked, “Who is it?” “Lord Kojiro, it’s me…

Bamboo.”

Came the voice of Bamboo—as for ‘Lord Kojiro’, it was the name of the original owner of the body Mo Xiaofei was now occupying, discovered from the household registration certificate among the personal belongings—it was a name that made Mo Xiaofei sarcastically think of ‘Sasaki Kojiro.’

Was there also a Miyamoto Musashi?

But as for this ‘Sasaki Kojiro’, he knew nothing at all.

As for the katana he carried, it wasn’t the massive blade he remembered, so Mo Xiaofei wasn’t sure if this Kojiro was the powerful swordsman he knew. “Oh… come in, do you have something to discuss?” Mo Xiaofei adjusted his clothes and sat up from the bedding.

Bamboo slowly pushed open the wooden door, but she remained kneeling in the hallway, with a tray carrying tea cups beside her.

Bringing tea?

Mo Xiaofei was stunned, then shook his head.

It seemed that even a ‘wandering samurai’ is revered and feared by these commoners.

Through the original storyline synopsis, Mo Xiaofei knew there was also a samurai in Zaodao Village—a samurai who possessed his own fief, ruling over Zaodao Village and the surrounding fields… simply put, a landlord.

Mo Xiaofei pondered for a moment and said to Bamboo, “Come in, I just have some questions to ask you.”

This Bamboo, if remembered correctly, seemed to have appeared in one of the movie reviews.

As for whether Bamboo was on the promotional poster, Mo Xiaofei hadn’t noticed—but since she was mentioned in the reviews, she was at least a plot character.

Just having entered Zaodao Village, he already encountered a related character to the story, making Mo Xiaofei feel like he had a good start. “Excuse my intrusion.”

Bamboo still looked cautious, carrying the tray while kneeling into the room, she placed the tea cup in front of Mo Xiaofei, and then bowed her head. “Relax a bit.” Mo Xiaofei tried to appear polite…

Originally just a student, he wasn’t used to the feeling of this so-called privilege. “Bamboo wouldn’t dare be disrespectful.” “Forget it…” Mo Xiaofei shook his head, “I want to ask you, is the samurai family in Zaodao Village called Nagato?”

Bamboo was slightly surprised, “Lord Kojiro, are you a friend of Lord Nagato?”

Mo Xiaofei instead asked another question, “Tell me, has Lord Nagato’s brother returned yet?” “So Lord Kojiro also knows Lord Saburo.

Lord Nagato Saburo returned last month, heard he was injured in a battle at the front and came back home to recuperate.

To achieve meritorious service for the country, even if injured, is an honor.”

Mo Xiaofei found it amusing…

This Nagato Saburo wasn’t injured at the front line; he seemed to have deserted before the battle, fled, got injured in an encounter with bandits, and returned battered and bruised.

But he claimed to have won honors at the front, now recovering due to injuries, with rewards to follow after the war.

Such a story spread throughout Zaodao Village, making the clueless villagers believe it and praise him daily…

Not sure if this Nagato Saburo would feel ashamed.

But since Nagato Saburo had returned… does that mean the storyline has officially begun?

After hearing the location of Nagato House from Bamboo, Mo Xiaofei said, “I’m tired today, let’s stop here.”

He intended for Bamboo to leave herself, then sneak away under the cover of night to visit Nagato House, then meet the shrine’s witch up the mountain in the morning.

Unexpectedly, Bamboo’s shoulder trembled slightly, biting her lip as if making a resolute decision, she slowly turned around but didn’t leave.

The girl suddenly undid her belt, and her clothes slipped off her shoulders.

Despite her rough clothes and ordinary facial skin, under her clothes, her skin was as white as snow, around fourteen or fifteen years old, inciting the passions of a young man…

Mo Xiaofei found himself reacting normally to this sudden scene, his breathing instinctively heavier.

However, his spiritual power was far beyond ordinary, with a sincere heart praised by even his boss and the true dragon of China, restoring his calm quickly.

Mo Xiaofei turned his head, guessing some reasons behind Bamboo’s behavior, recalling some strange expressions from Xizhilang during dinner, thinking this honest guy might have misunderstood his request to stay the night. “Leave, I don’t need this.” Mo Xiaofei shook his head, “If a girl doesn’t cherish herself, no one will cherish her either.

Tell your father I don’t have that intention, I just want to rest for the night, so he shouldn’t overthink.”

As Mo Xiaofei gained more knowledge, though no longer extreme like before, where he privately punished evildoers, he helped in many heroic deeds in secret.

If not for an unknown ‘Firefighter Man’ roaming the city’s shadows, preventing many crimes, Officer Ma, the designated sharpshooter, wouldn’t be so idle, praising the peaceful world, playing Minesweeper all day in his office.

It seems Xizhilang didn’t just misunderstand…

He probably thought of Mo Xiaofei as a wandering samurai with aspirations.

If he settled down with Bamboo and with his abilities, he might gain a fief, become a valued retainer for an aristocratic family better than Nagato House…

This could lead to a happy life for his family. “Ah…”

Upon hearing this, the bamboo pole suddenly turned its head, the girl’s face had long been flushed from this action, but now it became terrified due to Mo Xiaofei’s determination, and she hurriedly became very flustered, “Kojiro-sama, do you think the bamboo pole… the bamboo pole is not qualified to serve you?” “No, I have someone I like.” Mo Xiaofei shook his head, his stance very firm, “Let’s pretend tonight never happened.”

Unexpectedly, the bamboo pole seemed unable to hear such rejection, her face turned pale, and she suddenly did something that Mo Xiaofei couldn’t react to… ignoring how disheveled her clothes were after being undone, she actually threw herself directly into Mo Xiaofei’s arms. “Hey, hey!” Mo Xiaofei was suddenly shocked.

He thought of using telekinesis to push her away, but then realized that the bamboo pole’s delicate body couldn’t withstand such an impact, so he hurriedly stood up, broke free from the bamboo pole’s hands, turned around, and said sternly, “If you don’t leave, I’ll leave tonight!” “Kojiro-sama…” The bamboo pole, however, with a sobbing tone, pressed her body against Mo Xiaofei’s back, embracing him, and mournfully said, “Can you please favor the bamboo pole for one night…

The bamboo pole, the bamboo pole doesn’t want… doesn’t want to die.”

Mo Xiaofei was stunned… what was going on now?

But at this time, Mo Xiaofei frowned, unable to worry about asking about the bamboo pole’s situation, he just whispered, “Sorry, please sleep for a while… mental collision!”

With a thought, the bamboo pole’s entire body suddenly went limp – this mental collision was one of the abilities he developed through his training with Long Xiruo.

He picked up the cup, closed his eyes, quickly covered the bamboo pole’s body, and without caring for anything here, picked up the katana, and quickly left…

In these ancient villages, besides the starlight and moonlight, there was no public lighting equipment at all.

But even without a lantern in hand, by wrapping his eyes with telekinesis, Mo Xiaofei could still see everything with crystal clarity… … …

Under the vast night, there were two figures floating on the hillside, both were young and beautiful, women in scarlet clothes. “This place is very strange, even with a vaguely ominous feeling, it is probably the place mentioned by the Divine Lord Amaterasu-ōmikami.” At this moment, one of the women frowned, seemingly still observing the surrounding environment, “Ichikujikunohime-no-Mikoto, what do you think?”

The other one referred to as Ichikujikunohime-no-Mikoto had a solemn expression as she nodded, “Okitsu-Shima-Hime-No-Mikoto, I agree with your view.”

These two, along with another named Jikishi-Kunishima-Hime, are collectively known as the Munakata Three Goddesses, who were born from the mist blown from the Ten Fists Sword of Susanoo-no-Mikoto, broken and placed in the mouth of Amaterasu-ōmikami, theoretically regarded as the Divine Children of Amaterasu-ōmikami.

At this moment, Ichikujikunohime-no-Mikoto had a worried face and said, “The Divine Lord has personally gone to the Land of Night to seek Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto-sama, and instructed us to temporarily cease operations in the Land of Night…

Now that you and I have been sent to investigate this remote small place, I am not sure why.”

Okitsu-Shima-Hime-No-Mikoto said, “Perhaps the Divine Lord has reached some agreement with Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto-sama…

The Three Nobles have always competed without a clear upper hand.

If this time they unite with Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto-sama, Susanoo-no-Mikoto-sama will undoubtedly be defeated!”

Ichikujikunohime-no-Mikoto nodded, clearly agreeing with the assessment of Okitsu-Shima-Hime-No-Mikoto, her fellow Munakata Goddess, “But we don’t know what kind of secret Zaodao Village holds…

Despite our Divine Powers, we can’t see through it.

This village seems shrouded in a mist, with a faint sense of malice lurking, and we don’t know… who has the audacity to peep!”

Ichikujikunohime-no-Mikoto snorted coldly, a sudden glow emerging from her hand in the darkness, and she swung it towards a certain place down the hillside, a sudden gale burst forth, fiercely rolling up and cracking the ground.

At this moment, a figure flew up from below and landed in front of these two goddesses, with a strange look examining them. “Samurai?” Okitsu-Shima-Hime-No-Mikoto’s eyebrows furrowed slightly as she looked him up and down, seeing a rather young and handsome man…

But this samurai managed to avoid Ichikujikunohime-no-Mikoto’s subsequent strike, which shows some skill.

In this Yan Wuyue World, a powerful samurai could rid the land of malevolent monsters, huge powerful monsters…

So having some skills wouldn’t particularly impress those like the Munakata Three Goddesses. “I mean no harm, I just want to ask a few questions, may I ask who you two are?”

The man was precisely Mo Xiaofei… his vast spiritual power suddenly sensed two unusual presences appearing in Zhao Village — as someone here looking for clues, he naturally wanted to see what was happening. “I am Ichikujikunohime-no-Mikoto.” “Okitsu-Shima-Hime-No-Mikoto.”

The two goddesses said flatly, one after the other…

In their view, merely revealing their divine names was enough to make any samurai from the lower realm bow.

Incidentally, they also had some questions they wanted to ask this wild samurai who suddenly appeared in the village. “What?

Say that again?” Mo Xiaofei scratched his head…

His history was reasonably good, but that was his country’s history, he really couldn’t make sense of things concerning this Yan Wuyue World similar to Area 11. “We are the Munakata Three Goddesses!” Okitsu-Shima-Hime-No-Mikoto said with a heavy hum. “Goddess?” Mo Xiaofei was stunned, then nodded, thinking that if they were goddesses, they should know a lot…

If so, maybe there’s no need to find the witch at the Mountain Shrine.

Mo Xiaofei was overjoyed and without thinking, he stepped forward, “Great Goddesses, perfect timing!

I have some questions, I am not originally from here…”

But as he took a few steps closer, before he even reached the two goddesses, Okitsu-Shima-Hime-No-Mikoto was enraged, “How dare you!

A mere mortal dares to approach and desecrate the Divine Power!”

Okitsu-Shima-Hime-No-Mikoto’s gaze focused, and a divine power pressed down, while simultaneously pressing against the void, an immense invisible force pushed towards Mo Xiaofei.

Unable to withstand such an attack, Mo Xiaofei instinctively raised his hand in a wave, forcefully dispelling the pressing force, feeling as if something pierced into his brain, causing him to frown and shout aloud.

A massive burst of spiritual power erupted, clashing directly with the descending divine power.

The spiritual power, like a sharp sword, instantly shattered the divine power into fragments.

Okitsu-Shima-Hime-No-Mikoto’s expression drastically changed, a trace of crimson blood appeared at the corner of her mouth, full of incredulity…

A mortal samurai, so powerful, directly cutting through divine power? “Who… who are you really!” Okitsu-Shima-Hime-No-Mikoto hurriedly exclaimed in shock.

These… these two are really goddesses?

Kind of… weak, aren’t they?
