Spiritual Energy Revival: Transform Into a Divine Phoenix, Automatically Upgrade

11: Chapter 11 Small Red FruitsProfessor Li and his group ran to the side of the road in a panic, looking back at the forest with lingering fear. At this moment, the silent green mountains and forests were no longer as beautiful as they had imagined, but rather like a man-eating demon.

”Finally made it out, damn it! How could a pack of big gray wolves appear in these mountains?!”

”Yeah! It’s a good thing that pack of wolves didn’t chase us, otherwise we would have definitely been dead!”

”Phew... We owe it all to that Sparrow that Li Minmin and Ran Xiaoyue brought! If it hadn’t lured the wolf pack away, we would have been eaten by those big gray wolves until not even bones were left!”

”Hiss... Why would that pack of wolves chase that Sparrow?!”

The group, panting heavily where they stood, felt puzzled as they recalled what had just happened.

Li Minmin stroked Dahei and Erha while comforting Ran Xiaoyue, ”Don’t worry, Little Phoenix will definitely be fine...”

”Mhm...”

Although they knew in their hearts that Little Phoenix could fly and that no matter how fierce those big gray wolves were, they couldn’t grow wings to hurt him, Little Phoenix had stepped forward to save their group, which made them unable to help but worry.

Professor Li sat on a stone by the roadside, gasping for breath. Seeing the worried expressions of the two young girls, he smiled and said, ”That little Sparrow will definitely be fine. I’ve already called the city’s Investigation Bureau. Once the officers arrive, we’ll head back into the mountains!”

”That’s wonderful!”

Ran Xiaoyue exclaimed happily.

Professor Li shook his head and looked at the forest with a heavy heart.

He thought more than the average person. A pack of big gray wolves had actually appeared in the suburbs of Jianghai City; what could be the reason for this?

”If this is because of spiritual energy, then... all human settlements in the wilderness will be in trouble!”

...Meanwhile, at Ye Yang’s location.

A large tiger with black and yellow stripes, piercing eyes, and a white forehead appeared a few dozen meters from the wolf pack. The aura of the King of the Forest instantly made all the wolves treat it as a formidable enemy.

In the natural world, wolf packs and tigers generally do not engage in battle.

But today, neither side retreated. Instead, they crouched low, emitting low growls from their throats.

The leader of the wolf pack saw a tiger appear and block them, and a pair of wild wolf eyes looked at the tiger opposite.

He was very intelligent and could see that this tiger was unwilling to leave and did not want them to proceed any further.

”Roar!!!”

A massive tiger roar rang out. The dozens of wolves trembled, fear appearing in their eyes; only the wolf king remained unaffected.

He shifted his gaze away from the tiger and scanned the other side.

Suddenly, a mountain breeze blew past, and an alluring scent drifted toward the wolf pack.

The black pupils of all the big gray wolves in the pack dilated! They all looked up in unison at a large tree; the small red fruits on the tree were extremely alluring!

That alluring, fragrant scent was coming from the small red fruits!

Furthermore, this alluring scent was the same as the one on that little bird!

It meant that eating them would allow them to evolve and become even more powerful!

”Roar!!!”

Just as the pack of big gray wolves looked up at the small red fruits not far away, a yellow figure suddenly rushed over like lightning!

And it was bolting straight toward the wolf king!

”Awooo!!!”

The wolf king instantly felt a powerful sense of crisis enveloping him and issued a command!

The battle between the wolf pack and the tiger erupted instantly!

...On a large tree not far away, a Sparrow with gray feathers and a red plume on its forehead gazed down at the battlefield below with intelligent eyes.

The large tiger’s combat power was extremely strong. Before the other big gray wolves could react, their companion had its neck snapped by the tiger’s fangs and massive jaws.

At the same time, the large tiger gradually sustained some injuries, with bloody wounds appearing on its yellow-spotted fur. However, this only incited his ferocity, making his attack style even more brutal.

Watching the slaughter between the large tiger and the wolf pack, Ye Yang’s heart trembled. This was the first time he had witnessed such a bloody scene from such close range.

At the same time, he began to re-evaluate his own combat power.

He had originally thought that since his level had reached ”F-”, he would have some self-preservation ability in nature, but looking at it now, that was premature.

Right now, not to mention that formidable large tiger or the cunning wolf king, he wouldn’t even be a match for a single big gray wolf from the pack.

”It seems the Sparrow as an individual is too weak... Even after leveling up, it’s still at the bottom of the food chain...”

”However...”

Ye Yang looked up, his gaze fixed on the small red fruits on a leafy tree not far away.

These were the fruits that had caused the large tiger and the wolf pack to fight, and he could also feel a rich aura of spiritual energy coming from them.

He blinked his bright black eyes, glanced down at the increasingly intense battlefield, flapped his wings, and flew silently toward the tree with the small red fruits.

”Such rich spiritual energy...”

”Ding, your Basic Breathing Technique has sensed a large amount of spiritual energy in the surroundings. It is in a happy mood, and its operating efficiency has greatly increased!”

Just as he landed on this tree, Ye Yang suddenly felt the rich spiritual energy. At the same time, his body automatically initiated the Basic Breathing Technique, and a large amount of spiritual energy surged into his body, making him feel very comfortable.

”If just the aura has such a strong effect, then if I eat these small red fruits, I’ll surely level up a few times!”

His intelligent little eyes shot out a gleam of excitement!

There were over a dozen small red fruits on the tree in front of him. The small red fruits were the size of cherries, which was just right for his Sparrow-sized body to eat.

He opened his black beak and swallowed a few with their pits. The moment the small red fruits entered his body, they transformed into a powerful stream of heat that continuously nourished every part of his body.

”My body is rapidly becoming stronger!”

”Continue!”

When Ye Yang had pecked at a small red fruit and was on the third one, his body finally began to change!

”Ding, your level has increased to F!”

At the same time, his body finally accumulated enough energy to evolve and level up, and the energy exploded!

”Creak, creak!”

Sounds of bones cracking came from within his body, and his size rapidly expanded, stopping only when he went from the size of a human fist to the size of a palm.

The red plume on his head became slightly more vibrant.

”Phew...”

Ye Yang opened his beak and exhaled. Feeling the powerful new strength within his body, his heart was filled with excitement!

However, looking down at the wolf pack and the large tiger fighting on the ground, his excited heart felt as if a basin of cold water had been poured over it, and he quickly calmed down.

”Compared to the wolf pack and the tiger, my physical strength is still not enough!”

”Fortunately, there are still over a dozen small fruits left...”

So, he continued to gobble up the small fruits on the tree.

His size had increased significantly after the evolution, so now, the small red fruits were basically one bite each, and he soon finished all of them.

Ye Yang also heard the system’s notification sound twice in succession...
