Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 252 They were not equipped with offensive weapons!Upon hearing that an unidentified reconnaissance aircraft had intruded into the airspace of the Dragon Kingdom, the staff in the Command Center were initially stunned. After a brief moment of shock, the expressions on their faces gradually relaxed, and they even couldn’t help but laugh.

In their view, this so-called approaching enemy aircraft was nothing more than a mayfly trying to topple a tree—an act of overestimating one’s capabilities—and there was no need to worry at all. At this moment, Commander Liu Chengzhi and Elder Zhao walked in steadily from outside the cockpit.

They had boarded the Aerospace Carrier together, and upon sensing the unusual atmosphere in the command room, they had hurried over to understand the situation.

Commander Liu Chengzhi walked straight up to Su Chen, his eyes filled with concern and confusion as he asked, ”What happened?”

Su Chen explained the situation concisely. After hearing this, Commander Liu Chengzhi and Elder Zhao both breathed a sigh of relief. Commander Liu Chengzhi smiled and said, ”So it’s just an enemy fighter jet; we thought something major had happened!”

There was not a hint of concern on either of their faces regarding the enemy reconnaissance aircraft’s surveillance!

In fact, deep down, they were certain that this reconnaissance aircraft was highly likely from Eagle Sauce. In their eyes, this was merely a petty trick by Eagle Sauce to try and spy on the Dragon Kingdom’s secrets, and it was nothing to be feared.

One must know that the Aerospace Carrier was equipped with hundreds of large-caliber Electromagnetic Naval Guns, and their power could be described as world-destroying!

Never mind ordinary aircraft; even a terrifyingly massive monster like the legendary Godzilla would be instantly blasted into dust under the bombardment of these Electromagnetic Naval Guns, meeting an end where ”Godzilla dies.”

However, before entering combat mode, these Electromagnetic Naval Guns were cleverly kept in a hidden state, making it impossible to see their locations from the outside.

In addition to the naval guns, there was a powerful legion composed of fifty Space Mecha, silently guarding within the carrier’s mecha hangar.

These Space Mecha were like steel guardians, each containing cutting-edge technology and immense combat power. Should any enemy aircraft dare to approach the carrier, they would inevitably suffer successive attacks from the Space Mecha.

Everyone present had a clear and profound understanding of the Aerospace Carrier’s immense strength! Therefore, facing the surveillance of the Eagle Sauce reconnaissance aircraft, they didn’t take it to heart at all, their hearts full of composure and calm.

Commander Liu Chengzhi said indifferently at this moment, ”It’s just a mere reconnaissance aircraft; just send one Individual Combat Mecha over to wipe it out!”

In his view, this was merely a trivial task, as simple as swatting a fly.

At this time, a staff member hurriedly responded, ”The Aerospace Carrier is not equipped with any Individual Combat Mecha, though there are a few photographers wearing Mecha Suits currently conducting filming work.”

Commander Liu Chengzhi was slightly taken aback, then his eyes rolled, and he suggested, ”How about we let them go and hold the line for now?”

”Issue an order to the mecha AI. It’s just one reconnaissance aircraft; regardless of the purpose for intruding into our airspace, just destroy it!”

”It’ll be wiped out in a few minutes, and it won’t delay the filming.”

The staff member looked troubled and explained, ”This is a live broadcast; doing that might affect the quality of the broadcast.”

Seeing this, Elder Zhao slightly raised his hand and spoke steadily, ”No need to go to such trouble. What about the Space Mecha? Have them send one over.”

Upon hearing this, everyone couldn’t help but widen their eyes in shock. In their view, using a Space Mecha to deal with a small reconnaissance aircraft was completely like using an anti-aircraft gun to swat a mosquito—a total overkill.

Elder Zhao seemed to see through everyone’s thoughts and smiled again, saying, ”It’s just right; it’s time to let those guys see the might of our Space Mecha.”

Upon hearing this, everyone was stunned at first, and then couldn’t help but burst into laughter. They seemed to have already envisioned the shocked, almost desperate expressions of countries around the world upon seeing the Space Mecha debut, and they couldn’t help but secretly joke, ”I’m afraid that after the Space Mecha makes its appearance, countries around the world will be completely broken!”

It’s fine if you have Individual Combat Mecha! It’s fine if you have Electromagnetic Naval Guns! It’s fine... it’s fine if you have an Aerospace Carrier! But what the hell is this mecha that’s as big as a small hill? Dragon Kingdom, you might as well just dominate the Blue Planet directly; don’t let us harbor any more lucky chances!

Thinking of this, a surge of uncontrollable excitement and thrill welled up in everyone’s hearts, as if they were about to witness a spectacular drama that would shock the world. Thus, everyone agreed with Elder Zhao’s proposal and decided to dispatch a Space Mecha.

Following the order, the Aerospace Carrier’s hangar door slowly opened. The heavy metal door emitted a dull ”clank, clank” sound, as if a giant beast were slowly opening its maw. Immediately after, a Space Mecha, dozens of meters tall, walked out slowly from inside like a moving steel fortress. Its tall and majestic body shimmered with a cold metallic luster under the moonlight. It was soul-stirring!

...

”This is the Dragon Hunter reconnaissance aircraft!” Inside the cockpit, the pilot was fully focused on maneuvering the drone, inching closer to the Dragon Kingdom’s Aerospace Carrier. Fine beads of sweat seeped from his forehead, and his eyes held both nervousness and a hint of excitement. Especially when he saw the shocking appearance of the Aerospace Carrier, it felt as if he had traveled into a sci-fi world!

”Reporting to the tower, I have piloted the reconnaissance aircraft and approached the Dragon Kingdom’s Aerospace Carrier.”

”The relevant video material has been successfully filmed and transmitted to the terminal.” He reported the progress to the rear through communication equipment, his voice carrying an imperceptible tremor.

Inside the ground Command Center, a group of experts and high-ranking Eagle Sauce officers were all sitting around the big screen, anxiously waiting for news. When they heard the report from the reconnaissance aircraft, their tense nerves relaxed slightly.

”Currently, no mounted weapons have been discovered on the Aerospace Carrier.” The reconnaissance aircraft pilot confirmed again. He used the advanced aerial photography system inside the reconnaissance aircraft to conduct beyond-visual-range filming of the Dragon Kingdom’s Aerospace Carrier, striving not to miss a single corner of the Aerospace Carrier.

Looking at the photos taken, the ground personnel breathed a sigh of relief, and satisfied smiles appeared on their faces. They did not see any mounted weapons, which meant that this Aerospace Carrier very likely had no offensive weapons equipped! This was undoubtedly extremely favorable news for the Operation Dragon Hunt they were about to implement.

However, very soon, when the latest video footage was transmitted over, the smiles that had just appeared on their faces instantly froze, as if they had been cast with a paralysis spell, standing there dumbfounded.
