43: Chapter 43 A Fully Armed Squad! Beast Ranking SystemThe capital city of the Great Xia Kingdom, Dragon City.

After studying the data on the Prehistoric White-Feathered Great Eagle for a day, Wang Jin, a director of the Blue Sky Military Industrial Group, was shocked to discover that this extinct prehistoric creature possessed immense power!

He had not only watched the live stream but also seen the video of Ye Yang tearing apart and overturning the carriage in the Changbai Mountain Nature Reserve, as well as the video of his rapid physical growth.

This video was accessible only to the upper echelons of the Great Xia Kingdom, but for a military industry tycoon like him, he had the connections to obtain it.

He was shaken to his core.

”This White-Feathered Giant Eagle is simply a monster... The experts’ analysis is correct; its physical explosive power is at least over ten tons... Its flight speed is unknown...”

”That good-for-nothing actually wanted to tame this kind of monster as a pet; he was truly courting death!”

”However... how could my, Wang Jin’s, son die at the hands of a beast!”

No matter how powerful this White-Feathered Giant Eagle was, and no matter how much of a waste his son had been, he would make this White-Feathered Giant Eagle be buried with his son!

Wang Jin closed the various expert analysis reports on the White-Feathered Giant Eagle in his hands, his eyes flickering.

”Whew... it seems it will be somewhat difficult to eliminate this White-Feathered Giant Eagle; I must devise a plan.”

Being meticulous, upon knowing that the target White-Feathered Giant Eagle possessed superhuman strength and had wiped out a lightly equipped mercenary team, he instantly formulated a perfect plan in his mind.

”To eliminate this monster, I need even greater firepower!”

He gazed toward the center of Dragon City, where the tallest building in the entire city stood, which was also the center of power for the entire Great Xia Kingdom...

Soon, the upper echelons of the Great Xia Kingdom gathered consciously and held a meeting at the Dragon City Central Building.

The enclosed conference room was full of people, mainly from the military and scientific research departments; at a glance, there were nearly a hundred people present.

”Comrade Wang Jin, you asked me to convene an emergency meeting, saying you had intelligence on the latest military equipment, so why don’t you tell us about it.”

”Very well, Leader Xia.”

Wang Jin stood up and bowed respectfully to the old man sitting at the head of the table. The etiquette was very standard and solemn, because the old man sitting at the head was the supreme leader of the Great Xia Kingdom.

Wang Jin then swept his gaze over the hundred people in the conference room. Feeling the prying eyes upon him, he felt annoyed.

”A bunch of opportunistic scoundrels!”

However, he maintained a solemn expression on his face. After looking around, he spoke formally.

”My Blue Sky Military Industrial Group has recently developed a set of modern infantry squad combat equipment. It can ensure powerful fire coverage while precisely striking and eliminating targets, giving it great competitive ability in international small-scale ground combat operations!”

”I believe that if our Great Xia Kingdom army is equipped with this set of weaponry, it will certainly improve the combat capability of our squads!”

A document was timely handed out to the hundred people in the conference room.

The various military generals and scientific professors nodded after reviewing the armament data.

”Indeed, this set of weaponry is very suitable for a thirty-person combat unit.”

”The equipment is easily portable, has high mobility, and provides a certain guarantee of firepower...”

”Not bad... not bad...”

Seeing the reaction of everyone in the conference room, Wang Jin smiled.

”These are all theoretical; there hasn’t been time to experiment yet. I suggest letting my company’s employees experiment on behalf of the Great Xia Kingdom army to test the data of this equipment!”

As soon as these words were spoken, the conference room fell into silence.

The military generals and the professors and scholars from the scientific research department exchanged glances, smiling without speaking.

An impatient general spoke up directly, ”Are you planning to go to Jianghai City to find that prehistoric creature to test the data?”

Wang Jin nodded indifferently.

Because he knew that the fact his son had died at the hands of that monster on the outskirts of Jianghai City was already known to this group of generals and professors.

An old professor pushed up his glasses and looked at Wang Jin.

”But the mountains on the outskirts of Jianghai City where the prehistoric creature is located, although uninhabited, are simply too close to Jianghai City...”

Wang Jin looked indifferent, as if he had anticipated this.

”For the next three years, the Blue Sky Military Industrial Group will offer a 20% discount on the costs of weapons and equipment needed by the Great Xia Kingdom army!”

Seeing the military generals nod, he turned his gaze to the professors from the scientific research department wearing white coats, ”I know you all really want a specimen of that prehistoric creature. I promise that after the test is finished, I will definitely send the corpse of the White-Feathered Giant Eagle to you.”

The scientific professors exchanged glances and said nothing more.

Having handled the group of ”opportunistic” generals and professors, Wang Jin turned his gaze toward the old man at the head of the table.

”What is your opinion, Leader Xia?”

His tone was very respectful.

Leader Xia opened his cloudy eyes and glanced indifferently at Wang Jin, who was sitting upright, ”This is the only time; do not let it happen again, and you must not involve anyone else.”

”Very well... Leader, I understand. Then, everyone, I will excuse myself from the meeting.”

Having received a satisfactory answer, Wang Jin very tactfully exited the meeting first.

After he left, the generals and scientific professors in the conference room looked at the old man at the head of the table in confusion.

”Leader, why did you agree to let Wang Jin take an armed unit to the outskirts of Jianghai City?”

”That’s right... no one except military personnel is allowed to mobilize armed units. If an accident occurs, the responsibility is too great!”

In the Great Xia Kingdom, the safety of the people in the cities and social stability were always the top priority. Situations where anyone other than military personnel held firearms had never occurred, let alone leading a squad of troops outside to carry out a mission.

”I know the questions in your hearts, but you must first look at this document.”

Leader Xia turned on the projector, and a huge double-wing symbol appeared on the projection, followed by a large amount of information about beasts.

Fierce Beast classification... A, B, C, D, E, F... Each level is divided into three minor sub-levels.

Class F Fierce Beasts have several times the combat power of ordinary wild beasts; the specific combat power depends on the species of the Fierce Beast.

Class E Fierce Beasts possess strength beyond ordinary wild beasts and can cause massive destruction to villages.

Class D Fierce Beasts have robust constitutions and are powerful biological individuals evolved to a certain level; not only is their strength immense, but they also possess human-like intelligence, can easily destroy a village of ten thousand people, and have significant destructive power against towns.

Class C Fierce Beast data is classified; not unlocked.

Class B Fierce Beast data is classified; not unlocked.

Class A Fierce Beast data is classified; not unlocked.

To be determined...

”What kind of information is this? It must be fake, right? How could there be creatures in the world capable of destroying towns?”

A scientific professor was confused; this was also the doubt in the hearts of everyone present.

Leader Xia raised his hand to turn off the projector and said to everyone, ”This is all data transmitted to our Great Xia Kingdom a short while ago by a mysterious organization; it is possible that other countries on Blue Star have also received it.”

”Initially, I felt the same way as you all do now, very skeptical, thinking it must be a joke played by some organization...”

”But if you think about the magical growth speed and astonishing power of the Prehistoric White-Feathered Great Eagle, this data is very likely to be true...”

A general frowned, ”Leader, since that is the case, why not mobilize our army to capture the White-Feathered Giant Eagle?”

Leader Xia smiled and shook his head upon hearing this.

”All things have spirits. That White-Feathered Giant Eagle appeared out of thin air within the territory of our Great Xia Kingdom. Despite possessing such powerful strength, other than causing the deaths of those few mercenaries who actively attacked it and Wang Jin’s son, it has not attacked any of our Great Xia Kingdom citizens.”

”Furthermore, we have also noted that yesterday, two girls from Jianghai City had an unusual relationship with the White-Feathered Giant Eagle. It is possible that this White-Feathered Giant Eagle possesses human-like intelligence, so we should treat it with caution.”
