Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 265 Steel BehemothOn the other side, inside the US President’s office.

The atmosphere inside the conference room was now extremely oppressive.

The US President’s face looked particularly grim!

After witnessing the terrifying power displayed by the Dragon Kingdom’s Aerospace Carrier, the lingering confidence he once held to continue competing against the Dragon Kingdom had vanished without a trace.

The chilling Space Mecha on that Aerospace Carrier and the immense power of the Electromagnetic Naval Gun felt like insurmountable mountains, weighing heavily upon his heart!

He realized that continuing to gather intelligence on the Aerospace Carrier would only be asking for trouble.

Therefore, he gritted his teeth and made a firm decision, ordering his subordinates to recall the reconnaissance aircraft currently on duty, hoping to end the surveillance operation as quickly as possible before it triggered a larger crisis.

However, not long after, the control tower suddenly sent a message that left him horrified!

Their reconnaissance aircraft had lost contact!

”What?”

Upon hearing this news, President Biden immediately stood up from his seat in shock, his eyes wide with astonishment and disbelief.

He pondered to himself:

”Our reconnaissance aircraft was perfectly fine; why would it lose contact? This defies all logic!”

But soon, a thought flashed through his mind, his expression instantly turned grim, and he said through gritted teeth:

”It must be the Dragon Kingdom playing tricks again!”

The control tower immediately followed up with a clarification, as a staff member reported anxiously:

”Mr. President, we did not see any Dragon Kingdom fighter jets, nor did we detect any Dragon Kingdom mecha taking action. This situation is truly bizarre!”

The US President was furious. His once relatively calm face was now distorted with rage, veins bulging on his forehead as he roared:

”Get me the satellite footage! I want to see exactly what happened!”

However, the Satellite Department returned with even more despairing news!

The person in charge responded helplessly:

”Mr. President, due to some form of signal interference, our satellites failed to capture any footage. We are truly powerless!”

Hearing this reply, US President Biden began to feel a bone-deep sense of fear.

The Dragon Kingdom’s methods terrified him more and more. That invisible, intangible, yet omnipresent deterrent felt like a giant, invisible net tightly enveloping him, leaving him feeling suffocated and utterly powerless.

General Derek watched the President’s flustered state, hesitated for a moment, then bit the bullet and asked:

”Mr. President, should we... should we still take action against the Dragon Kingdom’s Aerospace Carrier?”

Upon hearing this, President Biden laughed bitterly and shook his head, as if he had just heard a colossal joke. His voice was laced with profound helplessness and fear as he replied:

”I’ll thank the heavens if the Dragon Kingdom doesn’t turn around and come after us!”

”Our reconnaissance aircraft has likely been destroyed. Contact our carrier fleet immediately; I am canceling Operation Dragon Hunt. Tell them to return!”

After speaking, he seemed to have exhausted all his strength, slumping weakly into his seat, staring blankly ahead with hollow, bewildered eyes.

...

A few minutes earlier, 100 nautical miles outside the Dragon Kingdom’s Southern Sea Area!

The US carrier battle group was steaming majestically toward the target waters.

Each aircraft carrier was like a steel behemoth on the ocean, standing as steady as a mountain amidst the crashing waves!

The various advanced weapons and equipment on their hulls glinted coldly under the moonlight!

Before this voyage, they had been equipped with the US’s most advanced defensive and weapon systems!

Missiles were neatly lined up on the launchers, and even nuclear warheads had been loaded onto the carriers; with a single order, they could unleash earth-shattering power.

General Schroeder, the fleet commander, stood in the aircraft carrier’s command center, gazing out at the vast ocean with a heart full of anticipation for the coming battle.

His eyes burned with the flames of vengeance. Previously, three Dragon Kingdom Strategic Warships had used their overwhelming firepower to force two US carrier battle groups to flee in panic. This had caused the US Navy to lose all face internationally, turning them into the laughingstock of navies around the world.

Now, the entire world looked down on their navy. For the always arrogant US, this was undoubtedly a profound humiliation, and General Schroeder was determined to wash away this disgrace!

That was why he had prepared so thoroughly this time; from the stockpiling of weapons and ammunition to the soldiers’ pre-battle training, everything had been done to perfection.

Before the battle, he stood on the deck, facing a group of spirited US Navy personnel, and delivered an impassioned mobilization speech:

”Soldiers, our previous strategic retreat was mistaken by the entire world as fleeing!”

”Now, the whole world is watching us, mocking our weakness. We must wash away this shame ourselves!”

”We will let the world know that the US Navy remains an invincible maritime force! Soldiers, do you have confidence?”

”Yes!”

The US Navy personnel shouted in unison. The sound was earth-shattering, as if it could pierce through the clouds, echoing across the entire sea.

Every face radiated confidence and determination, as they hungered to prove their glory with the enemy’s blood in the coming battle.

Just then, the distant sky suddenly brightened without warning. The light was like an exploding sun, instantly illuminating the entire horizon and stinging their eyes so intensely they could barely keep them open.

Immediately following, a deafening sound arrived. The roar was like a howl from hell, rolling in, causing the entire sea to churn with violent waves, resembling a scene from the apocalypse.

From the common sailors to the high-ranking officers, everyone was stunned by this sudden event. They stared with wide, panicked, and bewildered eyes at the sky that was as bright as daylight, a sense of ominous foreboding rising in their hearts.

This scene was simply too terrifying; it must have been caused by the explosion of at least hundreds of nuclear bombs!

This made them realize that a power far beyond their imagination was demonstrating its might.

Yet, they were completely unprepared for all of this, forced to passively endure this dual assault on their sight and hearing.

At the same time, General Schroeder received a message!

When he heard the content of the message, his face instantly turned as pale as paper, and his body began to tremble involuntarily!

He wanted to believe the message was fake!

Because the message he received was... The Dragon Kingdom had nuked Japan!!!
