Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 277 The Great Defense Has Been BrokenDragon Country.

National Energy Agency.

At this moment, the department was a scene of busy activity, and Director Wang Changling was especially overwhelmed.

High-level officials from numerous countries across Blue Star were contacting them one after another, all with a single goal: they hoped to use Dragon Country’s cheap and high-quality energy as soon as possible.

These countries were diverse, covering every continent, and included even some obscure small nations that Wang Changling had never heard of before!

They were all eagerly hoping to connect to the Nuclear Fusion Power Grid, hoping to use it to escape the distress of the energy crisis.

Wang Changling instructed his subordinates to mark these countries expressing interest in cooperation on a map. Upon finishing, he couldn’t help but brighten up, discovering that these countries already covered more than half of the Blue Star’s map.

In that instant, he seemed to sweep away the fatigue he had accumulated over a long time, and his whole being suddenly became incomparably excited.

He knew very clearly in his heart that once Dragon Country could successfully cover these countries with the power grid, it would bring a continuous stream of revenue to Dragon Country.

As the Director of the National Energy Agency, he knew the ins and outs of this very well.

Don’t look at the electricity price being set very low—only one cent per kilowatt-hour—but in reality, the amount of electricity produced by the Nuclear Fusion Power Grid was quite terrifying.

Relying on such a massive power supply, not only would revenue not decrease due to the lower electricity prices, but it would actually increase further as the number of user countries and the scale of usage expanded.

In other words, the more countries that used this type of energy in the future, the more abundant the revenue Dragon Country would obtain in the energy field.

Following this development trend, Dragon Country was already close to creating an energy empire and monopolizing the energy of the entire Blue Star!

And all of this was thanks to that energy crisis meticulously planned by Eagle Sauce!

It was they who delusionally tried to suppress Dragon Country through energy means, but they didn’t expect to help Dragon Country a great deal instead!

Otherwise, how could there be such a good situation now?

At this moment, Wang Changling, who was from the Northeast, felt incredibly refreshed, and even wanted to shake the hand of the high-level officials of Eagle Sauce and say to them:

”Thank you, old friends, for sending us these customers!”

”You guys are the best!”

Thinking about it, he couldn’t help but laugh out loud!

This Director of the National Energy Agency, who had long suffered from the energy crisis and had been worried sick about energy supply and development issues, could finally breathe a sigh of relief and get a good night’s sleep.

Just then, his subordinate suddenly leaned over and said with a look of worry on his face:

”Director, when connecting energy project cooperation with those countries, I feel that many of them don’t really want to use our energy, or rather, some of them are quite conflicted inside!”

”They are afraid of us monopolizing their domestic energy!”

”I’m worried that they just want to use our energy to get their current projects started and help them survive this energy crisis, but once the crisis is over, they might very well go back on their word!”

Regarding this concern from his subordinate, Wang Changling had actually thought about it, but he was not worried at all!

He shook the prepared contract in his hand, a confident and calm smile appearing on his face, and said:

”What are you afraid of? We have a project cooperation period of at least ten years!”

”In ten years, not to mention how much we can earn, just this long period is enough to make the citizens of those countries, who are our customers, get used to our cheap and high-quality energy through subtle influence.”

”By then, if any country wants to end cooperation with us and restore the original electricity prices, hmph, we won’t even need to worry; those citizens will naturally speak up for us.”

Speaking of this, the smile on Wang Changling’s face grew even thicker!

It was as if he could already see the scene where the people of those countries, in order to continue using cheap electricity, demanded that their government authorities continue to cooperate with Dragon Country.

He continued:

”In the current situation, it is wrong for those countries to cooperate with us, and it is also wrong not to cooperate with us.”

”Unless they have an effective way to counter the energy crisis and can also appease the citizens who want to use our energy, they can only obediently come to us for cooperation.”

”And wanting to counter the energy crisis is not such a simple matter. Take Eagle Sauce, for example; even though they made quite a lot of preparations in advance, hasn’t their industry still suffered a not-so-small weakening now!”

”If they are like this, it goes without saying for other countries.”

”The layout our country has made this time is truly an unsolvable open conspiracy!”

”This game of chess is being played very deeply!”

As Wang Changling spoke, he squinted his eyes slightly, as if savoring this exquisite layout!

But as he spoke, his eyes suddenly lost focus, and his thoughts drifted away.

He suddenly thought that the one who facilitated this great chess game was actually a team led by a young man!

This made him feel deeply emotional, and he couldn’t help but feel that he was indeed old and it was time to retire and let a newcomer replace him.

Moreover, in his heart, that young man was undoubtedly the most suitable successor!

After all, relying on his excellent ability, he helped Dragon Country, helped the National Energy Agency, and fought such a beautiful turnaround battle.

However, he also understood that the other party certainly wouldn’t care for his position!

After all, with the talent displayed and the heavy responsibilities shouldered by the other party, there was a much broader world for him to show his skills!

His small position as Director of the National Energy Agency was truly unworthy of him.

”I heard that Comrade Su Chen is now preparing for interstellar colonization and farming on alien planets!”

”My small patch of land cannot trap a soaring eagle!”

Wang Changling sighed to himself, his face full of admiration and praise for Su Chen.

Just then, a staff member walked in, interrupting his thoughts!

The staff member reported: ”Director, we have received cooperation applications from Japan and South Korea!”

Wang Changling didn’t even think about it and said directly:

”Reject them all!”

The tone was resolute and decisive, without the slightest hesitation.

”Understood, Director!”

The staff member responded and turned to convey the instructions.

...

On Japan’s side.

After receiving the news that Dragon Country had rejected them, the high-level officials were all dumbfounded. They looked at each other in dismay, their faces first showing disbelief, and then turning to anger.

”They are targeting us on purpose, right!”

”Fine, fine, fine!”

”They have kicked... cotton this time!”

The Prime Minister of Japan slapped the table, stood up, and said:

”I will talk to Dragon Country personally!”

The Prime Minister of Japan put on airs!

It was as if he could change this result just by stepping in!

He then immediately arranged for someone to contact the National Energy Agency of Dragon Country!

However, his attitude was quite respectful!

The arrogance of the past was completely gone. Even though Dragon Country had previously performed a grand ’fireworks show’ within their borders, causing them quite a bit of deterrence!

Now it seemed like they had forgotten about that matter!

In order to obtain energy cooperation, his posture was very low.

After the call was connected.

First, there were some greetings, and then the Prime Minister went straight to the point!

”We really hope to develop energy cooperation with your country!”

”But we were rejected by your country. We are very confused about this. Is there any technical problem?”

The tone was full of grievance and confusion!

He was trying to probe from this angle to see if there was any room for turnaround.

Wang Changling listened on the other end of the phone and said in a calm tone:

”Technical problems are not big problems for us!”

”It’s just that we don’t have a good impression of you, and we just don’t want to cooperate with you!”

His words were not polite at all, directly stating his attitude.

He just simply didn’t want to cooperate with them!

Hearing this, the Prime Minister was stunned. He never expected the other party to be so direct and not give face, thinking in his heart:

”Are they actually being this impolite?”

”Or is it that the higher-ups instructed him to say this?”

However, even though he was furious, the Prime Minister suppressed his anger, tried to make his tone sound calmer, and said:

”Your country seems to have a lot of opinions about us...”

Wang Changling gave a cold snort and responded without concealment:

”It’s not ’seems,’ it’s a fact.”

”You haven’t been peaceful for the past two years, helping Eagle Sauce target us, and worshipping that damn Yasukuni Shrine. How do you expect us to have a good impression of you...”

As these words were spoken, every word was like a sharp blade, piercing straight at the Prime Minister of Japan!

The anger had already rushed to his forehead; his hands were unconsciously clenched into fists, and his face turned red, but even so, he still endured it without getting angry!

After all, energy cooperation was too important to them. If he messed it up due to a momentary impulse, he wouldn’t be able to explain it when he went back.

Wang Changling was very surprised to see that the other party could actually endure it, and thought to himself:

”I didn’t expect this guy to be a turtle, or a Ninja Turtle! He can really endure!”

”But!”

Wang Changling’s voice sounded again. He said slowly and unhurriedly, as if he deliberately wanted to tease the other party.

The Prime Minister widened his eyes suddenly. The anger that had originally rushed to his throat disappeared by more than half. He seemed to see a glimmer of hope and hurriedly said:

”Please speak.”

Wang Changling picked up his teacup, took a sip of tea, and cleared his throat!

He thought of the plan determined after discussing with the higher-ups, and then said:

”The fireworks show we prepared for our compatriots at home ended up benefiting you, but you only thanked us twice and had no sincerity at all!”

”How about this!”

”Pay for the fireworks, three hundred billion... US dollars!”

”By the way, tear down that annoying Yasukuni Shrine, and we will agree to cooperate with...”

Before Wang Changling finished speaking, he heard a ’beep-beep-beep’ busy signal from the other end of the phone!

The Prime Minister of Japan had hung up the phone directly!

Wang Changling grinned, sipped the tea in his cup again with a smile!

The tea, which had no taste, felt exceptionally sweet to him.

Meanwhile.

In an office in the Japan government building, a roar of anger sounded:

”Too deceptive!”

”Too deceptive!!!”
