I Live on the Land in Global Games

Chapter 15 - 15 14 Ranking List15: Chapter 14 Ranking List 15: Chapter 14 Ranking List “Oh my god, number one on the level rankings, how did you do it!” Liu Cheng exclaimed loudly with admiration.

“What?

Number one on the level rankings?” Mu Ying quickly opened the Player Manual and flipped to the World Forum rankings.

[Level Rankings]

[No.1 Mu Ying (Druid Level 1 54%)]

[No.2 Huo Shaobai (Warrior Level 1 50%)]

[No.3 Miao Guowei (Warrior Level 1 50%)]

[No.4 Zhan Qing (Wanderer Level 1 50%)]

[No.5 Tang Zheng (Warrior Level 1 50%)]

...

At first glance, it looked almost the same as yesterday, the only difference being that she had shot up from beyond a hundredth place to first.

Looking at the Slaughter Experience rankings, it was still the familiar scene.

The Slaughter Experience rankings were calculated based on actual achievements.

Having killed 18 zombies so far, it was normal for her to remain unranked.

Liu Cheng’s exclamation attracted most people’s attention, and many, like her, flipped through their Player Manuals.

After finishing, they stared at her in silence.

“...”

“Don’t look at me like that, think about what I said today.

Professional Experience is also very important.

Learn how to earn Professional Experience, and you can easily make the list too.

These who are stuck at 50%, they have decent rankings on the Slaughter Experience list, but they surely just focused on killing zombies and reached their limit,” Mu Ying said earnestly.

“Boss, I was wrong.

I shouldn’t have tried to take advantage of you yesterday.

Please, can you show me how,” Liu Luoluo pleaded while grabbing Mu Ying’s arm.

“I am a Priest, just like Druids belong to the Divine Skill profession.

Druids please the nature, then priests must please their Gods, right?

Today, after you finished talking, I sat in my room praising God for a long time, but it was useless.

What’s the problem here?”

“Umm...

I’m just giving my opinion, it’s not guaranteed to be correct,” Mu Ying said as Liu Luoluo nodded for her to continue, “I personally think, even normal people don’t hunt without seeing the rabbit yet, not to mention...umm, you get my point, right?

We Druids aren’t cultivating by just praising nature, but by contributing to nature or getting closer to it, then we see the rewards.”

Liu Luoluo clenched her palms together, “I get it now!

The Priest profession introduction says that God will grant His believers strength!

Believers, believers, it’s faith!

Mu Ying, thank you!”

She happily threw herself into a hug with Mu Ying.

The girl’s sudden closeness was a bit much for Mu Ying to take, but she was happy about her realization and hopeful she would cultivate well, becoming more powerful and contributing plenty of money to her territory.

After all, you have to nurture the leeks before you can harvest them.

With Liu Luoluo’s success story, the bonfire party turned into a professional cultivation discussion session, with Mu Ying mostly offering advice while others joined in the conversation.

During this process, she gained a deeper understanding of other professions and discovered a new pattern.

It turns out the difficulty of professional cultivation is also influenced by Attributes.

For Druids and Priests, the higher the Perception Attribute, the easier it is to get closer to their source of power.

Her Perception Attribute was four points higher than Liu Luoluo’s, making it much easier to communicate with nature and gain its favor.

She also realized how rare Spell Casting professions were among the twenty-odd people present, including her there were only four Spellcasters.

The other people’s Spell Casting Attributes had not reached ten points.

At the time of choosing professions, they didn’t even have this option.

However, Spellcasters were also the weakest now, Divine Skill professions were a bit better because they had something to learn, but other Spell Casting professions had to collect Spells themselves.

Cheng Wei, the pitiful Mage representative present, said the Oak Grocery store did sell Low-level Magic, but even the cheapest cantrip cost about half a silver coin, which is around fifty copper coins, almost the equivalent earnings of killing a dozen or twenty zombies.

Mu Ying sincerely sympathized; it was indeed harsh.

However, as soon as she heard about the cantrip “Frozen Ray,” which both damages and slows, she couldn’t help but feel a bit jealous.

Looking at the Druid’s Magic List, what does it have in terms of cantrips?

Not a single useful one.

Indeed, it seems that Mages are the true pure Spell Casting profession.

Nevertheless, Mu Ying still loved her own profession.

The learning curve for the Mage profession was too steep.

In such an environment, one could only rely on teammates in the early stages.

Having a reliable team was fine, otherwise, it was like being a mound of dust on the ground.

And how lovely nature is, the vibrant greenery, far more interesting than a pile of complex books.

The bonfire party successfully brought everyone closer, and although the apocalypse was cruel and human hearts unpredictable, at least at that moment, they had not lost hope and still maintained the moral baseline brought by civilized society.

Many people agreed to form teams, planning to go out together the next day to earn money by fighting zombies.

Mu Ying was once again invited by Cheng Wei and the others, but she still did not agree, only saying that if they met and their goals aligned, they would act together.

Because her focus was on cultivation, and she needed to spend a lot of time learning spells, her schedule did not align with others, and she did not want to disrupt her own rhythm.

During the casual evening chats, she did not neglect her spell studies; she had also just learned the entanglement technique.

Others helped her test it, and she could trap several adult males at once, which should make it even easier to deal with the slow-moving zombies.

That day, she went to bed late, and after returning to the Tree House, she was still spirited enough to count her copper coins.

Twenty new people came today, and though the Tree House was not rented out, the entrance fee alone brought in 100 copper coins, plus 35 copper coins from the mountain climbing club members.

Mu Ying counted and also found 3 shiny silver coins in the pile of copper coins.

She flipped through the adventure record.

[Oak Grocery turned in June shop rent: 3 silver coins]

Sure enough for a person who owned a half-plane, truly wealthy and bold.

Mu Ying counted her deposits, a total of 203 copper coins and 3 silver coins.

1 silver coin can be split into 100 copper coins, and 100 copper coins can also be combined into 1 silver coin.

Mu Ying combined them, totaling 5 silver coins and 3 copper coins, transforming 4 of those silver coins into territory energy, along with the previously remaining 50 points, totaling 450 points of energy.

Today, she posted the location of Qingshan Camp in a popular thread about the camp in the public chat area of the World Forum.

Tomorrow there should be even more people coming.

The territory was still a bit small.

She spent 300 energy to expand the Territory Shield, increasing the area of the territory to one thousand square meters, and also constructed 3 Tree House Residences for rent.

After the expansion of the territory area, the energy consumption to maintain the Territory Shield also doubled, costing 20 energy per day, and the remaining 60 points of energy injected into the Territory Shield were only sufficient for 3 days.

[Territory Name: Qingshan Camp]

[Lord: Mu Ying]

[Territory Level: Camp]

[Energy: 0]

[Area: 1000 square meters]

[Facilities: Territory Shield (3/3), Tree House Residence×6, Oak Grocery]

[Residents: 26]

[Blueprints: Territory Shield, Tree House Residence, Shop]

[Rules: Please expand]

[Materials: 0]

The territory finally looked presentable.

Today, quite a few people bivouacked in the camp; the sudden appearance of Tree Houses and the change in the territory’s boundaries caused a stir, but it soon calmed down.

Although Qingshan Camp was not as large as other camps exposed in the forum, with only one grocery store, they were lucky to have come across Qingshan Camp.

After all, the entrance fee was halved.

What use are so many shops if one has no money to buy anything?

Now that Qingshan Camp had expanded, the first thing they did was to check the entrance fee, and only after confirming that it had not increased did they feel relieved.
