Spiritual Energy Revival: Transform Into a Divine Phoenix, Automatically Upgrade

32: Chapter 32 The Stone Was Actually an EggAfter Ye Yang left, the Forest Rangers at the outpost quickly uploaded the video to Great Xia’s Military Department.

Everything that happened here was learned by the upper echelons of Great Xia, causing a massive uproar.

Ye Yang, of course, did not know about this, and even if he did, he wouldn’t care.

At this moment, he brought the Brown Bear, the Giant Panda, and the Monkey King to a spot not far from the cave.

Loosening his claws, he dropped three spirit fruits before them—fruits found in the truck—and then flew back toward the cave...

Looking at the unremarkable fruits before them, a surge of longing rose from the bodies of the three animals; a voice inside told them that as long as they ate these fruits, they could become even stronger!

At the same time, the changes in that terrifying Giant White Bird flashed through their minds; they hadn’t seen him for just a short while...

Yet this Giant White Bird had actually grown stronger once again!

Although his size still couldn’t compare to theirs, he had grown from one-fifth of their size to one-third, and while his appearance remained the same, the aura he inadvertently emitted filled their hearts with fear.

It felt as if this Giant White Bird only needed to move those snow-white talons for their bodies to be easily torn apart.

One must know that this Giant White Bird already possessed power far exceeding theirs before; now that his body had grown significantly, they were even less likely to be his match!

The Brown Bear couldn’t wait and opened its mouth to swallow the spirit fruit. A surge of heat welled up inside its body, and it clearly felt itself becoming a bit stronger.

Licking its lips, the bear’s eyes then gleamed as it looked at the spirit fruit in front of the Monkey King. The Monkey King reacted quickly, immediately leaping up a tree and swallowing the spirit fruit in one gulp. Soon, it had the same reaction as the Brown Bear, left wanting more.

The somewhat slow-reacting Giant Panda finally realized what was happening and immediately opened its mouth to swallow.

Sweet and delicious... my body feels so comfortable...

How could there be food in this world more delicious than tender bamboo leaves...

Its small, dark eyes were filled with the happiness of a foodie.

At the same time, the three animals temporarily abandoned any thoughts of escaping. This powerful Giant White Bird hadn’t killed them and even provided these fruits that could increase their strength, so they had no intention of running away for now.

...

Ye Yang had the thoughts of the three animals perfectly figured out.

Since those three spirit fruits contained very little spiritual energy—less than what his body absorbed automatically through the Basic Breathing Technique—it was better to use them to appease the three animals.

He could have relied entirely on his superior strength to force the three animals into submission, but Ye Yang chose not to do so.

These three animals had such high intelligence that they would definitely be helpful to him in the future; to win them over, he had to put in some effort.

Inside the cave.

Sure enough, after Ye Yang’s rank rose to ’E+’ and his body became stronger, the magnetic field pressure in the cave felt significantly lower.

He was barely able to maintain flight and soon reached the deepest part of the cave.

His eyes, reflecting green light in the darkness, looked up at the unremarkable stone at the top of the cave. If not for a sudden flash of intuition, he wouldn’t have noticed anything even if this stone were placed right in front of him.

”I hope the value of this stone is worth all the trouble I’ve gone through.”

Boom!!!

A soft sound echoed in the silent cave!

Ye Yang violently flapped his wings and flew toward the cave ceiling!

Although his rank had increased and his body and strength had grown considerably, the immense pressure deep in the cave still affected him constantly.

Flying was difficult; every flap of his wings felt as if the weight of a small mountain was pressing down on them.

After a long effort, he finally reached the top of the cave at a height of over twenty meters.

Opening his beak, he bit onto the target—the unremarkable stone—and could no longer hold on, crashing to the ground.

Getting up, he shook the dust off his feathers and carefully examined the stone on the ground before him.

The stone was only a few dozen centimeters in size and oval-shaped; in front of Ye Yang’s massive body, it was just an inconspicuous pebble.

Standing on the cave floor and looking at the stone, he still couldn’t see anything special about it.

”Forget it, I’ll just use my claws!”

Snap!

His white claws struck the small stone with great force, but surprisingly, it didn’t cause the expected destruction.

However, this was also within Ye Yang’s expectations. The long staff in the Monkey King’s hand was obtained from this cave; this special stone should be made of the same material as the staff.

”Then what exactly is this thing? And what use is it to me?”

”Prompt: Your Supreme Aura Cells feel an intense longing for the object before you and have decided to stop being angry with you, resuming their operation...”

”Prompt: Your ignorance makes the Supreme Aura Cells feel deeply ashamed. They tell you indignantly that this is the egg of a powerful creature...”

”Hmm? The tsundere Supreme Aura Cells are out again?”

”Holy crap! This stone is an egg!”

Ye Yang suddenly leaped backward, his golden pupils widening. The green light reflecting from his eyes in the darkness locked onto the stone on the ground.

”Could a monkey pop out of this stone?”

Recalling the meaning conveyed by the Supreme Aura Cells, Ye Yang guessed that they really wanted to devour this egg because it was laid by a powerful creature.

Since it could make the usually tsundere Supreme Aura Cells react so intensely several times, then consuming it would likely bring unimaginable benefits to the Supreme Aura Cells—and thus, his body.

But the problem was, Ye Yang couldn’t even break the surface of this egg. How was he supposed to devour it?

He wouldn’t have to swallow the whole stone egg, would he?

He wasn’t that reckless. Although he had some confidence in his digestive system, he didn’t dare swallow this stone egg of unknown origin whole.

”Forget it, I’ll keep it for now. Once my rank increases later, I’ll surely find a way to digest this stone egg.”

”Wait, this is the egg of a powerful creature... then what kind of creature could produce such a hard egg?”

One must realize that the explosive force from a casual swipe of Ye Yang’s claws could destroy a truck’s cargo bed, yet it couldn’t damage the stone egg.

If even a stone egg was this hard, how strong were its parents?

He looked at the murals on the side wall. ”Could it be that the scenes recorded in these images are all real? That there was once an unknown period of history where powerful giant beasts roamed...”

”Then... where did those powerful, heaven-defying beasts and humans go...”

For some reason, after learning that the stone before him was an egg, he felt that this cave was a bit strange...

Suddenly, his whole body tensed up!

Because he thought of a terrifying possibility!

The cave he was currently standing in might very well be a part of a giant beast’s body!

Once this thought emerged, he became increasingly certain of it!

”Damn... this is no place to stay. Time to run!”

Grabbing the stone in his bird claws, he quickly ran toward the cave entrance. The dark cave returned to its perennial, abyss-like silence once more...
