Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 264 Never again!Above the Dragon Kingdom.

Beneath the boundless firmament, an Eagle Sauce reconnaissance plane was silently carrying out a scouting mission.

The pilot was focused intently on the instrument panel and radar interface, attempting to capture even the slightest sliver of valuable intelligence.

Just then, a Space Mecha, like a steel behemoth appearing out of thin air, slowly manifested not far from him.

The mecha’s body was incredibly massive, its silhouette, which seemed to blot out the sky, appearing all the more imposing and majestic against the backdrop of the moonlight.

The reconnaissance pilot glanced up inadvertently, and the moment his gaze touched the Space Mecha, his face instantly turned deathly pale. He felt as if he had been struck by lightning, his mind completely reeling.

His hands, which had been steadily gripping the control stick, began to tremble uncontrollably, and beads of sweat the size of beans instantly seeped from his forehead, sliding down his cheeks.

Countless terrifying thoughts flashed through his mind, and subconsciously, he wanted to maneuver the fighter jet to escape, to flee from this behemoth that filled him with extreme fear.

However, just as he anxiously tried to pull the control stick to change flight direction and accelerate away, he discovered with horror that his fighter jet seemed to have suddenly turned into a pile of lifeless scrap metal; no matter how hard he tried to control it, the plane showed absolutely no reaction.

The control stick, which was usually so responsive, felt as if it had been welded to the pilot’s seat, remaining unmoved. The fighter jet continued to maintain its original flight attitude, gliding forward unhurriedly.

”Damn it, why did a malfunction have to happen at a time like this!”

The pilot roared in despair, kicking his cockpit floor hard in anger. That forceful kick caused a dull ”clank” sound to echo inside the cockpit!

But this did nothing to change the plane’s predicament; instead, because he had kicked with such excessive force, a sharp pain shot through his toes.

Subsequently, enduring the pain, he tried to contact headquarters to report the sudden emergency, hoping to receive support or instructions.

He scrambled to grab the microphone, pressed it to his lips, and screamed at the top of his lungs. However, the only response he received was a disconcerting busy signal from the microphone!

That ”beep-beep-beep” sound echoed continuously within the silent cockpit!

It was as if it were the death knell rung by the Grim Reaper, with every sound striking heavily against his heart.

He froze, his eyes wide and face full of disbelief.

Immediately after, his gaze frantically scanned the radar interface. This glance caused his heart to sink to the bottom of a valley; he was shocked to discover that the radar screen was pitch black, with the interface that should have been flickering with various signal dots now completely devoid of activity.

All signs indicated that this did not seem to be a simple aircraft malfunction, but rather that it had been targeted, interfered with, and controlled by a mysterious and powerful force!

His heart skipped a beat, and a chill shot straight from the soles of his feet to the top of his head, causing him to shiver involuntarily.

Just as he was immersed in this series of terrors and panic, something even more terrifying happened.

He suddenly discovered that the plane had turned around uncontrollably, nose down, plunging straight toward the ground. The rapid rate of descent caused his body to sink sharply, and he felt as if he had instantly lost all weight, his stomach churning violently.

”Ah!”

The pilot was so frightened that he let out an exclamation, subconsciously grabbing the seat armrests tightly with both hands in an attempt to steady himself.

At this life-or-death moment, ejecting became the only thought in his mind. He hurriedly reached for the ejection handle, yet, to his near-total collapse, the ejection mechanism had also malfunctioned. The handle that should have saved his life now seemed to be deliberately working against him; no matter how hard he pulled, it showed absolutely no reaction.

Watching the fighter jet get closer and closer to the ground, the shadow of death looming over him, his eyes were wide open, filled with despair, as if he had already seen the tragic outcome of himself being smashed to pieces.

Just at this critical juncture, suddenly, the fighter jet was jerked upward as if by an invisible hand, performing an extreme climb once again, shooting straight into the clouds like a cannonball, and flying back into the sky.

The pilot was completely stunned. He stared with wide eyes, his mouth agape, unable to close it for a long time. The expression on his face was frozen in that moment, full of terror and bewilderment.

He had absolutely no idea what was going on, especially that stunt-like climbing maneuver; with his years of flight experience and training level, he simply couldn’t have performed it.

And right now, this plane seemed to have been endowed with life, operating on its own and performing all sorts of inconceivable maneuvers in the air.

”What the hell???”

He muttered to himself, his voice becoming hoarse and weak from fear.

”No!”

A moment later, the pilot seemed to suddenly realize something. A flash of inspiration crossed his mind, and he exclaimed in disbelief: ”The plane has definitely been hijacked! Someone is controlling my plane!”

As soon as this thought emerged, it completely stunned the pilot. In the modern warfare he was familiar with, he had never heard of technology that could actually control someone else’s fighter jet!

This had already exceeded the scope of his cognition.

Just as he was still struggling to think, trying to figure out what was going on, the fighter jet plummeted downward again without warning. The feeling of rapid descent caused his heart to instantly jump into his throat, scaring him into gripping the control stick tightly. Although he knew in his heart that this was completely useless, his instinctual desire to survive still made him make a final struggle.

Seeing it about to crash into the ground again, just when he thought he was really going to die this time, the plane performed an extreme climb once more, narrowly avoiding the doom of crashing again.

But this nightmarish scene did not end there. Next, such thrilling dives and climbs were repeated three or four more times, each time feeling like a walk before the gates of hell, causing the pilot’s mentality to completely break down.

”Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!”

He could no longer control his emotions. His eyes were bloodshot, and like a crazed beast, he frantically pressed the ejection button. The button was pressed so hard it made ”click-clack” sounds, as if he were about to crush it.

He finally understood completely: he was clearly being treated as a toy, and he was certain that the one behind this mischief was definitely the Dragon Kingdom!

Just as he was thinking this, the nose of the plane plummeted again without warning, with a momentum even more fierce than the previous few times, rushing straight toward the ground like a falling meteor.

”Damn it...”

The pilot roared in despair. At this moment, his mentality had completely collapsed, his eyes filled with despair and regret!

If he had known the target this time was the Dragon Kingdom, he wouldn’t have come for anything!
