Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 270: The Eternal Day Project Announced!”The USA is no place to stay!”

”It seems I have to run away!”

Smith said to himself inwardly.

He knew very well that if this matter were known by the high command of the USA, he would absolutely be finished.

As for the Secretary of State, he knew that his original deception plan had prompted the Dragon Country to build the Aerospace Carrier!

He wasn’t sure if the Secretary of State had thought in that direction, but he didn’t dare to gamble; he had to make plans for his own escape route.

”The others who know about the deception plan, I can handle, but how do I handle the Secretary of State?”

Thinking back to when he introduced the Aerospace Carrier deception plan to the Secretary of State and even boasted about how brilliant the plan was, Smith now only felt deep regret.

He weighed the pros and cons in his mind, thinking about his way out.

He realized he had to run to a safe place, and the Dragon Country seemed to be the best choice at the moment.

But the problem was, he worked in intelligence, so the Dragon Country might not necessarily accept him!

Since when does an intelligence officer defect to the enemy?

People who didn’t know would think he was doing this on purpose to infiltrate the enemy!

He had to make the Dragon Country feel his sincerity!

But how could he make the Dragon Country feel his sincerity?

Suddenly! Smith had a flash of inspiration. He gritted his teeth and thought, might as well go all the way!

Package up all the information he hadn’t yet had time to ”leak” and take it to the Dragon Country.

”Aren’t you capable of building things?”

”Then build away!”

...

Inside the Aerospace Carrier, the atmosphere was subtle and tense.

The US Secretary of State was still persistently and shamelessly trying to discuss cooperation with the Dragon Country.

”Mr. Qin, what do you think of my proposal?”

The Secretary of State was all smiles, but his eyes revealed a hint of cunning, attempting to move Elder Qin with seemingly enticing conditions.

”Besides providing energy to help your country overcome the energy crisis, we can also provide various types of technical support!”

”Although your military technology is indeed quite advanced, as everyone has witnessed, a country’s strength cannot be defined solely by its military; the electronics industry and other industries must also be strong enough!”

”In these areas, we in the USA can provide support and help.”

”And your country only needs to share the Aerospace Carrier technology with us!”

He spoke incessantly, as if he had already seen the scene of the Dragon Country gladly accepting the cooperation.

However, Elder Qin just responded indifferently: ”I cannot make the decision; those who can might not necessarily agree to your proposal!”

The tone was neither hot nor cold, making the Secretary of State feel as if a basin of cold water had extinguished the fire of enthusiasm in his heart; he was both embarrassed and angry!

But here on the Dragon Country’s Aerospace Carrier, he could only suppress this emotion deep in his heart, not daring to reveal it in the slightest.

He snorted coldly to himself, thinking: ”Playing hard to get, are you? When you can’t hold on any longer and the day the energy crisis erupts arrives, you will realize how good my proposal was and what you have missed!?”

In his cognition, although the Aerospace Carrier was incomparably powerful, it was definitely a big guy that consumed an extreme amount of energy.

And the Electromagnetic Naval Gun and Space Mecha on it—which one of those isn’t a huge energy consumer!

He felt that the Dragon Country might have the ability to manufacture this advanced equipment, but they might not be able to afford such high energy consumption in the long run.

Thinking of this, the Secretary of State’s worry about the Aerospace Carrier disappeared quite a bit unconsciously, and he even began to feel that this seemingly terrifying big guy wasn’t as scary as he had imagined.

Just as this thought emerged, Elder Qin suddenly said: ”Let’s end the tour of the Aerospace Carrier here!”

Upon hearing this, the Secretary of State was immediately somewhat reluctant; he was still thinking about gathering more useful intelligence, and ending the tour so early didn’t meet his expectations.

Just as he wanted to shamelessly insist on visiting a bit more, he heard Elder Qin say again: ”We still have a new program Easter egg, and I hope Mr. Secretary of State can observe it.”

Hearing this, the Secretary of State was stunned, and a trace of doubt appeared on his face: ”The Dragon Country still has a program?”

He hesitated for a moment, weighed the pros and cons in his heart, and then nodded.

Although he really wanted to continue collecting intelligence about the Aerospace Carrier, compared to intelligence that might yield little, he was more curious about what the new program prepared by the Dragon Country was, and whether it would be something brand new that could shock the world?

Various terrifying thoughts couldn’t help but emerge in his mind; could it be a new weapon?

Thinking of this, his nerves tightened instantly, and he nervously asked Elder Qin: ”Mr. Qin, this new program wouldn’t be a new weapon, would it?”

Elder Qin chuckled and waved his hand gently, saying: ”Please rest assured, Mr. Secretary of State, the new program is not a weapon!”

Hearing this, the Secretary of State’s hanging heart finally let go, and he secretly rejoiced: ”It’s good that it’s not a weapon; the Dragon Country’s weapons have already driven people crazy. If another new weapon appeared, how could anyone live?”

Subsequently, he followed Elder Qin to the conference cabin, which had already been connected to the ground network, and the screen was playing a new program Easter egg from the Spring Festival Gala.

When he saw Su Chen’s figure appear on the television again, the Secretary of State couldn’t help but be stunned. He felt this young man looked familiar and hurriedly asked Elder Qin: ”Isn’t this young man the one who attended the launch ceremony with us?”

”Who is he? Why did he attend the Aerospace Carrier launch ceremony, and also participate in the second program?”

Elder Qin chuckled and replied: ”Him! He is the chief designer of our Aerospace Carrier, and also the Chief Engineer of our second program!”

Once these words were spoken, the Secretary of State was directly stunned; he widened his eyes, his face full of disbelief, as if he had heard a joke that sounded like a tall tale.

After two seconds, he suddenly laughed and said: ”Mr. Qin, you really love to joke!”

In his view, how could such a young person be capable of undertaking such an important responsibility?

Elder Qin also laughed, thinking to himself: ”I knew you wouldn’t believe it!” Then he said: ”Actually, he is a college student representative from our school!”

”We particularly value education, so for such an important occasion, we invited a college student representative over!”

The Secretary of State nodded and didn’t feel anything was amiss; after all, in his concept, it wasn’t rare for college student representatives to participate in some important activities.

And he didn’t delve deeper, but keenly noticed a point in Elder Qin’s words!

”The second program... is a project???”

As soon as this thought came out, he immediately felt as if an electric current was passing through his body at high speed. His body trembled slightly, and he quickly reacted: ”Could it be an energy project?”

”Could the Dragon Country really be preparing to start burning coal nationwide???”

”If that’s the case, then it basically confirms the fact that the Dragon Country is already deeply mired in an energy crisis!”

Thinking of this, he immediately widened his eyes and watched the program carefully with full attention, wanting to find the answer from it.

And at this moment, Su Chen also began to announce the second Easter egg. Eternal Day Project! Controlled Nuclear Fusion matrix power generation network!

When this Easter egg was fully spoken and reached the Secretary of State’s ears, this man, nearly fifty years old, felt a boom, as if thunder was rolling in his head, and he was instantly stunned.

”Controlled Nuclear Fusion!!!!!!!”

”The Dragon Country isn’t burning coal...” ”But has mastered Controlled Nuclear Fusion?!?”

He was screaming crazily in his heart. He knew very well what Controlled Nuclear Fusion was; it was an advanced technology capable of providing a large amount of clean energy, and it was also a project that the USA focused on investing in and paying attention to.

Once mastered, it would be able to bring countless energy advantages to a country and change the energy landscape of the entire world.

However, they had been struggling to research in this field all along, but hadn’t been able to achieve even a single breakthrough.

But now, he actually heard that the Dragon Country had mastered it! And had even applied it!

At this moment, the Secretary of State could no longer maintain that calm and composed image in front of the media; he was truly startled, the expression on his face froze instantly, and then turned into extreme shock and panic.

He originally thought that the Dragon Country was about to be brought down by the energy crisis he had orchestrated, but he didn’t expect that they had actually achieved overtaking on a bend in the energy field, which he was best at, and mastered the Controlled Nuclear Fusion technology.

”Wrong!” The Secretary of State kept denying this fact in his heart; he didn’t believe the Dragon Country could master Controlled Nuclear Fusion, and he wouldn’t believe it no matter what!

His heart fell into extreme struggle and chaos. The Secretary of State was going crazy!
