Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 262 Excuse!Above the border of the Dragon Kingdom, the cold and emotionless voice of the mecha AI suddenly rang out: ”Enemy command post detected!”

The voice echoed through the night sky, carrying an unquestionable air of authority.

Immediately after, fifteen Individual Combat Mecha, like predatory falcons, rapidly closed in on the White Elephant command post.

The speed was astonishing, with the wind they stirred up whistling past their ears!

The people on the White Elephant side hadn’t even had time to make any effective reaction before these mecha had already arrived above their heads like ghosts.

The Particle Laser Cannon on the back of each mecha, those pitch-black muzzles, instantly aimed in unison at Vikram and the group of White Elephant high-ranking officials.

Those gaping muzzles seemed to exude an aura of death, making them feel as if they had instantly fallen into an ice cellar, their bodies stiffening, unable to move.

They knew very well in their hearts that if they made even the slightest move, those muzzles could fire shells in the blink of an eye capable of killing them instantly!

This feeling was like having the Grim Reaper’s scythe pressed against their throats; they could only stand obediently in place, not daring to make any rash movements.

”Don’t shoot! It’s a misunderstanding, it’s all a misunderstanding!”

Vikram screamed at the top of his lungs, his voice turning somewhat hoarse from fear.

At this moment, he only hoped that the Dragon Kingdom side would show mercy, but he had no confidence in his heart, especially since they had just been provocatively flaunting their power on the border line.

Just then, a cold, mechanical voice rang out from the lead mecha.

The voice seemed to come from another cold world, devoid of any warmth: ”Order your men to drop their weapons and surrender to us!”

Hearing this, the White Elephant people were all stunned. They widened their eyes, faces filled with disbelief, secretly thinking to themselves:

”Did I hear that right? They want to take us prisoner?”

”One battalion taking a whole regiment prisoner????”

In the past, this would have been nothing short of a fantasy, yet now it was happening right before their eyes, making it somewhat hard for them to accept for a moment.

Vikram was a regiment commander after all, with relatively more experience. He immediately said to his panicked subordinates: ”What do you know? The biggest threat to us isn’t that one battalion, but these thirty Individual Combat Mecha!”

”Back then, Daishin was destroyed by just a few dozen of these mecha!”

”Now, with thirty of these mecha, wiping out our regiment would be an absolute breeze!”

”Then what do we do? Do we really have to surrender?” one battalion commander asked anxiously.

His eyes were full of panic and struggle; he neither wanted to surrender easily nor could he overcome his fear of the immense power of the Dragon Kingdom’s mecha.

Vikram thought of General Karan’s instructions, weighed the pros and cons in his mind, and then said seriously to his subordinates:

”Trust me, even if we surrender, the higher-ups won’t blame us!”

”On the contrary, if we anger the Dragon Kingdom, we might just as well anger our own high command!”

”So...”

As he spoke, Vikram gritted his teeth and, right in front of them, was the first to drop the sidearm at his waist, thereby indicating his stance.

Seeing this, the others were stunned for two seconds before they also helplessly dropped their weapons. At this moment, they had no other choice!

They could only hope for a relatively better outcome after surrendering.

Battalion Commander Zhang Dabao was still pursuing the fleeing White Elephant soldiers from behind. While leading the soldiers in a rapid advance, he boosted the morale of the new recruits:

”Brothers, don’t be afraid!”

”This time we are going to beat those White Elephant bastards into submission. Don’t be afraid of death, show me your mettle!”

”Yes!”

The soldiers responded in a thunderous unison. The sound shook the heavens and earth, and every person’s eyes burned with raging fighting spirit; morale had already reached its peak.

They were all holding back a surge of energy, just waiting to catch up with the White Elephant soldiers and teach them a good lesson.

And just when they were about to engage in battle and prepare for a big fight, they saw an unexpected scene.

They saw that those White Elephant soldiers who had originally been fleeing in panic had all stopped and were just standing there blankly.

The Dragon Kingdom soldiers immediately became vigilant, thinking the other side was about to organize a counterattack, and all gripped their weapons tightly, standing ready for battle.

However, the following scene greatly surprised them. They saw those White Elephant soldiers one by one dropping their weapons and then raising their hands high, actually choosing to surrender.

Battalion Commander Zhang Dabao was stunned for a moment, unable to react for a second, his heart filled with confusion:

”What is going on?”

”Why did they suddenly surrender?”

Immediately after, the other fifteen Individual Combat Mecha that had been advancing with them rushed over, and the lead squad leader hurriedly explained:

”Battalion Commander, our other unit has already taken control of the White Elephant command post, that’s why they surrendered!”

Battalion Commander Zhang Dabao was stunned for several seconds, finding it all somewhat hard to believe!

After all, the White Elephant soldiers who had just been confronting them aggressively had actually surrendered just like that.

However, upon closer thought, it seemed reasonable.

It was mainly because the reputation of the Individual Combat Mecha had long since been established; they were the very things that had wiped out Daishin with just a few dozen units back then!

And who was Daishin?

It was considered a regional bully in the Middle East; the fact that a few dozen mecha could destroy it shows just how powerful these mecha are!

It was normal for the White Elephant soldiers to be afraid.

Battalion Commander Zhang Dabao quickly snapped back to reality and immediately ordered the soldiers to secure the surrendered White Elephant soldiers, then, accompanied by the mecha, walked step by step toward the White Elephant command post.

When he arrived at the White Elephant command post, he saw Vikram at a glance.

Just as he was about to say something, Vikram excitedly spoke first:

”You must be the commander of the Dragon Kingdom!”

”Misunderstanding! Listen to me, it’s all a misunderstanding!”

”Please let me explain, okay?”

His face was full of ingratiating smiles, attempting to find a plausible excuse for his side’s actions.

Battalion Commander Zhang Dabao was taken aback, a surge of anger rising in his heart; he almost couldn’t help but curse, but he forced himself to hold back.

He snorted coldly and said disdainfully: ”You deployed a large army to our border, and now you tell me it’s a misunderstanding? I’m afraid this excuse of yours won’t convince us!”

Vikram hurriedly said:

”It really is a misunderstanding!”

”Listen to me, we learned that your country was celebrating the New Year, and we deeply felt the hardship of your soldiers guarding the border in this cold winter, so we brought many supplies, wanting to share them with you and strengthen the friendship between our two countries.”

”If you don’t believe me, look over there.”

As he spoke, he pointed in a direction. Everyone looked in the direction he pointed, and saw that not far away, several dozen trucks were neatly lined up.

And on the trucks, they were impressively loaded with all kinds of supplies!

Under the moonlight, it looked... quite spectacular!
