Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 276 Should I still go back to China?Su Chen’s words were like a boulder thrown into a calm lake.

Instantly, they stirred up a thousand waves among people around the world!

It completely ignited their heartfelt cheers.

”Did I hear that right?!”

”Dragon Country is actually willing to share such cheap and easy-to-use energy with us! He really is amazing, I could cry!”

An ordinary person in Europe felt their eyes redden with excitement, their voice trembling slightly, as if they couldn’t believe such good fortune had truly descended upon them.

”So, Dragon Country is the country that truly benefits humanity; they are so much better than the USA, which only uses morality as a cover!”

A young person in South America expressed this on social media.

The words were full of admiration for Dragon Country and disdain for the USA!

By comparison, Dragon Country’s responsibility and generosity appeared all the more precious.

”Just thinking that we can also use such cheap energy makes me excited!”

In a city in Asia, a family sat together, watching the news on TV, their faces beaming with anticipation and joyful smiles.

”Dragon Country is truly too good!!!”

People all over the world issued such heartfelt praises.

Cheers and applause gathered through various online channels, forming a wave of public opinion full of gratitude and praise for Dragon Country.

”I didn’t expect that the one to rescue us from the energy crisis would be Dragon Country!”

An elderly person in Africa had tears in their eyes. In this land long plagued by energy shortages, this move by Dragon Country was undoubtedly bringing them new hope—the hope to change their lives.

Even the famous writer Hertz was deeply moved by this move by Dragon Country. To commemorate this feat, he exhausted his efforts to write a book specifically for it!

The title was ”Winter Descends Upon You and Me, Yet Dragon Country Saves Us from Fire and Water!”

Once this book was released, it attracted widespread attention globally!

Many people rushed to read it, wanting to understand more deeply through the text this great contribution by Dragon Country and the profound significance behind it.

...

Upon learning that Dragon Country was willing to open up energy cooperation, high-level officials from various countries could no longer sit still and one after another called Dragon Country.

The phone rang incessantly in the office of the National Energy Agency of Dragon Country; they all eagerly hoped to sign energy trade agreements with Dragon Country.

After all, now that every country was in the dire straits caused by the energy crisis, energy shortages had triggered many social problems, industrial shutdowns, and restrictions on people’s daily lives; everyone was struggling painfully.

At this moment, Dragon Country’s willingness to provide cheap and easy-to-use energy was, for them, simply like sweet rain after a long drought—a tremendous piece of good news!

Only some countries were exceptions, such as the USA!

Their internal situation had already exploded; the atmosphere was tense and oppressive!

Everyone’s face was filled with anxiety and panic.

President Biden saw through Dragon Country’s intentions at a glance!

He furrowed his brows, his eyes filled with deep worry and fear, and he secretly pondered in his heart:

”Dragon Country... is preparing to monopolize the electricity resources of the entire Blue Planet!”

”This is a terrifying plan, and once it succeeds, all countries will be constrained by Dragon Country in terms of energy!”

”The consequences are imaginable!”

”I fear that by then, no one will dare to confront Dragon Country head-on, otherwise they will have to endure the threat of being cut off from energy supplies by Dragon Country!”

President Biden felt more afraid the more he thought about it; the more he thought, the more terrified he was!

The original confidence and the feeling of controlling everything had long since vanished!

He couldn’t help but sigh:

”Dragon Country...”

”They have really played a huge game of chess!”

At this moment, a high-level official bit the bullet and said:

”It’s impossible that we are the only country that can see through Dragon Country’s tricks. Although Dragon Country’s energy prices are very tempting, compared to handing over leverage to Dragon Country, surely many countries will insist on independence!”

He tried to comfort everyone from another perspective, making them feel that things might not have reached such a dire state.

However, as soon as this official finished speaking, he realized something was wrong. His face instantly turned pale, and the faces of the other officials also suddenly became extremely ugly. The expressions that had still held a glimmer of luck instantly disappeared, replaced by utter despair.

At this moment, they suddenly felt as if they had been struck by lightning, and they immediately thought of the key point.

President Biden shivered all over, feeling his legs go weak. He then walked tremblingly to his seat. Anger and regret intertwined in his heart. He could no longer control his emotions, angrily pounded the table several times, and shouted loudly:

”Wrong!”

”Wrong!”

”It was all wrong!”

If it were in the past, perhaps some countries would insist on independent energy development!

But what is the situation now?

Countries are suffering from an energy crisis!

Now that there is cheap and easy-to-use energy that can help them overcome the current crisis right in front of them, why would they care about anything else?

Even if they just use it to get through the current crisis and withdraw later, that would work, right?

Of course, whether the people would be willing to withdraw later is another matter!

However, in the face of a huge energy crisis, many countries would definitely prioritize solving the immediate problem!

There’s no other way; if they don’t solve it, there will be riots in their countries!

Therefore, even if they know that doing this will lead to Dragon Country monopolizing domestic energy, it is of no use!

President Biden sighed deeply, the heavy sigh seemingly telling of their helplessness and despair at this moment.

He knew very well that the originator who pushed them to Dragon Country’s side was none other than themselves!

If they hadn’t planned this energy crisis, no country would have been forced to choose to let Dragon Country monopolize their domestic electricity resources.

At this moment, the high-level officials of the USA finally realized what a huge mistake they had made!

They had originally intended to use the energy crisis to suppress Dragon Country and consolidate their own hegemonic position, but they didn’t expect it to backfire. The energy crisis they planned not only failed to destroy Dragon Country but instead helped them burst into a second spring, indirectly acting as a wedding dress for them and helping Dragon Country monopolize global electricity resources.

Thinking of this, President Biden and the group of high-level officials wanted to cry!

The bitterness and regret in their hearts were simply indescribable.

And in fact, if President Biden knew that the person who led things to this state was a young man from Dragon Country!

He would probably want to cry even more!

That’s not playing by the rules, bullying an old man like me who is seventy years old!

At this moment, President Biden felt incredibly depressed!

Yet there was nothing he could do, and he could only sulk by himself.

At this time, General Derek’s voice rang out. He looked at President Biden, hesitated for a moment, and then said:

”Mr. President, Dragon Country dares to set the electricity price at one cent, and dares to call on countries across the entire Blue Planet to cooperate with them... Does this mean that they are no longer afraid of the impact of the energy crisis?”

”Or rather, they are able to reduce the energy crisis to a range they can control!”

Although his words were relatively tactful, the meaning was very clear, which was to remind everyone that Dragon Country seemed to have occupied an absolute advantage in terms of energy, and those previous plans of the USA were likely all going to fail.

President Biden sighed helplessly and responded with a bitter face:

”Are you trying to say that our energy plan has gone bankrupt... is that it?”

Derek stopped mid-sentence, but finally bit the bullet and said again:

”From the current point of view, it seems that is exactly the case.”

As soon as these words came out, the hearts of everyone in the conference room seemed to fall into an abyss, suddenly sinking to the bottom.

They originally still held a glimmer of fantasy, but now even that last fantasy was shattered. The plan didn’t just go bankrupt; it even helped Dragon Country in return. This blow was truly too heavy.

President Biden was furious and angrily questioned:

”Who proposed this plan? I have reason to suspect that he is a mole!”

He widened his eyes and looked around at the crowd, his gaze as if trying to find the culprit from everyone’s faces.

Suddenly, he slapped his forehead and remembered that it was that Secretary of State far away in Dragon Country!

But at this time, he couldn’t scold the Secretary of State even if he wanted to. After all, the person was far away in another country, and after thinking about it carefully later, he couldn’t just casually frame the Secretary of State, because when the proposal was made, he himself had nodded in agreement!

He could only blame his own bad luck, which led to such an end!

Thinking of this, he sighed again.

Meanwhile, the US Secretary of State, far away in Dragon Country, was also beaten black and blue by Dragon Country’s series of electricity policies.

He stood there, his face pale, his eyes dull, knowing very well in his heart that his plan had gone bankrupt again.

His mind was now filled with one question:

”Should I even return home...”
